Jason Nicholas loosens his technical drawings by going back over clean lines to make them softer and more organic. Different line styles serve different intentions, he says, showing how a butterfly and flower sketch needs that looser feel to work.
This is, uh, this started off being more technical, which is okay, but it was too— some of these lines were too clean, so I had to— I literally just went back over to loosen them up, and that's the vibe I wanted to go for. So yeah, there's different styles, right, depending on what you're trying to do. Cool. Hey Andrew, good to see you. Hope you had a good day today, man. Always good seeing you. So hopefully you're getting the vibe of a butterfly here. We got a flower happening. Um, let's throw some color down. What time is it? I'm only gonna be on for maybe 5 more minutes or so.
