A short YouTube monologue by Christina Hall explaining why she prefers working with clients who appreciate her direct, matter-of-fact communication. She argues that differing communication styles mean some clients will be offended by blunt feedback (e.g., about duplicate logos), and she prefers to attract clients who respond well to candid honesty rather than those who expect overly delicate interactions.

Let me tell you why I love comments like this is a comment from someone telling me that they would never want to work with me and I want comments like this. Let me tell you why. There are 7 billion people on this earth and everyone has different communication styles, different ways of speaking, different words that they love to use, different sentence enhancers they like to use. I am not mean, I do not believe I mean or rude, but I matter of fact direct. I speak my truth. And there are other people on this world who speak and act just like me. And neither of us feel that it's mean when we're interacting with each other. Those are the clients I want to attract. Someone who cannot take me saying simply, if you were a business owner, you would know that having the same logo as several other business owners is not good. That is the comment they're mad about me saying that is the truth. Most business owners understand that if that's rude, they definitely don't want to work with me. And if they're going to get that heated about me saying a very matter of fact comment, I do not want to work with them. I think people think that business owners are like dying for people to work with them. Like, please, anyone work with me. Help to the fuck. No, I'm not desperate for you and I'm definitely not desperate for people who need me to act like perfect, amenable, little delicate.
