In this brief YouTube segment, the creator records themselves sketching inside New York’s Oculus transit hub. They describe the scene as a complex perspective that they reduced to basic shapes, focusing on rib‑like structural elements on the right side of the drawing. The speaker likens the interior space to being inside a whale’s rib cage, emphasizing the striking, organic feel of the architecture. The narration is informal, highlighting the artist’s observational process and the visual metaphor that guided the sketch.

Okay, so I'm here inside the Oculus. Um, just did a quick sketch. This is pretty, uh, interesting. The sketch is complicated, interesting perspective. So I just went really simplified it down to the shapes that call my eye. So if you look at those kind of like, uh, rib-like structures You can see on the right-hand side of my sketch, I tried to capture that idea. I almost feel like I'm inside the rib cage of a whale. Really, really interesting space.
