Instead of pushing prospects to buy, tell them why they probably aren't a fit. The speaker argues this reverse psychology makes qualified buyers want your product more and filters out time-wasters before they waste yours.
I'm going to challenge you on this one. Don't use a call to action. Use a call to dismissal. Tell them why they probably wouldn't be a good fit. Forcing people to self-qualify. They're actually going to be selling themselves on your product or service more than by you simply trying to sell them on it yourself. It's a little bit backwards, but by calling out exactly who your product isn't for and why they wouldn't actually qualify for that, you're automatically making your product more attractive to the right buyer. Stop begging people to take action. Make them prove they belong.
