Hey there, Patty, how are you? Hope you're having a great, great day today. I just Popping on quickly this afternoon, just playing around with some sepia, a sepia pen. And just taking a little break, got a lot of schoolwork going on and I just need a quick mindset change. Sketching always helps me to change my mind, get it going in other directions. So it's good to see you. Hope you're having a great, great day. Yeah, this is a sepia brush pen. I actually— this is the first time I'm using it, to be honest with you. So it's a Pentel, Pentel Sepia Brush Pen. So I had it sitting here in a package and I've been wanting to try it. I figured now's a great time to do that. Nice sunny day. Awesome. Yeah, working from home. That's, uh, I get to work from home when we're all in all virtual mode at school, which we're not right now, but, um, but I worked from home for many, many, many, many years with my business. It was awesome. It's always, it's always great being home. For sure. Especially on a sunny day. It's actually cloudy here. I think we're gonna get some rain here in New Jersey, but that's okay. April showers bring May flowers. This looks cool. Just a fun little sketch. I did something a little bit earlier. I already took the first tip of the pen out. I just wanted to see how it dries. So actually I'm still getting a little bit of bleeding on it. I thought it was water-resistant. I'm glad it's not. I like the fact that it does bleed a bit. Maybe after it totally dries it'll be— oh yeah, I think after it totally dries it does a bleed. Let's do another quick sketch here. Cucados, thanks. I think a Keebler elf lives there. Yeah, I could see some little, uh, some Keebler elves being here, making some of their delicious cookies. I love that. I haven't had A Keebler cookie product in a long time. That's so funny. The guys live in a tree, right? So I'm thinking this is a stone cottage. Yeah, I have a little guest in the house. A little spider's visiting me. Hello, Mr. Spider. Get you over there. Awesome. Yes, your cottage. Yeah, it does. I agree with you. Awesome. Yeah, that Ben Jerry's perspective was awesome. I have to say, I might have to agree that that is a better perspective than a building perspective. Thank you for sharing it. That was awesome. Yeah, those Ben Jerry's slices look really incredible. I probably would end up eating like a whole box, not just have one. Thank you for sharing that, that was so cool. I guess the secret's out about my Ben Jerry's. We won't call it an addiction, we'll call it love. Love of Ben Jerry's. "That was awesome." Yeah, thanks again. I love that. That was a great share. Now I want Ben Jerry's. What the heck? I'm just drawing some little scragglies, some growies going on here. I think that's cool. I'm not gonna add too much more to this one. I like it. Awesome, so we got a couple of sketches going there. That was fun. And I think I'm liking this brush. You have to have kind of a delicate hand because if you push— I mean, it's one of those points where the lighter your grip is or lighter pressure you have, the thinner line you'll draw. The harder you push, the thicker line you'll get. So it's something that will take practice to learn to get the feel of, but it's cool that it has those possibilities. And my other question will be, I wonder how long the replaceable cartridges are that go in here. I'm just wondering how long they will last. I guess it depends on how much I sketch with it. So that's my other question. Yeah, it was something fun to play around with and kind of grab and go, take a little break from schoolwork. That's awesome. I like it too. I sketched your little village on black paper last night. Yeah, that'd be cool. I'd love to see it. Yeah, definitely share it. That'd be so fun to see. Awesome. Yeah, so next time I use this black paper, I'm gonna see if I can maybe dig out some other colors, see how they look on here. But yeah, that'd be great, definitely share that. I appreciate it. Cool. All right, well, I am outta here. I was poppin' on just a little quick today, wanted to try a new pen out. Now I have to go back and do Homework. Woo-hoo! Who doesn't love homework? You're awesome. So just so you know what I was using, it is a Pentel— oh, hey Karen, how are you? Good to see you. It was a Pentel Pocket Brush Pen here. First time I ever used it. So far I like it. So far so good. It's going to take getting used to. You can draw different little thicknesses of lines and things with it. I think when it dries, it's ink— water resistant, it says, right? It says permanent ink, it's both water and fade resistant. So while it's still wet, you can play around with it a little bit. I guess as it dries, you can't do anything. Cool. Yeah, so, um, yep, so I just I was trying this out for a few minutes and then I did this one on the other side. Just kind of cute little cottage sketches. I'm working on my inky— I forget what we called it— Inky Cottage series. So slowly just going to be adding different cottages to that series as we go along. So this has a side 1 and side 2. I'm liking them both, but I'm definitely, I'm liking this more. This is more cottagey. Cool. Yeah, of course, I love showing this stuff to you guys. Thank you for watching. Yeah, Karen, yeah, I wasn't on for too long, so like 15 minutes or so, but definitely go check it out. And yeah, that's a wrap. So I'm gonna go back and go finish my homework. It's just that sometimes sketching for me is a good way to shift gears, get a break. I was gonna take a nap, but I said, you know what, instead of napping, let me do something creative. So I feel kind of refreshed and ready to go and get more work done. So I'll see you guys later. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. Take care. Peace. Live creatively. See you soon.
