The fun and correct way to use Nasal Spray for allergies.

Nasacort nasal spray, now over-the-counter, works once daily for allergies. Prime it first, insert straight into your nostril, aim outward or upward, spray gently, then sniff without inhaling deeply. Use for about two months max since it's a steroid, and expect full effect within a week.

Hi there! Are you tired of those boring medical videos explaining how to use Nasacort? Well, this one won't be boring. So, this stuff, rrrr, rrrr, rrrr, Nasacort, it's now available over the counter. That's cool because it used to require a prescription. And what it's for is for allergies. Now, the great thing about this stuff is that you use it once a day and you're It works for 24 hours. Now, if you're under 12 years of age, you still use it once a day, but you use half as much. If you're 13 and older, you use it once a day, but you use twice as much. Now, what does that mean? So, 1 spray in each nostril if you're 12 or younger, 2 sprays in each nostril if you're over 12. All right, unless of course your doctor tells you to use it differently, which may not happen because since it's available over the counter, lots of people are buying this stuff without even asking their doctors. So, how does it work? Well, if you've never used it before, or if you haven't used it for more than 2 weeks, you gotta prime it by pressing down on this until you see that fine mist go up. All right, now, to use it, you place it in your nostril, and don't tilt your head forward like this, And don't tilt your head back like this, no, no, no. You just want to keep it nice and straight. And either press it toward the outside of your nostril, away from the center line, or up towards the back. And you go, pssh, pssh. I've already used it today, so I'm not going to double dose. And once you spray it in, you repeat or do a nice little sniff, like, not pfff. Oh no, you don't want to do that, because then you're going to suck it down your throat, and then it's going to run down your throat, and it's not going to work. It needs to stay up in here, in your nasal passages, okay? Then you repeat. You put it in this side, press out or towards the back, either one, and pssssht. Nice gentle sniff, and you're done. Oh, what else is important? Wipe this off with a tissue or something after you're done using it. I guess I should probably do that even though I didn't use it. I demonstrated it by sticking it in my nostril, so I'm gonna have to clean that off afterwards. And that's pretty much it. Now, if you have a Costco membership or a Sam's Club membership, You can get this there much more expensive— much more inexpensively than you can in other places like Walgreens, Sav-On, whatever your local drugstores are. So, I hope that was helpful, I hope you enjoyed the video, I hope you weren't bored, and I hope your allergies feel better by using this. One last thing, this is only meant to be used for a couple months at a time. Because this is a steroid medication, you don't want to be using it on a regular basis. So if you have severe allergies, you may want to talk to your doctor about what else can, you can use. But this is really typically something you're going to use during the worst seasons for some relief. Once a day, lasts for 24 hours, may take a week to start working, so don't freak out if you use it the first time and you don't feel any relief. Sometimes it has to build up in your system, but you don't want to use it for more than about 2 months according to manufacturer's recommendations. Alright, that's it. Hey, God bless you, happy breathing.
