Let me tell you about the time. My client absolutely hated what I designed for them and how I fixed it. The clients that came to me had been in business for over a decade and were realtors in the Palm Springs, Palm Desert area. The brand had not been redesigned in over 10 years. It wasn't having them looking very professional because it was a very obvious, rudimentary amateur design. Their creative director reached out to me because they had attempted to redesign themselves, but everything they came up with just wasn't working per our standard process. I took the information we got from their discovery call as well as the forms that they filled out to understand the vibe and what they were trying to put out with their brand. They were looking for something more modern and more elegant, elevated, and the main way that they operate is through community connections. So they really wanted that to be evident. We started out by putting together three mood boards, just like I do for every single client, and they chose this old money mood board. I'm going to interject right now and be a know it all brand designer and say that I thought from the jump they should have gone with the clean, modern mood board, but let's wait for that to come back. Based off of the old money mood board, I jumped in and started designing a couple concepts for them and this is what we came up with. I had two concepts I was absolutely in love with and I felt perfectly embodied. The mood board that was chip.
