Tim Frey and a speaker challenge the idea that scaling requires huge teams. They compare a business with 60-80 employees to one with three people that makes the same profit, questioning why founders chase headcount instead of actual take-home money.
I used to believe the only way to scale was with teams. And the further and further into business I get, the less and less convinced. I mean, it's just not for me. I know that there are other ways to do it that don't require that.
There are a couple of businesses in our network that have 60, 80 team members. We make the same take home profit like success goal versus their business and we have three team members. It's pretty crazy when you really like, get down to brass tacks and get away from ego numbers and revenue. What is actually required to be successful?
