So you're getting ready to go to the gym and you put on a pair of freshly washed gym clothes only to realize there's a weird smell following you around. And you decide to go ahead and just take a whiff of your shirt. Like, it shouldn't stink, you just did laundry, but you take a whiff anyways and you recognize, oh no, it's me. I'm the problem. It's me. It's me. Hi. Like, you are clearly the one that smells bad. And unfortunately, if you're an athlete or an active person that sweats a lot and really gets into their workouts, you've probably had this happen before. And that's because odor from sweaty workouts is really hard to get out of gym clothes. And honestly, personally, I've tried so many different types of sport detergent washes that really haven't been that great. They're also really expensive and hard to find. So about 6 months ago, I decided to try something completely different that's smooth and sleek and eco-friendly and also was hopefully going to help my gym clothes smell better. So what was this mystical product I decided to try? Well, they were Hey Sunday's laundry detergent sheets. Yes, laundry sheets. Not liquid, but sheets. And like I said, I started trying these sheets out about 6 months ago, so I've been using them for 6 months, and I've had no issue with a lot of sweaty odor coming from my clothes or any of that. And I've had some pretty grimy, sweaty, sandy workouts, especially with us just finishing up summertime. Like, I've really put these sheets to the test. But it's not just Hey Sunday's laundry sheets' ability to eliminate odor that really makes me bought in to to what they're about. There are several other things that I love about their product that I want to share with you guys in case you're interested in switching over from liquid detergent to laundry sheets like Hey Sundays anytime soon. Really quick, before I do that, I just want to show you guys how I use them because a lot of people are confused about how to use laundry sheets. So just to clarify that, so since I have a top-loading laundry machine, I go ahead and put these laundry sheets in first, then I go ahead and put my laundry on top of that. I customize the amount of sheets that I put in based on how much laundry I have going in. So depending on if it's a small, medium, or large size load, it'll be 1, 2, or 3 sheets. And that's pretty much that. Super simple. Okay, but here are some other reasons why I've fallen in love with Hey Sunday's laundry detergent sheets and that I think you guys will too. Number 1, they are eco-friendly. The packaging that these laundry sheets come in is plastic-free, biodegradable, and compostable. And this is very much unlike the liquid detergent brands that have these large polyethylene plastic jugs that end up in landfills. So you can smell great and help the environment too. Another thing I love is because they are sheets and not liquid, they don't make a mess. I mean, I don't get the whole design of these liquid jugs with the little cap on top and you take the cap off and you fill it and then you have to put it back on afterwards, but then all these drips of detergent are coming down and getting all over the counter and your hands and then you're like, well, this is just gross. So with Hey Sunday's laundry sheets, you have none of that. It's super easy. You just grab one of the sheets, throw 'em in, and you have no residue on your hands. Speaking of grabbing one of the sheets, like I mentioned when I was showing you how I do my top-loading laundry machine and with all, you know, putting those in and the clothes and all that, you have customizable dosage. So you can choose whether you have 1, 2, or 3 sheets, or I guess if you want more than that, but the company really recommends up to 3 if you have a large load. 1 is for small load, 2 is for medium-sized load. So obviously you can tailor that as you need to. Another thing I love about these detergent sheets is that they smell incredible. And yes, they do have a fragrance-free version. So if you are concerned about that or if you are a fragrance-free household for whatever reason, they have those options, but they also have scented sheets and they smell so good. I literally, when I get the package in from the mail for my subscription, I sometimes just keep them right next to my desk for a little bit until I have to use them because it's like an air freshener. It smells so good. I don't have to worry about what the scent is, if it's synthetic or not, because it's made with natural oils. So I'm not worried about like all the chemicals that are involved in that. And by chemicals, I mean like synthetic fragrance chemicals. Obviously everything has chemicals, but we're we're talking about natural oils. Speaking of natural oils, there's also fewer synthetic ingredients overall. These sheets are plant-based and non-toxic, so there's less chance of irritation to the skin. Another thing that I've come to love about these laundry sheets that I did not think about, I guess, initially was that they are so easy to travel with. I had a 2-week trip to Italy earlier this year, and you know, in Italy it's not very easy to do laundry. There's not a lot of places to do that. So I was able to hand wash my clothes easily and dissolve these sheets in water and use it that way. And then when I could access a laundry machine, I was able to just easily bring those along in a Ziploc bag to the laundromat and pop those in. So it was great for traveling as well. So if you are a traveler, whether you're an athletic person sweating in your clothes or not while you're traveling, just traveling period, these are going to be great sheets to use. Super easy to pack with you and take up such little space. And yes, of course they take up little space in your suitcase, but they also take up little space while you are storing them in your laundry room because you don't have this giant jug that is somewhere on a counter taking up all this real estate. This is just a tiny little sleek envelope. And personally, I like to take out the little laundry sheet packets that are bound together, and I keep them in this little kind of drawer that I have in my laundry room, so they stack up in there easily, and it's really easy to just pull a few sheets out, drop them in, close the drawer. The only negative I found so far with these sheets is that they don't pretreat stains well. You can't really use them in that way. So you'll still need to have like whatever Shout spray or, you know, other pretreating sprays that you may use for really set-in stains or, you know, stains that are really difficult to get out. So that would be the only thing I would say is a negative I found so far. But overall, going back to my original point, I can absolutely say that these sheets work amazingly well for my sweaty clothes and then have all these other benefits on top of it, which is great. But I do still know how frustrating and embarrassing it can be to put on freshly washed clothes and realize that you still stink even after you've washed it.
