If you're a business owner and you have a website and it's on Shopify, Squarespace, whatever, but it's really just sitting out there on the Internet, it's not really making you money and it's kind of just more of like an online business card or really just a waste of a subscription. It's probably because you use one of the basic website templates that came with Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, whatever, and those aren't built to sell. They are built to look pretty or to feel easy to populate images and text into. You need a website template that you are able to one brand for yourself. You should be able to easily swap out fonts, font styles, color styles for your whole website in just a couple clicks, easily swap out images in just a couple clicks. And your website should be structured in such a way that it carries people through the sales sequence as they scroll down to your page. If your website template is not set up to sell to people, it's not going to make you money and you're going to be basically throwing money at your website subscription every month. If you want to see a template that does exactly what I just described, you should check out my Harper template, which uses one of the most robust website platforms that has built in email.
