Tuesday Night Sketching

In this unscripted, live‑streamed session on February 17, 2026, Jason (Inkspired Life) walks viewers through a spontaneous evening of sketching. He begins by setting up his workspace, describing his preferred materials—140 lb cold‑pressed Fabriano watercolor paper, acrylics, gouache, creative markers, pens, and a foam brush—while explaining why each choice matters for texture and layering. He creates an abstract background using markers and acrylics, then lets it dry before adding architectural sketches from his recent visits to New York sites such as the Met’s American Wing, the Oculus, Grand Central, and ideas for Coney Island and the Pepsi sign. Throughout, he engages with chat, takes suggestions for colors and subjects, and shares personal anecdotes about Lunar New Year, his “metal dog” zodiac, a kindness moment at a donut shop, and his teaching philosophy of encouraging students to see architecture differently. He reflects on the symbolic meaning of the Oculus, the 9/11 memorial skylight, and the emotional impact of architecture. The stream ends around 9 p.m. after a final bold red outline, with Jason thanking the community and encouraging continued creative play.
Chapters
Hey, it's Tuesday, February 17, 2026. I'm Jason with the Inkspired Life, where I love sketching architecture or sketching anything. Just getting things out of my head onto paper, capturing the world around me on paper, brainstorming. It's all good. Sketching is an amazing, amazing tool that can help transform and do so many awesome things. So popping on tonight, 8:17 here p.m. i. I'm winging it. I usually come on here and wing it. Very rarely do I have a game plan of what I want to do, what I want to show, what I want to talk about. It's usually off the cuff, spur of the moment type of stuff. So that's exactly what we're getting. Unscripted, unrehearsed. I don't know what I'm doing. I have this sketchbook here which I've been working on, doing my 20 minutes a day, kind of abstract, loosey goosey stuff. I have my Lockpie Folio that I took with me to the city recently, do some sketching. So let's see. I'm not sure if I want to come here, add some color or we'll do some abstract stuff. Let me click some buttons here. I'm actually going to try to go live, not only on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram. I am going to. Yeah, I'm going to attempt a TikTok studio. I don't know if that's going to work. Well, let's see how that goes. All right, bear with me guys. Hope you're having a great, great. All right, cool. Let me just put some music on here. Right, awesome. So last time when we met, I think I worked on this kind of abstract. Really fun. I kind of like it. I call these sketch paintings because I'm not really painting, I'm not really sketching. It's like a hybrid. So we did a little abstract background and we kind of threw this, this cabin or fishing shack on top of it, which I think worked out really well. So that was, that was fun. So maybe what I'll do, maybe we'll multitask. I'm not going to be on, I can't be on past 9:00 clock p.m. so if I go that long, I'll be on till nine. So let's, let's kind of create an abstract background, maybe let it dry, hit the other book, add some color, do something in there and then we'll revisit this piece. That is the game plan. So let's open up a blank page. So I like to set creative intentions a lot of times when I'm about to sketch or do something artsy. Did I just say artsy? I don't think I've ever said artsy in my life. So my creative intention is just to be playful. I am just playing, throwing down stuff, Throwing down colors. That's kind of been the theme. Here's a collage. This is the first time I've ever did a collage, especially online. Anyway, I just open up a blank page and throw some colors down. I'm gonna work with what I have right here. So I have some acrylic paints. I literally just grabbing and going have some inks here. Hopefully I have my brush here. Otherwise I'm in trouble. I have paper towels here. So just give you a lay of the land. Here's what we got going. We have. I am sketching right now in a can. Nope, not canson. I always used to use cancer, but I switched to Fabriano 1264. 140 pound cold pressed watercolor paper. That's a mouthful. I like cold pressed paper because of the texture. And 140 pounds is because it's thick enough where I can just add all this layer and watercolor and ink and the paper will not buckle or tear. So that's why we're doing that. Paper towels, acrylic paints, pens, markers. Creative markers. I have here. I have some tea. I'm drinking some lemon ginger tea. And I have a foam brush here. All right. So I want to. I want to just throw down some color. And I think we're just going to start with some creative markers. I want this to dry pretty quickly. Again. No rhyme or reason. I'm just being totally random tonight. Just want to be playful. Just. I'm just clicking over here to. Let's see. Even no color. I think I just grabbed black. All right, let's to do it. Again. Random blocks of color on here. I want to cover this quicker so I'm going to. We're just going to throw some acrylic. This is actually gouache. I think. Now we're just creating an abstract background. I need another paper towel. I have another brush. Where is it? Oh yeah, it's back here. Kind of love just coming on live and not having a major game plan. It just kind of forces me to really think outside the box, which I kind of love. This is better. We can. It's kind of stuck in there. Let's throw down this one. There we go. Yeah, that foam brush holds. This foam brush holds tons and tons of water. Too much for what I want to do right now. That's why I switched to this brush. I have. And I still have some of this fluorescent red. I love, love, love this color. There we go. Oh, yeah, this is. This is the fun part, getting it on your hands. I'm wearing it. So cool. Hey, Jen, great to see you. Hope you're doing well. Chip, great to see you. Also. Hope you guys are doing great. So I am literally just throwing down a quick abstract background. I'm gonna let it dry, and then we're going to do more of an architectural sketch. So thanks for joining me in creative playground time here. I. I literally just went into the. Yeah, I went into the trash to pull out some scrap because I want to take this kind of card. And we're just gonna just do that to spread this out. There we go. All right, cool. Throw down a little more paint. Then we'll just throw this to the side. We'll let it dry for a bit, and this will become the background for a future sketch. On top of it. I am making such a mess. It is crazy. I need more yellow, though. Before we go anywhere, let's throw some yellow on. And I'm just seek. I'm just want to get some texture on there. All right, cool. Should I put this aside to dry? No, not yet. I just want to throw one more thing on here. I'm buffering. Thank you for telling me. Hopefully that's better. Let me know if the buffering is better. Yes. Happy Lunar New Year, everybody. Happy Lunar New Year. How cool is that? Some really fun celebrations going on. My friend Sifat did some cool streaming today in nyc. Check him out. NYC walking show. Yeah. I looked up my animal. I am. I am the metal dog. That is my year. Metal dog. And it. I read the description. I think it said something about being loyal and. Yeah, justice. Something like loyal and wanting to serve justice or something. I liked what it said. It kind of reminded me of Batman. And we all know I like Batman. I am not. I am not Batman for real. Or at least don't tell anybody. Cool. Thrace. Magnifique. It's working. Awesome. I know why it was buffering, so thank you so much. All right, this is cool. I like this color that just happened. This is going to be a fun one to come back and sketch over. Yeah. All right. We're going to let this dry so it doesn't become too muddy, but here's kind of what it's looking like, so we'll see where this takes us. I have no idea. Again, we're just experimenting. This month is about being playful and doing things I never really do. Like this kind of stuff. And I really like the way this one turned out. I think it goes like that, so who the heck knows? All right, we're gonna put it aside, let it dry. Going to put the heater on, so you're going to probably hear it go on in the background. All right, cool. All right, let that dry. We're going to. Let's take out my sketchbook. I want to add. I think I'm going to add some color or do a sketch. I don't know. Chip says I fall in love with rough paper. £140. Oh, 1404. It layers wonderfully and adds depth. Yeah, I totally agree with you, 101%. Hope you're doing well. My friends. Always good to see you. Zoom in. All right, so this was a fun sketch we did, I think last night of the Met building. I'm gonna play around with one of these sketches in here from when I went to the Met. Let's just do this one. Let's just throw down some fun colors. Maybe we'll play with some creative markers. Give some little bit of life to this sketch. So when I went to the Met, I read the rules and a lot of museums are very strict about what you can do inside or bring inside. And the Met apparently only allows graphite pencils for sketching, which I get and understand. So that's right there. I sketched in pencil, but I. I kind of. I just wasn't able to bring the bold lines out. I really wanted to. So let's kind of play around now. And we're gonna also play around this cool new fountain pen from Muji. Mu J I Muji. That's fun to say. Let's all say it together. One, two, three. Ready? Oh, where does it say Muji? Right there. M U J I Muji. One of my new favorite stores in nyc. Got this cool little pen there. I got a bunch of other pens. Got a cool little planner book thing that I'm looking for. My studio is trashed. Alright, so here's a good example. You guys can see what I'm starting with. Let's just kind of add to it and we'll. I'll kind of show you how I can just pull some shapes and things out of it. You know, just throwing this black ink on here is working. Hey, Gigi's in the house. Great to see you. Hope all's well. It's always great seeing my friends here. My chat Friends. Jen, I'm sorry, there's no be. No beeping here for you. You guys are so much fun in the chats and I always love the positive vibes. Thank you so much. And I'm super excited. Four more people to go to 1K. We're at nine. Nine, six. How cool is that? That is so, so stinking fun. I am watching the clock tonight, so 9 o' clock is the latest. I need. I can be on tonight. So cool. So now I'm just putting these lines on here. I like it. So this is a view inside the me inside the American. Wing. Wait, is that what it's called? Let's see. I have my map right here. All right, let's see. Where are we? We are sketching. I am sketching right here in the American wing. I got it. Right. American wing. Right in this area here. They have a whole facade of a colonial style house. Colonial style house in there, which is really cool. And this is a big atrium kind of space. Incredible kind of glass ceiling on here. This is just a real fraction of that space. Got to put some peeps here. So. Yes. Happy lunar new year, everybody. Awesome. We're going to break out some Sharpie creative markers and sip some tea here. Yes. Wishing good luck and prosperity. Oh, I see a beep. I see a beep. In the chat. You were too funny. Ninja moon. Jen's in ninja mode. I see a ninja icon. That's awesome. All right, we're just grabbing some markers here, guys. Feel free to give me some suggestions in the chat. What are some. What's something you'd like to see me sketch on a live stream? Maybe. Maybe a building in nyc? What kind of. Let me know. I'm up for suggestions. It's. Where is my favorite color? Oh, here it is. It's right here. Never leave home without. We need car sketches for Jen. Yes, we should do some car sketches. How about some taxis? We do some taxis. I'm making a list. I'm making a list, guys. Some cars, buses. I love that. That's so fun. Ice skating at Christmas and Rock Center. Ooh, yeah. Let's see. Yeah. Have my Rock center sketches back there behind me. But I have not done ice skating. Love that. So that would be fun. What color? I don't even know what color. I just picked up black. I thought I picked up red. Well, you know what? I picked it up, so I'm gonna use it. This is a cool lamp fixture. Light post fixture. That. There are a couple of them in this space, and I believe they were the original lamp posts that were outside the Met many, many years ago. Now they're inside here. Yeah, that would be fun. Ice skating. I have a chance to go sketching this Saturday at MoMA P. Oh, my gosh. PS1. Wait, is that a PlayStation 1? P1S. I don't know if it's P1S. PS1. I also have a printer at school. It's a bamboo. P1s. So I might be confusing my letters. I've never been there. I think it's in Long Island City. So I might be going maybe there Saturday to do some sketching. So that could be fun. What I'm more excited to actually do is walk past the Pepsi Cola sign because it's right down the road from there. I love the Pepsi Cola sign, and it is just. It is so cool. I got to see it for the first time this past summer. Yeah, I'm geeking out about a sign. I know. It's. It is just so dang amazing. That'd be something, actually. Maybe to sketch the Pepsi Cola sign. How cool would that be? So I already like this better. Right. Just popping these fun colors on here is. It's kind of taking us to a different level. Oops. I can cut the. Cut the top off a little bit. Oh, nice. Queens. Yeah. Is it. That's where it. That's where it is. Have any of you guys been to the moma p1s? Ps1. I've never been there. Probably would take the ferry. I like taking the ferry from 34th Street. I don't know if the ferry routes are all back up and running. I'm imagining they are with all the warm weather. Usually I'll take a ferry from 34th street into Long Island City. Get off by the Pepsi sign there. Oh, I just got green. Cool. So I do like the pencil lines underneath. I'm not going to cover them, so we'll keep some pencil on there. Got some green going. A mishmash of colors. I just want to say Mish Mosh. It's very fun to say if you all want to play along at home. Mish Mosh. Mish Mosh. Looking for a white gel pen. Here we are. Oh, the suitcase building. Suitcase building is the. Dang. I know what you're talking about. Not Samsonite. Oh, my gosh. I can't think of the name of the. Am I drawing a blank? Dang. That is cool. I love that. So I threw down some red, and then I threw some white gel pen on top. How cool does that look, right? Oh, My gosh. What is the name of the suitcase store? Not Armani. It's not Tiffany's. It's not Nike. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. It's that time of day where my brain is turned off. My factual brain's turned off, but my creative brain is turned on. It's hard for me explain at 8 o' clock at night anything that has to do with, like, memory as far as, like, facts go and things like that. That part of my brain turns off. The creative part kicks on. It's always on, but it kicks on even more. And I think that's from back in college when I was always up late just working on projects. You know, this is the zone time from now until. Well, in college, like from now until 1am Working our butts off. Yes. I could definitely sketch the suit. The suitcase building. Where's that purple? I love these brush tip markers. Right. It has a fine point, which is great for when do some fine lines. You could turn it sideways. And the tip is flexible. I'll just show you. I'll do it up here on the scrap paper. So I could do thin lines. Boom. Turn it sideways, do thicker lines, but the tip is flexible. It's like, almost like a foam, I guess. And you can kind of bend it. So I really. I kind of like it. It's a lot of variety. So if I can't carry a lot of pens or markers and stuff with me, I just love the flexibility of this. They might even call it a bullet point or brush tip it. Yeah, I'm liking it. I want to throw something else down on here in the background. I'm not sure what I want to throw in that background. I'm going to let you guys pick a color. What color should I throw down in the background here? We're going to. It's all white. You pick any color you see here, and we'll. I'll put it down on there. Or you can suggest a color. I'll let you know if I have it here in arm's reach. Let you guys help me work on this one together. Let's add some kind of color in here. I'll drink some tea. Oculus, yes. Louis Vuitton. Ten points for Gigi. It is the Louis Vuitton building. You got it. Coney island would be fun. How about, like, the roller coaster there? I did a sketch looking at my sketchbooks. I did a sketch of Hershey park, one of the roller coasters there. This would be funny if I can pull the sketchbook out. Let me give It a shot. All right. I don't know if it's in this one. We'll take a look. Grab one more. Which one could it be in? All right. All right. If memory serves me right, we're gonna do we now pause our sketching for some show and tell. All right. I don't know if the Hershey roller coaster thing is in one of these. I'm thinking it was a vertical, and it had spirals on it. So it's going to be in one of these two, I think. Although there are many other sketchbooks over there, but we're not going to go through them all. This was, like a cool abstract angel kind of thing I did. I don't think it's in this one. And next. Maybe it's this one. May not be in either of these. I'm really bad at labeling my sketchbooks and the years and stuff. This is cool. This. The sketchbook's from 2014. I like the colors on that. That's fun. Oh, yeah, I got it. I got 10 points. Ding, ding, ding. So this was a sketch inspired by Hershey Park, P.A. got the two stacks here from the factory. We have a roller coaster in the foreground. So I think we could do, like, Coney Island. Something like that would be cool. Grand Central. 100%. Yeah. I love sketching Grand Central. I would like to love to do a meetup at either Grand Central or St. Patrick's in the spring. A sketching meetup be great. So, yeah, this is cool. So maybe we could do, like, Coney island. And I like showing the structure of the kind of the roller coaster there. Thank you for bringing back some memories. I don't know what else is in here. 2016. Just random, random stuff. All right, cool. All right. Do we get a color in there? The Wonder Wheel. Ooh, that's fun. I missed any other comments? Sorry about that. Comfortable to use that pen. The marker. Yes. Oculus 100% Chinatown. Ooh, yeah. I did a. Have you guys seen my Chinatown inspired sketch? Where's Maddie when I need her? If Maddie, if you're out there watching. Do you remember that Chinatown sketch? Where the heck did I do it? It had the cat from the game. There's. There's a video game called Stray that stars like a cat, and I guess you're the cat in the game. I never played it, but one of the locations in the game is, like, a Chinatown kind of area, and I did a couple sketches based on that vibe. I'm just looking at my sketchbooks again. I don't I don't remember where I sketched that one. My friend Maddie would know if she was. If she's watching, she might know. Cool. Sorry, guys. I have. I am all over the place. Thanks for taking this journey with me. All right, I'm gonna. I need to throw a color back here, and we'll put this one aside. I. You're gonna think I'm insane, but I am going with chartreuse. Orange. Wait, whoa. No. I see orange in the chat. All right, we're gonna do orange. We're gonna do orange. And I have. I have an orange Crayola thingy here. Let's put some. Put some orange on. Is this a beautiful, incredible, amazing, perfect, I could sell it type of sketch? No. Does that make me upset? No, not at all. For me, imperfection is perfection. Just this time, playing, throwing stuff down on this page is all I just want to do tonight. So for me, it's a success. All right, we got some orange on there. Thank you for the suggestion. And of course, we need some fluorescent pink. What would life be without the pink? Oh, I love me some lemon ginger tea. I can't open this bottle. Just kidding. All right, let's throw some of this on here. This is called reflex Rose. Very amazing color. Let's throw some reflex rose on here. No. Is my bamboo brush ruined? I don't know what brand bamboo brush this is. I've had it so long, I need to find a replacement at some point. I like the color. I like the way pink looks on top of orange. We got some watermelon stairs. Who said you can't have watermelon stairs in your artwork? We got some watermelon stairs happening right there, right in front of your very eyes. No extra charge for that. Tonight, friends, I'm gonna throw the watermelon stairs in just for your kindness. Thank you for being kind and compassionate. I appreciate you all for that. All right, I'm just gonna throw one more thing on here, and we'll wrap this one up. I'll pull out the abstract thing. 8:55. I got five minutes left. Where's my red? Here we go. Let me try this. I might break out the red creative marker. So it was cool when I went to the city on Saturday. I may have told the story already. I stopped in my favorite Dough Donuts Rock center, and my friend Willie was there working behind the counter, and he remembered me. We've met a few times there already, and he is. He's awesome. It was Valentine's Day, so I said, happy Valentine's Day. And it was so cool. He told me something. He's like. He's like, I don't want to sound. I think it's a cheesy or corny. I don't want to sound cheesy, but it's Valentine's Day, and I just want to let you know, one of the things I love about seeing you is you have such high energy, such a positive vibe. The power of words is incredible, guys. I mean, it was so kind to him to say that, and I just. It was so. It was like a blessing to hear that. So don't underestimate. When you see people and talk to them, you could just say something simple and really make a huge impact on them on their day, because you don't know what kind of day they're having, what's going on in their lives. Just put kindness out there and don't put it out there to expect it to come back. Just do it from your heart. And I was blessed to be the recipient of that, and it felt just so dang good. So, guys, we can make a difference with. With what we do, with what we say. All right. That wasn't bold enough. We're gonna end this one bold. Yeah, I'm just gonna. There we go. I just want to end with some bold red lines there. I don't know when I started doing this, but I like outlining. I like outlining my sketches with red. And it is time for the squeak zone. If you hear squeaking in the background, Olivia is playing. By the way, check out. I made a video today. I did a little hike and mic. Mic like microphone video. Just where I walk and talk and just share what's on my brain. Check it out. I posted on YouTube and Instagram and Facebook, and Olivia makes a cameo in there. Cool. All right, this one's done. What brand of lemon ginger? Oh, yeah, that's. I have the tag in here. I think it's Twinings. No, Bigelow. I lied. This is Bigelow. It has probiotics. Look at that. Lemon ginger plus probiotics. Twinings makes awesome tea. Love the purple. You like the purple? Yeah. You know what, Jen? Just because you like the purple, don't say I don't. Don't ever say I. I didn't care about you. Ready? Here we go. We're going to throw some more purple on here for. This. Purple is just for you for being so kind. And you know what? I'm going to make something up. We're going to pretend there's a window Here. So we'll just show some. There's a window or something happening up there. Maybe another one. I can promise you guys, if you go to the Met in the American wing, you will not see this. You will not see this. All right, there we go. Close up. Beautiful. Oh, thank you. Let's see. Give love, expect nothing. I love that. That's awesome. We don't encourage each other enough. That is so true. I feel like you guys are very encouraging people, so thank you. And I. I feel it through. Through the chat. We need more of that. It's Chen. It's Chen's. Mouse out. I hope not. I will scream if I see a mouse. All right, put this one aside. Let's see how the background dried. Oh, it's at 9 o'. Clock. All right, we'll just pull it up for a look, and we'll wrap it up. See how it's drawing, guys, thank you so much. I'm so glad you tuned in. Here's our abstract background. I need more surface area here. How. How is this thing drying? Yikes. I. I don't even know what to do with this one. Who said the Oculus? I know I'm supposed to wrap at 9, but do. Do any of you guys see the Oculus? Oculus. Ish. Oculus. Ishness. Place. Face blue, wide eyes. Face orange. Biting nails at Gigi. That's so funny. It's, like, not. It's not showing emojis. It's like writing the words for them. You guys are silly. All right, I kind of see the Oculus happening. This is still wet. You guys know the Oculus has. We'll just sketch here. The Oculus has kind of the. Kind of the wings of the dove kind of happening there, right? So I'm actually seeing that here. With these lines, I could. After this dries, I might be able to turn this into somehow turn it into, like, the Oculus, but it is too wet to do that. Sketch the Oculus. Yes, I will. Yeah, I'm definitely gonna. I'm going to turn this into the Oculus. I see it here. I mean, I could sketch, if any. If you guys want to stay on for 10 more minutes, I'll sketch the Oculus. Otherwise, we could wrap it up and I could sketch it again another time. It's all good. We see. We see. Oh, I'm dropping stuff. I hope you guys had fun today. Did anybody celebrate the. Do anything special for the new year? For the lunar year? Yeah. I wish this was drier. Dang it. I'm gonna Pull up a picture of the Oculus. Oh, I. I said I'm gonna pull a picture of Oculus. You know, my wallpaper is on my Mac. It's the Oculus. Silly me. See, it's right here. Oh, you can't see that? It's right there on the screen. I'm so silly. You know, we're just gonna sketch with a blue Sharpie. Oculus is a super, super hard building for me to sketch, But we're gonna go. Go for a quick, little quick sketch, and I can use that as a model for what's. I've sketched the inside a bunch of times. I sketch the inside. When I go there, I usually stand kind of at the top looking inside the building. It. Oculus. O, c u l. Wait. O, c u l u s. Oculus. This is. Welcome to the spelling bee. That is not what I'm looking for. Where would I put in my search oculus? How about 911 memorial? I'm just searching on my photos to pull up some pictures about One World Trade. No, the Domino Sugar Refinery is not in that location. What the heck? Cool. So we got this kind of coming down like this. Boom. This kind of swoops out here a little bit. We got this kind of happening here. Boom. Got some kind of doors happening there as well. Got the street happening. These kind of come down, maybe make it into a perspective. Ish. We'll do that. Kind of like that. Boom. This kind of comes like this. And this really wraps around. This kind of wraps around. This is so hard to sketch. Boom. Like this. I'm looking at two different photos, and they're different angles, but it's starting to look like the Oculus. I think you can kind of see the shapes in it. Right. And then we have the glass. Have you guys. Have you guys been in the Oculus? It is. It is so surreal. Like, it's a surreal space to me. Just the scale of it and the vibes are just really. Kind of gives me goosebumps when I'm in there. All right, there we go. It's kind of Oculus ish, right? Nice one C. Oh, did I say O C U L, U S. Thank you for the letting me know. I knew something sounded wacko. Yeah, this is cool. I actually like it. All right, I'm gonna. Right here. Oculus. The one c. One c, o c u l u s n y c. Boom. Today is february 6th 17th, 17th, 021726. I kind of like this quick Oculus sketch. So the Oculus represents from what I've read a dove, almost a dove being released from someone's hands. So a dove represents. Or what is a dove a symbol of? Right. So a dove is a symbol of peace or hope. So it's really significant that a building that represents peace hope is located, you know, at the 9. At the 911 memorial location. Right. So that's one of the really cool things about architecture is when they can be symbols and represent a deeper meaning. This building is very sculptural. Some people hate it and some people love it. I am a fan. Yeah. Peace, right? It is. It reps peace 100%. So it's really a really symbolic building. I love this area. Definitely very solemn area around the memorial. I love sketching around here. St. Nicholas the Orthodox. Greek Orthodox Church is a beautiful jewel box of a building. You know. Right. Right here in this area. The Perlman Art center is a really interesting building as well. It's just a very cool. From an architectural point of view, really cool area. Of course. Monroe trade is awesome. Cool. Hey, Juanita, great to see you. As per Google. Oh, let's read the Google fact. Thank you for Googling. 335 foot long skylight allows natural light to flood the underground concourse. Specifically designed to let light pass through it. At 10:28am on September 11th. Making. Marking the time the North Tower collapsed. Isn't that poetic? Think about the care, the precision, the originality that it took for the designers to come up with that idea and to actually make it happen is 110% spectacular. I. I'm gonna have to make it a point to be there one day at that time and see this happen. I've seen pictures. I know I'm kind of geeking out and nerding out here and. Good. It's good to nerd out, right? I have goosebumps just talking about this. I'm so glad you put that fact on there. Yeah. Yeah. So these windows here. Wow. It's incredible. Yeah. I like. You know what? This is my favorite thing I did tonight. I'm so glad you guys pushed me and challenged me to do the Oculus. Thank you so much. This is the best thing I did tonight. I love it, love it, love it, love it. We'll mess around with our little background and see what we can create on that next time. You know, I love how this turned out when we did like our abstract background. Boom. That's fun. And who knows, who knows what will happen when we. I really think I'm actually know what I'm going to do. With this one, when it dries, I'm going to use a white Sharpie creative marker, and I am going to take the form of the Oculus. And we're going to. We're going to draw the. We're going to sketch the Oculus on top of this, using these. Right. As kind of a. That's what. That's what inspired this. So we use that as the base. How fun. What do you guys think? You have more respect for the designer now. That's awesome. That's awesome. Ggm. That's so cool to hear that. I think one of the things I just want to. I'd like to inspire in my architecture students or all of my students. I feel like I did my job as a teacher. At the end of the school year, if I can just get my students or even one student to see the world differently, in particular, the built, you know, architectural world differently. That's what it's about. That's what I'm hoping to. To do. And one year was so cool. I had a student, she came back over the summer. She came into my class, and she's like, Mr. Nick. Mr. Nick. She was so excited to tell me that she was. I forget what. Airport. She went to an airport, and she was describing the airport and how cool she thought it was, and she was, like, telling me, like, yeah, you know, you help me to, you know, see things differently. And I'm paraphrasing, but that's the connection I want to make, and hopefully I'm making that with you guys and spreading positivity through creativity. Thank you guys so much. I appreciate all in your positive comments. I had a nice comment. Gigi, thank you. About the video, my hike and mike video, and I. I took that to heart, so thank you. Yeah, it'll definitely stand out. Thank you, Juanita. Yeah. So I like that. So I will show you guys. I'm not going to do it live tonight because this has to dry, but maybe I'll save that for tomorrow night. We'll try the Oculus here, but I'm noticing. Right. Oculus Freedom. 9, 11. Red, white, blue. Right. So we kind of have some red, blue, white kind of going on on the page. So maybe we could work those colors somehow into this tomorrow and it could change. Maybe we won't do anything with. Is intense. Yeah. I'm crying. You look. Oh, you guys are making each other cry in the chat. Well, I hope you guys are good. I don't. I probably missed something in the chat, but I don't know what I missed. Are you crying because of 9 11? I hope everybody's okay in the chat. So I see the word crying and hopefully you're not sad. And if you are, hopefully we can, we all can cheer you up a little bit in the chat tonight. I appreciate also so much. As always, until we meet again, sketch, boldly, live creatively and inspire endlessly. Cheers, guys. We'll see you soon.
