Two assumptions are commonly made when I do these redesign videos. One that it's a real brand. This is pulled from Canva. It's a Canva logo template that people use and repurpose for their businesses. And the second assumption is that businesses rebrand in order to continue attracting the same customer. That is usually the exact opposite reason why a company will rebrand. A rebrand is a redirection of who you are trying to portray yourself as as a brand or who you are trying to attract as a brand or both. So when people make these comments it's a good thing because that is what a rebrand is usually for. So while this was just a piece of content showing how much better we can do with design principles applied instead of an overused Canva logo template that hundreds if not thousands of people are using, a real brand project that would not be done in just a few minutes in an edited video. I need to remind everyone. Research questionnaires, strategy sessions, studying competitors.
