In this YouTube review, chronic‑neck‑pain sufferor Victoria Dorsano evaluates the SKG PS700 kneading neck massager. She begins by sharing her year‑long struggle with neck pain, her use of PT, dry needling, and the SKG G7 Pro EMS/TENS device, establishing why she’s interested in a new solution. She discloses that SKG provided the PS700 for review but emphasizes that all opinions are her own. Dorsano contrasts the PS700’s physical kneading mechanism with the G7 Pro’s electrical stimulation, describing the PS700’s C‑shaped rotating nodes, 360° motion, and targeted reach into the semispinalis and splenius muscles. She details the integrated heat and light system—830 nm near‑infrared, 640 nm red LEDs, and an FPC heat film that warms in about three seconds—explaining how deep‑penetrating heat augments relaxation. The reviewer highlights the hands‑free design, the gentler, non‑adjustable intensity (suitable for most users but not for those seeking aggressive pressure), and the SKG Health app that controls heat, massage mode, and audio. The audio subsystem, built in partnership with EarMersion, offers spatial sound at ~45 dB, over 100 built‑in tracks, guided meditations, and Bluetooth connectivity, with an auto‑shutoff after 15 minutes. Dorsano positions the PS700 as an ideal, low‑intensity “mini‑spa” gift for friends, family, or fathers, especially for users who cannot use EMS/TENS devices. She encourages viewers to comment on their own experiences, like and subscribe, and provides a link in the description. The video blends personal narrative, technical specifications, user‑experience insights, and gifting recommendations.

If you've been around my channel for a while, then you know I've been dealing with some chronic neck pain for the last year or so. I've been in PT, I've tried lots of devices, I've done dry needling, and certain things like the SKG G7 Pro has become part of my daily routine to really help with the nerve pain. So when SKG reached out about their kneading massager, I was super excited because like I said, the G7 Pro has been such a game changer for me. So I was very pumped about the kneading massager. So this will be my honest take on if the PS700 from SKG delivers and who it's actually best suited for. And just a quick heads up for transparency purposes, SKG They did provide me this in exchange for a review. However, all opinions remain my own. If you have never had to deal with chronic neck pain, then consider yourself very, very lucky. So here's something I've learned about chronic neck pain in the past year of having to deal with it, that not every day is the same, and therefore not every day is going to call for the same type of treatment to help resolve that neck pain. Some days I've really thrived with my electrical stimulation from the G7 Pro from SKG, especially when my nerve pain starts to flare up. Other days I'm just feeling a lot of tension and tightness and pulling in my neck, and I feel like I just need something to dig into it. My sweet husband Chris, of course, helps when he can. However, when he's not around, I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do. So like I said, when SKG reached out about their kneading massager, I was like, oh yay, this is great actually. So the main difference between these two neck massagers or neck devices from SKG comes down to the mechanism. The G7 Pro works electrically. It signals to your nerves and your muscles to interrupt pain and cause contractions. It's a little bit more clinical and targeted. The PS700 is more physical kneading, but not like a standard massage kneading device. Where it's really different is its massage head design. The nodes are designed to mimic a C-like curve, similar to what it feels like to have a hand gripping and massaging your shoulders and neck. And the motion pattern is this lifting and pressing action that is designed to bypass the surface muscles and reach deeper into the tissue, specifically the semispinalis and the splenius muscles, which sit behind the trapezius. Targeting those particular areas is where people tend to find a lot of relief. Now, in typical SKG fashion, they've of course thought of adding a heat component as well, because when you getting your neck massaged, of course, typically done by a human. Human hands typically are warm, so to mimic that, they've included infrared technology in the device itself. To be specific, there's 830 nanometer wavelength near infrared and then 28 red light points at 640 nanometers in wavelength and an FPC heat film. All this allows the device to heat up in about 3 seconds. The near infrared in particular penetrates deeper than just like surface heat, which is why the combination of having the kneading heads with the near infrared light feels more effective than just one or the other, and therefore allowing the nervous system to shift more into a restful state. So combining that with the physical massage and then the heat, you're really addressing relaxation from multiple points. All right, so let's talk about my personal experience and what it's like to actually use the PS700. So the 360° rotating nodes actually are able to press into my neck and shoulder area without pulling the skin and making it kind of uncomfortable. Now, with a lot of other neck massagers, you really have to pull on the support straps to get the appropriate amount of tension. With this device, you really do not have to like use your hands at all. So it truly is hands-free. You can get a good amount of tension relief from just wearing it around your neck without having to pull down on the straps. From an intensity perspective, it's a little gentler than I expected overall, just because you cannot modify the intensity. But this is coming from somebody who likes, like, really intense massages, so take that with a grain of salt, because for your average person, this is probably going to feel perfect. For example, for everyday tension and just winding down, it's It's the perfect level of like relaxing tension. But if you need very aggressive pressure, then this probably isn't for you. Now my experience with the heat is similar to other SKG devices. It genuinely does get very warm very fast, which again makes that combination of the kneading and the warmth just feel so, so nice and relaxing. And if you don't want the heat at all, you can control everything through the SKG Health app, similar to their other devices. So you can modify the heat level, you can modify the massage mode, and even the music selection. All very easy to navigate. Speaking about modifying the music, I wanna talk about the audio system really quickly because I think what they did with this device is so, so cool. SKG actually partnered with a company called EarMersion, which is a spatial audio company. The music and meditations run at 45 decibels. The refreshing scent of soil from the forest. So pretty quiet overall, but the way it's built in feels like almost an internal surround sound where for you it's loud enough, but for anybody sitting next to you, they can't really hear it that much, which is great for, again, if you have a partner sitting next to you or if you're in a public setting. There's over 100 different built-in tracks, including some nice soundscapes that are really relaxing, some different guided meditations that help you focus on your breathing. Plus you can even hook up your own Bluetooth and listen to audiobooks or your own music or podcasts. So this could definitely be something that can help like lull you to sleep if you wanted to put like a sleep track on or a sleep meditation. Sleep track. And then wear this, and then there's an auto shut off at the 15-minute mark, so you don't have to worry about it continuing on when you fall asleep. So it's just an overall really cool experience and a neck and shoulders massager. So I think the PS700 is actually perfect, perfect, perfect for gifting to like friends and family because it's a little less intense than its, you know, sister companion, the SKG G7 Pro with the EMS and TENS. This one is a little bit, again, more gentle but just as effective with releasing tension. It's really relaxing. It's just a whole kind of like mini spa day experience. Perfect for gifting to friends and family. Whereas we're approaching Father's Day again, like a perfect gift for your dad or father-like figure in your life, especially for folks who again don't want the intensity of TENS and EMS, or maybe who can't use the G7 Pro due to like a medical implant or some other contraindication. Link for the PS700 is down below in the description if you're interested in checking it out. And if you're already using the G7 Pro and want something that's a compliment to that, again, it's so useful to have around and it makes a great pairing. So overall, another great device by SKG, much different than the other two I've tried with the TENS and EMS, but this one is still great and makes a great, great gift for friends and family that you're looking to help with their wellness and relaxation. So have you tried something like the SKG P700? Have you tried maybe the G7 Pro or one of their other devices? Love to hear your experience down below, or how you might apply something like this in your own day-to-day relaxation practice.
