All right, welcome Everybody, to the ClickFunnels coaching corner. My name is Rob Schwartz. If you don't know me yet, you will soon. So I wanted to, I wanted to ask out there, who is running webinars? Is anybody there running webinars?
Yes.
I can't see the comments. So maybe you're saying yes or maybe you're saying no. I don't know. Uh, let's check it out. Check it out. Let me see in the comments. If you're running webinars. If you are, let me know in the chat. But how important are they? How, how, how important are webinars to your offers, to getting people to trust you, to getting people into your brand? I think they're extremely important. And some of the things that we've been doing recently are helping our clients run the perfect webinars. And it's not talking about the structure of it, and it's not talking about, you know, how the webinar is produced or the script or the copy. We help with that too. But right now, what we've been helping with is just putting the webinar funnel together. Some people just don't know what to do for a webinar funnel. And it's funny, I was helping someone this week, I was talking to a coaching client this week and they were like, yeah, we just ran a webinar. We had a really good, really good show up rate, really good take rate. And I said, okay, great. So when you sending out, when you're sending out the email for the replays. And he said, we're not. I was like, what? I was like, what are you doing? Why aren't you sending out the replay? He's like, because it was live and I don't know where to host it. So that just opened up my eyes. And I was like, oh, man, people need to know about this. And I brought it back to the team. And I was like, guys, what do we think? What are we doing about webinars? How can we teach people different strategies around webinars that they might not be using? And they had some really good ideas. And that'll be my segue into what we've come up with. I'm really excited to share the strategies that they have had. I don't think you've seen them yet. And if you have, it's just a good reminder to do these things. So I'm going to bring up to the stage David and Tyson, who you met last week.
Hello.
How are we doing?
Doing great.
How are you doing?
Doing awesome. Okay. So that was my intro to what we are going to be doing today, and I'm going to let these guys take it over. So I'm going to hop in the background.
All right, what's up, guys? How you doing?
Hope everyone's doing good out there. You all ready to kick this thing off?
We got the master chef of webinar funnels here, David. He is coming at you live with.
Something pretty cool, quite high praise.
I mean, you came up with some pretty. A unique workaround for something that we were working on maybe really, I don't know, earlier this week. And I never thought to. I don't know, never thought that this would be a solution for the unique challenge we run into, which was, I guess, monitoring who was watching the replays, who's coming back for live replays. And, yeah, I don't know. David's brain is a wonderful thing. So here we are. David's gonna walk us through something pretty amazing. Yeah.
Well, guys out there, how many of you are doing webinars, and how many of you have ran into some questions and some. Some struggles, wondering how to do a few things? Well, we're going to be covering a couple of tips and tricks and structure on. On how it goes and some ways that you can improve your conversions. Okay. How many of you are excited about that?
Right?
Conversions are always a good thing. So let me go ahead and share my screen. Let's see here.
Okay.
All right, so here we go. Okay. Can you see that, Tyson? It's loading.
It's loading.
There we go.
It's getting there. Okay, cool. We're live.
All right, so in this episode of Coaching Corner, what we're going to be going over is webinar funnels. How do they work, where to do the webinar itself, and tips and tricks. These are questions that we commonly get as funnel builders. One of the most common questions is, where do I do the webinar? Do I do it inside of clickfunnels? Do I do it in zoom? And the answer is yes.
Just yes across the board. There's so many different answers to this, Right?
There's lots of different streaming platforms. You can do it in lots of different ways. We're going to cover two of those ways today. One mainly, but we'll mention the other one as well, too. Okay, beautiful.
So just to clarify, we're focusing specifically on the broadcast page, right?
Yes. Beautiful.
Awesome.
Okay. Because there's so much to. So much to it process and, like, the best practices. We can't cover everything in this video today. But we actually plan on covering more of those best practices in the future episodes. Okay. So we can kind of string stream this out a little bit.
I love it. Heck, yeah.
So let's cover quickly the structure overview of a webinar funnel. So it starts off with a registration page, and then it goes to a waiting room page, and then there is the broadcast page. Now that is either existing inside of your clickfunnels funnel, or you're doing the webinar outside of clickfunnels, like on Zoom or Streamyard or, you know, gotowebinar, whatever you want, whatever kind of platform that you want. All right, so that's either on or off of clickfunnels. And then after that, inside the funnel, you have your back end order page and then your thank you page. Okay. That's as simple as. As it. As it is. You can make it a little more complicated if you want, but I recommend not to. Beautiful. All right, so let's talk about one of the things that we run into, and especially us here lately on the clickfunnels team that we've been doing to increase our conversions as far as webinars go in the sign up and who's determining who shows up and who didn't. Right. So there is a cool thing that we can do. We'll actually show you on this video how to. And this is the free version.
Right.
The. The other option is to use Zoom and the paid version to do webinars.
Okay.
But if you're a little bit tight on budget right now, we'll show you a free version that you broadcast into the broadcast the clickfunnels broadcast page. Okay. Very cool. On this video, I feel like it's.
The biggest gatekeep for a lot of people or just getting started.
Yeah.
I know there's a decent price attached to say like a Zoom webinar or something. So, yeah, it's cool to have like another option out there. Like in this case, we're walking.
Yeah. I don't know if we want $90. It's like $90 a month just to have webinar capability on Zoom.
Yeah. Which makes sense long term. But if you're just getting started, it's kind of a. It's kind of a barrier. So, yeah, we're gonna walk through something for free today, which is gonna be fun. Yeah.
All right, let me pull down. Let me pull in another page here. So right now I'll show you how and where to schedule your stream on YouTube. And then that way you can grab the link and Put it into your broadcast page in your funnel. Okay?
Yes, sir.
So let's do that. One sec. Okay, I'm going to stop that screen and stream.
Oh, I thought it was all on one screen. You. Window by window.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay, here we go. So in your clickfunnel. Sorry, in your YouTube studio, you're gonna go to create and you're gonna go live now. You're gonna come down to manage and schedule stream. Okay, this is showing you. Here's a past stream that you've done before. Would you like to use the same settings or would you like to use the same settings from one of these other streams? Okay, we're going to go create new for now, and we're going to go how to do something awesome without pain. What? Okay, cool.
All right.
How do you want to go live? If you want to go live directly into YouTube, then just select webcam or. Or if you were using a streaming software like Obs or streamyard, that's probably not going to be the case for this one because you don't really need it to go to other platforms. We're just going to be doing it here on YouTube and then broadcasting it into the ClickFunnels page. So we're going to select webcam. Okay. Always upload a thumbnail and then. Let's see. That's it. Okay, next, next. And visibility. This one has to be unlisted. And click.
Done.
Oh, schedule.
We can come back. We can readjust it.
Yeah, it's scheduled for one minute from now.
Okay.
All right, Edit the schedule. There we go. All right, Thursdays at around 7pm everyone's time is a decent option. Okay, there we go. So just you can get your. Your video and your audio settings set up there and then you can get into where.
Here we go.
The share and then grab your YouTube link.
We did that in like maybe three minutes.
Yep. You're ready to go from there. Okay, now you're going to go over to back to your funnel.
To manage all those screens you got over there on that big, giant monitor, huh?
Yeah, yeah, I'm excited about it. All right, so don't be confused by both of my faces here. I'll explain why we got two of them in a second.
Oh, in the funnel.
Got it? Yes, got. Okay, here we go. So one of these elements is an image element and the other is a video. We're going to go ahead and paste the YouTube future stream link there. Okay. Whenever you go live, that video will be actually showing your stream live. Okay. Now, like we mentioned, One of the cool things that you can do to increase your conversions is to figure out who showed up versus who didn't. And that's a little difficult in clickfunnels if you just use a viewed the page trigger. So we figured out a better way to do it, which would be to use an opt in trigger, which is essentially like it feels like it's registering for the webinar whenever they view the page. Okay. So we're going to show you how to set an opt in on the broadcast page so you know for sure who's attending. All right. And then that can trigger as many workflows and automations as you want. How cool is that? Right?
Very nice.
Next. This can either be done. Sorry, yeah, this can either be done by a same page submit or you can have it on like redirect to the, to the actual broadcast page, like to the next page. Okay.
So if you do it like, okay, the page before leading to the broadcast page itself.
Yes.
Or the replay page. Got it.
So if you do it by next page, then that first page would be like a webinar viewing or broadcast opt in page. Okay. But I want to show you a super cool trick on how you can do a same page submit using an awesome tool that is called barnumpt. You may or may not have heard it by now, but it is basically the best building tool out there.
Oh man. The internal apps are awesome. Yeah. Where you can add to pages.
Yes.
Now banner this new one you're gonna show us.
I will preface this. This is a, a code from the In Editor toolkit that is on the. On the paid plan of Barn and pt. Okay. It's not very much month. It's definitely one of those important business investments that I would recommend that you get. Okay. But again, if money's tight, then just go with the next page option.
Okay, Easy.
So let me show you what it looks like. Whenever you come to this page, we're actually going to hide the video and we're going to hide this button here that says hide this button. Okay. The function for this button is to close the pop up. I'll explain why in just a second. But whenever they land on this page, all they're going to see is this image element. And I'll show you a cool thing on, on that here in a second. But here's the functionality. They land on it. They click. You're going to say something like, the webinar is in progress. Enter your info below to watch the webinar. Watch the live training. Click to watch the video. Then it brings up the actual video. It does a show hide action. It hides the image and it shows the video element. Then you can start watching the video. How cool is that? That's pretty awesome.
That was almost too smooth.
I don't think people caught that one.
Yeah, so basically you just, you have all the elements on the same page. People are. In order to actually view the video though, or the stream, they have to click on it, opt in. And when they do that, then it will reveal the actual video itself.
Yes. Which is pretty cool.
I mean, you wouldn't even know what's happening.
Yeah. So this actually increases the reliability of your. Of the data, of the stats of who showed up on the page versus having to rely on two different pages and their view stats. And also it's basically instant. You saw how fast that was as opposed to maybe a three or four second transition from one page to another.
There's no reload. There's nothing like that on that same page, which is nice.
All we're doing is we don't want to get too much into too much of the code because we can't give away the code. It is a paid code. And also clickfunnels. We can't provide any support on custom CSS itself. Okay. But we can give you just like an outline of how this works. And then you can also go out there and use, you can try and use like Claude or one of the AIs to help you tweak.
Just get barn.
Mpt.
Save yourself the trouble. You don't have to relearn any of this. Just go grab it.
Exactly.
And try it out. It's a good time.
All right. So yeah, as we, as we enter the, as we enter the code into the footer, the base code from Barnum PT does not know that it needs to click the. The button here. Okay. The close button. So what we did for that was down here.
Before you show the code, show them how to actually add this to the page. If you're using Barnum, if you've never seen it before, like.
Here and apps and it's over here. Same page submit.
There we go.
So this way is very super simple. Okay. There's actually instructions right here to help you out. So just read that. They're showing exactly what I'll show you here. And then you're going to select the button that is the actual submit button. Okay. So that means you have to have the pop up open like that and then we're just going to select that button right There. Okay. And then into action we're going to do a show hide and show element and hide element. Which ones are these? And so what we need to do is we're going to come up here to the code section for the image and, and we're going to name this Hide me. It doesn't have to be exactly this. It can be whatever you want. It can be cupcakes, just don't forget it. So whatever you need to know to hide that image, then get that there. And then for the video it's going to be show me or you know, popcorn, whatever you want or popcorn.
Okay. All right. As descriptive as possible.
Hopefully as descriptive as possible. Okay. And then you just enter that in here. So this would be show me. Just like that. And this will be hide me. But make sure that the capitalizations are exactly how you have it on the elements themselves. Okay. All right. I'm not going to do it because it's already installed and then it would mess it up. So from there you go to hide the things that you want to hide, like the video. Okay. All right. Next you need to add a button on the page that's is assigned to close the pop up. Oh wait, before I get to this, on the image, click on link action or URL. Okay. And if there's nothing in there, it will pop up as an option right there.
If you, if you click in it, make sure if it's empty, click it and it should show. Yeah, drop down.
Cool. That opens up the pop up. So we pretty much got the majority of it taken care of from there. Next, we just needed a way to close the pop up whenever the submit button function happened. I added a close pop up button on the page. And then I just asked an AI, I said, hey, here's what this element looks like. I copied the element, I pasted it in there. And then the AI said okay, cool. What we can do is we can add a function to search the page after the submit button is clicked and then it will find the button on the page and click it.
Yeah.
So that means it functions even if it's hidden. Okay. How cool is that?
Just that.
And now you're ready.
Now just so like when you add barnumpt or you go through that process of using the internal code or the app there, where does the code actually go? Probably show that. So like when you use the actual app, it automatically adds the code to.
Your page in the footer.
There you go.
Okay.
Just in case anybody's looking for it.
Yes. By the way, to get Barnum PT go to barnum pt.com and that's it. Cool.
Boom.
There you go. Highly recommend that you get it at least try it out for free. But the paid version is definitely worth it. Okay, cool.
I mean, okay, so there's that. Now we have the hidden button or we have the button hidden. We have it saved. And so right now we have the functionality we're looking for.
Yes.
You're saying as well for the bottom PT extension, like you just took the code that I gave you in the footer code there, right? Yeah, copy that. Took it over to Claude or ChatGPT and said, I also want to make it. So when this runs or someone submits on a page that we also close the pop up. That's it.
That's all you do. It calculated itself and came up with that.
You probably just gave it the button ID or something, right?
Yes.
For the hide button.
Let me show you that part. What I did was came here and you go to do the inspector. All right. If you don't know, you can right click and click Inspect, or you can click F12 on your keyboard. Grab the little element selector right here and click on that. And then just simply click right click here and click Copy element. And then you can go paste that in and it will, it'll have all the necessary information. There we go. Yeah. All right. I think one more thing that we wanted to show was a way to get a GIF with a, A, a Play button on it.
Okay.
Yeah. So what I did was a, I recorded a little snippet from one of our videos, the actual webinar. So like, once you get the webinar done and recorded, then you can just record like, you know, the opening 15 seconds of it. And then you can go over to Canva and import that video and export it as a gif. Okay. And then you can also search there in their little templates, their elements for a Play button, and just add it to it. So let me, let me pull this up.
It's nice to use Canva. I usually go, I do the workaround like Easy GIF or something, but it doesn't have the Play button. I like that.
I think we're going. All I did was record a little video and I added it here. And then you just simply go, There's a play button. If you don't know how to find that, you can go over to Elements and just search for Play button and you can find. Pick the one that you want paid for Canva. Canva Premium is also one of those highly recommended business expenses, it's only like 12amonth. So for what you get, it's. It's amazingly worth it. And then download the video as a gif. Boom. There you go. Make sure it's only that one. And click download.
Okay.
And then the page treats it as an image so you can upload it to your image gallery. Cool.
Which is nice. Classicals like that too. I'm glad they brought that over.
Yeah, that's it, my friends.
Oh, you're not sharing.
Yeah, I know. Yeah, that's okay. You've seen it enough. Let me actually. Yeah, good point. Let me share the final closing thoughts here. Okay. Right there. There we go. Okay. So, yeah, the image gallery treats it as an image, a gif. Okay. So you can upload the GIF there and it'll actually play automatically on the page. So up here at the top you can say something like webinar training in progress. Click to join. Okay. Something like that. All right. So was that helpful to you? I hope it was. It's a super cool trick. Let's.
Let's do a little recap. Let's. Let's put a cherry on top just to make sure we went from A to Z. Everybody, everybody knows exactly what we did. Yeah, just make sure. I understand. And, and we'll, we'll walk through it that way. I don't know if that's okay with you.
Sounds good.
So for anybody that's looking to do a webinar, doesn't want to pay for anything and just wants to get the ball rolling. YouTube. You can use YouTube for free. You can get it set up in less than three minutes. I think David did it in less than three minutes easily. You can take that embed link for the live that you're doing, bring it over to clickfunnels and add it to a HTML element. Like you're just embedding it on a page. And from there, I mean, he's doing it two ways. The way we demonstrated today or that you demonstrated was using a GIF as like an overlay in a sense. Like you're using a GIF and when someone clicks on it, it opens the pop up for them to opt in on. When they opt in, it get rid, get hides the gif shows the actual video and now they're watching it live right there and enjoying it. Yeah. The whole purpose of this is to make it easy to track. You mentioned before, you could do like page view as a trigger for say, a workflow or something, but it's not Always. I feel like it doesn't. It's hard to know exactly who's viewing. It's hard to know exactly where the stats lie. And so this little trick kind of helps solidify what you're looking at. And the data is like accurate. It's actually there, you know, what you're actually seeing. So. Yeah. Okay, very cool.
And so one thing that we are doing and that we would recommend that you do as well too, is to have a workflow for those that registered but did not attend. And again, this is one of those ways to really iron out who was there or not.
Okay, very nice. Yeah.
And you can do that based on tag whenever they opt in.
I love it, man. This makes it so simple. If you guys have any questions around this, just reach out to us@outreach.com.
Yes.
And maybe on a call set up something similar for you. That's perfectly fine. We're. I don't know. That was a fun one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's a lot to this, to this topic. You know, in the future episodes, we'll go over more details on like best practices and funnel setup if you would like. So let us know.
Yeah.
The iceberg.
I mean, David figured this out for what? I don't know. You guys were talking about this earlier this week. Was it this week or last week that you figured this out, David?
Last week. Last week.
Okay, there we go. So pretty cool. It's actually something in use right now.
It was. I mean, when I first saw this, I was like, this is awesome. Like I don't have to send them from one page to the next where it could break in between or something might happen. Like you literally are showing them exactly what they're going to watch. They click on the play button as like a decoy and then they throw their email in just because it's right there. And then you know who was there watching the thing or who wanted to. And if you're sending out a replay to an email list after, it's really hard to know who's coming in from those emails or social media or wherever and knowing who watched the video. This is a really awesome way to collect the emails of exactly who watched the video and then send those automations after webinar attended webinar. Watch whatever you want to do. This was really awesome. And this is the type of stuff that you'll get when you join a call with these guys, when you join strategy sessions and things like that. But it's so awesome. This is the type of things that we'll be teaching on, on these calls and the coaching corners, it's, it's less about the product, more strategy on how to get higher conversions, higher opt in rates, get better leads, better data and what to do with it. So thank you guys. David Tyson, that was awesome. I was in the background watching the whole time, kind of orchestrating the screen sharing and. But it was so cool. I just had to have him show it today. It was, I love it. Okay, well, that is our time today.
Can I give, can I give a little, like, heads up to what we might be talking about next week?
Sure.
Oh, I mean, I don't know if people will be interested. I'm not sure. So next week, you know.
So just.
Piggybacking on the webinar flow, I mean, instead of talking about broadcasts, I was thinking that it'd be nice to know how to set up a structure to follow up with people systematically based off of when your event is actually going to happen. And that all kind of conspires or I guess starts with a little app inside the platform called Countdown Events or Countdown Funnels rather. And so figure we could break it down, walk through how to use it, set it up on your end and make it as easy as possible to get up and running.
Yeah, absolutely. And again, if you guys have any questions, comments, things that you want to see, strategies that you're curious about, drop us an email at outreach at clickfunnels. Com. This is for you, by you. So thank you so much.
Thanks for joining everyone.
Thanks guys.
Appreciate you being here.
See you next week.
We hope it's helpful. Bye for now.
Later.
