Average customers do not care about branding. Let me tell you why that's absolute bullshit. Because branding is not supposed to be a conscious thought for the consumer. It is supposed to be a conscious thought for the business. Now, when I say conscious, we all know that we have a conscious part of our mind, the thoughts that we are having that we know we're having, and a subconscious part of our mind, the part that we don't really tap into as much. Branding is subconscious. It's subliminal. It is meant to send messages that you aren't consciously thinking about. It is the same way people put blue to make calming effects. We aren't looking and saying, oh, blue, I feel calm. But studies have been proven that blue creates calming effects and reduces anxiety. When you have a brand that is supposed to emit a calm feeling, you would be better off using colors like blue or hues that are supposed to make people feel calm. That is just one extremely tiny example of how branding is subconscious. It is emitting a message to your subconscious which influences your conscious decision.
