I will not make you just a logo, and I'm explaining why. But first I want to tell you why you don't want just a logo, even if you think you do. Let me explain. Business owners often think that they just need a logo to show people who they are and what they do. But a logo actually doesn't really work unless it's part of a visual brand. A visual brand is a collection of visual things that represent you as a business. This includes, but is not limited to, multiple logos, colors, typography, brand illustrations, iconography, and overall style. When these things are put together in a collection and used consistently, you have the visual portion of your brand laid out. This helps people view you as consistent. Let me explain why that's so important. Our brains favor repetition. We rely on consistency. It's what makes us trust things. Think of this like a friend. If you have a flaky friend who always bails on plans, never answers texts, et cetera, you don't trust them as much as your friend who's always there for you, behaves consistently, and is always doing what you know they will do because they're a consistent friend.
