Hey guys. Jason here from the inspired life. Hope you're having an awesome day. Part 3 I'm back again. I wasn't on that long ago. I know. Hopefully you're not getting too tired of me showing up here but I want to give you a quick sketchbook tour, show you some things I've been working on lately. And yeah, let's just do a quick little show and tell. Hope you're having an awesome Sunday. Weather's kind of holding off right now. Supposed to get some I think wicked rain coming through later. But here's a. Here's a couple things. I've just been sketching lately. I think it's always fun. I love when other sketchers, artists kind of show off or not show off, but kind of show what they're working on, not trying to show off. So here we go. So here's a cool kind of industrial sketch that I did from my imagination and I really was just playing kind of industrial vibes here with the ink colors you see happening going on. This is a sketch that was inspired by the, the JP Morgan Chase new headquarters building in nyc. This is just a really small kind of lower left section of the building. It's a really tiny area but I thought was cool how the structure of it and the angles that were going on. I have a colored image here. Coloring just kind of helps to show a little bit of the shapes a little bit more. These aren't the actual colors. It's kind of just my vibe of it actually. Let's throw some on here. I'm loving this purple. Been using purple lately for kind of shadows. We'll just throw some on here. Yeah, but the JP Morgan Chase is a very, very cool building. I, I can't wait till they actually open the lobby up to the public and I think there's like a like food court or something up on the 14th floor. Like a big two story food court public space. That's gonna be so cool when that actually opens up. Be awesome if I can get a field trip going there. But I don't know if that's gonna happen this year. Pro. So I'm going to throw down some colors I want to. This is a aqua. I like using aqua, especially nearly brown colors. I think it pops kind of nicely. Zoom in a little bit. There we go. So yeah, this sketchbook tour is now turning into me actually sketching which is always a cool thing. No complaints from me. Why not? Right. So I guess this is just a good example that it you can always come back revisit your artwork later on. You can always add things or change things if you want. Sometimes it's good to let things just sit for a while and come back to them. I actually have done that twice with these sketches. The first time was just all black and white. And then I'm like, you know, let me add some color, play around with some ink. And today I'm actually. Now I'm adding even more kind of details on it. And kind of these. Building these layers can just add more interest to what you're doing. Or sometimes I could do the opposite and just make it really busy and crazy looking. But you know what? You don't know unless you try it. Just go for it. Just kind of throw down, throw down some lines, throw down some colors, throw down some ink and be playful. It's really about just having a playful mindset. I want some bright yellow. Let's break out neon for bright yellow. I like using on this neon yellow color pencil. That yellow kind is just really popping out against the background. That. What am I looking for? It's okay. I don't see it. Let's grab this. It. All right, cool. I kind of like that. So we just threw down some colors on there. So this is the opposite corner of that building. Black and white. And this is the opposite corner of that. A little bit of color. I think adding the neon yellow was fun because it kind of let me zoom closer. It popped. Helped a lot of this pop out. Right, you guys, can you see that? I see how it popped out a little bit there. Awesome. All right, so we have 1, 2, 3. These are sketches I was working on earlier today. If you missed the live stream from before today, definitely check it out. It's where I went through and added some color. The purples on here that really helped to pull it out a little bit more here. We added some blue. That's kind of where we're at right now with some sketches. So thanks for watching. I'll probably be back on later after I do some stuff. And I have a barn over there, barn sketch that I think I'm going to add some colors to. Hey, thank you for watching. This is Jason with the inspired life sketch. Boldly live creatively and inspire endlessly.
