In this brief live stream titled “back again,” Jason Nicholas returns to his “Inspired/Inkspired Life” series after an unexpected YouTube interruption. He sketches a torch illustration, adds the caption “be the light” (crediting a friend named Chip), and comments on the visual details and colors. The stream pivots to a reflective discussion about perfection, tech glitches, and the importance of continuing creative work despite setbacks. Jason emphasizes embracing imperfection, sketching boldly, and staying creative. He closes by previewing upcoming sketchbook projects, including revisiting his “ugly books,” a potential NYC sketchbook entry, and future content for the series.

All right guys, hey, Jason Nicholas Nicholas here with The Inspired Life. I am, uh, I hope I'm back live again. I don't know what the heck happened with my last stream, so I'm only gonna be on for a couple minutes anyway, but let's go live on you on Instagram. All right, all right, I am, I am back again. Hopefully. I don't know what happened. YouTube, uh, stopped me for some reason, so I'm just sketching here, part 2. I'm gonna wrap this up. We're having such a fun chat. What the heck? Alright, cool. I like the way this torch is looking. I think it's coming out pretty, pretty nice. Bring it up so you can see some of the details up close. Liking it, liking it. Let's, um, of course I gotta write, write the caption, be the light on here, right? So I haven't captioned anything in, in the calendar sketchbook yet. Kind of waiting. Am I lying? No, I wrote down some of the things on here, but we're gonna put 'be the light' because that's what I love writing on these torch sketches. Um, shout out to my friend Chip who came up with that idea. Alright, I think this one is done for now. So, um, I appreciate if you were watching part 1, 1 of this, until Facebook— I'm sorry, YouTube froze on me. I don't know what the heck happened. Um, this goes back to— I'm gonna wrap up. This goes back to what I was saying at the very beginning. So go back to part 1 from tonight, and, um, I was talking about perfection. So yeah, tech issues. I don't know what happened to YouTube. You know what, was it a perfect stream? No. Did it stop me from sketching and continuing? No. I kept, kept going down the path, kept sketching. Despite tech issues, and we have to just learn, you know, to keep moving forward. We don't— we can't expect perfection, you know, keep moving forward. And I didn't want the tech issues to stop me from sketching, creating. Was it annoying? Yeah, very annoying, but it's to be expected. So, you know, just keep, keep moving forward and doing what you're doing. Don't let perfection be an excuse to stop, to stop you in your tracks. So cool. I really like the way this torch is turning out in here. I love the colors, looks so cool. All right, I think this one might be a wrap until we sketch again. Sketch boldly. Live creatively and embrace imperfection. And, um, next time we'll revisit our ugly books. We'll do some more sketching, and then we'll— I don't know what we'll sketch next in our NYC sketchbook, so stay tuned. For what's coming up next time on The Inkspired Life.
