Hello, good morning from the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort, appropriately named. You see the big dolphin on the roof. Um, this was designed by my favorite architect of all time, or one of them, Michael Graves. And we have some transportation there that could bring you to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. And right across we have the companion hotel, the Swan. Big swan on the roof. Really nice area. So let's just walk around for a minute or so. I have my sketchbook with me today. I've got my Loughbee field journal as always, and I thought it'd be fun to walk around and do some sketching this morning before we head out to one of the parks. So let's take a walk. Um, yeah, right across, if you go look across the street over there, that's another resort area. That is the, um, oh boy, I believe that is the Beach Club. So yeah, the really beautiful day. It's really humid out. Early this morning, supposed to get up into the 90s, but that's okay. Right across the water you can see a really good shot of the Swan Hotel. Take a stop here. Really cool. What I love about these buildings is they're just, um, very whimsical, so they fit really well into the Disney language of architecture— fun and whimsy. You see the giant kind of, uh, seashells on the front that actually have fountains inside them. Um, I love the color palette here as well. It's just a really overall nice vibe and nice scale to this area for sure. We'll walk around a little bit more. I don't have a gimbal, so pardon the shaking of the camera. So yeah, it's really, really cool. I love the details of the building. You can see kind of round like portholes hearkening to the water theme that's going on here. Um, even the painting up here, right, has kind of those sea colors, kind of like waves. As well. And if we look across, you can see that the building— there's a nice bridge that connects as well. And there's the entrance to the Boardwalk Resort. Pretty cool space. Let me see, I am live. I'm not seeing comments, so— but if you're watching, thank you for watching. I appreciate it. I'll go back and Leave me any questions or comments you might have. Here's another cool detail. Just look at the ironwork on these balconies, right? They're not just straight up railings. So Michael Graves was really playful with his architecture, really into geometry and shapes, as you can see. You know, even this window here, this is kind of an arch window. Hallo. I could honestly spend an entire week just in this one area. I've been here so many times and I never get tired of it. But let's walk around kind of to the front, um, towards the entrance. I'll give you a peek of that as well. Kind of pan around, you can see And the bridge there, it looks like two ships. There's a good shot of the Swan getting closer to it. Alright, we're headed towards the main entrance, which is straight ahead. Kind of see that big seashell fountain happening. Over there. Really cool. I'm going to come here, pan around, and I'm going to wrap up. Have a busy day. I just wanted to pop on and say hello, and we'll just pan around once here, kind of see where I'm at. And I appreciate you guys watching. Thank you so much. If you like this, be sure to give it a thumbs up, share it, all that cool jazz. Alright guys, thank you so much. Have an amazing, amazing day.
