A brand's real value comes from customers who buy repeatedly and feel satisfied, not from logos or website redesigns. Kevin O'Leary agrees: deliver customer value first, visual branding second.

I want to talk about what does it take to build a brand. People come to me all the time saying, oh, I have a brand. You can't build a brand. Your customers build the brand. They're the ones that gift you the value and the equity of a brand. So what does that mean? It means they try your product or service, they like it, they buy it again.
He's got a point. You know what's kind of interesting about this whole concept of brand building? I see a lot of people out there that are really great visual creators. Graphic designers, video editors. Kevin O'Leary's speaking some truth here in the sense that the visual components of a brand, the branding, actually has very, very little to do with the actual brand equity, meaning how people perceive your brand. If you're focusing right now as a business owner trying to spend a lot of money on maybe doing a brand new logo design, brand new website overhaul, really focusing on the visual representation of your brand or your product, or service, it's a dangerous place to be because it has little to nothing to do with actual brand building. It's all about providing the value to your customer. So Kevin O'Leary, you're my guy. Couldn't agree more with this post.
