In this live streaming session, Jason Nicholas of The Inkspired Life guides viewers through an on‑the‑fly architectural sketch inspired by Spokane’s Riverfront Park. He attempts to display a reference photograph of a utilitarian riverside building and several distinctive bridges, describing the park’s footbridge, background bridges, rock outcroppings, and surrounding pine trees. Throughout the stream, Jason engages the audience by asking for feedback on zoom levels, audio quality, and encouraging viewers to explore his social media for additional reference images. He also mentions earlier livestreams that capture the park’s ambience, positioning the sketch as a personal, improvisational interpretation rather than a precise replication.

Hey there everybody, this is Jason Nicholas Nicholas with the Inkspired Life. I'm on West Coast time, so my brain's a little crazy. Join me for a few minutes of architectural sketching and let me know where you're watching from. Today I'm going to sketch a scene or some architecture that's inspired inspired by the Riverfront Park here in Spokane. Some really cool buildings, lots of fun bridges. So let's do some sketching. Alrighty, I'm gonna pull up— I'm gonna look at a reference picture here. Um, this is a remote setup, so it might look a little funky here. With the desktop and the lighting and the sound. But hey, I just want to bring something to you, and, uh, let's have some fun. This is just a, um, some kind of utilitarian building here along the riverfront. Really cool, um, building. Let's see if I can bring an image up on screen. I don't know if I can, but I'll see if I can get it to work in a, in a minute here. And if you are watching, let me know if I need to zoom in or not, and if you can hear me, all that fun stuff. I just want to turn the comments on. Let's see, window, window, comments. Ah, there we are, got it. I should be on YouTube and Facebook at the same time. All right, and then we have a, we have a really cool bridge structure that kind of goes across like that. This— if I drag this on screen, let's see if I get it to work. Yeah, I can't get the reference image up, but I'll— I will post a picture of the reference image. But again, it doesn't matter because I'm just using it as inspiration. I'm not trying to replicate exactly what I'm seeing. There's another bridge back here way in the background. Crazy, crazy, all the bridges. Um, I love the riverfront park here. It is, it is just amazing with the rush of the water and the falls here, all the bridges, lots and lots of different little pockets of, um, areas where you can hang out and sit. Um, I could spend hours and hours and hours and hours here. So this is kind of— this is a little footbridge in the foreground. If you want to see some pictures of some of the bridges, feel free to check out my Facebook page or my Instagram. Um, just look up The Inkspired Life and you should find them, and you can see some of the cool bridges here. And then we have, let's see, we have kind of some rocks out, rock outcroppings here like this. I also did a couple of live streams earlier today on YouTube if you want to see those. Just get a glimpse of the surroundings. We have some landscape back here, some Um, looks like maybe some pine trees going on.
