He emphasizes that early failure and poor performance are normal, feedback from coaches is not a personal judgment, and one must accept the learning roller-coaster as part of the process.

You don't come out of the womb being an ads and marketing expert. Like there is no way you can be good at it without going through the process. We had someone come up and they showed their ads and they weren't great and they weren't converting, they were very expensive or I pointed out why it wasn't going to work. They had a little bit of a tears about it and I kind of was just thinking to myself, what's the tears about? What's the meltdown about? You're going to be shit at sales, you're going to be shit at marketing, you're going to be shit at writing content, you're going to be shit at coaching, you're going to be shit at tax, you're going to be shit at everything. Nothing prepares you for this. You're on the roller coaster and you just strap it in. You just have to accept that this is part of the process. If you get feedback from a coach, it means nothing about you personally. It's just a part of the process and you just need to strap in for that ride.
