I want to make sure I address something really important, and that's the list building aspect of business. Because it's something that, like, most people just aren't talking about in digital marketing anymore. Like, when I came in, it was all about list building. Right? So to keep it simple, let's just say you're generating 100 leads a day. Okay? Right. And let's. Let's keep the math really simple. Let's just say it's a dollar a lead, okay? So you would get 100 leads. Actually, let me reverse that. Let's say you're getting 100 leads a month. Okay. Because it'll get crazy. Okay? Just keep it simple. Wait, do I want to do 100 leads a month or 100 leads a day? Let me think about this. Let's do 100 leads a day. Okay? 100 leads. Because I want them to see it from a big perspective. Sure. You get 100 leads a day, and let's just say it's a dollar a lead. So over. Over 30 days, that'd be 3,000 leads. Okay, you would have spent $3,000. Right? A dollar a lead. Right. Month two, same thing. Hundred leads a day, A dollar lead, you would have spent $3,000. Got another 3,000 leads that month. Right now you've got 6,000 leads. Now, granted, we're just saying people didn't opt out or whatever. Yeah, but your list grew, but you still spent 3,000. Right? All right, now the way you want to look at your list in your leads is that your leads have a lifetime value of $1 per month. So now we're in month two, we spent $3000 in both months. We have 6000 leads. Okay? We should be making it minimum 6000amonth if the value of every lead is a dollar. Right? So now you go to month three, spend $3,000, you get another 3,000 leads. Now you have 9,000 leads. The value of your list is now $9,000, but you still spent 3,000. And just imagine this process building on top of each other, right? So in 20, 20, 12 months, you now have a list of 36,000 people. The way most people think about that is one, they don't understand the value of their asset and they're not thinking, how do I create a list that are full of my ideal customer? And more importantly, how do I put my offer in front of them? Meaning how do I create a process where every single day the lead is seeing something like this, hey, remember, you had this problem. It's costing you this. My thing is the Solution. Book a call here to fix it or buy this thing to fix it. That's an offer. How many people are saying, how do I build a list that's growing and consistently create a process that's putting an offer in front of them? So we're making more money because when the person sees the ad. Yeah, they're already, they're not going to click unless they have that problem. So now they click and they're just taken to the webinar immediately. They opt in to continue watching. And now our ad that we run to every lead is basically making more offers right. Now if I'm watching this, the question is, okay, well, leads are expensive. And that would go back to what we were talking about earlier. It's how you define a lead in your mind. I define a lead as a person that's expressed interest. Right? Right. So it could be a social media follower, it could be an opt in subscriber. But my favorite lead is a watch time lead. And a watch time lead I define as a person that's watched 50% or more of a two minute or longer video. Okay. And I come up with this, I came up with this definition just looking at commercials. That makes sense. Right? So you know, for example, the Super Bowl. Right. Kanye spent his 7 million on the super bowl ad, right? Yeah.
This gay. And this is my commercial. And since we spent all the money on the commercial spot, we actually didn't spend any money on the actual commercial. But the idea is I want you to go to yeezy.com y e e z y.com and I'm going write it at the bottom of the screen and I got some shoes and.
That'S it.
And it was like a simple ad too. Simple ad. And he spent like $0 on the production. Right. But this will give you an example of why I believe watch time is so important. Right. So if Kanye's willing to pay $7 million on a super bowl ad and we can run ads and target our ideal client with the right message and send them right to the video. And we have software that builds a retargeting list of everybody that presses play, even if they don't opt in to continue watching. Right. And our pop, let's say it's five to seven minutes into the video, which is well longer than a 30 second commercial. Yep. Okay. I'm building a list and getting a lead whether they opt in or not. So you can stay in front of them. Right. So we're talking about the 79% that opt in. Yes. I Put ads in front of them, book a call with our team, buy our product. But the people that press play, I put a ad in front of them to watch the webinar and to watch the entire thing. So I'm constantly putting my leads, whether they opted in or not, in front of an offer. That's all I'm focused on. That's why we're making more money. Yeah. All right, so you've got email lists as a lead, subscribers, you've got the Watch time lead. We talked about social media. So those are three different types of lead types. Social media followers, subscribers. I call that a level one lead. Opt in subscriber. That's a level two. Watch time lead is a level three. And then the best lead you can get is a buyer. Buyer leads. Right. It's essentially where Jeff Bezos lives, Amazon. Right. They don't have to go find new buyers. They can just target the people that already bought from the site. That's like very difficult to. Yeah, you say that's like. That's like the ultimate goal. Yeah, ultimate. Right. Okay. Is to be able to literally just market to your existing customer and that's always going to be the best. Right, Right. So we are, as a company, and when I say we, we here at EBU are focused on those four, but more specifically the level three type of lead, which is the watch time lead.
