In this segment of his YouTube video, Jason Nicholas reflects on the personal significance of his well‑loved, well‑traveled sketchbook, urging viewers to preserve their own sketchbooks or loose‑sheet sketches. He acknowledges a viewer comment from Paul, then walks through a specific courtyard design project featured in the sketchbook—a space with stepped levels and a building that includes a square cut‑out. The design was inspired by a Miami‑based architecture firm called Architektonika, which he mentions may no longer be active. The tone is conversational and enthusiastic, emphasizing both the emotional attachment to the sketchbook and the creative process behind the architectural illustration.
