Should you still be worrying about branding if you're a small business? Yes, and here's why. Branding is not just for big businesses. And this comment, I think, is from someone who thinks that branding is just a logo and that logos are just a pretty graphic with your business name on it. And that's not this person's fault because they've never experienced the impact of strong branding. So therefore why would they think it's anything else. When you ignore branding, you have to work twice as hard to convince people that your products or services are worth the money you're asking for them. Whether it's $5, whether it's $5,000. There are both people out there who will look at your product and say, this is not worth $5. And there are equally people who will look at it and say, this is not worth $5,000. And a large part of that is because people judge a book by its cover. So when you're speaking about strictly brand design, what good brand design can do for you is make you look like you fall within the product, service, product pricing range that you are supposed to be falling into, that you want to fall into. Not everyone wants the cheapest service. There are so many.
