Foreign. Looks like we are live and ready to go. Welcome in everyone. Very happy to have everyone here. Thanks for being on time. I appreciate it. Welcome to another training Tuesday. I'm looking forward to today's topic because it's the beginning of actually a two week training really. So I'll get into that in just a moment. But let me go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Aaron. I'm a brand media specialist here at Click Funnels and and I'm going to go ahead and walk you through training Tuesday today. So what I want to talk about is something that may seem a little cut and dry, but it's honestly, it's incredibly important to the process of customer relationships. So good marketers make sales but great marketers, sorry, great marketers create loyal customers. So it's very important to of course get our sales but it's more important to create a loyal customer and bring them back. So they love the brand. So you want to make sure that you're fulfilling all of their orders. So that's what I really want to look at today is just going to be post purchase email automations. Now, ClickFunnels has a system that's set up that allows for automatic emails to be sent whenever someone purchases something from your funnel or your storefront. And it does this to just ensure that you're set up for success. So I want to take a look at what ClickFunnels does on the automation side of things and we're. And what they send and maybe how we can make some adjustments to just make them a little bit better. So let's go ahead and jump into the platform here. I'm going to go ahead and share my screen. Here we go. All right. And I realize my overlay is probably on the wrong side, so let's go ahead and move myself over to the other side here. Now, I am here in the actual platform and what I want to bring your attention to is the workspace settings in the bottom left corner. If you can see that, I'm going to go ahead and tap that and this is going to bring up of course, all of our workspace settings. There's a ton here and a lot of people will say, where are the emails that get automatically sent out when someone makes a purchase or signs up for one of my courses, so on and so forth. And so they start looking around and they see the email settings tab and they look in here and go, well, I can't find it here. Same with email templates. They come in and they go, well, there's some templates here, but it's actually under this system Emails tab. So first and foremost, just want to bring your attention. The System Emails tab is where you find all of your automated emails. That's set up the moment you create your account. Now, when you're in here, you can see that there are several different system emails, right? So we have affiliate emails, we have courses, orders, community and appointments. And so it's basically ensuring that whatever you are offering your customer, whether it's an affiliate opportunity, whether you are getting them into a course and they're signing up for that, whether they're just placing an order for a physical or digital product, whether they're joining a community, right, or maybe rescheduling an appointment, canceling an appointment, things like that. We have system emails in check, of course, to just make sure that these are going to go out and ensure customer success. Now, if I look at it, I can see, right, if I get a new affiliate, they're going to get a new welcome email approved, email, commissions earned, so on and so forth. I'm going to jump over to the orders very quickly here though, because we can see that there are seven emails. And so when someone comes to our funnel and they say, I really want this offer, they're going to order it. And what's going to happen is they're immediately sent this confirmation email. So you don't have to set that up, it's automatically going to send. And then of course, these so on and so forth as they go through the journey. Now I'm going to go ahead and tap on one of these and I can customize them. So I'm going to take a look at that in a second. But if you tap on any of these, the first thing I want to bring attention to is the subject line. So these are all generic out of the gate. So I would recommend first and foremost, you, you have your funnel set up, you have your product inside of it, you're selling it. Have you taken a look at your system emails to really understand after someone purchases what is their experience? So they're going to get an email right out of the bat that says thank you for your order. Is there any branding you might want to do to that? Is there anything more that you want to add in addition? So just something to think about there. Right. Currently you can see I am in the Workout with Me workspace here. And so that is our brand that we're working with. So, you know, if I got an email, thank you for your order, maybe I wanted to just Say my brand name at the beginning. That way it's directly associated. So I'll go ahead and save that. And right off the bat, I've already made a pretty simple change. Now when someone gets an email confirmation after they order, boom, they immediately get that workout with me. Thank you for your order. Now, I jumped into the editor here and this is exactly what the system emails look like. You can see that they're pretty generic, but there's HTML code in here to ensure that it's dynamic, right? Because if someone buys any product in your store, it needs to translate directly to that product in the confirmation email. So this is already set up for you and you can make some tweaks and changes to this. But there's one single thing that I really want to look at is, and it's branding, right? As I was talking out at the very top, good marketers make sales, but great marketers make branding that you want to go back to. So I always like to add branding to all of these emails. So the first thing I do when I create a brand new workspace, I got a new business, I set up my store, I got my funnel. Now I want to create branding for these confirmation emails. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to show you how to bring a simple image in here. And now I have this image element. I'll just browse here. And here's my logo. So I'm just going to go ahead and insert that in and it's huge. So we definitely want to make some changes to that. Let's see, I want to turn off the auto width here. I'm going to shrink that down, let's say 15%. Looks good. It's just a nice header logo. And you can make additional changes if you want. But right off the bat, if I just hit publish and exit, just to make my save, save there and then I'll go back into it, I can immediately see my email is significantly better because I've added branding to it. So that is really what I wanted to show you today is system emails. Because I feel like so many people are just not aware of them or if they are aware of them, they don't know how to edit them or make changes to them or brand them. So really important to just understand that now there are other things that you could add to this. A good rule of thumb, a few things. I always like to add what happens next sections, especially if they're joining a community, give them a little tidbit, right? Maybe they're enrolled into your course and you just want to give them some extra details on how to access it beyond the system email. So it's good to ask clarity. So customers are really never asking what do I do next? Right, Right. Another thing to add in is support contact information. So this is just a really good rule of thumb to at least add it in somewhere. I personally like to add it into the footer down here. So I would create a footer, probably replace the powered by clickfunnels admittedly, but add the footer in and then add the support contact info so that way people know where to get support before they potentially have an issue. And then the last thing I like to add in a footer is the legal and compliance stuff. Right. That's of course just building trust if they see that all built into this email. So a logo, a footer and you are already 10 steps ahead of where you were with the beginning system email. A few notes, things potentially you don't want to add, right? Hard upsells first and foremost, I always tell people don't upsell in an email confirmation. Right. You've already done that through the funnel or through your shop. So you don't want to do that. You don't want long marketing copy, right. You don't want paragraphs. It's really just focused on hey, I made this purchase whether it's physical digital and I want to get the information that is directly related to that, not maybe something separate. And then you don't want multiple CTAs, you want a single CTA if possible, but you never want to guide them in multiple directions and never last urgency language, just keep that out of the email as well. So with all that, these really just reduce any sort of undeliverability. Of course people are going to open these up first and foremost the most. So filling this in with clarity, giving a really clear cta, adding a logo, adding branding, that's all very, very important. Now I want to frame next week as well. I want to take this even a little step further. What I'm going to do is show you guys how to build a simple email automation so that way we can check in with our customers after a set period so that they're noticed and taken care of. I just realized I wasn't full screen there, so I apologize. But that is training Tuesday for today. Again a little bit more of an informational thing and how to add the branding there. But next week we're going to be going over simple automations. So of course after this, let us know. Leave a comment on this video if you're watching. Let us know what you guys want to see because we're always checking the comments. And we'll continue to cater training Tuesdays to exactly what the audience wants to see. So with all that being said, I want to say thank you for attending today's training Tuesday, and we'll see you next Tuesday. Thanks again, everyone.
