Day 4: Shocking results already - Measurable progress

Tony Stark Policci is four days into a wellbeing experiment and already feels noticeably better mentally and physically. He credits 30 minutes of morning sunlight while barefoot, scripture study, and journaling. He had only one brief frustration episode despite heavy stress, and says discipline matters more than motivation.

All right, here we are, day 4, the end of day 4. I made a promise that I wasn't— to myself— that I wasn't going to do another video so late because I was kind of a blabbering idiot last night, and I'm pretty close to being too late again. So, um, let's see if we can do that earlier tomorrow. But here's the quick report. Today was a day where I actually felt a measurable difference, so I did not sleep significantly longer than I normally sleep, but I woke up feeling better mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically. And the only thing that has— well, not the only thing, but a couple things that I added that were consistent in the last 2 days was the morning sunlight and the grounding. I did that again this morning for 30 minutes out in the sun, walking barefoot with my shoes off in the grass and listening to a teaching. So I combined, you know, getting the sunlight in, grounding, educating myself in like the scripture study. So great stuff. I also added journaling this morning. When I came back in, I journaled and I started writing down how I had been feeling because at throughout different periods of this experiment that I'm doing. I want to be able to look back and see my progress, see if there actually is progress. And I've already stated that there seems to be progress already this morning. So, a couple of other things. The reactionary feelings that I've had were minimal today. I think there was one time where something happened and I was like, ugh, experienced that brief, you know, second or two of frustration. So that was awesome. And level of stress, regardless of the amount of work and everything that was on my plate, felt so manageable today. It was fantastic. So that's great. Looking forward to seeing what I can do tomorrow and what other things I will be adding. But this being very intentional, being very self-aware, being consistent with what I'm doing is making a difference. Now I do want to confess that I, for a very brief, maybe 10 to 15 seconds tonight, I was like, I'm tired, I don't want to make another video, I'll just do it tomorrow. And that is the kind of like quarter you can you cannot allow yourself to make little excuses, right? Discipline is doing many times what you hate as if you love it, and consistency requires commitment and intention. So I'm committed to this entire process no matter what happens, and I know things are going to come along that really want to derail me. I don't know what they are yet, but something will come. That's just the nature of the beast, and I'm committed to continuing. So thanks for following me on this journey, those of you that are, and I will talk to you tomorrow, God willing.
