In this YouTube Shorts video, Jason Nicholas urges viewers to be brave in their artwork. He demonstrates a bold sketching moment by listening to his intuition and throwing a vivid purple stroke onto his drawing. He frames the act as a courageous choice, admits it required a lot of guts, and tells the audience not to fear adding color. The core message is that bold mark‑making and vibrant hues, like purple, can unlock creative confidence, and viewers should "go for it" without hesitation.

But I'm gonna be brave. Don't be afraid, guys. Just sometimes you just gotta go for it. I'm getting brave here. Oh, shit. I was just kind of listening to my gut saying just throw down this purple. Throw it down, throw it down. Um, yeah. So that's kind of an example of just kind of sketching boldly is going for it. I have to admit it took a lot of courage to do that. To throw that purple down. So don't be afraid to add color.
