Our mentors, the people who are ahead of us, people that we look to, they don't skip the identity work. And I think this is a really powerful point that gets overlooked a lot in business. Most people underestimate how much your identity changes as your business grows. The version of you to get to that seven figure business is going to have to be wildly different from the person that's sitting here right now. You have to have a different level of resilience, you have to have a different level of courage. You have to have a different set of skills to be able to do that. And you need to step in into that person. If you step into it before you hit the goal, you will hit the goal much faster.
If you want to be a seven figure entrepreneur and you're acting like someone that has a job, you're definitely not going to be there because there's different identities, different thoughts, patterns, beliefs, actions, et cetera. So people have a really good BS meter. And I know a lot of people have these grand visions of being a seven figure entrepreneur, but their actions and the way they look and the way they present is just not showing up as that. Therefore, you will never reach it because you'll never pass someone's BS meter because you don't even believe your own BS meter on that.
