Hello, if you're watching, happy Christmas Eve. Hope all is well with you. I am on really briefly. I have about 7 minutes here before I have to head out, but I just wanted to pop on and get my daily bridge sketching, because I don't know if I'll do it later or not. Thank you for watching. I hope you're having a great day. I hope you're gonna have a very nice holiday, Christmas, and I hope you're able to take some time out and just savor the moment for a little bit. Oh, let's see, I'm gonna grab a— let's see, let's do something. I'm gonna grab— let's see, I'm looking for a color. I'm gonna grab this ink right here. It's called Salmon, Salmon Hors d'uvre. That's the name of the ink. Gotta love that name. And I am just going to literally just sketch paint with it in the couple minutes I have left. Hey Kate L! Hey Kate L! Hope all is well. Happy Christmas Eve to you also. Thanks for tuning in. I appreciate you watching. So this is just ink I'm using here. And open up some water. Here's a sketch I worked on yesterday of the Brooklyn Bridge. Came out pretty cool. I like the way it dried. But today we're just going really quick, fast, and loose, and I'm just going to throw some colors. I'm kind of using some red and green, maybe a little Christmasy colors happening on this, although it's more pink than red, but that's cool. And this is going to be really fast. Boom! Kate says, "Lovely." Oh, thank you, Kate. That's so cool. Okay, I don't know if I've ever seen you watching before, so welcome if this is your first time. I appreciate it. If you like what you're watching, I'd love for you to give me a thumbs up or check out some other videos and subscribe to my YouTube. That would be so cool. Again, quick, quick, quick sketch. I'll probably come back after this is dried, maybe tonight or tomorrow or the next day, and add some more details on top of it. Sketching some cables on this perspective bridge here. So we got some cables happening here, also have some kind of happening in here as well. Rotate it, let's do some cables on this side here. We have some top cables happening there. These are guardrails on the side of the bridge. I think I want a darker color in here, so I'm going to grab a I want to grab— let's grab some— grab some watercolor. I have some blue in here. I got a couple more minutes left. Put the cap on this so I don't spill it. Cool. All right, so I just have some of my watercolor palette. You zoom in a little bit. There you go. Oh, you live near Roo in Charlotte. Very, very cool. That's awesome. Roo is awesome. He is a— Roo is a mentor of mine. He's become a friend. I am so blessed to have met him. Awesome. So I'm just throwing down some blue in here. I just want to— yeah, I feel like I need a dark color in here just to kind of add a little depth to what I'm doing. This is going to be record timing for me. I have never— I haven't done one of these bridge sketches so fast, but it's fun. So I've been sketching a bridge now. This is bridge number 24, I think, in a row. So I've been sketching every day straight, at least for 24 days. My goal was to sketch a bridge a day starting in December. Um, actually, I think I started the end of November, so I've been sticking with it pretty well. Whether it's a real bridge or an imaginary. This is an imaginary piece I'm sketching here out of my brain. It is fast, it is loose, it's crazy, and I spilled some ink over here somewhere. Yikes, kid's making a mess here, guys. I'm making a mess. You can't see it, it's off camera, but There we go. Spilled a little bit of ink over there. Alright. Cool. So I think this is going to be awesome when it dries. When after it dries, I'll come back, uh, probably with my Sharpie or even my Pilot pen, Pilot Precise right here, and I'll add some detail on top of it. Right now I just got the color down as a base. You can kind of see in the bridge I did— this was from yesterday— something similar. You know, I threw down some guidelines, some Sharpie, and then I threw some color, and I came back after it dried and added a little more Sharpie on top. So it's a very similar process. Did you come to Charlotte? No, Kate, I did not go to Charlotte. I was supposed to meet up with Rue back in the beginning of November, and I messed up the dates. I was off— I thought I was off from school a certain weekend. I set it up with Rue, I was gonna go, then I found out it wasn't that weekend. And then I found out it was that weekend, so I totally messed up the date and I did not get out there to see Roo. I was very, very disappointed. Very, very disappointed that I messed up the dates on it. So I hope one of these days I'm gonna make a trip and we'll get together. We have talked a few times, so, which is awesome, but I would love to get out there and visit in person. So it's on my list. Good question. Fast, yeah, fast keeps it loose. Hey, loose. Hey, Deborah, good to see you. Merry Christmas to you. Looks great. Ah, thanks. Yeah, this is like, this is like uber uber quick, like so quick that I have to start packing up. I don't even know how many minutes I've been on. At 11 minutes, so this is probably a quick 10-minute start. I'm gonna leave it at here and let it dry because I have to pack up and I gotta get out of here. I was, I was napping. I did a lot of housework and cleaning this morning, then I took a nap, so I meant to be on earlier. Um, but this is cool. It's a good start. Cameron's on. Hey Cameron, good to see you. I just saw your name on there. Cameron, good to see you. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for tuning in. I hope you have a merry, merry Christmas. There's a good chance I'll be on later tonight, but I can't promise. And I kind of want to come back and finish this later. I would almost bring it with me, but I think I will bring my sketchbook with me because I want to go hide off in a corner somewhere and do some sketching. People might think it's rude, but you know what? I love doing it. It's all good, guys. Take care, have a great day. Merry Christmas, happy holidays. I hope to see you real soon. Peace and joy and health to everybody. See you soon, take care.
