Hey, happy October 22nd. Hope you're doing well. It's 10:31pm here in New Jersey. I'm on real quickly, maybe five, ten minutes at the most. And I just wanted to wrap up this barn sketch that I started yesterday. So let's get to it. I have some colored pencils here. I even took out a Sharpie creative marker. And let's see, let's see where, where this stuff takes us in the next couple minutes. Let me know where you're watching from or if you have any questions or comments. Feel free to put them in the chat. Alright, let's do this. I know this might be crazy, but I'm gonna throw some red marker on here. I just feel like playing around with it. So I've been sketching barns the past few weeks and getting ready for my big workshop coming up on Saturday night via Zoom. It's gonna be really fun. If you're interested, there's a link on the top of the screen. I'm going to put one in the chat as well. There's still some spaces left, so I'd love to have you join us. Let's throw this down. I really like these Sharpie Creative markers a lot. I just like the way they go down on the paper. They're similar to other paint markers out there. What I like about these is that you don't have to shake them. You just uncap and go and they're ready for action. I'll zoom in so you can see a little bit closer what's happening. They're not totally opaque, which I like because I'll zoom in even closer because you can still see the Sharpie black lines underneath. And I like that it's not covering them. If I did a couple layers, it probably would cover the black lines. So these lend themselves really nicely to my style sketching. I don't want to cover up all that beautiful colors there. So we're just gonna kind of touch it here and there in places on the paper. Heck. Heck. You know what? Let's. I have more. Let's pre cut some more colors. Let's see. What do we got? Let's see. Do I have a yellow one? Let's see. I don't have yellow. Oh, this is the color I was looking for. Hold on. Do I have a green one? And that one? All right, cool. This is the color I was looking forward to doing on the roof. This is more like an aqua color here. Yeah, that's the color I meant to use. No worries. There we go. Maybe we'll work some of that in the shadows here. Cool. Right? Let me look at it. Where these barn doors are happening down at the bottom. Cool. And let's see some green maybe down here on the. We have some grass kind of here, some landscaping. And I just want to pull this door out a little bit more. So I'm just going around it with a Sharpie just to pull the shape out a little bit. Hey, Karen's in the house. Karen, great to see you. Hope all's well. Rich colors. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah, these are really fun colors. I'm having fun with these barn sketches, and a lot of the colors were inspired just by the fall colors happening here, especially the reds, the yellows, the oranges. So thank you for saying that. Awesome. And I'm super excited for the. The barn sketching workshop on Saturday. I think it's going to be really fun. We have a nice group of people. I think we have up to 12 right now, maybe 13, so it'll be really cool. So I'm just going to shade, and I like to shade in some of these rock areas or the rocks rather kind of black, just to make someone pop a little bit. Just going to do a couple here and there. I don't want to do too many. It would be overkill. So we're going to just be selective. And we have some down here on this wall. We'll just do some there as well. And I kind of lost this barn door, so I'm gonna pull this out with Sharpie. Karen, I love the artwork you've been posting. It is off the charts. Good. So amazing. All right, I'm gonna listen to this last song here, then I'll wrap up. I have school tomorrow. Yippee. I have school. Looking forward to. Awesome. Thank you. You're welcome. Yeah, I'm so glad you signed up. It's. It'll be fun. So you'll see some familiar faces and some new faces. So that's always a really cool thing. And I'm just throwing in some details here with the Sharpie just to show some shingles on the roof. Also, if you are. If you did sign up for the workshop and you're watching live or the repeat, I did send emails out tonight. I created a new community page for the workshop. So please check your emails and something. I'm trying something different. So I would love for you guys to visit the community page. And basically it's kind of our own little private, like, Facebook page where we can post things. I already posted the link to the Zoom on Saturday. There. I'll email it as well. But yeah, definitely check that out. And I'm looking forward to any feedback anybody might have about that community page. Alright. Last thing I want to do on here is I want to just pull out some of the roof lines here just to pop it from the page. And I could use a Sharpie. Use a lot of things. I can use my Sharpie here. I have a Tombow marker I can use here. And do I have a black? I have a black. Let's use a black Sharpie Creative marker. Karen said, I saw it. Awesome. Thank you. I'm so glad it went through. Hopefully it's not confusing. I did make a video as well, so hopefully that helps. All right, let's use this. Create this Sharpie Creative marker and pull out some lines. And then I have to go get some beauty rest. I have school tomorrow and it's a special day for me tomorrow. It is my birthday, so I want to get some beauty rest for my birthday tomorrow. So I don't wake up. I don't want to wake up looking a year older. Tomorrow I want to wake up looking a year younger. So I need a lot of beauty rest tonight. But you can see adding that black is just popping this out. I'm going to leave. I have a red outline there. I kind of like that. So we're just having fun. This is what this is about, guys. It's just having fun and getting your creativity on. And that's why I love the world of wonky sketching. Why it's whimsical, it's fun, it's loose. There are no wrong answers. And when you can have no wrong answers and you're sketching, life's good. Thank you, Karen. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. Life's good when you're not stressing about trying to get a right answer. When you're sketching, there is no right answer. It's just about having fun, throwing down some lines and creating some kind of architecture. So there you go. This one's a wrap for that one. So let's just take a quick look at the ones we sketched the past week or two weeks. We have this bad boy. I kind of. I like that. I like them all for different reasons. Zoom in. That one's cool. That might be my favorite. I don't know. Actually, maybe not. I mean, I like them all. I just love the vibrancy of this one. I actually like this one. This one, to me has the most character as far as, like, being weathered and aged. This this might be my fave. Let me zoom out. So there you go. There's some wonky barns. We'll be sketching something along these lines. Yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day today, wherever you are. My day is almost over. It's getting late. Turns out I do, too. Awesome. Yeah. Thank you. Right? This one has a really cool weather look to it. All right, guys, thank you so much for watching. I appreciate you all so much. Remember, use your creativity for positivity. Yeah. We need a little bit more of that out there right now. And I might pop on tomorrow night. We'll do maybe a little birthday sketching. Until then, guys, take care. Peace. And live creatively. I will see you real soon. Take care.
