Short YouTube clip (Vince Reed) offering practical negotiation advice for large deals: don’t be vague about price or give numbers just to close a deal; provide realistic, deliverable numbers; avoid negotiating down on cost; and be able to project the value you offer.
What I will tell you, whenever you're negotiating deals or you're meeting with people and it's big deals, like multi million dollar deals, what I find interesting is no one ever wants to say a price. Nobody wants to like. They're constantly like, so what would you charge for this? And then what is what are you what's your, you know, cost per customer acquisition? Well, it depends. And everyone's really vague. And I don't know if I quite have the answer. The only thing I can tell you is.
Never just say anything to get the deal. You know, make sure that the numbers that you provide for them are things that you can actually deliver on. And it is what you what it is. And don't really negotiate on cost.
Be able to project the amount of value that you offer.
