What's going on guys? We are live. So hopefully you guys have refreshed the page and let's see. It's morning, I guess I'm alright. I don't have too much sleep in my eyes. So what's going on guys?
We're gonna have a great time today. We've got a lot of powerful, amazing speakers today and what we like to do the first hour, we call it the Roundtable. We've got a lot of leaders just popping in and out. If you guys don't mind, if you guys can just post on Facebook. Hey, we're already live refresh so make sure everyone knows. I know there were some people last time. I'm gonna go ahead and post now. We are live.
On super. Actually said it below underneath the Facebook comments. But that's all right.
Vince cut out on me now. You good? Good?
Yeah, I'm good.
All right. So super Saturday special too guys. This is awesome. Like I see we've got about 110 people streaming live and that's pretty good for a Saturday morning. So hopefully by the time we get going Here the next 15 minutes we'll have a packed house. So you know, one of the things I like to do is on the roundtable is just bring in some leaders and you know, obviously Vincent's here early, he's going to be crushing it in about an hour. But I like to bring on a lot of the leaders in the industry and I'm sure these guys are going to be guys that are going to be sharing and speaking here soon, sharing the strategies. And I wanted to start off with Jerry because Jerry is an individual who I've seen online for a while. I've seen him putting videos out there, putting content out, really leading. I'm starting to actually see some of his Facebook ads out there and he's definitely just taking that next step in his business. And I just wanted to bring you on anyone that I've been in the industry for a long time now, since 2008. So whenever I see someone that's kind of still here, you know, and has made it through that I guess that 90 day or one year curse and I think we lost him. We lost him. He'll pop back in. But anyways, anytime I see someone, you know, that can go and withstand and be in the industry that long, I always, you know, want to say what is their secret? Like what is it that you know, keeps your back awesome. That keeps someone, you know in the industry and excited and as passionate about the industry today as he was when we got started. So, Jerry, I just wanted you to come out and just tell a quick bit about your story and some of the things that you've done that's helped you get some results online.
It's amazing. Can you hear me now?
I can't hear you.
Can you hear me now? You can't hear me?
Yeah, you're good.
All right, Very good. I apologize. I was trying to do something on my computer and then all of a sudden I lost you guys. But I'm glad to be back and more than ever, I'm humbled. Of course. Vince, thank you so much for the invitation. I really appreciate that. It's really great to be amongst some other great leaders in the industry. And it's funny, man. I was just with Vince, Vince Ortega, my good friend actually, in Phoenix. So we had a blast, right? That was awesome.
So I'm sorry I missed the introduction, but I figured you really just asked me pretty much what I've been doing online or just a little bit about my background. Is that what you said, Vince?
That's it, brother.
Okay. Thanks, man. Well, you know what keeps me excited about the industry is really is it's always changing and it's always about being an entrepreneur. That's always been my passion. As a matter of fact, I'm married, I have two kids, I have a dog that's barking right now in the backyard.
People need to realize that the Internet world is. I work full time. I actually have a full time gig. And to think that you need to be 100% focused by being an Internet marketer, that you need to be off your job, I think it's wrong. People can be working a full time gig and actually making a full time income online, and that's what I do. So it's pretty exciting to be in this industry, to see it evolve and to see you just got to be able to roll with the punches and really just focus. So for me personally, in the last four months, I really focused and just focused and focused. And it really just comes down to focusing on a couple of strategies that really work. And for me personally, when I saw your program, Global Apps Network, it was actually really through Vince Ortega. Even though I've seen Mark Hoverson promote some stuff and I've seen Vince doing some really good stuff that's out there. But I think it really comes down to this. You gotta align yourself up with real people that know what they're doing. That's the most important thing. I've been fortunate to kind of circle myself around some real great people. And it's not just about top incomer to this and top incomer to that. It's really about relating to people. So when I get to relate with other people, you know, top marketers that really know what they're doing, it really comes down to a personality, you know, and if these are people that you feel like, wow, these are real people, real people that you can hang out with, it's exciting. So not only just hanging out with people and really relating to people, but then you want to transfer that to the next person. You want to be able to be a mentor to other people. So I've learned to position myself really, you know, as a. As somebody who's. You just have to be one step ahead of the next person. And that's really it. I know it's kind of crazy to say this, but, you know, I always know the people that are. That are ahead of me, they just have to be one step ahead of me. And I just want to. I try to say to myself, I just want to be with that person who's one step ahead of me. And the images that normally is that a lot of people are miles and yards ahead of us, when in reality, they just really just have to be one step ahead. So I teach that to my team. I teach people about branding. I teach people how to really set themselves up so they become one step ahead of the next person. Because it's incredible, Vince, that it doesn't take a lot. It doesn't take a lot. I personally love doing video marketing. I love to brand myself through blogging. I love to use video as a personal branding method. But, you know, and that's really what it comes down to. So personally, for me, I'm not going to get into marketing strategies and stuff like that. I'm going to leave it up to you crazy guys. But personally, for me, I just love the whole idea of branding. When my phone rings and when people chase me down, it's usually because they've seen videos of me before or they've seen me. And I want people to realize that it's about let people know who you are first right before you promote what you got right? Because if you could promote, usually it's after that. Usually people find you first because of your personality. They gel with you, they have questions. So I've always just been wanting to brand myself. You know, I would say every day, you know, it's a process. It's like every single day, if you haven't done video marketing, start doing video Marketing. If you don't have a blog, you need to get a blog. It needs to be a branded blog. If you don't have a fan page, you need to get a fan page. And it should be branded. It shouldn't be branded to your company. It should be branded to you. So this is honestly a fight that a lot of people have when they get started. They usually just pitch the program, but it really comes down to yourself. So that's what I say. And then I just wanted to add a little bit more, if you don't mind, just about global apps and why Global Apps Network has literally become something that I'm like, way, way excited about. Okay. And this is like the digital world. The actual real estate on a phone is not tapped into yet. It's totally not. It's not in the world of the online world. As far as Internet marketers. Online marketers and retail establishments, they just don't get it. They don't know that having an app that's branded to yourself is another venture.
Into this world. So I think it's so exciting. I gotta tell you, Vince, this. It was yesterday or two days ago that I watched another video of a testimonial. I'm not sure who it was, but one of your students just getting. He had like a. I don't know how many impressions or clicks or just crazy amount, and he only deposited $24 into his account. So that's a testimonial that totally drew me. I was like, whoa, this is insane. So I'm learning right now mobile marketing more than I've ever had. And this is an incredible market to tap into. And then to think that you can brand yourself as the mobile marketing master, that's what I'm getting here with Global Apps Network. So I'm pretty excited about that. And I just want to say thanks, man, for leading the way, because to think that my phone right over there has an app with myself on it, that's crazy, crazy stuff. So I'll just throw it back to you. Thanks.
Awesome. This.
Yeah.
Vince, you were saying in the beginning, Jerry, you weren't on here, which is like a huge, huge thing, is you made it past that, like, 90 day, you know, 180 day window that most people, they start out and they, like, think that, oh, I'm gonna be successful so fast, because I see people like Vince Reed and I, and we just like, we have all the success, but they don't realize that we grinded our, you know, ass off in the beginning. So, like, Jerry, what in Particular got you past the point of that 90 day window where most people fail, because I know you didn't have instant success. None of us did. You know, so what was it different? You know, why. Why are you the re. I mean, why did you actually get to this point, these things? Why did you move past all those failures that you had to go through?
I just have the.
The.
It's a great question. And it's. It's like I just never.
Have that feeling of giving up personally. There's no reason to give up on just because you have a failure. I personally believe that one failure leads to another success. You have to have failure in order to have success. It's a mindset thing. So I did go through an incredible personal transformation, personal development transformation. And honestly, that is it. That's the reason why I know I've gone through the trenches. I've been in the trenches, I currently am in the trenches. But I know that I am where I am and I've had success and I continue to have success is because I've gone through a personal development transformation. I've read and I continue to read books. I just ordered Gary Vanichik's book, you know, crush It. And you got to believe that personal mindset.
Has to be done. There's a transformation in every one of us. And I don't circle myself around people that don't believe that. So if you are the person that, you know, you need growth, then you just have to, you know, suck it up and you got to start reading. See, readers are leaders and leaders are readers. So if you're not reading, and a lot of times it's actually, it's not just reading online, right? You got to be able to get a book, you know, none of this shit, you know, with like downloading onto your iPad and all this stuff, you know, there's something real about an actual book, you know, so digital is great, but there's something about actually having some time alone, you know, going on my deck and actually just grabbing a book and knowing that I'm just going to, you know, read 15 minutes. So these are all books. John Maxwell, who Moved my cheese. Just a ton of books that I've read. So personal development rinse, man. I think that's really it.
That's awesome. Yeah, I just wanted to point that out, Vince, because at the end of the day, Vince and I, we've invested tons of money in ourselves and you know, our just transformation of leaders and being and becoming a leader, because essentially Eric Worre actually said it and it was amazing. He said, you are you. It doesn't matter what product or what opportunities you create. As much income in your life is as much of a leader as you are. So that's what Vince, you know, Vince Reed. I mean, the man is amazing because he's obviously invested a ton of money in himself, and that's why I respect him so much. You know what I mean? So I could tell that Jerry obviously was investing himself. You can just tell by when people are on videos and kind of just sharing their heart, you know, I mean, you can just kind of tell when somebody is investing in their future. So, huge, huge tip, I think.
Absolutely. So, yeah, definitely. We're starting to pile in and. Awesome. I just wanted to real quick jump in and just let everyone know that right now we're at our roundtable, if you're getting in, and we're going to get started. My man Vincent Ortega Jr. Is going to go here in about 45 minutes. And what we like to do is just talk business, talk strategy, and just have a good time here in the roundtable. Go ahead, Martin. I know you're going to share some with.
Yeah, just. Just to chime in on that. I think mindset is definitely very, very important, if not the number one thing, you know, just, you know, we battle. We battle this little mind. And, you know, I don't know if you guys have that, but that little mind that. With that little inner. Inner thing that we have that, you know, we have to constantly battle, like, you know, just something that we got to do, you know, Know, so you got to always be feeding your, you know, your subconscious mind and just surrounding yourself with people like, you know, like Vince and both Vince, Vince and Vince.
We got both of them on the.
Line, you know, and everyone that's around that's gonna come around more. You gotta surround yourself with those type of individuals to really, you know, you're the five people, you know, you always hear this and. But you're the five people you hang around with. And that's one thing that I. It's sort of like in my DNA. And Vince, you know this. I see you got a lot. A lot of live events, but that's something that has been key for me is just, you know, having that, like, in my DNA, in my business plan, you know, from the first, you know, when I do my goals, you know, if you even track it back to, like, December, when everyone's doing goals, right? Like, I have it in my DNA and my business plan to, like, go to live events like I try to seek out big live events and that's where you're going to mastermind and you're going to hang out and be able to associate yourself with these top leaders. So I think that's very, very big. And what's been key.
Absolutely, absolutely, man. It's definitely. And I see Martin at every single event. And that's how we actually became friends and just connecting and seeing him there, and that is huge. I mean, just when your team sees that, you're exposing yourself to the very best marketers and new concepts. Every time I've been to an event, every time I've invested in myself, I always try to just pick up at least one thing that I can utilize and implement. I remember when I first got in the industry, I went, I got this thing from Entrepreneur. I used to subscribe, actually I still do, to Entrepreneur magazine. And they had this thing in a hotel and Michael Masterson, I believe the guy who wrote, one of the authors of Guerilla Marketing, was speaking at this hotel. So I just went to see what it was all about. And this is when I was really getting started, learning a bunch of marketing strategies and methods. And I remember when I went there, I went there like with my head a little bit too big. At first I was like, I know all these marketing strategies. What is this guy going to teach me about marketing, these guerrilla marketing strategies? And then I remember sitting there with all those people and I said, you know what, back up a second. And first off, humble yourself. And number two, all you need to do is pick up one nugget that you can implement. I don't care if you know every single thing here. Maybe there's a person here that you can connect with. Maybe there's a resource that you can find. And you wouldn't believe it. In the packet that they gave us was this list of a bunch of resources that I still go back to and use to this day. I mean, it was everything from things that you probably already know of that I didn't even know even exist. And that is how you basically extract value. So even like, for example, global Apps Network, people come in, they think, oh, this is just about apps. But little do they know, it's about what we have right here. It's about personal development, it's about. People think that it's about training. Little did they know, it's about lead generation. Use your apps, use all these strategies to generate leads. So what you gotta do whenever you position yourself in front of information is figure out where you can extract the Most value because people learn differently, because there's people that learn visually, there's people that learn from audio. Like, for example, they really have to hear it. For me, I'm a visual learner. I have to see it. I wish someone would have told me that early on in school. I probably would have done a lot better. But I really have to see something. I can't just see someone standing up there walking around talking. And that's why for me, I had to learn. I started to learn in college how to use flashcards and things like that. So it triggers in my brain. But the point I'm making is when you can extract the value from what you have. I hear people all the time. They say, there'll be some people that will cancel. They'll be like, it wasn't for me.
I didn't have time.
And I say, it wasn't for you to be on what we are on right now and get value and pick up one piece of information that could absolutely change your life. You know what I mean? It wasn't worth it to you to brand yourself as a leader. So someone sees, like Jerry was talking about before, sees themselves on their own mobile custom app, and says, man, this is a leader in the industry. I want to follow him. Is it worth it to you to learn from someone like William who's utilizing the strategies and the guy you were talking about, Jerry, is right to. I think our left, maybe your right. You know, it's the guy who implements methods and is a true leader and does something and gets results and depending on. And I tell him all the time, I say, teach what you do. Don't just show what you do. Share what you do, and you'll see yourself grow a lot faster. If you notice something that I made a conscious attempt to do is when I see leaders stepping out. One, I want you here and I want to share your strategies, and I want you to.
Basically push that out to the world. Because everyone can't hear my message. Everyone can't hear Vincent's message, Everyone can't hear Martin's message, Everyone can't hear Jerry's message. But you know what? Someone may hear your message, William, and they could be right next to you on this, and you could be responsible for helping change lives. And that's what people have to understand. It's extreme. And this is something that Ray Higdon said that always sticks to me. It's like, you are very selfish if you don't do that, right? It's selfish of you not to share your value with the world. It's selfish of you not to share exactly what it is that you're doing that's helping you get results. It will only help move you forward. So with that being said, I want to bring on William. I know he did some of the strategies, and, you know, I'm always pushing him and stretching. I'm gonna probably tell you because I believe in him. I really do. I believe that he could be an amazing leader in the industry.
You too, Martin. That's why I'm always pushing you, my friend. I really believe in you guys. And my goal is to stretch your abilities, make you uncomfortable because I know it's gonna only bring out the best. So William this week did one of the strategies and is crushing it on mobile. And he's a believer. And I know people always are, like, yeah, right, 1-3-cent clicks. And all this traffic and leads. This guy got so many leads this week that his autoresponder company shut him down. They thought that he was doing something illegal, like he was opting in people.
Wow.
Like, he opt in like some list. So I don't know if they got that squared away, but I'd love for you to come out and share that strategy and just, you know, tell us exactly what you're doing, man.
Yeah.
Can you guys hear me?
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
Yeah.
You know what? Just to kind of go into the background of this whole situation.
When Vince first told me about this, I had a whole nother thing I was working on, and I wasn't even really interested, to be honest with you. And it was kind of hard to believe at first. Like, 3 cent clicks mobile. I was kind of like, man, I don't know about this, whatever. And like, everybody's been talking about it's. Unless you develop your mindset to a place where you have an open mind. And not that you're chasing opportunities, but what I've learned is that, listen, if people like Vincent Ortega, Vincent Reed, Mark Hoverson, all these people are doing it, I'm like, you know what? I got to see what's going on. I don't care what I'm doing. There's a reason why they're doing it. And so what I did was I just kind of cultivated this mindset of just being relentless. And I used to think before, like, you know what? I'm just going to try out a strategy. If it doesn't work the first time, then it just is not for me. But I've kind of gained this mindset now of I have to make it work. So with the mobile stuff, I had no, you know, I didn't even know what was going on really. But I kind of got in the habit of just actually watching training and doing what the person says to do and not overthinking it, not really trying to do too much and.
Controlling my expectations. Right. So that's really helped me a lot too, because now when I go into something, I don't just think, oh, well, I'm gonna make a bazillion leads or whatever. Even though this time I did, but I don't really think like that. So what I did was I just went in the back of Global Apps Network, I watched Vince's videos, and I started doing a little bit of research on Inmobi just to kind of really understand the mobile market and try to wrap my head around it and see what this was all about. And the other night I just ran a campaign and.
I woke up in the morning and it was like. Because, like the lead started trickling in. I started seeing like hundreds of leads and then all of a sudden my account just shut down. And I called because I'm with eye contact and you can't actually. Because I wanted to. Anybody who knows me, they know I like to post stuff on my Facebook page. I wanted to post it, but it just like, I couldn't do it because it only like, with. With eye contact. It doesn't show you, like how many leads you get every single day. You have to like count them all. It's different than anywhere. But literally, I mean, it had to be at least, you know, 8, 900 leads. And I ran another campaign yesterday, which I. And I'm just being honest with you, sometimes I. I'm thinking like, maybe this is not reporting right. But yesterday I ran another campaign. I had like, it was like one point something million impressions. It was like a lot of impressions. And it's just hard to believe that if you just follow a strategy, like Vince was saying, that one strategy could change your life and you're literally just like one breakthrough away from, you know, making something big happen. And that's literally what happened. So I was like, you know what? Instead of showing people, instead of me just talking about it, let me just show people. And yeah, it was just. That's kind of how it happened.
So awesome.
Powerful, man. Congrats, man. Congrats on taking action.
Yeah, definitely.
Yeah, awesome. And tell how, how. I mean, in the whole scheme of things, how easy is it, right? I mean, like, the funny thing is it's like once it's Just.
It literally.
Takes, like, I would say, I mean, I just ran a bunch of campaigns last night. It literally takes probably like less than 3 minutes.
4.
4 minutes to put it up there. And they just created a little button now where it's just like, you can just do it real quick. You don't got to be messing around. It's just, it's so simple. But once again, like everybody's been saying, which this really needs to be driven home. It's mindset and your mind. And like Martin was talking about, you have this little guy in your head that's telling you, oh, 1,3 cent clicks. Oh, mobile apps. I don't know. Oh, technology is going to, you know, it's hard once you can silence that. And that's literally what I've been practicing, is just silencing that subconscious mind from basically stifling your growth. And you just, you just go do it. And going with the expectation of, like, I can get better, right? I don't have to be this, you know, guru, all this other kind of stuff. I can get better and then I can build on that, and then that's how you get results. And it's so simple. So I just highly recommend that if you haven't ran your first campaign, you will be blown away how simple it is and how quickly you can get leads and just start doing it. I mean, that's really what it comes down to.
That's awesome, man. Extremely proud, extremely proud of all of you guys. But, you know, for me, and I tell everyone all the time.
You know, coming into this industry, you see people say a lot of things and, you know, I've seen leaders teach things and try it and have it not work. And I've experienced that feeling of kind of doubting, man, maybe it didn't work. And then the minute I started to recognize that it's me, it could be something that I'm not doing that they're doing and to keep trying it. Because like you said, William, if they're doing it, then clearly it's working, right? I mean, they're doing it for a reason. So you need to figure out why. And for me, the reason I like mobile is because it's not necessarily I can get 1 to 3 cents leads. In fact, I probably do it if it costs 50 cents. One to three is attractive and it shiny and it gets people doing it. But the reason I like mobile is because that's literally where the world is going. For example, I can't wait to share with you guys some of the new Ways in which we can leverage these mobile squeeze pages by doing a lot of the stuff you're going to be teaching today. Facebook. What people don't realize is that it's literally Moving to over 50% of people access their Facebook account from their phone, which means all of the advertising that we're focusing on on Facebook, people don't even see. So now Facebook has released new ways in which you can do ads for mobile. And now when someone clicks on that ad, how about having your mobile video pop up that's optimized on their mobile phone? Who's doing this? Right. Who's doing this? Most people have no idea. They're not thinking that way. So the reason for us to be here on this site today is to become aware and conscious of these things that are taking place. Right. Doesn't that get you excited to know that most people have no idea that people look at their Facebook from their phone? And now you guys maybe have even seen the ads on Facebook advertising, the new marketing app for mobile. How many of you have seen that? Yeah, I just saw that. Pay attention to it.
Right.
Okay.
These are the things that you've got to like that we've got to basically make sure that we're ahead of if we want to essentially be what we all plan to be, which is amazing. Marketers and share value. And there's plenty of leads to go around. You know, plenty of leads to go around. It's not gonna. This isn't one of those things that's gonna saturate the market.
I hear people saying all the time, like, is the industry harder today than it was when I got started in 2008? I honestly wouldn't say it's harder. I think it's different. Yes. You may have more people exposed to it because we have a lot more amazing marketers that have been exposed to information from the leaders that we've all learned from.
Right.
So more people have been exposed to it. Well, I think that it's. I don't think it's harder. I think that it's harder for those people who haven't adapted to the changes in the market. That's who it's harder for. And sometimes we get so closed off that we don't see what's happening, which is why once a day, I have an hour a day that I scour the Internet and just try to find.
I call it my get better hour. So I'm either watching someone's webinar or, I mean, they're looking at some kind of ad. I'LL literally click on someone's opt in page and look at their sales letter and write their copy and see what's working. And these are just things that I do to get better. And a few years ago I saw a guy. Let's see, what was it? Oh, yeah, I think I bought a Frank Kern course and he was talking about.
Something that would become popular. And I tried it a while ago. I don't know if any of you ever saw it, but essentially was at the end of your sales letter, let's say you're doing like a video on like a green screen where you know you can put whatever you want behind you. You're talking and you say, okay, go ahead, put your name and email on the form and I'll see you on the other side. And you walk away and you let it sit there for a second and then you come back in the screen and you're like, hey, what are you waiting for? Have you guys ever seen that happen before? Well, if you haven't seen it happen before, it's something that you'll probably start to see more. And I've actually seen it a couple times and I hadn't seen it since heard Frank Kern talk about it. So essentially imagine that we're doing a sales video. Like, hey, guys, in this video on the other side of this page, I'm going to teach you how to dominate Facebook, how to become a seven figure earner, and a free video that teaches you xyz. So what you want to do right now is put your name and email in the form and I'll see you on the other side. Then you leave the page. Or even if you're doing like a regular video, let's say it's just a regular screen where you're just displaying the images. You say, put your name in on the other side and then you stop for a second and then you say, you come back and you're like, hey, what are you guys still doing here? And you get back into a little bit more of your closing and sales pitch. And I started to see that and it triggered to me, it's like I saw that like a couple of years ago. I implemented it once on a sales video, but I never really went back to it. But that right there made me go ahead and opt in because I literally just clicked on it to see what the sales letter was all about. But it triggered this. Okay, this person obviously saw that somewhere is investing in themselves and I want to see if this guy's disadvantaged. I want to see what's on the other side. So there's just little things that you can pick up that can help your overall conversions of what you're looking to do. But let's see. So it's about 8:30. We're definitely filling up more. And again we're on our roundtable guys and what we're doing now is just chatting, talking, marketing and sharing strategies. So what I wanted to do is show you.
This cool thing that I actually just.
Figured out the other day, actually yesterday that I can't wait to start using on the webinars. You guys are going to like this.
Let me get it set up right real quick here.
This is really cool. All right, so I'm going to show you guys my desktop here in a second.
Where am I?
Over here.
Alright, so you should be able to see my screen right now. You guys see my screen?
Yeah.
All right, cool. Alright, so let's see.
Okay, cool. It's kind of. It's kind of lagging a little bit.
Is it lagging a little?
Yeah.
How about now?
Yeah. Are you gonna try to play a video? Is that what you're doing? No, no, no, no.
I'm gonna show you guys something else.
Okay, you should be. Alright then. All right, cool.
Alright, so basically this is the page you guys are watching it on. Alright, so I'm going to go over to the landing pages tab. So all of you guys know that you get a landing page generator now, Mobile optimized lead generator when you get your app. So.
What the traffic that.
William was talking about and the traffic that I get when I'm driving, traffic to lead Capture pages or to mobile, this is what you can now drive it to. So for example, if I come over here and I just click on this link right here. Here's the lead capture page that I built. You can see that this isn't mobile optimized because I'm looking at it on a desktop. But if I take this in here and I copy it, here's a cool little new. It's the Mobilizer app that you can add. If I paste it in here and I hit go, you see, you'll see that it'll actually allow me to like pull up this, this little component here of a phone and you'll be able to actually see what it looks like. Hold on one second.
On a phone.
So if you ever want to see like what a page looks like on a phone, you'll be able to do it. I can get this to act right here.
Let's see.
Oh, okay.
You have to pick the phone.
Oh, yeah. See, you can pick whichever phone you want it to be on. So I'm gonna see what I want it to look like on an iPhone. So now you can see the phone pop up.
Let's see.
Where'D it go?
Oh, there it is.
All right, cool. So here's the phone. Can you guys all see that?
Yep.
All right, cool. So you can see, like now imagine on Facebook, someone clicks one of your links, and you can create all these different types of lead capture pages. And this is what they would be opting into. And this would go right into your aweber or whatever autoresponder company that you have. But even further, if I come back over here and let's see if I can grab this video. This one was a video that I had that I made. So after they opt in, imagine them going into this video. And forgive me, because I haven't used this app before. So this is my first time using this thing. You guys can see how it works. So if I wanted to have them opt in and then take them to like a video, boom, they can go right to a video squeeze page. And you can see this is like a hangout that I did or whatnot. And we have all different types of pages that we can. That we can build now. So now you can drive that traffic. So all that traffic that he was talking about, you can drive that traffic right to a squeeze page. And then on the other side, you could actually take them to the install page of your app. So let's see, let's see another one that we have here. I like some of the ones that you can add videos and graphics and all kinds of stuff. This is a cool one here. So if I take this and I just grab the link and throw it in this right here.
So Vince, do me a favor if you can. You just said a technique which is you're having them opt in and then you send them directly to your download page for your own app. Is that right?
Right. That's a strategy, right? There's a couple ways that I actually do it. Sometimes you can see this is a cool one, like the money. That one's a good little page. But let's see what I do a lot of times now, because this is what we have to understand. Let me go back.
Let me come back to me.
Can you guys see me now?
Yeah.
So one of the things that we have to understand is that mobile is so new that when someone clicks on a link and this is again, this is always a process Right. When someone clicks on your link in the mobile campaign, like when you're running your ads.
And you take them right to the click to download your app, right? People aren't comfortable yet just installing some guy's app. They don't know who it is. We're just not there. That's the beauty of where we are in mobile, right? Because it's like we're so new that it's like, I mean, I remember when I first got into the industry, even putting the name and email, it was like, I can't put my personal information in an opt in page. You remember that? Like, it was like, so now people just do it, they feel more comfortable doing that. So that same thing occurs when someone is downloading an app. So when you click on an ad and then all of a sudden it takes you to the install page to download your app, it's kind of this, whoa, like, should I download this? Is this like legal? I mean, is this gonna do something to my phone? That's what. So I was getting people to download it, but for the traffic I was getting, I wasn't happy with it. So I said, let me give them what they're used to, alright? So I came up with the concept. Let's drive them to a mobilized squeeze page, have it be, have the ad be congruent with the page. So if I'm talking about, you know, something about making money, make sure, you know, with basic rules that we always learn in Internet marketing, make sure you capture what's going on inside your prospect's mind. You get the lead, you generate a ton of leads and then on the back end, remember, now they opt in, they're in your autoresponder. So now you can follow up with them and you can build the relationship with them and you can simply tell them, hey, I have a mobile app. This is how I use it. Checks my name, that's how I'm getting them to download it. So it's just a different twist, okay? It's a different twist to getting them to download the app. So building a list, building relationships, being able to market to them. Another thing you can do is like I showed you, you can make a page with just a video. So after they opt in, you take them to the video, you explain to them who you are, tell them to check their email for information, you're going to be sending them stuff. And again, make sure that you're matching, you're capturing what's going on in the prospect's mind. So if they click the ad, make sure. The lead capture page is congruent with the message on the ad and then make sure what you promote on the back end is congruent with what you told them on the front end and you'll be good. Go ahead.
You got a question?
Quick question, Vince.
Yeah.
So when you're actually, you're driving it through a mobile squeeze page, when they actually opt in, is the redirect that page call it the sales page. Does that page need to be a optimized sales page that also is integrated within global app network?
Absolutely. For the best results. That's a great question. For the best results, yes. Now you're ahead of me and I told you before we started some of the things we were about to do, which is going to take this to a whole other level. So you're like, you're with me, Jerry, you get it. So over the last two weeks, guys.
For me, I want perfection. So it's like things have to make sense and I want you guys to have such an advantage over the competition, it's crazy. So this is how I'm thinking. Okay? So Apple is difficult. Everyone knows Apple's just a headache when it comes to apps. Okay? So we never know what's going to happen with the app industry in terms of different phones. We had experiences with certain Android phones not playing videos, found out it was an issue with their operating system. There's always new phones coming out. BlackBerry's talking about now having a smartphone where they may have their own app store, which means that now you're going to have to get the apps approved. There, there, there. So it's like great. We love apps because they're retention. We love apps because they're a great branding tool. But at the end of the day, we're missing out on one element and that's the search element. That's what you just talked about. What can we drive people to after they opt in that's mobile optimized. So one of the things that we're releasing, and I'm probably talking too soon, hearing when I get back, is the mobile websites that you'll be able to get but that are true mobile websites. So people will be able to come to mobile apps network and get mobile optimized. That will be a different separate site. So we're not taking it and using some just plug in to mobile optimize your website, which doesn't work well. We're actually building a completely new mobile website that when someone is searching on their phone because the results are different and Google just updated Their algorithm where they don't like your website if it's not mobile optimized. So how many Internet marketers out there do we know that that basically would love to have their website optimized? So when people are searching on their tablet or their iPhone or their mini iPad, now what we can do is when they click that link, it automatically redirects their site to the mobile website version. So people can get all your products and everything. And it doesn't matter what phone you're on, it works on Android, BlackBerry, Blueberry, Redberry, it doesn't matter. It works. What we can do is we can now use our mobile lead capture page generator, drive them right to your mobile website version to any page that you want, that you can build your squeeze pages, you can build your videos. Vincent can get his whole blog game going. I know how he blogs over there with his deal. But now you have the power to go to marketing and say, look, I went to your site on the Internet and that thing wasn't mobile optimized. We can do that for you. And you get the affiliate commission for that. And they can also buy an app and have them where they hit where. Check this out. This is the last thing. I'm gonna stop talking. I'm telling too much. Imagine they spill the beans.
Spill the beans.
Imagine someone searching on the Internet, right?
Vince is speaking too much. Are you kidding me?
The people want to know, man.
The people want to know. So someone searches on the phone, right? And they search for your website because again, people aren't really aware that the results are different on a tablet and a smartphone than their desktop. They think that the results you get are the same and they're not. They're different. So imagine someone searching for Internet marketing, and because you're blogging now, you can actually add tags and do SEO for mobile, right? So now your content's coming up first, like old school Google. And it's your mobile website version of a page in your mobile website. So they click on it and when.
They click on it, then a little.
Thing pops down and says, download my app. So you know, like right now it's like you go to a website and like a little pop up will be like, join my mailing list. So you can, we can add all these really cool features to the mobile website version. So anyways, back to your question. When someone opts in to the lead capture page, you can then direct them to a sales page that's mobile, optimize all your copy with videos they can literally buy now, right from the mobile website and then from there you'll be able to build a list or get them to download your app or whatever you want. So that is definitely in the works and will be available probably in the next couple of weeks once I get back from Fiji. So I'm really pumped about that and I think that's going to help a lot of people earn a lot more affiliate commissions because it just makes sense how many sites out there just aren't mobile optimized and can't take advantage of search. What apps do are great for retention, but it's not that great for search traffic, for acquiring the customer that's just searching the Internet because when you search online, the app's not going to come up in the Google search results. So for me it's like, let's take advantage of both. People have websites, let's make sure those are truly mobile optimized and let's make sure that people have the right branding tools to brand themselves as a leader and capture that data and retain their customers. So with that being said, what do you guys think about that?
Speechless.
Come on.
Pretty cool, right? I think it's gonna be awesome.
Speechless.
Absolutely. Should be really, really fun. I'm really pumped up about it. I think that there are gonna be some people that not only make a lot of money with it, but definitely branding themselves like no one else is doing on the Internet.
I just realized I was muted. I was like yelling back here saying it was amazing.
I was like, amazing. And I'm like, wait a second, they can. What's going on here? Yeah, dude, that's freaking awesome stuff, man.
I'm just happy that the guy whose last name is Reed is actually one step ahead of me with all of this.
That's exactly the reason why I'm a member of Global Apps Network because it's impossible to know all of everything. But I'm so grateful that you know what you're doing. This is the reason why. It's a great, great product. This is a wonderful, tremendous product that I'm just so happy that you know what you're doing.
Thank you, my friend. Okay.
I appreciate it.
And I want to say this too, to anybody who's out there listening, don't make the same mistake I did. Back in 2008, there's this 21 year old punk kid who was talking about Google Adwords just like we're talking about mobile right now. And I totally was not like just tuned in to what he was saying and I literally saw him, like most people go from his parents basement to making multi millions of dollars, you know, and he attributes it to really, you know, 70% of it to one strategy. And I feel that right now we're in a time period where literally if you learn this stuff and you master it, you can do whatever you want to do, you can build any business you can. I mean the stuff that you can do with mobile is just crazy. So I highly recommend that if you're just kind of thinking about getting into it or you're a member already to really just dive into it. And I mean you heard all the stuff that Vince is rolling out. I mean this guy is like up at 1am, 2am in the morning doing this stuff all day. So I highly recommend that you guys definitely get into this.
Quick question, Vince. So are you saying that you believe this, that where a website was the property of an actual website was five years ago, 10 years ago, that right now the mobile real estate, the actual, the idea of having your website on a mobile phone, that's where we are at. We're actually at the curve that if you want to be ahead and actually make, you know, not just branding, we're talking about making a ton of money, we're talking about having that real estate on the actual phone, Correct?
Absolutely. And this is how I look at it.
For me it's just, I think a lot of it comes down to the perception and the way that you look at certain things. Like when I saw apps, I love it from a retention standpoint, but I had to look at it from what would give not only myself, but all of the members inside of Global Apps Network the best opportunity to position themselves to become millionaires. I truly believe that everyone's positioned to be millionaires. And let me explain to you why. So it's just not just me saying that number. Five years ago, four or five years ago, it was like most businesses didn't have a website. And if you look at most business sites now, they're static, they're not WordPress sites, they're old, they don't work well, they're not mobile optimized businesses are always the last to act on anything with technology and the first to go out of business.
Right.
Most people right now that have a website, they like their sites and they would never get rid of their website.
Right?
I mean maybe they get rid of it, but most people that really are using it, they're not going to just wake up tomorrow and say I don't want my website anymore, they'll leave it online. So this I just Want you to understand how I'm thinking. So I'm thinking to myself, I'm saying the money and the power is in your list. But every person, whether they're an Internet marketer, whether they're a business, they have a website. So what if we could control all of that? What if we were able to go to that person and go to their website and all of us have done that on a phone, gone to our website and had to open it up and the words are all small and it's not mobile optimized. Have you guys ever had that happen when you've gone to the site? Absolutely.
Right.
So what if we could be the ones that go to them and say, hey, I went to your site, it's not mobile optimized. We can fix that. And boom, you make money. Hey, you have customers but you're not retaining them. Hey, you need an app. Boom, you make money. Hey, you don't have, you need lead generation. Hey, I can be a consultant for you. I can basically drive traffic for you because you guys know now how to do what I teach you in terms of putting those ads on mobile devices and doing. Now you can be a consultant and you're driving traffic for businesses or for your own local business. So this is kind of what I'm talking about in terms of you being able to extract value and figure out your angle, figure out your angle on what you want to attack. So it's generating leads. And you're right, William, in terms of that punk kid that's my mentor and a mentor to all of us, built his business where he can push a button and pretty much make as much money as he wants because he did what? He built a list, but most importantly, he built strong relationship with that list. So a lot of times people ask me, they say, Vince, can I have like video? Can you just build a funnel for me? Can you do this and do that for me? I'm reluctant to do that because I still give people some swipe, I still give them videos. But I really want you guys to all be six and seven figure owners in this industry. And in order to do that, the people have to have a strong connection with you. So if I build everything where it's me and I'm the one talking and I'm the one, then it's not necessarily truly helping you. From my core.
Right.
Like I know what really needs to happen in order for you to become a six and seven figure owner. And that's why when I talked to you, Will, and when I talked to you, Martin, I said, this year I'm going to push you to lead. You got to build your communities, you got to lead your communities. Otherwise, the same people that we always see, just like I was telling you, Jerry, the same people we always see will always be the ones on stage. We'll always be the ones making all the money. And you've got to realize that.
When a person comes online and they see you, you're all that they see. There's so many people in the world, like some of you may have just met me and just joined and just met me this month or last month, right? And I've been doing this for five years. So don't underestimate what you know and your ability to influence. So to answer your question, Jerry, yes, I think that we're on the forefront of something bigger than what people realize. You can generate a list of 100,000, 200,000, a million people with mobile, and you can brand yourself as a leader and you can do that. It can happen. But you've got to have extreme focus and you've got to just do it. You've got to implement it. So, yeah, definitely. What do you think about that, Mr.
Ortega Jr. Dude, I don't even know.
Just everything. It's awesome. I'm just like, I'm just excited for the way that, you know, like the whole, this whole conversation is so much more advanced than anything that's going on right now. Because we are in this space, you know what I'm saying? So much more advanced. So that's, I mean, that's the most exciting part about it. Just that like anybody who's watching this can just realize the fact that like, we are talking about like websites 25, 30 years ago, you know, now in this conversation we're having, you know, that's all I can kind of just keep thinking about during this, you know what I mean? It's like we're so blessed to be in this space right now.
Absolutely. Absolutely, fellas. Alright, so what we're gonna do real quick is let's go down the line and real quick and tell us like one thing so far that you got that you want to implement, like moving forward, that you're gonna make it a point to like implement moving forward. Then we're gonna get started with Vince is gonna wait.
Okay, I know for sure I got to get this ad stuff going. William was showing. That's crazy, bro. That's crazy. I'm like looking at my Facebook ads going, hmm.
Like this ain't right. Because I'm gonna show you guys my Facebook ads here in a minute. And like, I'm like, you know, that's pretty good what my numbers are. But shoot, that's like, oh, I'm like jealous watching that video the other day because I, I hope like Vince, that you put that video that you showed on Facebook like inside a global apps of will when he showed what he did. Because that was amazing, like how many impressions and all that stuff. So it's crazy.
I agree with Junior there. You gave me the key. The key is I was trying to. Well, I told you, Vince. I opened up my mobile account big time today. Gotta get that done. Got it. It's gonna get done today. I'm so excited about it. I'm so excited to see that testimonial from William because that is true hardcore. Real testimonial, real selling point.
To global Apps Network. And the fact is that that definitely should be part of the funnel as far as selling.
Partnerships.
Awesome.
William, man.
You know, I'm just inspired. I've known Vincent Ortega for years. I'm looking at what he's doing. Me and Martin are connecting. I just met Jerry. I'm following you. I mean, you know, just the mindset for me is kind of where I'm at. I mean, just listening to what everybody's saying and taking the pieces of how everybody thinks and just organizing this knowledge and just really being excited about, you know, the opportunity that we have to inspire people and to, you know, just like you always tell me, just lead by example. And I'm, and I'll be honest with you guys, you know, Vince called me up and was like, man, you gotta shoot a video, like, and he was really pushing me to shoot the video because sometimes I tend to just do things like on my own and stuff like that. And he was like, man, you gotta show people, like what you're doing. Like, you gotta show people. And that just kinda lit a fire under me. And you know, I just want to encourage everybody too, like to further this global apps movement. We have to be action takers and we have to go out and run these campaigns, shoot these videos and put them up because just like, I'm able to inspire you guys, you guys are going to be able to do the same thing and this thing is going to be just going to blow up because I feel that the community that we're establishing right now.
And I was thinking about this the other day, like, there's a need for fresh.
Just like a fresh environment. And like, Vince always tells me, you've Got to show people versus tell them. And. Yeah, so that's kind of what I'm taking away from this whole situation.
Absolutely. Martin, what you got going, brother?
Man, that's awesome. Yeah, you guys do inspire me for me, I mean, obviously, just what people said, you know, the ads definitely gonna. William and myself, you know, we're definitely teaming up, which is awesome. And definitely excited about the landing pages. Definitely. But the one thing that I'm willing to take back is definitely get back to my team and just be that leader, you know, Be that leader that, you know, we're all stepping into our own greatness. So that's, you know, getting back to them and just sharing the message and sharing my enthusiasm of what's going on, you know, that the true thing that we have here is. I see it really big. Being from California, I know Vince, you know, we talk about the gold rush. Like, I always mention this to my. To my group is, you know, we're literally like, we have this, you know, this gold mine, but, like, the masses don't know about it yet, you know, so we're like. We're so far advanced right now. Just like, you know, Vince was saying in the conversation that we're there before anybody else, so we have, like, first dibs on everything. So that's what I'm excited to really lead and, you know, be that leader for the future and inspire others.
Awesome, brother. Well, that's awesome. Well, it's almost that. It's almost that time, guys. So what I want to do is prepare for my man, Mr. Vincent Ortega Jr. And before he gets going. What's that?
Yeah, yeah, bring him on. Bring him on.
You know, the funny thing about him is I don't ever like to take credit for.
Other people's, like, awesome strategies. So I've been, like, holding my. I've been wanting to share some of the stuff that I've just witnessed and some things that he's taught me, but I was like, I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna let him come on and cheer, because I'm here to tell you that what you're gonna learn in terms of a lot of the stuff you see people doing on Facebook now, they probably picked up from this guy right here, Vincent Ortega Jr. And I met him first at Jonathan Budd's Mastermind after Futuristic marketing. And it was his personality and the fact that he's an athlete and just has such a giving heart and is why I think we connect.
Well.
We got a chance to at other events and just hung out in Dallas and just, we just have a great time connecting and you know, for one, what I like the most about him is his ability to lead and share. There are a lot of leaders that just don't do that. I mean, he's an open book. He's pretty much helping, if not running a network marketing company. He's training and doing a lot of stuff for communities. He has his own community that he's grown to do amazing things. I don't even know how much money he's making a month, but I know it's a lot. This is a guy who I think not even a year ago was, I think in your story that I heard correctly, it was not. You weren't making, I'm sure, the money you're making now. I'm sure you're going to tell us that story. So anytime we can bring people on from other communities that are doing amazing things that can help you, that's what we want to do. So with that being said, I want to pass it over to you, man. And the floor is yours for the next hour and 15 minutes.
Thanks, dude.
Rock and roll.
That's awesome. All right, cool. Well, I figure, you know, I might as well share the real quick video with everybody. I got a Google Doc that I made for everybody. Of course. I like these Google Docs. So first off, I just want to say real quick that Vince Reed, yeah, we met at the top 25 mastermind and we immediately connected out there. I could kind of tell that his heart was kind of connected with mine and we were aligned as far as like caring about our community and our value and all that good stuff. So you could kind of, you can get connections, almost instant connections with people who are like minded when you get to these live events, which is nice. And then so we met at the unstoppable event the next time and then we really started bonding and talking about actually what we're in right now, Global apps. He was all excited about that and I was talking about this app idea and all that thing. So just from there, I think that's huge. I mean, when you think about live events, there's no way that we would have ever connected if we didn't get in that space, space together, you know. And I was even talking on a webinar yesterday about a live event and when I was there and people seeing me as a different person. So just your face getting in the space of these, you know, leaders and things like that. And I know global apps network, you're going to have a live event as well. Right? Coming up here in the next year or so. Absolutely. Yeah. So I mean, anybody who's in this industry or anybody who's in this network, I mean, you got to get to that. When he launches that, it just, it really excels your business beyond anything else you can do with. When you get that FaceTime and people see that you're dedicated, that's when it happens. And then you form partnerships and things like that with Vince and Vince, you know, like when we do webinars together, it's just leveraging, you know. So I always talk about leveraging leaders. So when Vince and you know, when I got on a webinar with Vince, I started leveraging his name, you know, because he was already really big in the industry. So anytime you can get yourself in this space, like William and Jerry and Martin, you know, like they're getting leverage right now. You know, for example, I'm getting friend requests from people right now on Facebook just because I'm on this webinar. You know what I'm saying? It's just when you leverage the certain spaces that you get in, that's so, so big. So I want to, without further ado, let me get this document over here and we'll get rocking. I just want to say, Vince, you the man and I appreciate all you do, brother. So you are the bomb. Okay, so here is this document. Can you see it real quick, guys?
Anybody can access this right here. It's vincentortegajr.com supersatvince. Supersatvince right there. I could probably put it in there.
Why don't you email me that and I'll throw it on the form below on the Facebook comics. If you email or just send it to Facebook to me, Facebook. And then I'll put it down into the comments area.
Alright, cool. I'll do it right here.
Look at this. So like I was saying, look, I'm getting like requests, friend requests from this hangout right now, as you can see live, because I'm essentially leveraging this event. So like when you get in these leverage situations, it's huge. I even have it on here, right here where I got leveraging leaders. So we'll talk about all this stuff. So I'm gonna go over my real quick story here at the end of the day. This kind of explains everything in about 10 minutes. And you guys can watch this later on. But it helps me get in the mode like I did this the other day and it helps me get back in the mode of like where I was just A couple months ago. Because the real quick story is only about five months ago, I was around $2,000 a month, and now I'm up to about $50,000 a month in my business. And it's just, it's all about the way that you kind of like you were talking about, like. So for example.
All the people who are on here right now, they went for. I can't even take Martin serious.
That's hilarious. But everybody's on here that they're getting past that, that we were talking about earlier, that 90 day window, like when you just grind and grind and you get past it and you start to see a little bit of success, that's what kind of happens. So it's all mindset. So I'm gonna show the quick video real quick and we'll just go from there. That's the easiest way.
Should be able to hear.
And literally within the last 15 days, I've made $30,000 and I would have never done it before. Yeah, I walked around my room, I was like, just. I didn't even know what to think. When I found out about all this latest business stuff. Oh, so beautiful. You're going to have a bigger vision and you're going to have a bigger dream in your. Because we have a bigger vision together.
My heart was like, oh, bam, bam, bam, bam. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just crazy just knowing how many people you can impact with one video, with one website, you know, with one training. You know what I mean? It's just so amazing that you can do that kind of stuff. It's beautiful. It's so beautiful. You're getting 1,000, $3,000, even up to $7,000 on one transaction. I mean, that really changes your life. And you actually. What's really neat about it and what I've been telling a lot of people lately is not only is it about the money, but when there's that much money involved, you really have more of a connection with the person because you give yourself more to them. Therefore they feel you out. They literally become your family. When transactions become that big.
I don't even know what do they think of like a kitchen thing or a bottle screw or something? It's a vibe. It's kind of crazy though.
Who wouldn't like that? It makes you wonder what it is. So it's appealing, you know, to the people who are visionaries, which is what we want to be, you know, as entrepreneurs. Right. So it's a vision without a vision. You can't really make anything. So it's good. So you're laughing at it, but you're not making fun of it? No, because I feel like that person who created that didn't just want a standard tree. You know, as an entrepreneur, you gotta have that vision to go for something that most people in life won't ever, you know, want to go after. It's amazing. You just have to be. You got to be strong enough to know that regardless of who. What people think of you, it's going to be beautiful, you know, and the person who created it, it's beautiful. God. I mean, it's different, right? You know, so I.
On our first date, we know. Was with him, and I was like. I think I was like, what, 20 years old. And I was thinking to myself, what am I doing? I didn't understand what it was like to take care of a child. But you get so grown up from the experience of understanding that you have to take care of another child. And I just cannot wait for that experience in my own life, you know? So I would say that's another part of it all. This is a story that came to me because I was the. Braden really was part of my life in the transition of me going from.
He was part of the transition of me growing up as a man.
A lot of people don't know that story. You know.
They don't understand.
How broken I was and.
The mistakes that I made and just.
You know, just the people that believe in me. And having him there kind of like showing me what it was like for my parents because of my putting my parents through misery and kind of just understanding all the, you know, love that I put in them and how much love they put into me and the.
You know, it's just. How do you love somebody that fails you over and over and over again? And I watched my fiance just totally love on him. And it just makes me realize at the end of the day how much my parents really did for me. And.
You know, no matter what I did, at the end of the day, when I woke up, my mom would be there for me, say that she believed in me.
That at the end of the day, after all the failures that I had and.
Completely turning on my parents, thinking that they were more, you know, basically the bottom of the world because they didn't understand that I didn't give a crap about life. And, you know, like, I'm gonna say it.
There is probably nobody on this planet that I felt that I was any better than I felt like I was the scum of the earth because I didn't have an identity, you know, so when I was cruising around the streets and.
You know, thinking I was big dog, top of the world, played baseball, I had a 95 mile an hour fastball. Why wasn't that good enough? You know, why was that not the place I was supposed to be? And everybody told me that's where I was supposed to be. Everybody told me that, you know, 95 mile an hour fastball is going to get me to the next level and all those kind of situations coming down on me. But at the end of the day, it really wasn't my passion. It like wasn't who I was supposed to become. So I think that I almost fought that, you know, I did that for, you know, I thought that would make my parents proud type of situation versus actually going after something that at the end of the day I would wake up and go to sleep at the same time. You know, just going to sleep, feeling good, waking up feeling amazing, like what it is now. When I wake up, I think about the thousands of people that my business impacts every day. You know, I think about how many lives can get changed through this business that we do. I mean, being an entrepreneur is the best thing in the world. I mean, there is nothing else that you can compare it to. And so at the end of the day, when I was pitching and doing the things that really wasn't aligned with my passion, it was that, what does pitching do? What does baseball do to help other people? At the end of the day, it really doesn't do that. And I know God aligned me to be that person, to empower thousands and thousands of thousands of people. And at the end of the day, pitching for me was just all about myself. You know, if I did good, it was a celebration of myself. Right? You know, even though it was supposed to be a team sport, it was like, how did Vince do today? You know, was my stats good enough to get to the next level? Now it's like, how many people am I going to impact at the end of the day, right? How many more people are going to see the vision that I have that their future can change in the blink of an eye? You know, like when you actually. I know I talk about failure, right? And you have to fail to go through it. But that quick, you know, the quick switch that will actually get you to the next level is understanding the entrepreneur vision that you don't need anybody else to tell you what to do. You can actually figure out how to tell yourself what to do, which Then will therefore impact so many more people's lives. Right? So it's amazing this year with my business and it going from complete. I mean, it was complete failure. I learned I was successful for a little while and then I kind of slacked off and I was going back to my old habits. But what happened was, is I found out when I look back is that my whole goal was to make money. It wasn't to impact people. As soon as I flicked that switch and I learned that it was all about people first and the money was the byproduct, my business just flourished. I mean, I can't tell you how many thousands of dollars flood in every single day. Not because it's exciting that the thousands of dollars are coming in, but it's exciting that those thousands of dollars can be the other people's thousands of dollars, you know what I mean? And I'm not getting controlled by anybody. So then people don't have to get controlled by anybody, you know, Because I remember when I was 16 years old, I remember like it was yesterday. The people told me to go out back. I was working for a truck accessory center. They told me to go out back and clean out the trash around the trash can that had been sitting there for two years. I'm talking about stepping in maggots and spiders and just trash can piled up about 2ft, 3ft high, throwing up all over the place. I mean, it's just that vision keeps me going every single day to know that if somebody can actually put you in that situation in the workforce and don't really care about you and could just basically throw you in a situation that you never in your entire life would ever want to be in. Why would you do it? There's a better way. There's a better way. Now we can go after our own dreams, our own visions, our own own goals. Why would you go after somebody else's dream? I always tell people, if you're going to go after your dreams, there's no way you're going to be able to do it for somebody else. Why would you want to help somebody else's dream when at the year 2012 and beyond. Now we can have our own dreams, our own goals, our own visions, right? So we don't need to work for other people's dreams anymore. We can be entrepreneurs. We can do the things we want in life. We can hang out with our family whenever we want. We can make money while we're with our family. Because that's the same thing that I'm giving people the opportunity to have now, right, you can be with your family and still have an income stream coming in. You can go to sleep and wake up with a whole bunch of payments flooding your inbox. Your email inbox just gets flooded with payments when you wake up in the morning. The other night I woke up at four in the morning and I just looked at my email to check it and I had hundreds of payments come in while I was sleeping. So I knew when I thought back, when I thought about that, I thought back. I was working for $7.50 an hour cleaning up trash around the trash can.
And now I can wake up just for random times, just to get, you know, check an email. I have 20 to 40 things of service. It says, you know, it's so cool. It says, it says, cha Ching, you have money. Everybody can have that opportunity. Now while you sleep. Just what gets any better than that? There is nothing better than that. You could sleep and make money. There isn't anything better than that. It's just beautiful.
All right, so that was the cool thing about that video I always tell people is that was shot right like the month that I went from like pretty much a broken business to just complete shining and it only happened within a month. It was all about that switch. It was all about like just the change in the vision of, like I said in that video, about taking it off of myself and putting people on my shoulders and wanting to run. So at the end of the day, it wasn't about because I think a human, we can't just naturally, instinctively, you know, grow by ourselves. Like we are meant to be connected with people. That's why, like, you know, we're together on this hangout. We're meant to be connected together, to share value together. And so you need to be able to run together so you can't just do it by yourself anymore. That's why Vince Reed created Global Apps Network. Not with just I'm going to go out there and sell apps, I'm going to bring in affiliates to be able to share in the profits with me. You see what I'm saying? So that's kind of the idea and the mentality that you have to have when you're running forward in this business is, you know, when you're just an affiliate by yourself right now, go out there and find people you can JV with, make videos together and create collective things together and run together. Because not everybody can create a business like Vince did with staffing and all the processing and all that stuff. But what you can do is you can go out there and you can get affiliates with you, you can grow together, you can do partnerships together and you can just have fun together and keep each other accountable. You know what I'm saying? That's kind of like the huge thing that happened in my business. I started running with people first and then once you start running with people and start to learn things, then you can start creating your own business systems and things like that. So, you know, for me, getting big and leveraging leaders, I became a top affiliate in that futuristic marketing contest, you know, so I got big in that aspect. So you got to become a really good affiliate, like what Martin and Jerry and.
William are doing. Sorry. And so you have to become a really good affiliate and start leveraging that platform and then you can start branching out on your own. And that's when just things go nuts. So that's kind of the whole deal with that. So what I'm going to do is on this document real quick and like I said in the beginning, it's always about giving away. It's a lot about relationships before profit. That's why I even told you that or showed you that video in the beginning because at the end of the day now you can kind of understand that I'm not just going to be blasting marketing training at you. This is real. I mean, at the end of the day, if you don't give yourself to people versus, you know, just sharing marketing training, they're not really going to care. You have to really dig deep with the relationship aspect. So I put a little cool video in here as well that you guys can check out with me and my baby in my house and you kind of just get build a little bigger bond, but you guys can kind of check that out later. So relationships before profits, huge. Make sure you're building those relationships. They don't matter. If you're trying to promote global apps network, people are going to want to know why you want to promote it. So definitely get yourself out there, you know, shoot a camera video, you know, it doesn't matter. It doesn't have to be a professional video like what you watch, but take your freaking phone. Most of us have phones nowadays, or even your computer right here and just talk about the global apps network, why you believe in it, why you feel like Vince Reed's amazing. Because a lot of people want to know what's behind it, you know, if you want to really promote this opportunity, you know, so you got to really share that. So when you're sharing your affiliate links back it up with a YouTube video of you saying, this is why I believe in global apps Network. Vince Reed is the man. Because of this, this and this. And this is why we know mobile is going there. Because at the end of the day, Vince can only do so much. People want to build a relationship with the person that they're buying from. Does that make sense? Alright, so if you guys are getting value from this, go ahead and type some Facebook comments below. I just got to the hangout or whatever, so I'll look at those here in a little bit. Alright, so let's see. Let me go back here.
So I just put a couple videos in here. A little bit of training videos. Sacrifice now to play later. These are just some videos that I put on YouTube that you guys can check out. You really have to go through grind mode in the beginning. You cannot expect instant gratification. It's just not possible in any business. So check that video out if you want to learn about how in the beginning, you better be willing to sacrifice now to play later or else at the end of the day, you might as well jump off this hangout because none of this is going to be for you. No instant gratification is ever going to happen. It's going to be the fastest that's ever going to happen if you utilize the Internet the right way and mobile apps and all this good stuff. But you better not. You got to have that leadership mentality. You got to see that the work that you're doing now is going to pay off later. Okay. That's why I put that in there now. Closing sales on Facebook with Jing. This is huge for relationships. Alright, so Jing is an instant. I'll show you here in a second. But when you're having conversations on Facebook, it's. What happens with Facebook is it only gets so far. You can only touch the level of text and text will get you at least the conversation started. Okay. But then you got to close sales of Face. Like I'll show you on this training video that you guys go through. Like I said, I'm not going to go through it on this. But when you watch this video, you're going to be like, wow, I understand how I can go from a texting relationship to a real personal connection gene. Literally within seconds you can pop a video of you talking behind the screen, just like I'm talking right now to somebody you're connecting with on Facebook. Which is going to be a huge difference from just having that text conversation that's going to really bring you out. I'VE closed thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars with Jing. I mean, it makes a huge, huge difference when you do that. Alright, so let's get into really where I kind of started my, my marketing. Alright, so this is what Vince wanted me to share today, was some Facebook marketing. So at the end of the day, when you're on Facebook, you know, I'm talking about relationships before profit. So you can see up here, it's not just business, business, business. Okay? I gotta get all this madness off. Let me turn this off just so they get crazy, okay? It's not all business, business, business when it's just on your personal profile. You see, I got my baby up there, I got my parents, I got it, all that good stuff, stuff. And it, it's like Pete, like I said, relationships before profit. Okay? Don't just come on here and only blast business, business, business stuff. If you scroll down lately, we've been doing a lot of promotional things, but if you kind of scroll down through my timeline, you're gonna see. So like, here's a video that I shot outside my house. It was just something silly. I was like, should I let the birds poop all over my front walkway? It's just a stupid video that connects people to you. It's just about relationships, okay? And then down here, you know, I'll put like, like I said, we've been doing a lot of promotions lately. But so here's me sleeping with my baby, you know, Then if you go down, here's a little video with my baby. So it's, I'm just connecting. And then there's a promotion thing, right? So then, you know, if you keep scrolling down, you'll see, here's me with my baby again, you know, and then here's like a little comment about something cool that happened. So it's just, it's constant back and forth. It's about your family, then it's about the business. So it'd be. If you want to promote Global Apps Network, it's about your family a little bit, tell some family values and then go back to Global Apps Network. Okay? So when I promoted Global Apps Network, hard like I did to get into the top 20 or top. What was I, Vince? Was I six?
You were like five and a half.
Five and a half. Yeah. So when I went hard with it, it was, you know, family and then it was Global Apps Network and the family and then, you know what I'm saying? So it's not like global apps, global apps, global apps, global apps. Because then it's just like you're just pushing it and pushing it and pushing it and it just gets, you know, it just gets to the point where people are like, okay, you know, you're just pushing business on me. People want the relationship, okay. And that's just really, that's just kind of life. People want to know more than anything I think why my business has been growing a lot is because I have a family environment and I have a family feel and I really push relationships with for profit. So just get that into your mind today.
Alright, so here's what I did below. As you can see right here, Facebook Invite all script. Here's a tutorial video how to use all this good stuff. Here's a bunch of stuff about Facebook events. So it's going to be good if I go roll through this here fast today you're going to have all the stuff that you're going to need on this document about getting your Facebook events recap. Sneaky image tricks, all this good stuff. So let me do a good example. So if you were to promote the Global Apps network, easiest way possible right now is just go to Global Apps Network Facebook fan page and find like a something that Vince shared lately. So even like let's see what is a good one that you did here?
Any of these.
Right? Okay, so here, have you seen Vince Reeds part 4? So is there a affiliate link for this Vince that you're doing yet?
We actually are about to make that page an affiliate link, yes.
Okay, so all you literally would have to do, it's really cool. You just hit the share button. Actually no, hold on. You hit the share button right here and utilize what he's doing and just write something up here that would say like check out.
For.
Part print.
Your affiliate link right here.
And you just, you want to always make sure that you're making the affiliate links and things like that with these little arrows. It's just an equal sign and arrow and you want to make sure it's above the image. You don't want it to get lost.
For example, way down this I'll go to share photo.
And let's say for example that I put the link underneath where it says see more. It's not gonna work. It would be way down here. You have to get the links up here high. It's what I call sneaky image tricks. So if you're looking on my document and you go over here to sneaky image Facebook tricks, you'll see it. I'm getting more depth. What's even More you can do sometimes as I'll show you what I do a lot. See because Vince Reed's link will still be there. What you can do, the next step would be to actually go back to here and let me go back to the global apps network and steal his image. So I'm gonna go over here and steal this mug. So actually you could do this. So you could. Let's say for example, this one. Say you liked one of the images of Vince post. So you just save image as. All right, go and click save.
By the way, Vince, I never post affiliate links on global apps. Even if someone clicked it, it wouldn't be linked to anyone.
Right, I'm sure. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. So.
Cool, cool, cool. Okay, so for example, let's go into the. I'm going to get. I'm gonna grab my affiliate link real quick.
Let's see.
Global apps network.
I mean I honestly just thought of something really cool. I mean I never even think about people being able to go and share.
From there and you know, utilize the images that way. Really cool.
So here's.
In your back office and he has course training right there and then. So I always check them to make sure to see where they're going.
That one's just going to the homepage.
Okay. Oh, I'm logged in. So hold on.
You're logged in. But if they weren't, boom.
So that one will go right to the homepage. So that's cool. I like the homepage too though. Alright, so we'll say for example, remember I downloaded her picture. So I'm going to upload the photo that I downloaded.
Right here. So it's Renee Tomzek. So I'm going to say check.
Getting some cool love.
Boom. Put this little period down here and it separates this link from the bottom of the picture. You see this? Alright, so check out this awesome app by Renee. Click here if you want your own. Click on post.
And voila. So you got. Always make sure that this link is present. You never want it to say see more. Because people will come down here, they'll call it like where do I go? You know, so she. So now people are gonna be like, whoa, this chicks got an app. That's cool. Check clicker. If you want your own bam. This gets tied to your affiliate link. You know, rock and roll. So then at the end of the day people are going to land here, right? If you're on Facebook most every time people are going to land here, they're going to check out Vince Reed's awesome Frickin video. They're going to be like, bam, click here and they might join. Or what most people are going to end up doing is they're going to come back here and they're going to click on your name and private message. You come up here and send a message to you. That's when it's huge. So say for example, Vince Reed. Where you at, Vince?
Yeah.
Hey man, I just want to say thanks, Vince Ortega. You're rocking it, man.
Absolutely.
You really think?
But one thing that you did that I just caught was that little period.
It's the period, bro. This is the sneaky image trick, bro.
How many of you guys caught that?
It's it. If they didn't catch it, it's always right back here at Sneaky Facebook Image tricks. You'll see it. I get real slow with it.
Yeah, that little period right there. It's crucial when you're doing that.
Mm mm. Okay. So I said I'm acting like I'm not talking to you. So yo homie, that app is sweet. How cool is that? Do you really think Vince Reed is a good owner? So I send that to you, right? But let's say that you sent that to me. Okay? Now I want to pretend that you sent that to me. So when I'm talking about this jing, okay, this is going to be huge. People are going to need to go back here and watch this slow. But it says close sales on Facebook with jing. So let's say that Vince and I had a really good conversation and I'm like, I'm ready to close this dude. Okay? Then I bust out my jing.
And I just have. And I just screenshot this conversation and I do a video with it. So when I do this, check this out. This turns it from a text conversation into a real deal. Hey, Vince, man, Vince Reed. This guy is amazing. I connected with him at unstoppable. This guy got an amazing heart, his amazing vision. Global apps network is going places. I cannot wait to just see where my business is going to go with it. Let's say for example, if you haven't had results, if I was William, if I was William, like yo bro, you got to check out this YouTube video. I got like a gazillion opt ins, blah, blah blah. So then you can have a little quick conversation, hit finish. Boom. This is a screenshot video now. So check this out. This is nasty. This is some nasty stuff here, people. Alright, so then you hit view on screencast and check this out so people will watch this video.
I connected with him at Unstoppable. Hey, Vince, man. Vince Reed. This guy is amazing. I connected with him at Unstoppable. Unstoppable. This guy's got an amazing heart, his amazing vision. Global apps network is going places. I cannot wait.
As you can see right there, it's super quick. So then you check it out, make sure you like it. And then I'd be like, vince.
Okay, so now, Vince, you go ahead and open that up and see if that video plays instantly on your computer. Computer. Dude, this is. This is like.
This is freaking hardcore, man. Holy crap.
The light.
Dude, I'm telling you, this is like 50 to 100 grand in the last couple months closing like, type of stuff.
That's sweet, man. Let's see.
Here it is.
You guys probably can hear it. I can show my screen.
Share your screen real quick.
If I. Vince, do you mind me interrupt two seconds?
Yeah, go ahead.
I just want people to know, actually, I started my actual relationship with Vincent Ortega through that. Jing.
That's awesome.
Oh, my God. I texted you, Vince. I texted you and you said, hey, just send me a video.
You didn't even want to take a call from me because I was a nobody. And you were like, hey, man, just send me a video. That would be great.
Unbelievable, dude.
All right, so, Vince, go ahead.
We can't hear it.
It's because I have my headset in, plugged in my computer.
Wait to just see where my business is is going to go with it. Let's say, for example, if you haven't had results, if I was William. All right, that's good. We got it. We got. So that's. She. I mean, does that not. Does that not make the connection real, like, instantly? Dude, I. I use jing to close sales like crazy, but I also use it for executive communication with my people, like, the people that I work with. So it's. It's good for everything. I do it. I got, like, thousands of jeans. Like, real quick instant videos. Like, if I want to really connect with somebody and. And, you know, show them a real quick tip, you know, and it's really huge also for, like, you know, little private deals. Like, if you have a customer in a relationship, you know, and you shoot them a jing, they appreciate the heck out of that. You know what I'm saying? So jing is like, it's everything. You know, if I could have created that company, shoot, I'd be all pumped. So that's. That's. That's huge stuff right there.
And Jing is. How much does jing cost?
It's free.
It's free. So to learn how to use Jing, of course I put it down here. Close sales on Facebook with Jing right here.
But Vince, you have a. So that's a screencast account. So that's. So you have to have a paying screencast account, correct?
No, it's free, bro, totally free. So when people open this up right here, it'll go to my YouTube video.
And you guys can check it out and down below.
It should have. Yeah, right here. Click the link below to get started. So then you just land here and you just either download it on your Windows or Mac and I give you a whole run through on how to actually do that on this tutorial video. I haven't shared this with that many people. Look, I only have 197views. I don't actively promote these kind of things. I just don't do it, you know, it's just one of those deals like you have to like kind of be on a live webinar to really see it. All right, so that's huge. What do you think about that, guys? I think it's fun.
I think that everyone that's watching right now, everyone on, if you can, underneath the video, I want you to just type in Vincent Ortega Jr. Is crushing super Saturday Special. I want the world to know because seriously guys, I mean honestly, I mean it's one of those things where if you implement these methods, you'll get results and just type it and let people know because people need to be here. This is why you want to be here. The one nugget that I always tell you I'm looking for, Boom. There's been a million of them, but that's one of them. So awesome. Man. That's definitely some good stuff there.
Yeah. For me, if I could get every single person in my organization to do that, it would just be over. I mean global Apps Network would go nuts if every single affiliate started doing that and really came connecting and it's just nuts. It's the best thing that I've ever. I started doing that about four months ago and that changed everything for me. Really. I mean to like go from a text conversation to a real. I mean it's real, you know, make it turns it into a really. I mean it's just. It's awesome. That's all there is to it. Alright, so let me go.
You were able to get the link and get it out. It didn't take long to render the video. It was so fast.
No, yeah, it's instant. So like people freak out. Kind of like when you do that, because nobody's doing that, you know what I'm saying? Like, they go, whoa, this is nuts. You know, because they think it's maybe a screenshot or something, you know, but then they realize, I mean, you're there. So. And then another thing I recommend is use like these iPhone headphones or some kind of headphones so it sounds really, really clear when you do it too. It helps. So this has been another thing that I've been doing a lot lately. I just grabbed my iPhone. I don't even have an iPhone anymore, but I had these iPhone headphones and that's why everything sounds much better. So. Alright, so let's move along to. Let's run through Facebook events real quick. I showed this on another webinar I did for events, but this is actually even better, brother. Alright, so you can check this out on obviously here I have a YouTube video, of course, again for that. And you go through these steps on there. And what's nice, the steps are actually under the YouTube video. And this YouTube video unlisted. So do not share this. This is one of those things. Like it's a not a share situation. See, it's unlisted. Share this with hardly any people as well. Alright, the other one is out there, but this one, no, don't share this. Okay, so what's gonna happen is you're gonna have to actually use Firefox for this. So everybody's gonna download Firefox first. So what I have to do is I gotta bust out my Firefox.
And.
Go to Facebook. First thing you got to do, of course, make a Facebook event. Alright, so let me log in real quick.
You guys know this yet? Like William, are you still when you do it?
Yeah. There we go. We're back in action. Okay, so I'll talk about here in a second. Okay, so when you make an event, you just go over here to events. Usually event is over here on your left side of your home page. All right, go to your events over here and on the top right, you'll see create an event. Alright, so the first things first. Let's create an event for.
Let's see. Let me go to my. We'll just use earlier.
We'll use her image and we'll just copy this to make a Facebook event. Okay, we'll do that really quick. Alright, so paste in there. Check out this awesome app by Renee.
And then another sneaky thing is put a little. It's called, it's like a star. Because that will make your Event stand up above everybody else's for the day. It's like this little star right here. Check out this awesome app by Renee.
Blah blah.
Click here if you want your own. And then right here where it says where you want to cover these links. So they're not as like obviously long but it's fine. Some people don't really care. So you add the link that right there on the where. All right. And then on privacy, you definitely want to be public. Alright. And then you just leave it. You don't even do a time. You just leave it as an all day event and you go create.
And then the new events are kind of cool. You add an event photo on the top. So we'll go from. We'll upload the photo that we downloaded over.
And.
You can drag it a little bit. I'll just put like half of it. This event, we'll just do like that. So you kind of tell it's a thing.
And then so you make sure you always your links remember you got it. Your links got to be at the very top of your event. So it's clickable. This is huge. Alright, that's always huge. And then I always. I'll post this down here again. The same thing I posted up. I always copy and paste. Gotta save your time.
And then add the photo down here as well.
If you guys do what I'm showing you with Vince Reed's stuff, Vince is gonna love me because gonna make him a lot of money. But it's gonna make you guys a lot of money too. Trust me. This is some, this is some things that change everything. Alright, so then I also do that. Put it down there as well. And then I pin the post. Okay. And then I'll just refresh the page.
And boom. So now when you pin the post right there, when you hit that little button over there on the side, pin it now no matter what, when people come in here and comment, this won't get lost. People will comment below this, which is nice. Alright, so the next step is once you get your event up now you got to get people to it because you can't just make it. So I've seen people make events and, and just expect people to show up. They don't. Alright. You have to actually invite people. When you hit this invite friends button right here.
This is going to load your friends. Now mine take a while because I have 5,000, but you'll see here in a second. Okay, this little thing up here, let me just highlight this. This right here, it says select friends from first, how many all enable scrolling all this to select right here. This is not an option that's ever there. Okay. This is something that's all in that Grease Monkey script that you're going to be going through the guide. Now if I go back to just real quick to show you, when you're following this, it's going to say install. You're going to see this on this YouTube video. How to install this. I just want to show you how freaking awesome this is. But today. But install the browser. Install Grease Monkey right here. It's a step by step, super slow guide. And that's what this does. It gives you this select button right here and you just literally hit select. Alright. And depending on how many people is how long it's gonna take for me, since I have 5,000 friends, it takes, I mean, since we're on this live hangout, it could take a little While, maybe like 30 seconds, 45 seconds normally, you know, 20 seconds, I don't know, we'll see how long it takes. But what this is doing is instead of me manually going, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click. This is doing it automatically. All right. Oh, here it goes right now. Look at, this.
Is a running. So.
Hey, Vince, can I ask you a question?
Mm.
Hey. So when you actually have this script running which is allowing you to select every one, all 5,000. So you know how some people have this like, oh, I want to separate, you know, my real life from my Internet life and my real friends from high school. I mean, like, what's going through your method of operation when you realize that you're friendly, you're sending a message to 5,000 people, you just like, you're just putting it out there and you don't mind or are you segmenting lists? Does that make sense?
Yeah. I'll tell you here in a second. Okay, here's another little secret, really fast though. Once you invite all, you don't just hit save and go, okay. Facebook doesn't really like you to do this. Like in a sense of.
They think it's not that you're spamming because these are your friends that requested you had to add all that stuff, you know what I'm saying? Like at the end of the day, there was a double transaction, so it's not like you were spamming. Right. But Facebook doesn't like for you to invite every single one of them. So you need to go through here, unselect. It doesn't even matter when you invite everybody, just unselect. Like 10 of them or so, something like that.
I don't know.
I select a few and then hit save. Okay. Because it will say something. I forget what Facebook says. Or something like that when you do that. And then you also have to do a capture.
Now, is that because. Is that because you had 5000? But let's say somebody has 1200 friends and is it best for them to check off 2 or 3 or 10 like you say? In the same method, if you only.
Have a few, I would only check off a few, you know, like three to five, you know, so, okay, so boom, all your friends have been invited to this event. So right now you see invited 100. It takes a little bit. Now 450 takes a little bit. Now there's 1050 invited.
The screen hasn't changed on outside. It still shows the capture, just so you know.
Oh, it does. Okay, so let's see if it. Let me go back to my face. All right, now we'll go back to the screen again.
Alright. Do you see it now? Is it back in action?
Yeah.
Now we're up to 2808. So it's literally going through here and inviting people as if I did it by myself, like right now, within the last five minutes, versus, like it would have taken me like four hours to do that.
3258. So it just keeps rising. The more I refresh, it'll rise. Now, all your friends on Facebook, most people have an average. I forget what the average Facebook friends list is. It's like 200 or something. 250. I mean, those are leads, you know, at the end of the day. Now.
Now, Jerry, that was a good question about.
Do you care who you're inviting? Stuff like that. Now for me, I mean, I know in my heart, my heart of hearts, right? Here's a huge difference. In my heart of hearts, anything that I ever promote is because I fully believe in it, right? So I don't care who this goes to. If they're on my friends list, they're gonna see it. And if they don't like it, they're gonna unfriend me. You see what I'm saying? Like, that's all there is to it. People will get pissed sometimes and then they will be forever grateful. You see what I'm saying? There's just. That's all there is to it in marketing and sales and anything that you're ever gonna do in life, you're never gonna make everybody happy. You know, at the end of the day, I know, you know, if somebody's on my friends list. They're on my friends. It's because of me. And they value what I want to share with the world. And if I want to share this freaking awesome app by Renee and I believe in Vince Reed, I'm gonna share with the freaking world. You know what I'm saying? I don't, I don't consider that scamming. When it's our spammy, when it's your friends, they actually said, yes, I want to be your friend. It had to go both ways. And it's also something that you fully and commit to believe in. And you know, the person Vince Reed behind it is a good person. Now there is people out here that are just promoting junk. They're promoting crappy, crappy stuff. And at the end of the day, that's a different story. We know Vince Reed is where he's at today because he has, he's fully transparent. People believe in him. We get on live webinars like this with him and we really spill our heart out there and say how much we appreciate this guy, you know, So I don't, you know, Jerry, I don't segment anything on Facebook. I let it fly, you know, I just let it fly. So if people get pissed off, let them, let them roll, bro. You know, who cares? Because at the end of the day, if you're promoting it and you believe in it, that's all that really matters. If you want to go down with that memory, you know, that's at the end of the day, I want people to remember me as a guy who was always giving some kind of value to the world. Always giving people opportunities to make a better life for themselves. And that's what this does, you know, at the end of the day. So if that makes sense to you. So what do you got? What do you think, guys? Pretty sweet that script though, man.
It is awesome.
Just boom.
Already been using it, my friend. It is hardcore. It's, it's.
You have it, Jerry. You have the select all button already.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, because you're in the fam, so you got to see that video. That's right.
Cool.
Yeah. Now, now Vince Reed's fam gets to see it. Alright, cool, man. Well, dude, that was the first like what you guys just saw. Okay? So from my Facebook status updates, the sneaky image tricks to the live events or to these events with the invite, everybody with one click of a button was the beginning of my business. Okay? That's all there is to it. And now here's another. I just want to show you guys again.
Leveraging events, leveraging leaders. Look at all these friend requests up here. Okay? You guys got to get yourself on. Like, I didn't have these before I got on this thing tonight, you know, so that's all there is to it this morning. So it's like, it's just one of those things. Like you're seeing everything. I love hangouts because you can see everything coming through fruition, full circle. So you're seeing us. I'm leveraging Vince Reed right now, essentially. Right. He's brought me on. He knows that I was gonna leverage him because he. When you're in a leader standpoint, then you leverage other people's wisdom to show how much value that you have as friends as well. So then you become a bigger leader, you know, so it's like a full circle situation. It's really, really awesome. Alright, so what I want to do now is if anybody's. I don't see anybody. Any questions down below? So we good?
Hey, Vince, I have a question for you.
What's up?
I've also done these events. Just being connected and seeing you do this training before with Vince.
My question to you is. I've actually, you know, got a few sales from using this method, but when I use this all. But I've actually gotten a. I get. Facebook is crazy with me, man. They just like do not like me for some reason. They always like send me. Like, man, you can't, you know, I guess I was sending too many or whatever events and I guess they, you know, not ban me, but they're like, you know, they just limited me. So is there a way around that or have you faced that before? I know once you send said you got.
I'm assuming you got a message on Facebook that said your Facebook friends have not accepted your invites enough and you need to wait a little bit longer before you can send another event out. Is that what you got? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's gonna happen only to people who have utilized this a lot and got their use out of it. And then it'll come. Facebook will cut back and do that for you. They'll bring you. Essentially, you're gonna get it back. You'll be able to do it again. So all it is and what you want to do, I think the trick is to it instead of. Because what happens is when these Facebook events are over, you know, like, and you forget to update it and also there's another huge tip. You need to update these every single day. You need to go back to them. And update them to the date of. So they're always in people's Facebook event categories. But like I said on that document, I got all that training for you guys. But what the deal is with that is I think it's just one of those things where Facebook, they want to make sure that people are accepting it. So what you need to do is when you're done with these events, you need to cancel them. Because what happens is even though you don't cancel them, you still have a whole bunch of events that are still running. You see what I'm saying? So it looks like you have multiple thousands of people after you do like eight of these events that haven't accepted versus just however many. Because at the end of the day, the thing about this marketing is people don't need to say join event. All you're really wanting them to do is click the link. You know what I'm saying? So that's like the huge difference because people don't really sit. They don't hit join. I don't want people to hit join. I just wanted to click the freaking link. You know what I mean? So that's the huge difference right there.
Cool question.
Event.
Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, man. So once the event is actually created and it's sent out to these thousands of people or thousand or two thousand or five thousand in your case, so now it's sitting in there and the invite is actually sitting in people's inbox. So you're saying, and I realize that you can update. So let's say you set it to be an eight o', clock, you know, Saturday night event. You can update that literally up to that minute or even after the event starts. But who gets the update? So when you actually update the event and you change the title just a bit, and it may say, you know, we're going live in 10 minutes. Who sees that? Does that just. Are those just the people that, that actually hit join? Are those the people that are seeing they update or what's.
Every single. Every single person who gets invited gets an update.
Real. Yeah. So it doesn't matter. So when you come in, I never do a time. Okay? So don't ever do a time unless it is just a one time event. Because when you, you want it to be all day, you don't want it to end or quit or anything. You always want it to be in people's home feed. And so everybody who gets an invite gets up here on the top left gets a notification that you've been invited to this event. So you guys probably all have notification right now, since we're friends, that you got invited to this event. And so when you come back in here tomorrow and you go into edit when the event's over and I go and update it to April 28th, you're going to get another notification up here that says Vince Ortega Jr. Has updated this event. Now another thing you can do to get another notification up here is come down here and post a picture or post something else. You know what I'm saying? Like if you post anything in here it's going to say Vincent Ortega Jr. Posted something. And check out this awesome app by Renee. So the more so you can redo that or keep the activity up really high. Now another thing I noticed which is almost scary is you can message guests. So I've never even done that, which I wouldn't even do. Now that gets annoying. Somebody's put me in a conversation with a ton of people on Facebook. That's super, super annoying. So at the end of the day, the most I would ever do is just a regular event. Now if you had a small group where it was just a private deal now, message guests would be pretty cool, you know what I mean? But I've never used that. That's a new feature that I just saw pop up about three weeks ago. I'm never going to use it because now that's different. When you start getting in people's inboxes right here and then their phones start blowing up and lighting up all day because there's like 100 people in a Facebook event or in a Facebook chat that gets really irritating. So that's my $0.02 on that action.
Other than that, I mean, let's get to what Vince Reed copied me on.
Not that long ago.
So are we running out of time, Vince? What are we doing?
Like 20 minutes, 25 minutes?
Alright, cool, cool, cool, cool. Alright, so back to this bad boy. Now sneak on my Facebook advertising. Now here's what Vince and all you guys are awesome. I'm getting a whole bunch of messages from everybody that's on this hangout. That's really cool. Alright, so what we're gonna do now is you guys are gonna look at my Facebook ads.
And I don't ever.
Do this real quick though that I'm gonna do. I post, I posted the link to this form on the comments and the way we have is it all the comments go live to Facebook. This link that's on my Facebook page or in the comments area, I'm probably gonna it put delete that the minute this event is over.
I don't want the world to know about what he's sharing. So the. Vincent ortegajr.com Super Sat Vince make sure you write that down right now. Maybe you should even. Actually, maybe you should. I don't know if you have something to type it out so people can write it down and remember it today.
Want me to do it?
Yeah, on the screen and that way we can get that off of there to get to this document. I don't want that. So it's very simple, guys. Vincent ortegajr.com Super Sat Vince does that work?
Is. Is anything popped up when I go to screen share? No, it only does it when I do this, doesn't it? Because it says it now below you See how it says it below me? Yeah. So everybody, real quick, write it. Yeah, that's a good idea. I would get rid of it. Of this.
Yeah. So do it. Actually, let's just chill for a second. Everybody write that down. Vincent ortegajr.com forward/super sat Vince everybody who's on here live right now, go ahead and write it down. Yeah, that's a good idea. We'll get rid of it. Yeah, because Facebook comments, do they kind of show too much sometimes?
Yeah, I just deleted that post. Let me go over to the Gulf Wax Network side, make sure that's gone. I didn't realize that there were so many goodies.
Come on now. You can't bring me on and not expect me to stay.
I knew there was gonna be the goodies you're about to share, but I didn't know you were gonna like just, you know, blow up the whole event like this, man.
Crushing it.
Awesome. All right, so let's. I think we're good. Yeah, you guys definitely write that down. And that's awesome for you to do that for everyone. Much appreciated.
All I know is I want some pina coladas next time we see each other. Absolutely.
My man Vinny Ortega loves pina coladas.
You see them? Make no excuses or whatever. Make sure you get a pina colada.
Yes. A frozen one. A solid frozen one. I don't know why I'm like obsessed with right now. Alright, let's get into these ads real quick. I got a few running right now and let's see, I'll show. I didn't realize till today this has been one of my favorite ones to run. But I didn't realize until today that I somehow it canceled. So it hadn't been running the last few days. So the clicks and impressions are jacked up. But normally, I mean they were, it was getting, I can't even remember what it was now. But here's the, here's one that I really recommend you do. It's a Facebook ad that is your story which it doesn't have to be my, it doesn't have to be a professional video or anything like that. But this is kind of what it looked like. And this really got a lot of attraction to me and a lot of people just you know, seeing the value of it. But people would see this and I would put this in front of the right people. I just kind of show you what it is first. They'll see it over here and it's kind of like my vision for the world. It's using your divine gifts to empower the world. Like that's my whole thing. And so people clicked it up and they watched my story and they kind of saw what I was all about and they go over here and they click and they land on my website, alright. And then so they kind of would just go through my value driven website. My website's not always business, business, business, you know what I'm saying? So what my first thing I would recommend for people to do is to. It doesn't have to be a professional story. Not everybody's got money to drop 10, 15 grand on a story like this. But at least just get yourself out there in front of the industry is what I like to say. Okay. So kind of what I do and I think probably Vince, it's kind of hard to like go through it step by step and you know how to do it. You could probably, it probably better for you to teach them on like global apps network like how to use that or like you know, maybe utilize a video of yours too. But what, what my click through rates and things like that like normally like when we were cruising, I was spending, I spent 61 bucks for like 250 clicks or something which is really, really good for people to see who I am. Now who I targeted is huge because in the end of the day when I talk about leveraging leaders, okay, it's huge. So my target market was no Excuses Summit Jonathan Budd My lead system pro Eric Warren Mark Hoverson I wanted to be in this industry and be a leader of this industry. As you see that targets 34,000 people. That's plenty of people for me to you know, get my face in front of. So pretty much anybody in our industry now has seen this story. Like I've, this has been seen thousands and thousands of times, like I said, the last thing I've ever done was it was like I was paying about 40 cents a click for people to see my story, which is awesome. You know, it's good to have your face in front of the right people. Now, Vince, what I recommend, obviously, if I was to teach my community to really drive traffic to a certain place is in Vince's situation, like, maybe this is some homework for you, brother. What I would do is do a really badass video for your community. Right. I hate saying badass. My bad.
But do a really good video for your community that's about global apps network and let them leverage your name. Right. And utilize Facebook ads leveraging the Vince Reid name is what I would probably do. So then you would use his video with your affiliate links above his video about Vince, talking about. About the global apps network. You know what I'm saying? Wouldn't that be pretty sweet?
Absolutely.
Yeah. So I would think that would be a good one. So this is just Facebook posts. So for example, like, this was just like a video that I uploaded to my Facebook. So let me do, like, I could show like one. Let me show a few more examples really quick of what I use.
Let me do. So here is like a. Here's how even personal I get with some of my stuff. So look at this. I got. I only spent $62 on this, and I got a thousand clicks. Okay. Oh, yeah, my bad.
Okay, so here's another one I did the other day. This is just a Facebook post I did. And this is. She. This is. I just actually, I'm kind of freaking out looking at this. This is really awesome for Facebook. But. Okay, so I got a thousand clicks for only 62 bucks. What is that click rate? I don't even know anybody good with math. That's really damn good. That's all I know. But what this was was just my story video or it was my story written out. Okay, so for example, here's what people saw.
Yeah, that's ridiculous for Facebook. Okay, so I started out with people like Drama. So look at this. Five months ago, I was a hopeless loser with no future, a baby on the way. So people love people's like, drama. It's just kind of like. It's not Drama, but it's like people love to know that they aren't by themselves in this world because most people at the end of the day are in not a good place. So people clicked on this, and I just, like shared my freaking heart. Like anything that ever happened in my Life I went through and I shared, shared, shared. And I look, I leveraged Mark Overson in my story so you could leverage Vince Reed or something, whatever you want to leverage. And then I shared, shared, shared. And then I had people land on my blog post. That's right on my Facebook or right on my.
Blog. Right? So people are clicking through, seeing who I am. This ad is killing it. I mean, so you can. You use pictures and things like that, and all they are is just post on your fan pages. So let me just go to, like, my fan page real quick and let me do the same freaking thing that we've been doing all day. Renee's getting all kinds of love right now. So let me go over here.
And I'm gonna copy this.
And I'm gonna go back to my fan page. Check out this awesome app by Renee. Upload the video or upload the photo that I downloaded earlier.
Click here if you want your own. Okay, so then I'll just post this.
Okay, so boom. So this is just this Facebook status update. That's it. Not very many people are going to see it. Like, let me give you an example.
So 371 people saw this, and I didn't promote it. Right. So that post, and that's usually about average. And look how many freaking. I have 5,802 likes. So Facebook is like, they're haters on fan pages. So they make you want to. They make you have to promote it now for your fan page to do anything. But it's also really cool. So you can see over here that they can they show you right here what it would look like over here on the right side if you did the Facebook ad. So let me show you how I'd start this. I wouldn't recommend coming down here and hit boost post because all this is going to do is people who like your page and their friends. You want to get this in front of the right people. Okay, so what you need to do is you need to go to facebook.com ads.
And you need to come up here to manage your ads or create an ad. You might have to set up an account first, but it takes seconds. Okay, so if I go to manage my ads.
Once you start rolling, you see I spend decent money on them. So, like, I average probably $50 a day in ads. Lately I've been up at about 80, sometimes the highest. That goes about 100 a day, 200 a day. When you're starting out, you can literally, with my story video, I did $10 a day and it was fine, you know, so you don't have to spend this much money.
Are you seeing immediate return or are you doing this for branding? What's your mindset when you're spending money.
For? It's been doing both. You know, I've never, like. I've never been that guy who's like, nailed everything down to. Like I said, I didn't even know that that ad was doing good. That other ad, I didn't know it was killing it, you know? And so for. If anything, it's about branding, right? So no matter what. So a lot of people think, okay, I didn't get a sale off of this click, and I spent $100 in this last week, and I didn't get one freaking sale. So that's gonna happen all the freaking time. That's all there is to it. But at the end of the day, what happened was your face got in front of the right people. If you target the right people, people are starting to see your face. Now what happens is when people see your face for about a month, right? And it's like 30 days or so, people are like, I've seen that guy a lot. You know what I mean? Like, he's doing something, I guess, whatever. But they might not click on it yet. When they see your face the next month, then they're going, hmm, you know? And this even comes in people's mind, obviously, this dude's got some money or something, or. Because even when I was spending $10 a day, you know, which isn't that much money, you just forget a meal or something, or eat some ramen noodles instead of your lunch, you know, just do that instead. People are. If you put it in front of the right people, people are starting to see your face over and over and over again. So I did $10 a day for, I don't know, maybe like, month and a half. You know, I didn't spend that much money. So then I started ramping it up a little bit because I saw clicks start to happen. I saw people starting to really see it, you know, and then. So I started ramping it up and ramping it up. And what happens is that work that you put in, even though I didn't make that, how many sales I was getting, my branding going, my face, my face, my face, my face. People saw me. People saw me. People saw me. Now what? I'm spending this money. I'm getting a lot more sales. Like, it's almost to the point now where it's like.
I don't even look how much money I'm spending anymore, I don't care because I'm getting so much sales coming in, I'm getting so much opt ins coming in, I'm getting all this stuff. It didn't happen at first though because people want to know that you're going to be around. People want to see that leadership out of you because at the end of the day, anybody and everybody can come in here and post a Facebook ad for a few days and get their face in front of the right people, but who cares? You have to show that consistent, you know, leadership quality if you're ever going to get anywhere in this industry, if you're ever going to get anywhere in entrepreneur life in general, right? So when you get that tipping point, I'm at like the rise. I tipped over and now I'm at the rise point. So anything I do now, it's. I don't, I trust me, I'm humble as hell, right? But it's almost like you can't screw up once you put in the work, okay? It's like anything we do right now is just turning into gold because we've put in our time, we put in our investment, we've put in our consistent. You know, I've worked 48 hours a day before. You know, I've never, I've gone days where I haven't slept. You know, I was willing to do things that people weren't willing to do to get to this level. You know, most people aren't willing to do that. You know, they want to come home for their eight hour a day job or something and they don't want to work anymore and they want to sit on the couch because they're so tired. You know, screw that crap, you know what I mean? Like, if you really want to get to the next level, you better get your ass on this computer and work until your freaking eyes start feeling like they're going to bleed if you really want to be that successful. Now I'm to the point where I could do whatever the heck I want, but my visions are so big. I want a freaking jet. I want all these amazing things. I can't stop either, you know, I'm saying I'm still grind mode. I could if most people would be happy in the situation I'm at, but I'm not happy because my vision so damn big. And you know what's cool about this game is that your vision just gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. You know what I'm saying? So I love it, man. And Then when you hang out with Vince Reeds and Mark Hoverson's and all these people who are growing and never stopping because Vince Reed's the same situation, he could live like a king the rest of his life just by getting on his computer a couple hours a day. But the man wants to grow bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. You got to hang around people like that. That's why I'm growing, because I'm in that different space now. So when you get like just the fact that these guys are on here with us today, they're in a different space now, they're hanging with the right people, their visions are getting bigger. You know, your visions are getting bigger. If you're watching this hangout right now because you're seeing what I'm talking about, you're seeing what's happening right now in front of your eyes. So it's just, it's one of those things like when you, when you think about Facebook ads, instead of conversions, turn it into the branding piece first. And don't worry about sales happening instantly. Just make sure that your face is constantly in front of the right people. So let me get back to where I was going with this really fast and let me show you. So we created that.
Standard. Let me go back to it real quick so I know I went off on a tangent. My bad. So right here, check out this awesome app by Renee right here. As you can see, got to get that link clickable and all that good stuff. Boom. So now what we're going to do is we go to our Facebook ads. We go up here to create an ad.
And you find your Facebook fan page. So there's my fan page right there. And you go to promote page posts. You don't do any of this other stuff. Now what I'm seeing right here is that there's a gap and there's no link. Okay. But that's fine because what happens is they're gonna have to click on that anyways. Alright, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna. You can pick all any of these posts that you do on your fan page. You can promote any of them. Okay, so let me see, here's like the hopeless loser one right there. I could pick that one that's like, that was like from an email. Alright, so you want to pick cool ones like I did. I promoted this one about when I went on a live event. Because live events are so huge. I wanted people to see how dedicated I was in my business. You see what I'm Saying so you just utilize it. So here's the latest one. We're talking about the app. All right. And then so we'll go down here. I just kind of leave all this stuff checked. It should be checked for you. It's standard material stuff.
Up here in location. I'm kind of lazy so I, I would recommend adding like UK and all that stuff, but I'm kind of lazy so I don't ever do that. I don't, you know, it's whatever. And so on precise interest. This is huge. This is the branding piece. So there's plenty of people to go around in this industry, right? And this is a fun industry and I like the people that we're in. So I target Marco.
I target Jonathan Budd.
I target Eric Wolf.
Baby Boomers. I don't know if you guys know him, but he's the freaking man. I target my lead.
As every single one of them are Internet marketers. I target no Excuses Summit with that coming up, you want it. So when I go to no excuses summit, anybody who's gonna be there is gonna know who the hell I am because I've been in front of them for like the last month and a half or two. Been promoting in front of them. If Vince Reed would pop up here, he's gonna follow up here. 1.
No. So I'm in the Facebook community world.
I know. Yeah, you've never done the Facebook too. Seriously. So, alright, so that's kind of the main people I promote. I even like if you guys know who Mike Dillard is, a big time guy in the industry and you can go on and so whoever you respect in this industry and who those kind of people, you want to just target them. So all these people are my target market essentially. Like, and I love this industry, you know, so you could go on and on about people in the industry. Just see if you find them, you know what I mean? Like, see if you find whoever you're thinking of in your mind, there's probably people that you guys are thinking of right now. And so what I do is that now here's the huge thing that I do now, okay, up here on the age too, you want to change the age limit. I usually at least go 25 and up. You want to make sure they got some money, hopefully. Alright, so then down here what I do is I do target people whose friends are connected to a page. Now if you don't have that many people on your fan page yet, then you don't want to do that. But you just see that Cut it in half. So now when people are getting promoted to now people are clicking on the link, but they're having friends that are in connections with me. So therefore that causes transparency and that person can go off and ask that person, is Vince a good guy? Right. So that's huge. When you get to the level where you have enough Facebook fans, you can do that. But when you don't have enough Facebook fans, you really can't do that because there's not going to be that many people that are connected with you. You can probably do that with after like 100, 200 people. So.
Which means when people are seeing ads on the side, it's gonna show my ad. Plus it's gonna say that, say for example, Vince Reed likes me too, you know, so then that causes the social proof and transparency. And then down here I just put, I just try to remind myself of what it is. So global and then campaign. I usually start at 10 bucks a day and see what happens. Facebook's pretty cool now. You don't even have to worry about clicks or anything like that. They optimize everything for you, which is nice. And they don't screw you. I mean, I've seen, you saw on that one thing, they did a great job with doing whatever need to be done. So they'll do. You don't have to worry anymore. Back in the day you used to have to know, well, should I do how much a click or how much an impression, blah, blah, blah. Just let it run, you know, and let Facebook do it. Okay, so then just place order.
10 bucks a day. I mean, I would recommend anybody start out 10 bucks a day. I mean, that's just one little meal. I mean, why not give it a shot? But I mean, with, I don't know, with Vince in the global apps and all this crazy new stuff, who knows? I mean, because I'm gonna start doing that with the, with the admob and all that in movie. This is nasty. So, alright, so as you can see right here, you can check these out to see what they look like. So if I view on site, this is what the user is gonna see.
Right here. So they'll say, so where you see where it says Vincent Ortega Jr. Likes Vince Ortega junior's photo, that's gonna say like Vince Reed likes Vincent Ortega junior's voter or things like that. Because I targeted people who are connected to me as well. So people will click on it, it says, check out this awesome app. Boom. They'll open it up and bam. They'll go right to the affiliate link. And hopefully Vince Reed converts for me. So that's kind of how it's done on that. Now, I recommend, if you want to get to the next level, bring it to capture pages and your blogs and all that good stuff. Now, it created two videos, so here's another post that it created. It created two different Facebook posts. That's the sponsored story. Then this is just a regular one. Does it both automatically. Boom. Check out this awesome app by Renee. Click here if you want your own. People are like, what? Renee's got a cool app. Bam. And then check out this awesome app, Bam. People will check it out and go right there through your affiliate link. So that's. That's what's been doing really well. So pictures and images. I never do regular Facebook ads anymore. And specifically Vince Reed, he started doing the video ones, which are really, really good. Those are huge. Like, I've been seeing some really good results with those. So, for example.
Let'S see.
Bless you, brother.
Thanks, man.
Here's one right here. So I'm not stepping on anybody toes here, but this is for the rippling thing. I'm sure if you're on Vince Reed's list, go with him and everybody else on here. But this is what I've been doing for rippling, which is kind of big. Let's see here. So what are my stats? I got 700 clicks. Okay, here's my thing. 714 clicks for 124 spent, which is still pretty damn good. Like, that's not bad at all. And so here's what people are seeing.
1600 people join us in less than four days in rippling that ruins 59 countries are like, what? What the hell is that? Boom. Open that up and bam. This video auto plays.
Okay, so that plays a really cool, awesome video. Now, Vince Reed, you started doing this with your own stuff. So you started popping up, talking about global apps network and driving people to there and all that good stuff. But videos are huge because people are landing on this and they're seeing it in front of the right target market, and bam. So then they go here and they click the links that I put in here. You put your affiliate links, your blog links, all that good stuff. So Facebook's killing it with these ads, man. I mean, they're doing a really good job. It's not cheap like in Moby and all that stuff. But, you know, for Facebook, this is.
That's the thing.
It is cheap.
And I don't want what we're seeing with mobile to disqualify what is cheap and what's that? I mean, this is very. I mean, think about it. For, you know, under 50 cents, you're getting your product out in front of the world. You're branding yourself as a leader. And that's why I asked you to put question. I said, when you're doing this, what's your mindset? And it's not about how much money you make that day.
It's about.
He's committed to promoting and branding his business and getting it out there to the world and sharing it, and the results show. And it didn't happen overnight. He had to build that brand. He had to basically share with people his message. And now you're looking at the end results. I do have a question for you, though, and I believe the man, Mr. Mark Hoverson, is probably popping in right now as he's about to crush it. But I do have a question, Vince, before we let you go on your ads, what have you seen with your promoted posts? Have you had any experience of them not getting approved, or are they mostly.
Getting approved on the promoted post? Oh, they always get approved from me for whatever reason. I mean, a lot of people do say they have problems. The thing I think what happens is if you get, you know, a few ads promoted and things like that, and you start spending some money consistently, it's kind of like lubricating the system. Like, they like you now, you know what I'm saying? Like, they want to see that you're gonna be consistent and run just a constant ad, at least $10 a day, something like that, you know, and then so I don't ever have problems anymore. So now that I'm doing like 80 to 100 to $150 a day, like, they don't. They're good. And I've never had issues. And I even do ads where. Where people say you can't do them and there's too much text on it. But I think it's just one of those trust things, you know, like Facebook, because real people are approving these ads, so they have to, you know, they'll start to see your name more consistently and start trusting you more and more. You know what I mean?
One thing I would say that I only had an issue with some types of lead capture pages, depending on which ones you're using. If you do like you're doing, I notice you drive the traffic to, like, a blog post. You'll have a video and then a blog post, and your information will be there. If you have any issues not getting Approved. Change it up a little bit.
Maybe you put a video and link it to your blog post and then put a link to the opt in form on the post or I mean on your blog post if you're having difficulties. But my point is, if you do do an ad and it doesn't get approved, don't let that be like, oh, I can't get approved. Figure out another way around it. Keep posting. Keep doing different strategies to get the ad up there.
Yeah, go ahead.
I was gonna say another huge thing is when you're doing the Facebook post from the actual post versus just doing like old school used to be, like make a little image and do an ad straight to a capture page. That stuff doesn't get approved very often, ever. Because you have to have privacy and disclaimers and all that stuff under every page. The easier ones is to definitely, you know, the promoted post through what I just showed people. That gets approved a lot more often, I hear as well.
Awesome. And also I've noticed that the shortened links sometimes can get you not approved, like if you. Or something like that. So I just want to make sure you guys have every angle to make sure your stuff works. Man, you crushed it, my friend.
Rock and roll.
Anyone that was here. And again, if you came.
Make sure.
You leave a comment on the bottom of the page. If you're watching. Obviously, if you're watching this, you're watching it through Global Apps Network. And this is why it's important for you to share and get not only yourself here, but your communities here. Because again, I truly believe this method of being able to deliver this kind of information directly to you right in your living room, right in your pajamas, where you sound asleep in your eye. And you know, it's funny, I'm looking at it as like, you know, we started more and more people were coming in as we were getting going because we started a little earlier. But this is what it's all about. So I can't tell you enough, man. You're more than welcome to keep hanging out. I think this is just, it's awesome. So thank you.
I'll chill with my homie Mark for a little bit Saturday.
And that's why. And people were like, why Saturday? I'm like, because most of the time people don't have a lot of excuses not to be here. Especially in the morning, not Sunday where people are at church. Most of the time you're laying around doing something and pop in an hour and see what's going on. So that's why we picked Saturday, and we're so pumped up about it. So awesome, man. Thank you. Thanks again. I can't tell you enough. I can't wait to see you and make no excuses. And I'm sure this is just the.
Beginning, man, for sure.
By the way, you're gonna be speaking, and I'm just gonna make it, just do it for you at our live event, by the way. So on the stage there.
Rock on, brother.
That being said, it's time to bring in the man, Mr. Mark Hoverson. And, you know, I'm so excited that he's here. And, you know, I think that the community is blessed to have you here sharing the value, because I always text him. I'm like, mark, I need your wisdom. And he always delivers to me. And again, like, you know, you always want to.
Connect with people who have done things and been there before. And one of my favorite quotes is, the wise learns more from the fool than the fool learns from the wise. Which I take as even someone that's not doing things right, you want to look at that person and be like, what are they doing that's making them get those kind of end results? And then you need to be smart enough to say, well, what is that person doing that's getting them the results? And be able to extract that as well. So I want to bring Mark in. I really have no idea what he's going to share. People are asking, like, Vince, what do you want me to talk about? The only person I really knew I wanted to specifically share something was Vince. As far as his methods and strategy, I think are awesome. But in terms of Mark, what do you want me to share? I'm like, dude, just tell him how you make eight figures on the Internet. And I think they'll be. So I have no idea what he's going to share, but I know that it's going to be a lot of wisdom. And, you know, the stage is set for you, my friend. So everyone start to let everyone know that Mark's talking and speaking, and they get in. If they're not on in global apps network, they can basically pay 19 bucks right now and get in and witness the rest of this event. So this is a great way for you to also potentially get some sales. So definitely post your link. So let me shut up and let you do your thing. Mark, so pumped up. What's going on, man?
Oh, I am very pumped to be here.
Very pumped.
Got William in the house.
William, you've been growing like a monster lately, man.
Thank you, sir.
What's been Your biggest. I mean, I just hopped on, so you probably shared something already. But like, you've had such a transformation the last couple years. It's been awesome, huh?
Yeah.
Unbelievable.
Yeah.
Just learning from you guys, man, you know, always talk to you about it.
Well, so what I was thinking now, I've never. I don't really know the hangout, like how to do this stuff or whatever, but I'd like to be able to communicate with the audience. So, Vince, where am I able to do that or like see what they comment? Because I kind of want it to be like a ping pong back and forth.
Well, if you are logged into global apps network, you'd be able to see where we're streaming it underneath it, comments. But if you'd like, I can be the guy watching the comments for you. Okay, we might.
You might be the.
You might be the medium.
I'll be the medium today.
All right, so what I want to do is I think I can share my screen a little bit. Wow, is this thing amazing, this technology?
Guys, click, share your screen and then desktop. We're watching you live.
All right, how about now?
Do you guys see me?
Okay, yeah.
My screen.
Yep, you're good.
Do you see my Solomon CEO?
You there?
See, I don't see myself anymore. Wow, this is complex to me. All right, do you guys see my screen though? Like the secret number one here?
Yeah, your money, brother.
All right, so what I want to do is I want to chat about and I want to go back and forth with you guys a little bit because for me, what really my secret. Like, Vince, when you said that I was going to share secrets of my eight figure stuff, when I was in the mobile home, I was qualifying for welfare for five consecutive years. So we had five years of welfare. I never took it, but I qualified for it. I was making about 38,000 per year. I had a pregnant wife, I had two kids. I had no mentor. And I started a business. When I started my business in my mind when I was in about eighth grade, my pastor said you should read one proverb a day, which is King Solomon. So I'd read that book like a thousand times and I started categorizing. When there was a little verse on business, I put a B by it. When there was a verse on relationships.
I put an R by it.
When there was a verse on.
When there was a verse on speaking, I'd put an S by it. Well, anyway, so when I got back into business.
The only mentor I knew I could have was Solomon. And so What I did was I would take a verse like this and I started going through all the B's, right for business. And I began to pretend in my mind, like, literally the movie theater of my mind. I'd make everyone, every one of these verses manifest in my imagination. And I'd ask, how would I apply this in my life immediately? And what would it look like? What I want to do is kind of go back and forth and play around a little bit on what I did, because it's really my secret. So is that cool, Vince? That's what I want to do. I want to really share my secret.
Can I do it?
I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve right now.
All right, so here we go. And I want a little interaction here, too. So it says, the weight of the lazy man is a hedge of thorns, but the way of the upright is a highway. So I would imagine in my life, my life, even though I was working at a factory at one point, and the manager at the factory said I was the best employee he had ever seen. So he had managed at this factory for years, and he said I was the very best employee he had ever seen. But my life was a hedge of thorns. But I wasn't being lazy, or was I. See, I believe that laziness, it's actually lazier now. This is going deep down the rabbit hole here, but I actually believe it's lazier to not engage your mind to the highest level of vibration you can get it. We have this brilliant mechanism of our mind. And really, even though I was slaving with a grinding thing, grinding in this factory on fiberglass propellers, and I was sweating and I was working physically as hard as I could mentally, I was lazy. I was not reading the books. I was not reaching out to the mentors. I was not thinking about my network work. I was not thinking about expanding my wealth, my influence, my power, my potential. In reality, I was extremely lazy. Now, this isn't like judgment on me. This is just. When I looked at this verse, I said, what does lazy mean? I thought, you know what? You can be mentally lazy, and it's a hedge of thorns, which hedge of thorns means life is hard, it's slow, it's painful. It's like you're walking in a hedge of thorn thorns, which have those thorn bushes. So it's cut, it scrapes, it's slow, it's painful, it's irritating. But it says, but the way of the upright is a highway. So I thought to myself, I'm going to start thinking upright I'm going to start engaging my mind with every possible thing I have. And what a highway does compared to a hedge of thorns. A highway is clear, it's fast, it represents speed, it represents transformation, transportation from one place to another faster. I would literally sit on this verse and I would meditate it, and I would pretend that I would see my life instantly growing. Boom, quantum growth. Boom, quantum growth. And I had an expectation that my life was going to become infinitely easier, infinitely faster, infinitely more pleasurable, all because I was engaging all my facilities of my mind and my body and my heart and my tongue and everything I had. I was going to go after it with every freaking thing I had.
This is how I literally went from 38,000 a year. And with futuristic, Jonathan and I, we did 3.4 million in 10 days just a few short years later. So I would say to everyone listening, if this is true, and I'm just toying around with it, it's some ancient stuff, it's a few thousand years old. But if it's true that you are one elegant idea away from transformation and speed that you never knew, you are one idea away, one of the things that I. You're one relationship away, you're one idea away, you're one new business away, you're one piece of content away, you are on the edge of epiphany. And if you live in that expectation and you get an idea and you're not lazy with it, and you run with it, it can change everything immediately. It can happen so fast, it's dizzying. Like Vince Vincent Ortega. I don't know how much story he shared, but when we met at Jonathan's house that month, he made like $2,000 the month before we met. And then within 60 days after we met, he was pumping like 20, 30, $40,000, $50,000 a month because he engaged his mind, he engaged his network, he engaged just everything. He wasn't doing webinars. I said, vince, you've got to do webinars. So he went on a webinar terror. And then sales started pouring in like crazy. He wasn't closing sales, so I said, you got to watch my 21, word for word closing strategy. So he lived on it like his daily bread. And the next day he started closing sales, and his life changed so fast. Vince, am I telling the truth or am I just making stuff up here?
I was thinking the same thing. Like during this conversation earlier, I was talking about people, whereas I was constant. There was days I didn't sleep for two days. I Mean, I went from. This is the scripture that changed everything for me right in the beginning. So yeah, man, that's it. That's it.
This is the mother tongue, my friends. This is a great question to ask yourself is right here. I'm going to offer this course at the end of my talk too. So if you like what you hear, get ready to buy it.
Okay?
So get yourself some time to accept this. And I started saying this to myself, I allow myself to discover. Like, I literally would Google my mind with this question. I allow myself to discover the easiest, fastest and best way to make the most money with the least amount of human effort and zero guilt. That's a mouthful of information. Can you guys see my face or is it just my screen or just in your screen? All right, you know what? Let's throw my face on there just for fun then. I feel like I'm talking to you guys a little better. Is that cooler? Is that a little better? Anyway.
What I started to do was literally say to myself, I allow myself to discover. Now just say it with me a little bit now in your heart of hearts. I allow myself to discover the easiest, the fastest and the best way to make the most money with the least amount of human effort and zero guilt.
By programming myself with that, I have discovered. I've had ideas that have made me a lot of money very fast and they've delivered people a lot of value and it hasn't taken a lot of my time. I mean, it's crazy. But my point is just on this one, that the way the lazy man is a hedge of thorns. So if your life is hard, the best thing you can possibly do for yourself is say, life is hard. Right now I'm grinding out the bills every time. I'm not doing the things my heart wants to do. I'm not buying the gifts for people that I want to buy. I'm not hanging out with the people I want to hang out. I'm not eating where I want to eat. When I go out to eat, I order the cheapest damn thing on the menu. I'm not even eating the healthiest food.
I want to eat.
It's really good to just get diagnostic on your life and go, this is a hedge of thorns. I don't get to travel where I want to travel. I don't get to own what I want to own. I don't have the computer I want. I don't have the phone I want. I don't have the car I want. What most people do is they just say well, we shouldn't want those things. You should just be content. Just be content. Well, I believe in being content and having peace. I also believe that laziness causes a hedge of thorns. And you should be really like, I think I'm ready for a highway in my life.
Okay?
So when you engage everything, you just carry this expectation.
Okay?
So, Vince, I don't know if there's a way to, like, have people raise their hands or, like, I don't know.
Comments, but people are. I'm just watching all the comments, and people are just. They're feeling what you're saying.
This is what I want you to do. I want you to live and carry in your heart the expectation that your life is going to be easier, it's going to be better, things are going to happen for you faster than you thought. Because it's all possible. If it's in your expectation, if it's in your intention. Every freaking day I wake up with an epiphany or with the expectation that I'm an epiphany away from a good idea.
I'm one little thought.
I'm one little tipping point away from a new level of wealth, a new level of influence, everything. I live in that state of expectation, and that's what makes life really fun and interesting for me.
All right?
So, I don't know, blink your hand or do a smiley face or something.
If you're getting value.
Who's on applause duty?
What's that?
I think Martin was our mc, was doing the applause, but I would say that was nice.
Martin, you're awesome.
With your business. You're one idea away. You're one relationship away. You're one strategy away. If you took Ortega's Facebook stuff and you implemented it, you could double your lead flow in a day. If you double your lead flow, theoretically, you should double your income.
In theory.
Then you're making the pot of people that you can interact with. It's just heightening. This is simple math to me. You're one idea away from a health breakthrough. You're one idea from a relationship breakthrough.
That's secret number one. I have 21 of these puppies. We're only going to cover three today. Secret number two, this mother is crazy. This one, really. I'm going to tell you a story that's going to border on unbelievable, but this is what happened. So I come up to this verse, and it says, do you see a man who excels in his business? He will stand, which means serve. He will stand before the kings, not the ordinary people. Which is better translated shady, obscure, Right? Shady people. Kings in the Bible usually represent like honor, prestige, integrity, and shady people are like.
Slimers. I would imagine. What would this look like in my life right now? I was brand new in the industry at the time. This was a few years ago. There were two icons and only two. Mike Dillard was the first eight figure earner in our industry, in our little online space industry. And Ann Sieg was another eight figure earner. Those were the only two names I even knew. I didn't even know any other names because nobody was out there. It was just Ann or Mike. That was it.
I looked at this and I said, do you see a man who excels in his business, which just means speed? Do you see a person who's speedy in their business? I would imagine that I was going to be the fastest action taker immediately. Meaning what most people do is if this is like a culvert and an idea comes in or a strategy, you're given a strategy I would implement beyond my knowledge point. So the minute I heard about Google AdWords, I spent $100 in the first hour. I knew nothing. There was no course at the time that I know of. All I did was I heard about Google AdWords and I spent $100 and I placed a bunch of ads. What I did was I put my action primary, okay, so I had a piece of knowledge and then I put my action primary. What most people do is the exact opposite. Let me give you an illustration. What most people do is they just hear Vincent Ortega give a strategy for sponsored links. So if that was me starting back then I would already have right now sponsored links on Facebook. But what most people do like, oh, sponsored links. That's a good idea. Oh, I heard about blog. I should get a blog. But the action hasn't happened yet. Oh, there's this book. I definitely should buy that book. Oh, there's this course. Oh, that's conference after. No excuses. Then I'm going to turn it on. Now I have a coaching call after the coaching call. Now I'm going to do this and then I'm going to do this and then I'm going to do this. I should really do that. Then all of this happens here and it causes a constipation in your brain. Literally. You get constipated because there's no velocity, movement moving through it. Your action. Man, this thing looks like.
This always looks like this, which makes it even more funny. But the action is like one little action for all these pieces of content. What A master does is a master. Sorry, A master flips the equation. Am I making sense right now? A master takes one piece of information, acts beyond their knowledge point. An amateur thinks they have to get all the perfect, and then they act.
Vince, am I making sense?
Dude, you're killing it.
This is the stuff. Is anyone commenting on this? Because this is the problem of the industry. People are scared to act or whatever. They're not confident to act or they don't have permission to act. So let me give you permission.
Act.
Act beyond your level of expertise. In fact, when you do that, here's what happens. When you do that and you're acting. So you have one idea and then you start posting.
In the physics of it right now, there's an energy suck going where you actually going to start pulling in ideas because you need the ideas as food and as fuel because you're so busy out here that ideas just start getting sucked in. And this is how speed changes everything. So anyway, back to this crafting for kings. I said to myself I was going to be one of the fastest action takers ever. People would literally just be like, whoa, that's crazy. With rippln, Brian Underwood and I are good buddies, and I just started working with Brian. This was a few weeks ago, and I do a lot of the copy for the whole ripple. When we got started, he's like, mark, I'd love an email on this. This, this. What do you think? What a normal person would do is respond back, yeah, I think I can do it tomorrow. I responded back with the email. Done. No comments, no discussion. Just, here's the email. Now what do you think in his mind happens? His mind goes like, holy shit. Like, this guy's different. There's something different about this guy because it's all bite and there's no bark. Raise your hand or blink it or say yes or something, if you get what I'm saying. Yes, all action.
That's all there is. So anyway, I made it a habit that I was going to be very, very fast because that's what I thought. This verse was kind of like hinting.
At me to be.
But here's what gets crazy in my mind. Remember, I was thinking, how do these verses not. What did they mean 10,000 years ago or this or that or the other? It was like, what does it mean in my life if this thing became flesh in me? If this verse was integrated and manifested in Mark Hoverson's life, what would this verse look like? So it said, he will stand before the kings, not the Ordinary people. And I put down in my little journal that I allow Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg to reach out to me for joint ventures. Now, they didn't know who I was, and nobody knew who I was. I didn't even have a lead yet. No lead. Nobody knew Mark Overson.
I had no videos.
I had nothing. But I said, I allow myself to have Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg reach out to me for joint ventures. Now, here's what's crazy. Ann and I are partners in a couple different companies, and she has promoted a couple of my launches. Mike, in front of hundreds of people, said I was the best direct response marketer in the world, and I'm friends with those guys. It happened within about 14 months of me writing it down. I mean, is that crazy to anyone else? Is that crazy?
Nope. It's happened in my life.
You got to identify. So what you do is you identify who are the kings and who are the queens and crafting for kings. What I do in Solomon, the CEO, is I actually teach a strategy of how to move up the ranks to.
Actually.
Serve the kings. Like how you do it. How do you get to the very top quickly? And I've done it a few different times, and it's the wildest thing, but I intended like, he will stand before the kings. And I said, mike Dillard's the king and Sieg's the queen. And I'm going to intend to get in front of him because I work faster than anyone else does. So how I got in front of Mike was.
With Google AdWords. I just became so freaking amazing at Google AdWords. I could take a dollar and turn it into $10. Actually, more than that. I could take it and turn it into like 20, $30 a dollar.
So he had me teach his list, which at the time was like the golden list of the world. Now, Ann, I approached Ann. I approached Ann and I said, ann, if you promote my launch, I will do everything. I will do everything for you. I will write all your emails. I will write them in your voice. I will give you more percentage than I give any other affiliate. I will pour it on for you. If you hit a metric, I'll give you a bonus. I will do everything for you. And she was like, deal. After that, we became partners in a couple different things, and we've churned out some cool money together.
I think Vince and her are now just clashing for that ripple lead.
Did you know that, Vince, you guys are like neck and neck.
Yeah, I took it over for show.
I'M gonna tell Anne you're talking smack about her.
Oh, yeah, do it. Yeah.
But my point is, gang, you can.
You can serve before whoever you want. You really can. You can serve before the kings and not the ordinary people. So. So anybody getting value out of this? Is there a comment or something? What I would say is the action on this one, guys, is to identify who the kings or the queens are to you. Who are they? And then here's how you get in their presence. You serve them. It's amazing to me how many people come to me.
It's literally mind blowing. It's beyond mind blowing. At this point, when I'm at a conference, someone will race up to me and say, hey, Mark, I've got this little product, and would you ever be open to a joint venture? I think your list would really like it. That's cool.
Whatever.
It's cool. But if I feel that person has a heart to even remotely listen, even just a little bit, I'm like, hey, bro, I just did this in Dallas with one of my friends who's a legitimate friend. They're like, hey, I got this product. I think you're really going to like it. I think your list would like it. I'm a big student of yours. You're going to see yourself kind of moving through my product, and I think.
Your people would buy it.
I made success because of your stuff. And I said, we'll call him George. I said, george, can I give you a little coaching on this party? And he's like, yeah. I'm like, if I were you and I was coming up to me right now, I'd say, hey, Mark, what can.
I do for you?
What product? Like, I can give a three day hard. Everything I got to my list, I'll give it everything I got. Do you want me to promote Solomon? Do you want me to promote Info Blueprint? Do you want me to promote one of your $37 products? Do you want to do a private webinar? I will lay it all on the line for you for three days. Do you have anything that might fit? Now, do you guys feel the difference of if they really want my support, the difference that that would be versus.
Hey, will you pitch my shit?
You see the difference?
You got to tell them my story. Just in two seconds.
This is exactly what Vince did. Vince heard about my Salomon product, and he said, I think my list is going to leverage Salomon. Let's do it. Let's go. He said, I'll go for it. He put together Promo videos. And he hit his list a million times. And we did webinar after webinar. What was probably a 7 to 10 day mega blastotron onto your list. Just Mega blast. We did $10,000 in volume. Now, remember, he made $2,000 a month before that. He does $10,000 in volume. But I'm like, you know what? This guy's a hustler. He's fast. Do you see a man who excels in his work, who's fast in his work? I'm like, this guy is a hustler. He wasn't sleeping. All he was doing is working. And I was like, I was happy with that. So we did that. And he impressed me. And I said, vince, you should roll that $5,000 into my travel product. And then you should go like, go crazy with my travel product, and you'll probably make a bunch more money. So he did that. And then within the next 60 days, he was doing anywhere. I don't even know. 20, 30, 40,000. Just crazy.
Madness couldn't count.
And now he functionally runs the company. For all intents and purposes, yeah.
Imagine if I tried to ask you that in the beginning.
If you came up to me like, hey, I'm good with the green screen videos. Do you want to promote my little product? Gosh, what a loss that would have been for the world.
For the whole world, it would have been a loss.
Oh, my God.
You guys getting any value out of these stories? It's easier to get to. You'd be amazed how easy it is to get to whoever you want to get to. You just say, how can I serve you? That's the end of the day. It's like, what can I do to serve you? And it's funny though, I'll tell you. No excuses. I guarantee what will happen is every 20 minutes, someone will come up and ask me to pitch their Observation Skier.
Product.
Which I'd be willing to do, but they're not vetted. In my eyes, I don't even know who they are. And I'm going to jeopardize my reputation with my list with a stranger. It's just. It's so nonsensical. So does everybody raise your hand or. If you get the deal and you'll still make money promoting whatever that is for the other person. So you find somebody you want to work with. The easiest possible way to get in their space is to say, hey, I love your blank product. I'd like to give it a three to five day window and really, really focus my List on it, educate it, I want to promote it, and let's do it. That's how you get in somebody's space. It's simple.
I should say that that's probably what kind of connected us from what you saw from Futuristic, because we hadn't really talked until after that launch.
Totally.
I came out there too. Was it the event or was it the mastermind? I'm not sure. I think it was the mastermind.
Mastermind.
And I saw you and you said, man, I've heard some stuff. And you know, when you think about it, it's true, I believe I don't want to take all your time. But there's two ways in, right? There's two ways in the club to produce your win. And you can buy your way, but buying your way is not really like the way you want to go. And I mean, like, you know these people that come up, I'll pay you 100,000 just to like be in a circle. And, you know, that's cool. But there's nothing like producing your way in or earning the respect of the leader. Like with Vincent Ortega, like, I'm learning all these Facebook strategies. I see him doing caught in the top 10 of the global Apps Network event. And by the way, he almost beat you, Mark.
But.
It'S awesome, right? And it's like, boom, I was met a lot of respect. I would do anything for the guy, right? But like I said, if it came back the other way, it's a little bit different. And I think that's so true. So.
Even guys like XY William, I push you hard to show your results because, boom, people can see that you're getting results. You're going to be able to share that value with other people. And, you know, this is just kind of how this industry works, but also getting a lot of comments. People are loving it, by the way.
So you gotta be, you gotta be an amazing affiliate before you ever try to be a leader. Like, that's what you do. That's what you do.
And it's, it's easy to be an affiliate because if you really want mentoring with somebody, I mean, like, you can buy, I mean, sometimes you can buy coaching from somebody and it's good. Like, I'm not saying you shouldn't do it because I paid $2,000 when I got started with Jeffrey Combs for four sessions of 45 minutes because I really required to be around that. And in those days, I don't even know if there was affiliate programs really.
So I've paid for mentoring I've done that. I paid $2,000 for 14 minutes with Evan Pagan. So I'm not against paying for stuff, but if you really want mentoring, go and promote somebody's stuff and work alongside of them. And that's the secret sauce. Like, that's where you're actually going to get some mentoring. Like, Vince got more mentoring from promoting my stuff than people that pay me $3,000 for an hour of coaching.
Yeah, definitely.
And I'll say, too, the reason why I'm here, why people can see my face, is because of secret number two. I mean, Mark knows I've gone through this course a million times. But long story short, I went through this course and I was like, okay, crafting for Kings. And literally at Matt Lloyd's event, I saw Vince Reed sitting down at the. He was like, eating. We never met. We never even saw each other, never anything. And I just made up my mind at that moment. I was like, okay, I'm crafting for Vince Reed. And that's why from that point, I just kind of went crazy with anything and everything he does. And it's just so true. So I definitely believe that those words.
I just got the chills, man. That was a little. That was some powerful stuff right there, man.
Was it the chills that William was just sitting there watching you eat?
Well, no, no, no, no.
I like, went up to him.
That hits Reed.
I'm like.
Well, William, you're an ambassador for this course, and it's really a movement. It's not even a movement. It's just. I don't know. This course has made so many people or helped so many people, their mind just open up to strategies that this stuff's coming from the wisest man who ever lived, which isn't me. It's King Solomon.
This serving the Kings concept. There's been so many stories, William, just like what you just shared. It's like what Vince shared. It's like so many stories of people that get just this principle down and it changes their whole life. I actually knew. This is funny. I had a hunch. I didn't think a lot about it, but when I saw you hustling and Global Apps Network and with netdivvy and stuff, I thought to myself, he is in pursuit of Vince Reed's promotion. He's in pursuit of it, and he's going to get it because he's committed to it, because he understands how powerful it is to get in front of somebody who will promote you.
Here we are.
This is how you do it. Congratulations to You.
That's what it is all about. That. I even talked about this earlier, Mark. My. My deal. I was just always talking about leveraging leaders. Leveraging leaders. And I always leveraged your name ever since we did that first webinar together, you know, and it's just like. Then you started promoting me to the world. So then it's like people started, you know, it's just. That's all it is. So you were talking about earlier, you got in with Mike Dillard, Nancy. So you leverage them. I mean, that's just the cycle of life, you know, you just leverage what you got and you grind it. Beautiful thing.
So, William, I'm going to offer this to people who don't have it. This course, you think it's worth it.
For people to get.
Did we lose him?
No, I'm here.
Yeah. No, I'm here.
Yeah.
You know what? I highly recommend this course just because. And I always tell everybody this, if you want to advance in online marketing, it's not going to be how well you can do, you know, a tactic, right? The tactics are easy. It's going to be how your brain is able to absorb the information and how you're able to actually position yourself. And with this course, I mean, like Marcus said, it comes from the smartest and the richest person to ever live on this earth. So the principles and the way that he breaks it down to you, literally, is going to open up your brain so that you can begin to understand that it's not about just jumping on anybody's affiliate program or asking people to promote you. And this, there's a strategic formula that, as you can hear, everybody on here has followed to be able to get in front of the masses. And so I highly recommend.
I love it.
While we're secreting away. But just as a reminder of that first secret, it's the expectation of ease, speed, and pleasure.
You set that as an intention in your life that you expect. You expect things to get very fast for you, like, much easier, much more pleasure. And your mind actually opens up and it finds ways to make that happen for yourself. The second secret is to craft for kings. So you can identify, literally, you identify, who do I want to impress? I'll tell you some sick stories. I mean, this is just the nut. This is the crazy stuff. Joe Polish. Have you guys heard of Joe Polish? He's a direct response marketing godfather. He's amazing piranha marketer. He's one of the top Nightingale Conant authors. And this and that. Well, I'm friends with his Girlfriend.
They live in Tempe. So we go out to eat. I haven't even told Joe this. And we're friends now, so this is funny. Now it's public, so he'll probably find out about it. What was funny was Joe didn't really know who I was. And this is just like the last couple months, he had maybe heard my name, but I was just a guy. Joe's buddies with Richard Branson. He's just a badass. I go into this supper with the meal.
I cannot wait to tell Joe this. So I'm going to have to show him this recording. But I went in there 100% intent that he would want my information by the end of the hangout. So we're having supper. So we have like a three or four hour supper. We're laughing and drinking and roaring stories on every subject under the sun. And at the very end, he's like, hey, Mark, what's your cell phone? What's your email? And we walked out of there and Shani just kind of like, kind of winked at me like, you knew that was going to happen. Because usually I'm in jail. I can really benefit from Joe financially as a friend or something. An amateur would go in there and be like, hey, Joe, here's my number. I got a bunch of products. I'm really awesome. Did you know how big a deal I am? Like, holy shit. That's what a loser would do. I went in there completely, 100% like, I'm going to win Joe's heart tonight because he's a badass, and I want to win his heart. I want to be in a circle. I want to be friends with him. I want to serve him. And so we talked a couple strategies on some things that we could do and shared some ideas and gave him a couple ideas here and there. By the end, he wanted my phone number. Now we text, we vox, we're buddies, the whole fucking. Sorry. The whole thing. But I intended like, Joe is a king and I am going to serve him. So I served him with some ideas I sent him. So then I was telling him about stick strategies, and he taught me a stick strategy to mail a physical product when somebody buys an info product. So I told him, I said, I got this journal idea from you. Really? And I put the. There's the journal all nice and leathery and handcrafted and everything. So I sent this to him the next week, and then he got it. And then his girlfriend's like, mark, where did you get that journal? I got to private Label that journal for myself. It's just amazing. Great, this, but my whole point was I intended that a king would desire my service, my friendship, because that's just how the game is played. Now that's one story. Here's the second story real quick. We go to this church that has a few thousand people. The pastor is a best selling author, Palmer Chin Chin. He's a really cool guy and I know that we'd be friends, but I'm one of thousands of people, a couple thousand maybe. So I say to myself, the very first day we go to that church, I'm like, you know, he probably gets asked to go out for coffee like 20 times a Sunday and I'm just not going to be that guy. I'm not going to, hey, I'm cool. When you know me, you'll know I'm cool. And we should be friends because I can really help you. That's what was in my heart. Like, you know, I can really help the cause of what this church is doing, just with some ideas of gamification and all sorts of shit.
But I go in there and I intend, I'm like, he very soon will be asking me for coffee very soon. I just intend it. This is no kidding.
This is a year after we've been going to that church and he sees me and my little tribe and we shake hands and whatever. But he comes up to me a couple Sundays to ago and he's like, mark, I didn't even know he knew my name. He's like, mark, I was talking to so and so and I heard you have all these videos and these courses and you're a speaker and hey, call the office and let's go out for coffee.
He was a king and I intended to get into his presence, okay? And it wasn't. It's not a game to me, it's a code. It's a code that you serve people and you deserve their attention so that you can get in their space. Is that making sense at all?
Money?
It's crazy. This stuff is a miracle to me. It's just a miracle. And literally it's a miracle.
Remember, I set the intention kind of in the beginning. I was starting to talk about how I was going to run one of your companies.
I didn't know that. Yeah. And so now I kind of do. It's kind of tight.
And here's what's crazy. I made this course three years ago and I talk about intending like what it would be like if a king found out about you and promoted it. So this is crazy. I was talking about Mark Victor Hanson down here and it said blah, blah, blah. So I would get into Mark Victor Hanson's space, who's a king, and he would connect me to a small tribe in Africa who's politically minded around the idea of a chief or a king. And the chief would invite me to Africa to teach Solomon CEO. So that was like my intention when I was writing this course for the very first time and nobody had bought it, nobody had seen it, it didn't exist, the journals didn't exist. It was just nothing. And this summer, I am not kidding you, one of the top theologians in the world, O. Palmer Robertson, he's a respected theologian in all sorts of evangelical circles. He found out about my Solomon CEO and I shit you not, I was invited to Africa this summer to teach this.
This is crazy.
Oh, I quit.
I'm telling you guys, this stuff is wild. It is wild.
Should we do one more secret and get me out of here or what?
Yeah, let's do one more.
Okay, so if you want this course, we've sold it for two grand.
Okay.
And that's with personal coaching, not by me, but by one of my teammates. And.
I love this course so much. I really want you guys to have this thing. I really, really want you to have this thing. If you go to wealthfast5000.com you can have the.
Full 10 hours of the course and I'll send you a journal leather journal, not for $2,000, but for $495. And there's people that pay like 1,295 right now. They buy this course, people pay $2,000 for it. $495. I will get you this journal and I will get you personal coaching with one of my teammates, Matt, who's a huge student of this stuff. And for seven modules. Now this is no kidding. They're going to be 30 minute sessions, one on one. But he will go through the action guide with you on all seven modules after you watch them. But you have like 90 days to finish it because I'm not going to like sell its time for infinity. But anyway, wealthfast 5,495 bucks. If you do it, you're gonna absolutely love it. And we'll do a 15 minute chat.
One on one with me and you. So got it. Damn. Are you serious?
Yeah, why not?
Is this the same link that's in our resources section, Global Apps Network, or is the pricing different where you're sending them? I think that we put in global Apps.
I think it's 12.95 in global apps, isn't it?
I don't know what the price is on there. I didn't look at the price. There is the where you're sending them. Is that a different.
Yeah, it's totally different than whatever I have.
Don't buy it.
Yeah, don't get it. In global apps network. Go to where. Is there any way you can write that domain down? Yeah.
Wealthfast5000.com wealth.
So it's 15 minutes with me, it's seven 30 minute sessions with one of my teammates who's really good at this content and then you get the full 10 hours plus I'm going to send you a journal and I mean it's a pretty sick offer. You're going to love it. I guarantee a 30 day guarantee. If you don't think it's awesome, just.
Get your money back.
All right, we'll review that but here's the last one real quick.
I'm sorry, I hate to cut you off, but I just saw something pop up. We have an hour before it terminates the hangout, so I guess you only got four hours. Last time we did two parts, so that's why I didn't see that. So we'll be good and we'll still have about. We'll go 15 more minutes and then we'll get Justin in here to crush it before noon. Yeah, everybody will have their day.
You know what I can hash out here real now.
Ish.
That's fine. We got 21 of these secrets. So is Justin on? Is he here yet?
Mark, Mark. Just hit that Google hangout tab up there right next to Solomon CEO. You can see us.
Oh, look at you guys.
What button do you hit?
I don't know what I'm doing over here.
How do you see like what other people see?
Look at your tab. Just look, just look at your tabs.
How's this going?
That's good.
You're looking good.
Do you guys see me now?
Now it's just you. Yeah, now it's just you.
Alright, so anyway, wealthfast5000.com if you want to take up on that offer. But hopefully there was some value for everybody today. And if you like it, what I want to do is just take it. Like I really. If you would give me your permission to like step into your mind for about 15 hours.
That's what Solomon CEO does. I just. If you just trust me on this one, I'll just. Let me just kind of creep in there and start just toying around.
Mark, you know, the one thing that I think that all of us that are here have in common is a different level of mindset.
Right?
But then there's actually another level, and I'm really excited. I mean, one of my favorite books is just right here. I'm taking to Fiji with me. I'm going jumping on a plane literally after this. That I'm going to be reading is the richest man who ever lived, which is based. I don't know if you ever read that.
Oh, totally, totally.
I can't wait to go through your course because it was this. If you go to my Facebook page now. So you guys don't think that I just made that up when it asked me for my favorite book. That's the book that I list because it was one of those major transformational moments in my life when I read that. So I'm excited to go through it, and I think everyone should. They want to take their business to the next level.
Love it. Love it.
So thank you guys so much for having me on and it's just an honor to be rolling with you guys. Jerry and you guys are all been so good to me. You know, Martin, I mean, every time I see all you guys, it's just like.
So anyway, thanks for letting me be on today, everybody.
I appreciate it.
And one more time, where can we wealthfast5000.com and it's. I mean, it's a pretty sick offer. You'll get a lot of value.
Definitely. Perfect.
Well, man, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you. You know, I tell you all the time, dude, I enjoy the wisdom that you. You instill to the world, and I think that's why you're so well respected in the industry. And I can't wait to see what happens in the future. I know we've got a lot of stuff we want to do together, and I think this is just the beginning for everyone. I think people are starting to see what we're trying to build with Global Apps Network, which is just not only be a place where we share amazing value, but be a place where we lift up existing value and we bring on people that are doing amazing things. And, you know, I think the industry needs to see what's happening. They need to see people like William and Martin and Jerry and a lot of people who are watching now, trust me, are reaching out to you because I want you here. People need to see you. So, Mark, again, thank you, my friend.
And I would say with that real quick, Vince, you're helping lead the Charge. Like, our industry is not a. It's not like it's a fishbowl, and it's just. Everyone's just swimming in the aquarium. We're, like, transcending our industry right now, going into apps, going into gamification, mobile. Like, if you latch arms with the leaders in this industry, we're reinventing what we are, and the wealth is just getting bigger and bigger. By 2017, they think 4 out of 10 people. The U.S. labor Statistics. 4 out of 10 people will be $10.99. 4 out of ten people will be entrepreneurs.
That's awesome.
That's not quite 50%, but we're getting close. The world is crashing into our space. It's flooding in. We're not a tiny aquarium. We're an ocean that's gaining more people.
It's time to kick it in. It's time to take yourself seriously enough to realize that from your home with a freaking computer and an iPhone, you can make 100 grand, you can make 80 grand, you can make 200 grand, you can make 500 grand, you can make a million. It's exciting times, my friends. So buckle up, take yourself seriously, and without further ado, I'm out of here.
Later, brother. You're the man. Thanks, guys.
Great wisdom.
I want to bring on this next gentleman. And as he's pacing like he's about to step into the ring.
Fight over there, my good friend Mr. Justin Glover. And before I have him speak, and I hate to take, I promise you, an hour and 15, but you're probably going to have 50 minutes. But, you know, this guy is an amazing marketer. And you know what's cool about Justin? He's so calm. Sometimes I get just. I don't know if you know this Justin, but I get, like, kind of, I don't know, nervous around you because I'll be talking to you. And he's just like, yeah.
I can't feel like if he's, like, excited if he wants to do it. You guys feel that, or is it just me?
He's always think mode. For sure. He's a thinker.
And then he has his backpack on him and that hat walking around his backpack.
The backpack does not leave.
Dude, I'm like, what's going on with that backpack? But anyways, Justin's lost.
Every web, every, like, event. He has a backpack.
Backpack.
But also every event or every affiliate competition, he's finishing in the top 10. So, you know, either I need one of those backpacks, I need to do something, because whatever it is, you're doing is working, man. So I'm pumped to have you on, man. And again, I know that you're going to bring value. And what I have seen is the guy just knows how to build businesses and he has an amazing community and he's definitely someone you guys should follow. So without further ado, the stage is yours, my friend. What's going on?
We're late on the.
Wash. Relate on.
The.
Sound effects, guys.
Okay, so.
How do you work this thing?
See what I mean?
What?
What?
I'm just messing with you. Go ahead.
Hey.
Hey.
How do you work? Can you guys hear me?
Yeah, we can.
All right. I'm guessing you can see me too. I don't know.
You guys are hangout noobs. This is unbelievable. Actually.
I don't know how to work this thing.
On the left, it should be a little thing. You can. It says screen share. You can share your desktop or we can see you good right now.
Cool.
All right. So.
I actually didn't. I thought a couple of. I've got it on my calendar over here of what I'm actually going to talk about, but I didn't know. Or when I'm going to talk, but I didn't know what I was going to talk about until this morning when I read your email, Vince. It's kind of funny. You actually kind of just decided that for me. So.
Let'S see.
How did you say I'd do a.
Screen share on the left side of the little button says screen share and then you'll click desktop and then you'll be able to see your desktop if you want to show it.
All right.
Somebody needs to play out how to do a hanger.
You're good.
Good.
Yep.
All right, so.
Let'S see.
So I thought what I would actually do is.
Alright, affiliate, winner, secret. So this is actually what you told me I was speaking on. So I guess I figured I would go through the promo that I did for.
Global Apps and just to show you guys that it's completely different the way I approach my lists and the way I communicate with them, there's a lot of different things that I've learned from some of the bigger and better marketers I follow pretty much. I try to really stay plugged into everybody that's really making things happen. I learn a lot from Mark. Actually. I've learned a ton from him. Let's see.
Hang on.
I'll get it one day.
So I'm apparently a Google hangout newbie and.
Don'T know how to work this Mac That I have.
What are you looking for, brother?
A couple of different things, to be honest with you. Alright, cool. So one thing that I did, and this is I pulled up a presentation on.
That I actually did for a module that I created in the, in the futuristic marketing course that Mark and JBud released. And because this, this is just one of the videos that I actually put in there and I'm not going to.
Go through the whole thing.
Some of you may have seen it, but I know a lot of people that actually went through it.
May not have got just how big that it actually was and how important it actually is and how much I actually use it in my business. Because what did I finish, like fourth or fifth in the Globe Apps contest? I don't even remember.
But it wasn't a whole lot of pushing. It wasn't a huge push. It was literally two emails that actually did it. But that's what everybody saw. But there was a lot of other stuff that was going on that just kind of happens naturally in the way that I communicate with my list. So I want to go through some of the things that I talked about.
In that video just to kind of reiterate and show how actually important they are. So let's see, I'm not going to go through everything real quick.
Just so you guys know, he finished the top in the futuristic marketing launch. He finished in the top five in the global Apps Network launch. There was another launch that Matt Lloyd did that you finished in the top like two or three in that launch. And you know, I mean, this guy finishes in the top 10 affiliate launches, which is one of the reasons why he spoke about, I mean, he had an actual, this product where he spoke in a module in futuristic marketing. Because people are starting to take note that this guy knows how to win affiliate competitions, which is one of the fastest ways that you can get yourself out there. So I want you guys to definitely pay attention to this because if you want to get exposure and if you want to let people know that, hey, you know, what the heck you're talking about, that's why I think that this is so interesting to everyone. So I just want people to know that it's not like you just did one, you know, got in the top 10 of the global Apps Network. I mean, this is something that you consistently do.
Yeah, appreciate that.
So, okay.
The whole thing revolves around like the way that, the way that I've actually done that and I've sold a whole lot of my own stuff. I've sold over a million dollars worth of stuff on the Internet. And it's not because I've built a huge list or anything like that. Now I'll kind of give you the backstory. When I first got into the industry.
And I really started actually applying the stuff that I was learning and making a little bit of money.
I was kind of drawn towards the whole list building stuff. And so I really focused in on that. I got really good on that. I built several different lists, probably over in total I've probably had over.
150, 200,000 opt ins. Now I don't communicate with all of those people. Those are just opt ins because for me, and one of the things I actually noticed is the market is kind of starting to shift and that's the reason I found global apps to be so interesting is because it's capitalized and really tapped into that shifting marketplace that not everybody has seen. And even still there's so many people that are doing stuff the same way that they've been doing it for the last five years, same way that they see 90% of everyone else doing it. The difference is that's not the marketplace as a whole. The people that are coming on board it literally within two days. If somebody just hears the word Internet marketing today and they go join somebody's list, there's a very good chance within seven days of them joining they're going to be on other people's list and they're going to see, they're going to know kind of how this market actually works because everybody pretty much does the same thing and used to, it worked really, really well.
One of the things that I teach on as far as traffic, because if you really zoom out as far as what it takes to make money, whether it's online, offline, it's two things. You've got to have traffic and conversion, something to sell and somebody to buy it.
For me, when it comes to traffic, I teach what I do and so I've created a couple of products on solo ads and that's what I have of a lot, lot of in my actual members area just simply because I've. That's what I use and I continue to use that.
Now.
Three, let's see, probably two years ago is when I first started doing solo ads about eight months ago, maybe, maybe a year ago or so, it completely started to change. Like before that period I could go out and take it, take a solo ad out and if I approached a vendor and they matched, you know, I had certain questions that I would ask and if they matched these questions, if their answers, you know, were a fit, then it was, it was 100% guaranteed that within 24 hours I was making my money back on that ad because I had done the testing, I had tracked everything. And what I started to notice is that that actually changed and it didn't change for the better. Number one, prices started going up, people were charging more, so my cost per click was actually going way up. And also my responsiveness.
The actual conversion part of it, the.
The part where they opt in and then they actually open the emails and they continue to open them and they continue to read them when they click and then they go buy. All of that part started going down. So the conversion was going down, my profit was going down, the price per click was going up. And I, you know, I'm, I'm not talking, I buy one or two solo ads a month. At this point when this is happening, I was spending between 20, probably between 18 and $25,000 a month just on solo ads.
So I started noticing, okay, well I'm losing a little bit of money here, quite a bit. So I stopped for a couple of months and really started looking. Okay, what's the reasoning behind this? And that's when I really first noticed that the marketing, the whole community, the marketplace is really changing. It's shifting to.
More so of a value add community. People that are looking for true relationships, they're looking for true value. The people that actually add the true value, that's what the marketplace is looking for. They're not falling for the same tricks that used to work or the same marketing stuff, they're getting privy to it because everybody's doing it. And when everybody starts doing stuff, you know, people just, they become aware. So one of the things that.
You really need to keep in mind, and it doesn't matter if you're doing solo ads or you're doing mobile traffic, or you're doing Facebook or you're doing pay per click. Doesn't matter what, what you're, you know, how you're getting your traffic or what you're actually promoting. What matters is that you stand out and that's what creates conversion. So in this video that I actually did, or this presentation, or this particular video in this module, the whole thing was summed up into two words. And that's be different if I come down. Alright, so market's evolving.
Okay, so.
Here'S kind of the new rules of conversion that I personally see.
Number one, you've got to know your customer better than they do. Number two, email marketing is still very essential as well as even since I wrote this presentation, this is about the time when and when I wrote this, I had no idea that this whole mobile industry even existed. So that's the reason when I heard this conversation with Vince and I saw that that's where the eyeballs actually were and this is the direction the industry's headed. You know, that's, it was, it was no brainer for me. I wanted to because I was seeing my email open, rates were going down, my responsiveness was going down.
List size does not matter. You don't have to have a whole lot of, you know, a whole lot of people. I told you I've had a couple hundred thousand opt ins I communicate with now when I send an e. If I were to send an email to what I would consider to be all of my list, it's less than 40,000 people just simply because, I mean if they don't want to hear my stuff, they're not going to, you know, I'm only interested in communicating with the people who are interested in hearing what I have to say. And it's a different approach, it's a different mindset, but you got to take it on. The biggest.
One that's probably here on this slide is that the relationship starts before the opt in. Now.
See if I can give you an example here actually. Alright, so that's profiling positioning.
All right, so yeah, relationship starts before the opt in. Alright. And it actually shouldn't stop after the opt in. So there's a guy, Evan Pagan, that a lot of you guys are familiar with. He also runs a dating business that he markets completely on the Internet. So this capture page was.
Originally brought into the whole Internet marketing space by, I think he was one of the first people that actually brought it in. And it's the big old red headline, couple of bullet points, call to action and the opt in form.
You saw this a lot a couple of years ago. Well, if you go to his site now.
It'S completely different. It's set up more so like a blog where he gives value. He's not forcing the opt in. He's not saying, hey, you can't get any more of my value unless you give me your email address. That's not the message anymore. Instead it's more so like a blog. It's here, let me give you some of my value. And if you enjoy it, if you consume it and then you want to participate and learn more, then you can opt in. Then you can, you know, request more info.
So three things that you really need to know when it comes to effective communication. And then I figured probably what I would do is I'm gonna actually walk you through the emails that I sent. Just because the, the whole real life kind of, you know, hey, here's exactly what I did.
I think if I walk you through.
The process, it'll help a little bit, kind of understand. And you can see all of what I'm telling you now. You can see that in, you know, in action, you can actually see that it works. It's not just a bunch of stuff that I'm just talking about. So, three things you need to know. Number one, you got to know who your audience is.
You got to know what's the end result they're looking for, and you got to know what's stopping them to get there. So. So whatever it is that you're selling, I told you, you got to have something to sell, somebody to buy it. So whatever it is that you are selling, figure out, okay, who's the person that would buy it, who's this ideal audience? And go into depth, really. There's customer avatar creation exercises you can go through, empathy maps exercises you can go through, matter of fact, if you just Google those two terms, you'll probably find plenty of exercises on how to actually do that. But go into depth, ask questions, figure out, okay, who is this audience? And more so just, I don't mean somebody who wants to make more money. That's not enough. Dive deep, you know, figure out what is it that they are looking for? What keeps them up at night? What's their fears and frustrations? What's. What are some of their goals, their dreams, their aspirations? What is it that they truly want? Who are they? What does their life look like? What is it that they truly want? What would they possibly come to you for? And then what's keeping them from getting there? If you can really identify these three things, then you're almost immediately going to gain just tons more insight on what you actually need to be communicating to them. And if you communicate to them as someone who knows these three things and understands these three things, you're going to be communicating to them at a level that's totally different than most other people. Because if you look at the emails you get from most people, you look at the notifications you get from most people, if you hear the messaging that most marketers are putting out, it's obvious. It's totally obvious that they don't know who you are. Not really. They know a little bit. They don't know what your aspirations are. They don't know what you're trying to achieve. It's obvious. They're just trying to make a sale, alright? They're just trying to pitch something and so there's things that you can actually do that will let people know, hey, this person is different, alright? This person, he really does care, he really does have my. He knows what I'm trying to achieve, he knows what's stopping me from getting there and he's giving me value based on that. So I'll give you a quick example. I sent an email out to part of my list before I actually came on this, on this hangout a couple hours ago actually.
I told them that I was gonna be speaking. They can give a.
That they could.
They could come on and actually listen if they wanted to, you know, I could have made a, I could have logged in and grabbed my affiliate link and, and plugged that. But I told them I was upfront with them. The audience that I was talking to, they just went through another promotion. So I didn't want to come off like, hey, here's Justin again, just trying to sell me something else.
So I didn't approach it that way. I went and got the direct link, I sent it out and I said, look, I'm not telling you this because I'm in here to just make a few more sales. I'm telling you this simply because I think you're going to get tremendous value. There's other people speaking right now. They have built tremendous businesses, they're going to provide tremendous value. I know what I'm going to be talking about is going to give value if you listen, so go to it. I was very upfront, transparent and I told them, hey, I've got an affiliate link for this. That's not it. I'm not even going to give it to you. I'm not asking you to contact me for my affiliate link. I just, no strings attached. I said, hey, if you want, it's 19 bucks I think to start, go to this page, you can see who's speaking and come on, did I miss out on a couple sales? Yeah, probably, but doesn't matter. That's going to make, that's seeding the relationship that I'm trying to communicate to the people. I'm trying to let them know in every single email and every piece of communication that I understand who they are, I understand the result they're taking, looking for and I also understand what's keeping.
Them from getting there.
And if I see something along the way that I think will help. I'll share it with them and I'll share it from a place of. I'm not just trying to make a sale. I'll share it from a place of. I do care. You know, it's, it's a totally different approach. Do you see how it's. I mean it's completely different than most people.
Are communicating, so.
Don'T really have time. There's a couple of. And I could walk through this but we are limited on time and I want to walk through the email.
So.
Understanding your audience is really okay. Understanding your audience is actually like two steps. Step one is you can create an empathy map and like I said, you can go to Google and figure that out. That really puts you into okay, I know this person. Step two will be you can kind of expand on that and really create your customer avatar. Just do a search on how to create a customer avatar.
And there's a lot of training out there for that, I'm sure.
Okay, so how to write effective follow up emails. Do I want to talk about that?
Maybe I'll come back to that.
Vince, what time did you say that this thing's going to pick us up?
In about 30 minutes. I would say 20 minutes to be safe. I don't want to get. I want you to get to the good stuff and invite when you're about to.
All right, so let's see. Yeah, so I just kind of skip over the how to write effective emails.
30 minutes.
So yeah. Okay, cool.
So let me do this. Actually.
Let me set a little countdown timer here.
Otherwise.
I won't get it. Okay.
The rule that I personally use when I promote anything is only promote stuff that's relevant.
That's should go without being said. You know, figure out which offers are going to work best. The ones that actually solve your ideal customer problems, which by the way, you can't. Can't do. You can't figure out which offer is going to solve their problems if you don't know what their problems are, truly. So I totally get it. Like I understand why people hear training like this and they don't take action and they don't go through it. They hear it and they say, okay, yeah, that makes sense, I get that. But then they don't do it because it's totally, it's not sexy. It's not a sexy thing to do. It's kind of boring for an entrepreneur mind. It's like, well, I've got other stuff that I could be doing that's more important. And then they really know internally that actually I should be doing that. But they never do. So I hope you're hearing what I'm saying right now. If you do this, if you spend the time it's gonna be, you know, they're gonna have, there's these thoughts, they're gonna pop up like I should be spending this time somewhere else. But I promise you, if you really take the time to do this, you're going to, you're gonna be able, you're gonna connect with your know that they are.
You're gonna be able to connect with them at a level that nobody else can because you're gonna be speaking to what they are at the core.
So you'll figure out what offers work best and what offers to avoid. So the ones that don't solve my ideal customers problems, I'm not going to promote.
Let's see.
Okay, so. And that's actually a pretty good status update that I saw. It was by Gary Vaynerchuk, it's on Twitter. Like way back when I actually used Twitter.
He said give, give, give, give, give.
Then ask. And that's kind of the whole mindset of matter of fact that I've got. I printed that status off and I blew it up and framed it and it was above my desk in my office at home for a long time. And that's kind of the way that every single time that I go to communicate with my list, I have that in mind. There's been plenty of opportunities when.
I could have went against that and asked for something and sent the email to make a quick buck or I could have done that. But anytime you communicate with your audience, whether it's email, whether it's mobile, whether it's through video articles, any time you communicate, you're either making deposits or withdrawals, you're either going up or down in their mind. So that's a couple of things just to kind of lay that foundation real quick.
Let's see if I can.
Fine. Alright, so I want to walk through the actual promo that I did. Why is my. Stop, stop there.
Okay.
So this is kind of the emails leading up to the actual push. And Vince, if you can probably verify this.
Most of my sales from, for global apps, when they actually came, pretty much all of them came in the last couple of days the same way that I, that I did with, with Matt's, one of Matt's contests.
You know, he, I think I had a hundred and something sales come in in the last like 48 hours of one of his contests.
And it's the same way with pretty much everything that I promote. Because you can, you can use the strategies to go out and get them, get more, you know, go take solo ads out or do, do advertising and bring people into a promotion like most people do. And the problem with that is when you bring them in, most people bring them straight into the promotion. There's no, you know, there's no warm up period at all. There's no relationship building. If it's cold advertising, even if it is referral based advertising, it's not.
It'S still way too early to go straight to the bedroom. There's the analogy of.
Picking up a chick outside at a bar or something. You can't just go straight up and ask her to go straight to bed with you. You have to kind of build some rapport. You've really got to establish that relationship. It's the same thing if you really think about it and look at it more like.
You'Re communicating with the real person. Because what some people don't understand, what most people don't understand, and it's so elementary. But these clicks that people are buying and these clicks that people are consuming, competing to get, they're not just clicks, they're real people. And if you approach it that way, if you really view them as not clicks but real people.
Everything else will kind of fall into place and you'll know what type of emails to write, when to send them that will make sense for them. So I'll give you an idea. I'm big on list segmenting.
So I don't. Again, that's just simply because I want to send stuff that's, that's relevant.
So what I actually did on February 19th, I sent an email to pretty much my, my main database because at that point I had never mentioned mobile, I had never mentioned anything that had to do with mobile marketing that might be related with global apps. So I didn't know if they wanted to learn about that stuff or not. And I'll show you the actual email that I sent.
Okay, so February 19th.
Alright, so this was the email and the subject line was just raise your hand only if you're interested. And, and guys, I'm really big on modeling. You will see that I follow marketers that get my attention, that really communicate with me on a level that I feel like, hey, they understand me better than anybody else. So I model that when, you know, I never just straight up swipe people's stuff word for word. I always personalize it to myself. But model it. I mean, this saves me so much time because I could sit down and write a really, really good email. One of the people that I follow on how to write good emails is Mark. He's awesome at it. And you'll see some of the emails that I, that I'll walk through. If you're on his list and you read his emails, you'll see that a lot of them are very similar to his writing style. So the very first communication that I sent about global apps was this one and it said, basically tonight a few partners and I will be opening the doors to a brand new mobile app company we just launched. If you're interested in attending the webinar and getting update emails about the launch, then go here and I gave them a URL. Otherwise, have a great week. And then I talked about something. This was a replay that I did. It was a webinar that I had posted up. There wasn't anything for sale on that webinar, I don't think. But I want to show you the actual page.
Do you save all your emails, by the way?
Yes, I do.
Okay. So again, it was just very.
You know, all I was doing was kind of cookieing people and just seeing, okay, who on my main database would possibly be interested in hearing about this. And I'm, this is like I could have got way more people on the actual webinar.
But I put them, I made them jump through a couple of hoops first. So I said basically on the page the same, exact, same, same exact thing that I said in the, in the email. So there's, there's like, there's rules of marketing that have changed and then there's rules that you have to have like, that haven't changed. So congruency is one thing that's never going to change. That's something that a lot of people are doing or that a lot of people talked about for a long time. That's never going to change. So.
That'S just important to notice. Even though I tell you there's new ways to approach things, there's certain things you can't just completely be different. I mean, you still have to, to use scarcity, you still have to do some of these things that everybody talks about.
I basically just go straight up and said, hey, if you're genuinely interested in hearing about what I have to say in marketing in general and specifically how you can make lots of money by partnering up with us in our mobile company, I'll send you a handful of emails each week for the next month or so. That's it. Go ahead and opt in. So that was the approach that I took there.
The 20th. Alright, so I was actually still in the middle of a promotion with my main list. So I got, I don't even know how many people opted in from this email, but what I did, they were all tagged, they were all put on a separate list and that's where 90% of my sales came from. This very first email. If I were to go back and take every single person that actually joined Global Apps, I know that it's more than 70% are from this list, this original email list.
I'm probably guessing that it would be closer to like 95%. There might be a few that slipped in from other places, but I'm almost guaranteed. And every other time that I've actually went through and counted out specifically that's been the case. The reason I tell you that is because segmenting is so important. Most people wouldn't send if I got, let's say 50 people on this list.
Those 50 people are very interested. Most people would not take the time to send an email out to just 50 people. Most people, what they do is they have a list that they segment, but then the amount of time that it takes to type an email and cater it to them, they just include them in the broadcast with everybody else. That's, I mean, that's not the best way to do it because what you're doing is you're making withdrawals to everybody else. But if you take these people that you know are interested that have raised their hand recently, it's a completely different way that they receive your email. So between the 20th and the 22nd, I was sending out some other stuff and I didn't even mention any. I didn't mention the Global Apps. This was, these are promotions that I did to my main list. Basically all I was doing is providing value. So I sent a value add email and in the P.S. i was demonstrating, hey, you know, I was just kind of getting people to download my app because I had got my app back at that point and I was just getting people to go and download it and tell me and I'll show you. See if I can pull that email up real quick.
Yeah, I think this is right here. Okay. So I wrote this email and this email was actually a sales email that I pretty much modeled from Mark. And at the very bottom, this was selling something totally different. And I do need to show you what this was actually. This is selling a product that I kind of came up with an idea on and I put together called 30 day profit challenge. So I was selling it straight from this email. I didn't have a sales page up at that point. I think it was just an opt in page. But at the bottom I said, you know, there's a little bribery. I just have my very first mobile app created. I need you to download it, blah, blah, blah, whatever. There's a video that I did that I haven't shown anybody else. It's in there. If you download it to your phone, here's how you download it. Blah, blah, blah, whatever. Okay, so I just, I planted that seed in the ps. Alright, so then the next day an email goes out to my main list and this was a decision email. Where's that?
I don't know that I have that one actually.
Yeah, that's not in this.
So this was just another one that was selling. It was, these are all the same thing. Alright, I was selling my 30 day profit challenge in these things but in the end of it in the P.S. i was just planting that seed, just keeping people exposed to it, to getting people on the actual app. So then what I did is that I mail pretty much every day. But then we get down here to the six which is kind of the start of the actual webinar. So I did a webinar with Vince and we happened to do it on the exact same time as one of these other companies. They had one of their huge kind of like year end wrap up webinars. So that really affected the actual attendance. But that was fine. I mean I knew it doesn't matter because I'm going to follow up with them the way that I know that it's going to be different than anybody else and we're going to get a whole lot of sales from this webinar. So I sent an email. It was regarding the webinar with Vince. I took the because he was training on one click cents or one cent clicks.
I mailed this to a cold list that I had that I haven't spoke with in a while that was not very responsive. It had been a long time since I had actually sent them. Plus I mailed them. This email went out to this interested list. The people that showed up and the people that did buy on that webinar, most of them were from this interested list. Okay, so that was on the 6th. I waited until the 11th for some reason to send out the replay and I only sent. Here's the thing, I didn't send the replay out to everybody like most people would typically do. I sent the replay out just to the people who registered for that webinar because remember a lot of people registered for that webinar but they didn't show up. If they registered, I know because I had a long description on the actual webinar so I know they would be interested in it, but they didn't show up. Maybe they were at this other thing. I gave everybody the chance to register and they didn't do it. So rather than sending them another email and say, hey, I'm still trying to shove this webinar down your throat, go watch it, here's the replay. Instead of doing that, I would send a value email to them and I only sent the replay out to the people who registered. Alright? So then on the next day I did another value add. Again this was selling the 30 day challenge thing. Then the main push came starting on the 13th and the promotion that I used and this is funny because I think the last, probably the last few hours I actually passed Mark for the affiliate contest. And it's ironic because the promotion that I used, the sales copy that I used, I completely swiped from him. It's one that he put out a couple of years ago in the launch formula course that he did.
I had used it myself, literally. I mean it was a copy and paste of what I used to. Two years ago after I bought the course, I went through module one, which was Mark's and he gives you this swipe copy and he was like, just send this out. And I copied that. And I did a launch at the time that was my first big month. It was close to like $30,000 that month and it was like I didn't even watch the rest. I didn't go through the rest of the course. To this day that's still the only module that I've been through.
But I went back to my AWeber account, I took that original email and I brought back and I pretty much, I just changed up like because at the time I said I was mentioning my girlfriend which is now my wife. So I just changed stuff like that. I made it a little bit more personal and say instead of saying hey, here's what we're wanting to plan, I would say something like, here's what we actually did. Here's where we went on our honeymoon. Here's something that we've done. So it was a complete copy and paste of that. It's ironic because that's what this one promotion, I sent two emails on it which all of these people actually came from solo ad traffic.
So the email, let's see If I can actually find it real quick, because I want to read through that.
Five minutes. Really?
Wow.
Okay. So I don't have time to read through it. I basically said, I got this thing for 25 people and I'll show you the actual page that I sent them to. And I was that I've been planting seeds for the 30 day challenge. So here's what, here's what, Here was the quote, unquote, sales page. I sent an email that said, hey, I've got something. You can go check it out. You might be interested. $1,000 in 30 days or I paid 25 grand. You work 30 minutes a day. 30 minutes a day. So I said a couple of weeks, I put a training together called the 30 Day Challenge. The purpose was to outline a daily action plan that anyone can use to make an extra thousand dollars in the next 30 days working 30 minutes or less. It's been good. We're getting results.
Let's see.
So starting April 1st, I'm going to record myself going through the 30 day profit challenge live, just as if I were starting from scratch. No list, no JV partners, no advantage. I'm going to record a new video every day for the entire month of April. It'll be less than 30 minutes. By the end of 30 days, if I haven't made $1,000 in commission, I'll pay you $1,000 for your time. So I go through this and say at the end, I'm going to package up these videos and I'm going to sell them for 9.97. But if you are one of the first 25 people to register, then you'll pay less than 120 bucks for the whole thing. Here's how you apply. Send an email. There's no buy button. I say send an email. Let me know why I should accept, you give me your info. And that's pretty much it.
Okay.
And you can go to workwithjustin.com 25 only if you want to read through all of that.
So that's pretty much all I said. I sent that email first to the interested list, second to a VIP list that I have. And then I sent another email on the 21st that said, Hey, I sent this email out a couple of weeks ago. I have three spots left if you're interested, and that's it. From that point, I went through these applications, I got on the phone and here was my main message. You get this 30 day challenge that I'm doing. If you also go through, you join Global Apps Network and You consume the training that's in there during this 30 days. So that's how I introduced them to the actual training. I don't have time to go into the escape velocity part.
Hey, Justin, I definitely want to have you back to like, going the more details of that someone. I mean, I got extreme value out of that because.
It'S important. It's definitely important. The whole segment in your list.
Really.
Creating that empathy map, right. Connecting with the people on the other end, realizing that those are their people. But to me, it's fascinating that you have this. I mean, did you set out. Did you, like, say, the contest ends this day? So I'm gonna. I mean, was this actually planned, like, how you do that?
It started to get planned around.
The answer is no. I mean, I was planting seeds up here. I segmented because I knew I'm gonna do a promotion, so I want to find out who's interested. And just in my daily, you know, the regular communication with them, I was adding value. And so I just. I said, okay, I'm still gonna do this promotion out here. I don't know the details of it yet because it wasn't even in my thoughts at that time. I need to plant the seed. So that's what I did. Started building that relationship with these people.
The idea actually came, like, the day before I sent this email out. I had the idea that afternoon. I put that sales page, if that's what you want to call it up, and wrote the email and sent it.
That's awesome, man. I think there's a lot more into that that I think people can learn. But what I want people to take from that is to really, one, understand that your lists are real people. And I think what I realize when I read your emails is I just feel like. I really feel like I'm talking to you. I can tell that you're really writing it to speak to that person, and you guys want to take that away from it. As you're building your list, as you're building your audience and your community, make sure that you realize you're actually speaking to a person. And I think that's the secret to your success, man. When you launch people like you, and that's why they buy from you. Awesome. Awesome, man. Well, look, I hate to rush everyone off, but we've got about five or six minutes before we actually shut down. I mean, it's literally. We've maxed out the time on the event. Last time we did two sessions now. I think I want to keep them short, keep them Four hours. I think it's perfect. We still have our Saturday, but I want to first off thank everyone who joined us today. Vincent Ortega Jr. You're a rock star, man. Like, honestly, I'm seriously a fan of all of you guys, but I enjoy hearing you share value and everyone here definitely go friend him, buy his stuff, learn from this guy. Because I think I truly believe it's just the beginning. Same thing with you, Justin. I think that there's something to the way that you market that's unique.
And.
I just enjoy it. I'm always trying to get better. I have certain weaknesses in my business that I try to get better at. And that email, the relationship building aspect and just how you really, I mean there's a process to the way that you communicate with your list, I think is something that you want to just keep in your mind if you're a marketer and obviously the panel. I appreciate you guys, you guys are amazing and I think that this is just the beginning for you guys and I can't wait to have you here sharing your strategies and what you're doing with your list. With that being said, guys, we've got a lot of amazing new things happening. As we talked about being able to release mobile websites and getting really in deep with the whole generating leads, understanding now the difference between searching on the Internet and finding your website and not having it mobile optimized to some of the ways that you will be able to position people to make sure that that website is now mobile optimized and not only profit from it, but leverage it from a content standpoint, from you being able to put your content there. And then when we start to interact and show you how we can actually utilize some of the things that Vince was talking about with Facebook. But do it on mobile. And now imagine when someone's on their phone. We're devising marketing plans and we're utilizing our websites and our videos and our mobile websites and we're doing it on mobile and everything we do is mobile optimized for mobile. I think that that's going to really set us apart as my 5 minute ticker just clicked. But again, I just thank all of you guys. I think that Global Apps Network is turning into something that we still don't really know where it's going to be. All I can tell you is that I'm constantly looking to make sure that we are two steps ahead of everyone in terms of traffic, in terms of technology, and a lot of that comes from what happened in my career in real estate. Where I wasn't aware, I wasn't looking around for what was happening, and I almost lost everything. So whoever's connected with me in my circle, I can guarantee that you will know what's happening. You won't ever be in position to where the rug will be pulled out from under you. And if it is, trust me, I have three or four other methods and strategies that will throw in to make sure that you. You can get up and just keep on running and keep on doing what you have to do. So again, thank you, guys. And we've got a few minutes. Anyone want to yell, hoot, holler. Say anything in closing, just go out.
There and implement, man. Everybody, you and I, we talked about it. We can teach all day long. But if they don't implement, nothing's going to happen. So make sure you guys are implementing. This is some good stuff today for sure. You, the main thing, take action.
I totally agree. Nothing is. There's no success unless you take action. So appreciate you, Vince. Thanks for everything, everybody. Was awesome.
Tremendous, awesome Saturday. Now you guys pray for me. I'm about to get on a plane to Fiji and I plan on skydiving.
That's awesome. Can't wait to see that.
It's already out there. It's going to happen, so get it.
Awesome, guys. This week, obviously, I'm going to be gone. I'm going to do my best to communicate, but you never know. You go into a third world country, what happens. So if you don't hear from me consistently, know that I'm doing my thing and I'll be back. And we're going to get cranking. When I get back, trust me, all the stuff we talked about is going to come into full effect and we're going to do a huge webinar showing people how to get these leads, how to generate these websites and take over the world like we're trying to do and help everybody get better. All right.
I love you guys. It was awesome. Until next month. I'll see you. Take care, guys. Bye.
Peace. Later.
