Hello, Jason Nicholas Nicholas from The Inspired Life. I am back. Last livestream was, uh, sorry, though, was wonky. Some tech issues. Um, I think it's all figured out now, so If you were with me last time, sorry about that, but thanks for sticking around. Sometimes just— I had the, uh, I had the microphone dictation thing turned on from earlier today, plus my MacBook wants to do some updates. So everything, it was like the, uh, it was like, what do you call it, like when the planets align? Well, like the tech planets are aligning here with my computer, so hopefully I'm back a little bit better. If I'm lagging, let me know. This will be a very quick stream as dinner is ready and happening very soon. I can smell it in the crock pot. I'm making the roast beef in the crock pot. It smells really good. All right, yeah, so we're still sketching the same, uh, church— Church of the Greatest Name Mary in the Trajan Forum in Rome. This one's almost done, I think. Hey Edie, I hope I am back. If I'm still— let me know if I'm lagging, or I'm sorry about the circle of doom. The tech planets are in alignment here, and my Mac wants to update. I had the microphone turned on from dictation earlier today. I don't know what else is going on. I have to start saving up, I think, to maybe get a new computer next year, add a little more power to the hoose. But great to see you back. All right, cool. I really, really like this sketch. So far so good. Thank you, that's awesome. This will be a really quick stream. I have dinner I gotta take out of the crock pot in about, um, about 10-12 minutes. All right, cool. Love this sketch. I don't— I think I'm going to leave the sketch like this. I don't know if I'm going to add any other colors. I'm liking kind of just the blue Sharpie on here. So let me just look up the official name and write it on here. In case I'm messing it up, and I'll show you guys the name as well. Um, trying to find the English version here. Well, in Italian is the Santissimo Nome di Maria. That's the Italian. That's Spanish. That's the Italian saying. Italian pronunciation. Oh my gosh, I need a vacation. I need a vacation. That is not the same place. I don't know, I guess we're gonna go with that. Tantissimo nome di Maria. All right, where am I going to fit that? Sometimes I write— sometimes I write things sideways, so I'm going to write it sideways on here. Santissimo. Santissimo. Santissimo. I just like the way that sounds. San Santissimo nome di Maria. Santissimo nome de Maria. Room. And we'll put 2026. There you go. Boom shakalaka. Maybe I'll put a little bit of hatching on here just to Give a little more depth to it. A little more depth, a little more Johnny depth. There you go. Yeah, I like the shading or the hatching here. Just gives a little depth to it, but I don't want to overdo it, go too cray cray. All right, that's a good example of loose style architectural sketching right there. All right, last thing I'm going to do today, I want to, I want to prepare some abstract backgrounds here so they have time to dry. So if you want to hang with me for just 5 more minutes and we'll just throw down some abstract colors. I need to prep a couple pages. Let me zoom out a little bit. Or not. All right, let's see. We are up to here. All right, let's just throw down some fun acrylic colors and random— I'm gonna go into randomize mode and we'll prep for the next time I sketch. We'll have backgrounds ready to go. And if you're watching live, let me know if you have any questions, comments, and please smash the like button, that thumbs up, smile faces. Share this bad boy out there. Let's get the love going. I want, I want to get, I want to kick butt with, uh, viewers. We got to get the viewership up. I appreciate you guys are always dedicated to showing up. All right, random time for the randomizer. Do you ever— what's that show? There's a game show called The Floor that Rob Lowe hosts, and he says Activate the randomizer. So we're going to activate the randomizer right now. All right, let's get taking some of these brushes out and soaking in here. All right, let's do it. No particular order, guys. I just like to grab and go with color, so that's what we're gonna do. I might break out a palette knife. I had a couple students suggest to me, like, Mr. Nick, maybe you could use a palette knife. I'm like, oh, okay. Don't— I haven't used a palette knife in years. I don't— haven't even used it that much. So let's, let's, let's do them justice and just see what happens. Again, this is kind of new turf for me. So, you know, one of the things I love is just creating and throwing down colors and trying different things. So this is new for me. So we'll do a little palette knife, we'll break out the brush. I'm just working on two pages at once here. I don't really even— let's see, how do I mix colors? Oh, I see. That's kind of cool. I kind of like what's happening up top there. I feel like I really need to throw the paint down thick for this. Uh, let's see, what else are we gonna grab? I am running out of neon pink. This is really weird. I feel like I should be, um, frosting a cake. And we'll throw on a couple more colors. Oh, there are some really fun colors happening kind of right in that section. And slide this over. I like how this— I can kind of scrape the paint off with it. That's kind of cool. That was fun. That was fun. All right, 2 more minutes. I'm gonna wrap here. All right, I just want to throw one last color. I want to— I want something really, really bright, um, either neon red or neon pink. Let's do some neon red. I just really kind of want it to be like boom, in your face kind of red. In your face red, that's a good name for a color. And it's officially artwork because I'm wearing it. I had this mini knife thing too. Is it And I don't know how you're supposed to use these, and that's fine. It's all about playing, experimenting, having fun. There's no right or wrong ways when you're in the sandbox of creativity. I'm kind of liking that. I really like that pop right there in the corner. All right guys, I think these are done. We'll let them dry. So we have our new backgrounds coming up. Yeah, Edie, I know. Sorry I blew up that— I blew it with that buffering, but thanks for hanging out. I appreciate your time. It's always nice to have you in the house. All right, cool. I think this is going to dry and be a really cool background. Here's the other side, same colors but very different, right? Here's one and here's two. So we'll let them dry, and next time I'm on, I can use them to do some more NYC architecture. We keep our yellow Her yellow sketch journal of fun happening. Cool. All right, I think with that, guys, I'm gonna wrap up for now because I have to go do dinner. Maybe I'll be on later, maybe not, I'm not sure. Um, but thank you for joining me, Edie. Thank you for joining me, I appreciate having you in the house. So thank you so much for hanging with me. Appreciate your time. And guys, thanks for liking and subscribing and bearing with some, some buffering issues. But you know what, sometimes we need a little buffer to regain our composure. Trying to make a— trying to spin it. All right guys, until we meet again, sketch boldly, live creatively, and inspire. Endlessly.
