Tim Frey charged $100 a week at his gym and it worked, but it was wrong for his market. His lesson: stop forcing sales when your price doesn't match your customers' reality. Pick a business model that fits the people you're selling to.

This is going to sound so obvious. I used to have a group training gym and we used to charge $100 a week. That is a crazy amount of money for group training. And we crushed. But people were pushed to their financial limit because I charged $100 a week. It was not the right fit for the audience we had or where it was. I could have had such a simple life if I just charge what the market would pay for group training. I had a sales team to sell a gym membership. Like, how crazy is that? If you want to be successful, you have to match the offer you've got with the demographic or audience you're trying to sell to. And if it doesn't work out to be this CR crazy business where you make millions of dollars, it's just not the vehicle for it.
