Sylvie Croslard explores the "healing virtue," a faith-activated power that works across distance without Jesus's physical presence. She uses four biblical stories, including the centurion's servant and the Syrophoenician woman's daughter, to show that even tiny faith can trigger God's power and that believers should trust the Holy Spirit to receive healing now.

Hello and welcome to today's episode. This is Sylvie Croslard, your host. The virtue does it. Hello and welcome to today's episode. Um, our topic today is the Virtue Desert. So, it's a teaching about the healing virtue and how it went the distance, how it worked across distances without Jesus having to lay a hand on anybody at times. So, we're looking into Matthew chapter 8, verses 5 to 13. Matthew 15:21-28, John 4:46-54, and Matthew 13:31-32. So Matthew 8:5-13: As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to him begging him, And saying, Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed with intense and terrible tormenting pain. Jesus said to him, I'll come and heal him. But the centurion replied to him, Lord, I'm not worthy to have, to have you come under my roof, but only say the word and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me, and I say to one, go, and he goes, and to another, come, and he comes, and to my slave, do this, He does it. When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those who were following him, I tell you truthfully, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. I say to you that many will come from east and west and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons and heirs of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness in that place. There will be weeping and grinding of teeth. Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go, it will be done for you as you have believed. And the servant was restored to health at that very hour. Matthew 15:21-28. The Syrophoenician Woman. After leaving there, Jesus withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon. And a Canaanite woman from that district came out and began to cry out. Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly possessed by a demon. But he did not say a word in answer to her. And his disciples came and asked him, Send her away, because she keeps shouting out after us. He answered, I was commissioned by God and sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But she came and began to kneel down before him, saying, Lord, help me! And he replied, It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the pet dogs. She said, yes, Lord, but even the pet dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their young— from the master's table. The angel said, woman, your faith is great. It'll be done for you as you wish. And her daughter was healed from that moment. John 4:46-54. Healing a Nobleman's Son. So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee, where he had turned And there was a certain royal official whose son was sick in Capernaum. Having heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to meet him and began asking him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe. The royal official pleaded with him, Sir, do come down before my child dies. Jesus said to him, Go, Your son lives! The man believed what Jesus said to him and started home. And it was already going down. His servants met him and reported that his son was living. So he asked them at what time he began to get better. They said, yesterday during the 7th hour the fever left him. Then the father realized that it was at that very hour when Jesus had said to him, your son lives. And he and his entire household believed and confidently trusted. This is the second sign that Jesus performed after he had come from Judea to Galilee. Matthew 13:31-32. The Mustard Seed. He gave them another parable, saying, the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field. And of all the seeds, it is the smallest, but when it It has grown in, is the largest of the garden herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air find shelter in its branches.

Faith activates the power. Faith activates the distance power. The power travels across space and time. The Spirit, the Holy Spirit, cannot be stopped. It travels across space and time, just like it did at the beginning. It hovered over the face of the earth. Nothing's changed. Faith as big as a speck of dust is enough to trigger virtue and set it off across places and times. Enough trust in God to receive If it's God, he'll do it because by nature God is compassionate and willing to make all things and people new. His generosity is giving of his power. God wants you to have a testimony to share of God's donate across the airwaves today. The bottom line being that we don't know everything, but he does. So some of us have got to lay down some of our thinking. Who should you? Some of us have got to lay down that we think that we know it all, that the flesh got all of that. That we've got it all figured out.
No, we don't. No, we don't.
Um, Jesus has got this. The Holy Spirit has got this. He's got it all figured out, and it's all that matters. And we can rest in that, set our questions to one side, and understand— and understanding those mechanisms belong to To another time and realm.
Or let's pray your way.
Do your thing. Whichever condition you currently have, wherever you are right now, who receive the touch of God.
Receive fresh faith. You receive childlike faith. It's your hunger, it's your desperation that makes the healing happen.
That makes the healing reach you and teach and and touch you. It's your desperation that makes the healing touch you. Fresh healing on you now, in Jesus' name.
شكراً لكم.
If Jesus did it back then, he'll do it now. That's where your faith needs to be positioned. Because you can position your faith.
Huh?
It's a faith that grows. Faith is a thing that grows.
Faith is the thing that can be positioned, placed in the in the right place and time under the correct anointing.
Just like the woman who had had about enough of all the doctors who could do nothing for her, who had shed so much blood, she was in only only the shadow of who she should have been, and she went.
Well, I'll go where God is, and I'll get what I need.
Because God can, just like he did in the beginning. He can, and he will.
The Creator makes all things new.
Consider, um, sowing a seed into this ministry, into this anointing. May the Lord bless you, keep you, make His face shine on you, be gracious to you.
Bye for now.
