Hey everyone. In this episode we're going to talk about how do you hire the perfect front desk and how do you put out a job ad? My good friend Jerry Durham actually shows us how. Check out this episode.
It's going to be generic, so go through and read other people's front desk posts that I like this a lot. If you guys are looking, go read another post and go, why should someone come into my business and interview with me? Well, if I tell you this job is about being on the phone, building relationships early on, setting up context for patient success, putting people on the schedule with the right providers versus all that other stuff we write and you're looking for the job, which one are you going to choose? By the way, here's the other cool thing. The people who don't want to do the sell shit ain't even going to apply. Two things happen. People opt out and they opt in. So, right, you're going to be on the phone, you're going to be responsible for putting people on the schedule to start their journey. I've literally written job posts like this. You are going to literally start people on their journey with success at ABC physiotherapy, right? And you write it out that way. That is completely different than customer service skills, right? Works well with others tasks, you know, all that stuff, right? So that Daryl. So, and then the customer service one is right, Greeting people, working with money, right? Helping to assist team members for pay. So I would take that same thing I wrote in the sales one and shift it over to this is what I like and Kate and Evan's examples, perfect example of this. If I understand the steps and what I need people to do at each of these roles, I can write out a way better ad and job description. So when you think about Evan talking about that handoff, I'm going to talk about how important your role is to keeping people on a schedule and to now that they're here, making sure they come back that they're successful in their journey. The voice is gonna say to start their journey.
