The majority of individuals reaching out to me, asking me for my advice weren't those that suffered with substance use disorder. It was their family members.
Sometimes the family members, the ones that love these people so much, and they're the ones that are suffering. This is Jason Coombs, and he's the founder of Brick House Recovery, best selling author of Unhooked, and a man whose personal journey through addiction and recovery fuels the transformative way he's doing work for individuals and families all over the country. When and how did you realize? I. I'm very passionate about this. This is something that I can do that will make this impact. And I think that the money's going to take care of itself because it's so successful.
When I was in graduate school, I was about two years sober and I went back to school to pursue this message. Like I had discovered my purpose. I was like, okay, I am an expert in one thing, and that is to help people with addiction. The false belief is that you have to have been there and have an addiction and have overcome it in order to be able to understand and to help someone with an addiction get over it. That's faulty. That's faul.
It's funny when we come full circle and you go to Russell and you say, dude, will this work for me? And he's like, this is people. This is just persuasion. This is helping people get what they want. And then all we have to do at the end of that is transact. Maybe talk to us a little bit about how you are taking the marketing and the funnel side to drive business to the brick and mortar locations.
What I have ultimately discovered is that.
