Christina Hall delivers a short, direct message to business owners urging them to book discovery/sales calls with service providers. She argues that avoiding calls signals a lack of self-trust or backbone, stresses that business owners should evaluate how providers sell (and practice sales themselves), and states that she requires calls as a core business value to ensure collaboration and fit.

I'm sorry, you're going to tell me as a business owner that you will not just book a discovery call, a sales call with a service provider? Like, I have seen so many people say, I will never work with someone who requires a call. All that tells me is that you do not trust yourself or you don't feel like you have enough of a backbone to say, not interested at the end of the call, or literally just start the call. Like, hey, just so you know, I'm in a research phase, so I won't be making a decision on this call. But I'm really excited to hear what you have to say. You're a business owner. You should want to meet virtually face to face with the person you're about to invest thousands of dollars in. How are you making decisions based on the fact that you're scared of being sold to? You literally own a business and you need to be in sales. If anything, you should be seeing how they're selling to you. I require calls with everyone I meet with because it's so important and literally a core value of my business that we collaborate and can work together. Well, I will never book someone I have not met with on a call. And you should honestly not.
