Sell a cheap product at $27-$97 where ad costs break even, then upsell 20% of buyers to higher-ticket offers for profit. Once you hit break-even at scale, profits follow without extra ad spend.

I always heard my grandpa tell me growing up that, hey, money doesn't grow on trees. You know what? It doesn't grow on trees, so that's an actual statement. But guess what? You can build a money machine that actually is better than money growing on trees, and here's how it works. It's called creating a self-funding funnel. And ultimately, the premise behind this idea is that you create a low-ticket offer known as a tripwire that you can sell for $27, $17, $47, $97, you name it, that will create quick and easy conversions and purchases to people at scale. What you wanna do here is you're actually not trying to make money with those purchases. You want your customer acquisition cost, the money that you spend on the ads to actually acquire your customers, equal the total revenue that you generate as a result of this front-end purchase, this tripwire. Now doing so at scale is going to create what we call a very, very large mousetrap. And your business now becomes a numbers game. You know that for every 1,000 people that you can get to purchase your tripwire offer, you might get 20% of those individuals to purchase another product for you. And here's the genius: if you haven't really spent any money out of pocket to acquire those 1,000 people, because you would have generated the exact same amount of money on the front-end purchase as you did on the ads, so you broke even, then every single dollar that you make in perpetuity is gravy. This is how you can create a money machine. So before you start thinking about how to make millions and millions and millions of dollars, think about how you can break even. And if you can break even and you can do so at scale, the money's going to follow.
