YouTube video (Christina Hall) giving actionable branding advice to attract an ideal target audience. Emphasis on consistency and aligning messaging with audience values.

I'm going to tell you exactly how to attract your ideal target audience. I want you to think about your business as a music genre. Everyone has different music and genre taste, right? Some people like country, some people like rock, some people like heavy metal. Most of the time, bands don't try to extend into a different genre. They stay within their genre for the most part. And they just want to attract more people who like the genre of music that they are firmly seated in. And so therefore they put out more music that fits within that genre. It is also aligned to what they prefer in values. Heavy metal music is usually angrier or about being cheated on, shit like that. Country music is about losing your dog and loving your truck. These are values that their target audience also relates to. And if you're getting confused because you love multiple types of music, that is great. It is not about you, it is about who you're trying to attract. I may love country music, but maybe heavy metal is my passion and I want to attract other people who have heavy metal as a passion of theirs, or it is the top genre that they love the most. This is how I'm going to sell more albums, by being consistent. And you have to do the same with your branding humans.
