Hey, everybody. Happy Sunday. I'm back for part three. One, two, three. Three. I said three. Yeah. Been on a bunch today. I just having fun sketching in between doing some paperwork stuff. Now I'm just waiting for dinner to wrap up my chicken cooking, so I thought I'd stream for, like, 15 minutes to show you. Or maybe we'll just work on this barn sketch I started earlier. Let's throw down some color on it. Have some fun. Let me know how you're doing. If you're watching live, I appreciate that. And if you're not watching live, then maybe you're a ghost. Yeah. Just working on some Halloween humor. Halloween's coming up. Gonna practice the puns. All right, cool. So this barn I started earlier today. Black and white right now and some grays, and basically, I just threw down some ink with this new fountain pen I had gotten yesterday. Really? Really? I like it so far. It's cool. The company's Monteverde, and this is called the axis. Axis. Boom. I. They did not give this to me. I bought it myself at the pen show yesterday. So all these opinions are my own. Unswayed, unbiased opinions. No sponsorship here yet, but anyway, I do like. I do like this pen. So far. It's kind of cool. All right, let's. Let's throw down some color. I'm prepping for my workshop on October 26th. It'll be online or via Zoom. If you want to learn how to sketch fall inspired barns, feel free to. To join the workshop. October. October 26, 2025. All right, I got some watercolor here, and let's just throw. Get some water. I don't need the pen right now. Okay. So I only have, like, 10 minutes here, so I'm gonna throw down some color quickly. And if you're watching on Instagram, Sorry, if you can't see the whole. The whole screen there. I am also on YouTube at the inspired Life, so you can always find me there too. So you might notice this black ink bleeds. So I use the ink that came with the pen. It's not waterproof, so this might be a good example of why I like to start with Sharpie markers first, because they will not bleed. So this might end up being a little muddier than I would like it with all the black ink kind of bleeding together. But we'll see what happens. Maybe it'll turn out to be a dark, eerie kind of fall Halloween barn. We'll see. We'll see what happens. So I threw down some orangey colors. You May see me blotting some stuff on this too, just to pull up some of that. Cool. I'm diving into some yellow right now. I call it Taxi Cab Yellow. Someone out there probably knows the actual name for it. Just reminds me of a. Well, taxi cabs. It. Hello, Eagle Scout. How are you? Hope all's well. Good to see you. All right. We got some yellows, some oranges happening. I'm going to go for some green right now. I kind of like the colors happening here on the barn. Looks pretty good. Yeah. This looking kind of cool. You like the way that looks? Hey, good to see you over on YouTube. Hope all's well, Eagle Scout. Hopefully you can see the screen better now. Always good to see you. I'm going to grab some lemon yellow. Let's see. Do that. I wish you guys could see my paints more, but I'm trying to tell you what colors. So I got a nice lemon yellow on here. Appreciate you watching on YouTube, people. Be sure to like and subscribe if you haven't already. That would be awesome. Be amazing. It'd be so fun to get to a thousand subscribers before. Before the end of October. How fun would that. I'm liking the real. The very unfinished look happening here. Just thinking colors. I'm thinking too much. So this color is. It's almost like a yellow highlighter color. It. All is well. That's good. I'm so glad all is well. Right? Cool. I got five minutes. Five minutes. What am I gonna do? Let's see. I think we throw down some pink. It's. So. I like the way this is drying. I really love the orangey colors happening here. When I threw the pink down, it transformed it a lot. Hey, Matt. Laroque says, I love your use of color. Thanks, Matt. I appreciate that. I really appreciate that. Thanks for the comment. Appreciate. Appreciate it. So I just. I'm just kind of. I know the colors I like. I usually go with those palettes or I just kind of grab and go with what I have here. Not. Not painting anything to be too. Or very, very realistic. Just going for a vibe. That's kind of my goal with my architectural sketches. These colors I'm trying to have. This palette is inspired by the fall. The beautiful fall foliage. Hey, Dirk. Good to see you. Long time. How. How are you? Really Long time. Hope you're doing well. I haven't seen you. Gosh, long time. Hope you're doing well, my friend. That's really awesome. Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. I'm. I'm really liking this One, I'm liking a lot of the white space on here. I need a little bit of blue, though, to cool things down. And I'm just gonna grab my favorite blue color right here. You can see my palette. So I'm gonna go for some. Some turquoise. Also, if you look at the bottom right, you'll see I have a new logo. Right there. You can see in the bottom right. The palette says the Inspired life Shout out to Dansky on YouTube. He's a graphic designer, Adobe, and Photoshop guru. He designed this logo for me. I love it. So take a look at it, and it represents a few things. I'll see if you guys can guess what the logo reps. All right, so I'm throwing on some blue now just to. I just to cool down some of these colors a little bit. I'm thinking too much sometimes. I'm trying to be too careful. I'm just thinking blocks of color because I can always come back in later and add details with ink. All right, I need to head out. My dinner's in the oven. I kind of like that effect. I was making the paint look like it's kind of bleeding down to here just to be fun. See, just a little bit of blue, I think. Just cools it down a little bit. Dirk's doing good so far. That's awesome. Usually very late for you because you're six hours ahead here. Oh, gotcha. So it is 11:42pm There. It's good to know Dirk. I appreciate that. Maybe on weekends I'll try to go on earlier, especially with the fall and winter coming. Usually we go for a walk at night, but we have a nor' Easter coming through. It's kind of yucky out.
