Hey Janice, hope all is well. Thanks for tuning in. Jason Nicholas, that's fantastic. If you could do me a favor, I don't know, can you see anything on the screen? I'm trying YouTube out here for my first live stream I've done on YouTube outside, and I can't see anything on my screen. If you should be seeing some buildings in the background So just put in the chat if you could see the buildings or not, otherwise I'm doing something incredibly wrong. Maybe you— I don't know if you— maybe you might be looking at me. Let me try and change the camera. Aha, there we go! I had to change the camera, it was facing me for some reason. No one wants to see that. Hope you're doing well. I hope, uh, you've been out and about in the city taking some pictures. I haven't been able to, uh, watch The Urbanist this week, so I'm sure Ariel's been out and about doing some videos, and I always love watching his stuff. So he's inspiring me to do some videos outside. So I'm glad you can see things now. So there should be a parade starting here in a little bit. On the Water. I don't know the exact time, I'm going to say around 9:35 or 9:40, but hopefully some people from Facebook will come on over. I posted a link on the Facebook chat sending people to YouTube. How do I see the comments? Oh wow, you're upstate with family, that's awesome! I hope you had a good time with family upstate. Pretty cool. Trying to figure out how do I keep the comments on here. Janice is home now, that's awesome. I am trying to figure out how I can see all the people chatting here. I saw someone randomly pop on. I have no idea how I can see all the stuff in the chat. Anyway, so this is a beautiful nighttime view here at the water's edge. I see some boats. Yeah. So I am at the Polynesian Resort on the beach here in Orlando, Florida, and there's a beautiful out here. There's a ferry boat there. You can see the— that is the Grand Floridian Hotel in the background. To my right, we have some, some Polynesian, uh, I call them huts. These little hut buildings on the water. And all the way in the back, if you see a building with bright white lights, that is the Contemporary Resort Hotel. Hi Petronia! Someone named Petronia is in the chat. Hey Petronia, thank you for joining us. I am not be able to see all the chat going on I think it's just you now. Well, Janice, that's awesome. You have a, uh, solo show again. I popped on a little early. I had to put on my Facebook page to come on over around 8:30. I wanted to practice this before we get going. I'm not exactly sure what time we'll be seeing this water parade. I believe it's around 8:40-ish. I've actually kind of caught the tail end of it the past couple nights, and I never pay attention to when it starts. Um, I need a gimbal if I'm going to be doing this in the future. Janice says okay. Janice, you are awesome, and I loved all the— I love all your photographs you post from NYC. I didn't get a chance to make it out there during the holiday this year, but I hope to get to NYC this spring coming— this coming spring and walk around. Photograph and sketch some of the architecture there. That would be really cool. Hey Patty, thank you for joining me here on YouTube. I appreciate it. Um, hopefully you saw my thing on Facebook. I'm trying to send some people to YouTube, just trying something different. So I think Patty, you actually were on the other night when I was trying to stream that parade in the water. Or I wasn't in the water, the parade was actually on the water. Uh-huh. I feel like I'm underwater right now. But anyway, I have a much better view, so I'm hoping we can see some stuff. Can't promise, but I will try. But anyway, just take a look at the beautiful lights here. This would be a great screenshot. I love the way light reflects off water. It's so beautiful. Patty, I hope you enjoyed your pizza for dinner tonight. I saw your comment. Um, it was fun streaming earlier from the Contemporary Resort. I did a few shorts there. Lost internet connection inside the building a few times, but I was able to go outside and had a nice view looking over at the Magic Kingdom. Space Mountain we got to see as well from a distance. Um, the monorail— we watched the monorail coming into the Contemporary Resort. So it's a kind of a fun stream I did earlier today. That is a, uh, that's a ferry boat that goes over to the Magic Kingdom area. Sorry, the camera's moving around, guys. I apologize. Is that the same parade you watched from Epcot? No, no. So this, um, the parade I'm talking about now is, uh, it's over here on the lake that connects the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort, over to the Magic Kingdom. I shouldn't know the name of it. I want to say Bay Lake. This might be Bay Lake here. So it's a different parade. It's a parade that started, I think, in 1970 or '71. Um, basically it's a series of barge boats linked together with electronic lighting displays on them, and they play some really cool— some people call cheesy music. I think it's fun. So it's a fun electrical water parade. That's what I'm waiting to watch. Daddy has a long story about that pizza. I had to stop short on the way home and the pizza box ended up on the floor. Oh no, I am so sorry. I hope you were able to get another pizza and enjoy it. No one likes pizza spilling on the floor. Oh no, Patty, sticky story. Yeah, we'll take a look over here. Uh, Patty or Janice, if you can let me know if you saw— I don't know if you're on Facebook— and if you saw a post I had shortly— I can't talk tonight— a short while ago, uh, sending people to YouTube. Let me know. I'm trying to get some— I'm trying to get people to come to YouTube for this stream, and I can only stream to one social media thingy right now on my phone. I'm hoping to get some, maybe some YouTube peeps watching. You know what, if it's just us, that's awesome. I hope you stick around and we can watch the show. If I'm making you seasick, I'm sorry. Sosanbud, I am the person who drops butter toast and it lands on the buttered side down. Ooh, ouch. I hate when that happens. Um, if I drop toast and even if it lands on the unbuttered side, I, I will not eat it. I have a thing about eating food off the floor, um, and I don't go by the 5-second rule. Kind of weird that way. Enjoy this Polynesian Christmas music. Patty says, I don't like the 5-second rule either. Glad to know I'm not alone with that. How is the picture for you guys at home? Is— besides the shakiness, does it look clear? If you look in the distance, you can see they're getting the parade ready. There's a bunch of red lights moving across the water. Love the reflections. Time to get the glitter glue out again. Yeah, Patty, I loved your fireworks sketch, um, with all those markers and glitter. That was awesome. That was— it was actually more than awesome. It was pretty explosive artwork. I loved it so much. It was so cool to see that you, uh, you posted that. So awesome, awesome job with the artwork. I'm glad, uh, you did your homework. You get an A+ for doing your homework. Using glitter was a great idea. That was so fun. Your picture is made sharper tonight, much sharper. That's interesting. I think what I'm going to do, guys, I'm going to come down here, I'm going to balance this, maybe hopefully make it a little stabler. So there's some activity going out on the lake. You can see some green lights moving, red lights. Those are the barges out there. Pretty explosive. Haha, yeah, they were explosive. So if I miss any comments in chat, I apologize. I'll look through later as well. It's very hard for me to keep up with two people watching. Now the comments don't continuously show on my screen. I don't know how to change the setting. I have to keep touching the screen, so I might miss some, but once the parade starts, I will be quiet. I want the blue boat to come back. Patty wants the blue boat. Oh, you mean the ferry boat that went to Magic Kingdom? Um, it'll be back again. I don't— I think they wait until the electrical parade's over. So I heard that this parade, um, the light bulbs they use for these floats— you'll see what I'm talking about in a few minutes— but the light bulbs are either they're very, very rare or they don't make them anymore. Um, so if the light bulb goes out, they're very expensive to replace apparently. Um, I don't know, I don't remember the full story. I'd have to look into it. Or maybe they're manufactured somewhere and they're hard to get. I forget. There is something up with the light bulbs they use though. See, Patty, I see some— I saw some little lobster boat. Worked on for lobster boat for about 2 hours, and just before finishing up, he left. Painted plein air on a small island that looks over a dock where lobster boats tie up. Oh, so the boat left before you could finish your painting. I'll be quiet, guys. Enjoy.

You got it. Jenna says I remember this now. Oh, Janice, you remember the parade? That's so cool. Yeah, I don't know how much it's changed over the years, although the castle at the end, right, did say 50. It's— this is, uh, Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary this year, so obviously that's different. Cool. All right guys, I'll zoom in a little bit and I'm going to wrap up. I have to pack. I am out of here early, early tomorrow morning. We are headed home tomorrow. This is my last day, last night here. The magic of the vacation's about to end. But the celebration of life in a new year is about to begin.
Oops.
All right guys, thank you for watching so much. I appreciate you, uh, tuning into YouTube and help me get through this livestream experience. Not too many technical difficulties other than just some shaky hands. I wasn't planning on doing livestreaming while I was out here other than sketching. Cool. All right guys, let me just check the chat. Uh, Patty says there's a short video about this parade with the scenes close up online. Here's the link. Hey, thank you for sharing the link. I'll definitely check that out. I remember the seahorses and flags. Janice, that's so cool. I'm so glad you remember that. Um, that is awesome. Here's the blue boat. Oh, hey, thank you for the safe travels. I appreciate that. It'll be, uh, I'm sure they'll be very safe. I'll be very sleepy tomorrow morning, but it'll be nice to be back home in the Garden State with my see our cat, and I get to sleep in my own bed. Yes! All right, guys, have a live stream. So, Patty, you know I always don't know how to turn things off. Somewhere out here. Thank you, Janice. Safe travels. I appreciate that. Alright guys, I found the button. Take care, have a great, great night. Peace, and live creatively. Thanks again.
