A recorded live roundtable hosted by Vince Reed (Super Saturday Special - Part 1) featuring industry practitioners Greg Gomez, Martin Ware, Jen Beninger and Ferny Ceballos. The session opens with housekeeping and introductions, promotes the No Excuse Summit (speakers include Bill Walsh, Gary Vaynerchuk, Ray Higdon, Matt Lloyd), announces winners from an affiliate competition (cash and prizes, top winners named), and then focuses on practical marketing training — notably Greg Gomez's detailed "Simple Selling Blueprint" covering market selection, message creation, delivery channels, and phone/webinar-based lead capture and objection-handling techniques. The tone is informal, tactical, and community-oriented.

Why am I.
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. I think we are on air. We are live. What's going on, guys? All right, all right, all right, all.
Right, all right.
All right, guys. So.
Welcome, welcome. And you guys missed me panicking and sweating and going crazy because we couldn't figure out how to make the sound work and we couldn't figure out why everyone was talking and making these noises that looked like this and no one was coming out. But we figured it out and we're gonna have fun today. And right now we're going to just have a roundtable. We know people are still coming in. It's 9:17 Pacific Time, so it should be late for those of you on the east coast, but apparently it's too early for Internet marketers over there and Craig is having a great time with.
His hangout playing with my stuff. Sorry.
Awesome. All right, guys. Well, what I wanted to do in terms of getting started, we're going to have to do a few things. We're going to be announcing some of the winners.
Of our contest. As I have my email and stuff going up, I'm going to be dealing with that, making sure everyone gets in. And we have a day of amazing content and event right in your living room or your office. So we're really excited about that and we're just going to talk a little bit. I have some special people on and we're going to have people popping in and out through the roundtable. And again, this is the time for us to just have a great time and have fun. Now I'm going to actually click play for just a second because actually let me do this real quick. Let me show my screen over here. Let's see screen share. Show my desktop.
You guys can obviously see you're looking at that but if you guys. Now you guys should see my screen. Alright, so if you're watching this, which most of you are, you're here, you're on the live online events page and you can see if there's several comments that people are making. If you have comments or anything specific, just definitely leave your comment here. We'll be answering throughout the entire process. We also have the secret group which a lot of people are still trying to get in. Not sure how well that's going to work today, but that's definitely a place for you to interact with some of the other people inside and use this time as a great marketing tool for yourself. Invite people to the event right now. Put your link up like leave a comment right in here. And just say, hey, getting ready to have a great time on this event? Throw in your affiliate link and let people come in. Only $19. They get to learn from some top marketers today. So everyone can see this, right? Everyone can see my screen. So we're good. But anyways, I'm not pushing play because we're actually looking at it through the hangout perspective on our end. But on your end you'll be looking, you're viewing it from here and can leave comments. So if everyone can hear and is watching and is streaming, okay, go ahead and start leaving comments. Just leave a comment. Say, vince, we can hear you, we can see you and we're pumped up and let's learn a lot of information. Then we'll get into just kind of introducing some of the people who are here now and I'll introduce and talk a little bit about some of the leaders who did really well during our first affiliate competition. And we'll just go from there. We'll have a good time. So let me switch it back to my screen. We should be good to go. Is everyone able to see my screen? Did you guys see everything? I was just showing. Good. All right.
Sure did.
All right, cool. All right, so first I want to.
Say or introduce Jen. And if you guys don't know Jen, Jen, why don't you tell him a little bit about who you are and tell them how awesome and cool you are. In fact, Jen is really responsible for a lot of my growth in social media over the last, I'd say 90 days. As people know, I was never really a big Facebook in terms of marketer. I would do ads, I would advertise like pay per click. But I didn't really have a way, a plan behind my marketing. It was more just like let me just post something and see what happens. But she's really given me a plan and it's dramatically helped the growth of the company. And she's also come on board as full time with us with Global Apps Network and is doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes and a lot of the dirty work.
She's been awesome. And Jen is who will connect a lot with the businesses who purchase apps and deal a lot with you when you guys have questions and she's going to be speaking, not sure if the next event or the one after but very, very soon on some of her strategies that she basically teaches on social media. So, Jen, what's up?
Hi guys. It's awesome to be here. Thanks, Vince. Awesome. Hi, Greg. Hi, Martin.
What's up, girl?
Every time I go somewhere, I see you guys. Awesome. I love it. I'm definitely in the right spot. You hang out with the right people. I'm very excited to be here with Vince and Martin and Greg and everybody that's on the hangout. But yeah, I've been really fell in love with social media about three years ago and was working on my own business. I was JenBen.com maybe some of you guys have heard some of that around and just really love helping people with the social media marketing and just branding in general. Just definitely making sure everybody's branded the right way. And then when Vince and I started talk, he was like, yeah, well, maybe we could work out, kind of swap a little bit of stuff. I can help you, you can help me. And I was like, great, let's do that. And then now here we are six months later, working on this amazing company and really loving the contact that I have with everybody. So some of you have gotten some emails from me, some phone calls from me, but I'm really looking forward to connecting with your business apps and your business owners and really, you know, just helping everybody grow in the business. And Martin, it was funny, he was like, hey, you want to come join global apps? I'm all, I'm already in global apps. So that was really cool. Those of you that are here, you're in the cutting edge, you're in the start, you're with the greatest people. And then Greg's laughing at me like.
No, I found a bunch of. Check this out.
What?
Listen.
Absolutely.
That's exactly how I'm going to be your hangout DJ for the evening. Hi.
Hello.
Hands in the air because we're so excited. So you guys, I'm really excited about working with all of you. Connect with me on Facebook. I am letting everybody into the secret group that's logged in today. It's a two step process. So why I have you for a second. I'll take like one minute of housekeeping. You sent the email to me with your email that you log into Facebook with. Then I submit you into the secret group and then you're going to get a confirmation that says you've been invited to the secret group. You click on that link and then I add you to the group. So it's a little bit tricky. But this is a secret group, it's very exclusive. Vince has a lot of edification that goes on to everyone in the group. This is not just for anybody. This is for those of you who want to come in. So it does take a Couple of extra steps. Feel free to friend me on Facebook as well. If you want some ask questions, you can email me@jennlobalopsnetwork.com and we'll make sure that everybody gets in the group. So I'm going to be in and out of this hangout. I'm going to be working and adding more people to the group as they come in. But thank you, Vance. I'm very excited to be here and I'm really looking forward to working with all of you. And Greg's still laughing at me.
My wife just walked in a second ago. She's used to my webinars where nobody can see, like, the streaming video. She's all, wait a minute, that streaming video. She just. Anyways, I know my husband just walked.
In the door and went, oh, no. And he, like, ducked under the counter. He's like, they can't see me. I'm like, it's all good. He's like, do you want coffee? I'm like, yeah, I'll take coffee.
Always.
Awesome. Froney, what's up, brother? Oh, no problem. Thank you. We appreciate it. Fronie, what's going on, man? I heard you got something going on in Vegas soon, dude.
There's a little event happening, a little pow.
Wow.
Awesome, man.
Awesome.
I love Fernie, dude. All right, cool. Well, right now we're just. This is called our roundtable. It's kind of like how we get everyone warmed up before we actually start our event. And we like to bring on awesome people like you and share what's going on. So Jen just kind of talked a little bit about some of the things she's doing with us, but I wanted to. I invited you personally to come on. And next month, actually, I invited you to speak and talk a little bit about what you do. Putting on events, SEO, all that good stuff. I love it, Martin, but wanted to bring you on a little bit to just talk a little bit about what's going on next month. And before I actually have you do that, let me do a proper introduction because if you guys don't know Fernie, he's just an amazing guy, has an awesome heart. And really, for me, it's changed my life because my first event in this industry was no Excuses one. I've been at every single one. And I'm upset because I actually am going to miss a lot of this year because I'm going to be in a wedding or in a wedding, but at a wedding. And it was one of those things where it was like, you're Going to this wedding. Sorry, so I had to be there. But I am going to fly in on Saturday night and hopefully be there a lot on Sunday. But anyways, this is a place where you get to meet the very best marketers and speakers and entrepreneurs and business professionals in the world. I thought it was important. One of the things that we want to do here and why it's really exclusive is one we want to bring on the very best people in the world to pop in. This is what the roundtable is all about. You don't have to be a local apps network distributor rep or anything like that. We just want to let you guys know where you should be to become a better marketer, to become a better business professional and get the best information from individuals that have actually done it. So I wanted Freddie to come on and talk a little bit about no excuses and what he's doing there and who's speaking and why you should be there and, you know, do it. So definitely, Frodo, you come on and let's tell us some of the cool things and surprises that you got going on there.
Thanks, man. Appreciate it. You guys hear me?
Okay? Absolutely.
Awesome, man. I'm actually in Mammoth.
So just stepping off, that's what the lighting is all messed up. But appreciate you guys having me on. I look forward to speaking next month to everybody here on whatever topic Vince decides they need to speak on. But essentially what's happening in Vegas in a couple of months is the no Excuses Summit. It's the biggest generic training event in our industry, in our online network marketing, direct sales world. And every year we try to top ourselves. We design a curriculum that's complete, meaning from A to Z traffic. Conversion.
Actually making money. So conversion and making money can be two separate things. Generating a lead is conversion, but not necessarily making money. Actually selling a product to somebody is making money leverage. Where you can either build systems that allow you to increase your income or help you make money without you even being there, or it can be leveraged in the terms of network marketing, in growing a big organization and creating a residual stream of income and having that stream of income grow and grow without you necessarily doing much more work than you're already doing. So we'll be talking about all these topics and no excuses. And we have speakers. And it's really a misnomer that we call them speakers because they're really trainers. They're really there to train on everything someone needs to know about generating income from home in whatever field, whether it's Internet marketing, affiliate marketing, or Direct sales. And this year we have an incredible lineup. Every year we try to top ourselves. Greg Gomez is actually going to be one of our speakers at the no Excuses Summit covering some closing strategies as it relates to handling objections.
As some people in your network may know when it's time to close some sales, especially when high ticket sales, it helps a ton if you know how to approach somebody and actually call them on the phone and talk to them for a few minutes.
Obviously with the Internet, we're blessed in that we don't have to really hard close anybody. If you generate your own leads and those people already know who you are and they already know why you're calling them. But there's still objections that may come up, especially when it involves a lot of money, high ticket programs. So Greg Gomez will be talking about handling objections and a lot of other speakers will be talking about other aspects of the marketing funnel. And essentially when you leave, our promise is that you will have complete knowledge and how to on every one of these aspects, whether it's traffic conversion, generating money, leverage, leadership, and also have opportunities for ongoing education. Two huge superstars that we have this year.
We just announced them the other night on our kickoff webinar for no Excuses and.
Did something happen? Are we good?
Okay, we're good.
Okay.
Is there.
Yes. Okay, I see you. We're good.
All right, so two major speakers that we're having that we brought in again, all part of the tradition of topping ourselves is gonna be one Bill Walsh. He's a business icon, runs, is the founder of Rainmaker Summit and has helped multiple people around the world build their businesses everywhere from a home business owner to a million dollar companies, million dollar corporations, up to half a million dollars in revenue. He's mentored Robert Allen, Mark, Victor Hanson and many others that you would know that are bestselling authors. In addition to the icon of Bill Walsh, we're also having Gary Vaynerchuk, social media expert, the author of Crush It, New York Times best selling Authority, Wall Street Journal best selling author, has been all over the media, cnn, msnbc, you name it, he's been on tv. He is huge. He's probably the premier.
Marketing expert in the world and he's been acknowledged by the mainstream media as such.
He'll be hanging out on Friday. Vince, you're gonna miss Friday because he's.
Gonna hang out at some.
I'm so mad, dude. I'm so mad about that.
So we confirmed he will be there during our VIP events on Friday. Just hanging out, having a few cocktails. Just like everybody else. So you'll be able to take your picture with him, have a conversation, etc. With him, Bill Walsh and all our incredible lineup of speakers. If I told you about everybody that's speaking, I'd probably take up all the time for your hangout here. So people can just simply go to no excusesummit.com tickets and you can view the entire lineup. You can view the exact subject that they'll be speaking on, get details as to what you're getting, and it's just going to be freaking awesome. So you got to make it there. You got to go to NoExuseSummit.com tickets or just go to NoExcuseSummit.com and you'll see a tab for tickets.
Hey, Jen, before you go, can you put that in the comments on the page?
Yeah, sure can.
For those interested in. And by the way, guys, that's not my affiliate link. It's not anything. I just truly believe in it. It shaped me. It helped me, you know, be the man that I am today. I mean, I can. I'll never forget the first one. I was sitting back, I was like, you know, I thought that, you know, people that came to these things were a little crazy. And then I realized that the people that aren't at those things are the crazy ones because you start to see literally what. You start to realize the difference in mindset and that there are a lot of people like you that are on the journey to creating wealth online and in this industry. And honestly, I think everyone here I've met at events. I mean, that's how we met. So I want to make sure that I'm always sharing with you guys the places to connect. It's all about joint venture partners. You never know that one person that you meet, that one tip that you get, can be all the difference in the world. So I don't share this because I think Fernie is an awesome dude. I share it because I truly believe that it will help you. And I think everyone, when you have a chance to get to an event, definitely go and obviously see some awesome people like Greg.
And also one of your other speakers later today, Matt Lloyd, Ray Higdon. They'll be speaking at no Excuses.
Is Dagan speaking? Excuse me, Is Dagan speaking this year?
Dagan is actually a moderator for one of our panels. So Dagan will be on stage as well.
Yes. Awesome. So we've got five or four speakers this time. Speaking. And we'll be speaking there. So you guys will get a sneak peek at what you're going to get.
Can you give me the link to that one more time? I was trying to type it in and I missed it.
Noexcusessummit.com.
Tickets.
Okay, that's what I thought. Thank you.
Awesome, man. And I look forward to having you. Come on. What's that?
A MacBook. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt the flow there. I was just surprised. My MacBook, first time ever, completely crashed on me, so that's why I was out for a minute.
Oh, man, don't even worry about it. I had one of my webinars crashed last week, and everyone was, like, right in the middle of the good stuff, too.
Home business entrepreneurs.
A journey to a remote location in the desert.
That's awesome. And that's what the video sounds like when you guys go to the page.
I was texting the link.
I want to know who made that. Whose voice is that? Is that you, like, disguised?
That's Raymond's mom.
Wow.
You're lucky he's not here. Yeah, I know. He'll kick my butt when I'm in Vegas. I'm just kidding.
No, that's. Quite honestly, that's some voice actor from Fiverr.
Really? Are you kidding me? Wow.
Wow.
Pretty good.
That's awesome. So tell us about that. That's actually a good little tip. So basically, you got a guy from Fiverr. I mean, he didn't do that for five bucks, obviously.
Pretty close.
Wow. See, this is what we want here. So basically, you guys, frody is promoting the biggest event probably in our industry, and the guy who did the voiceover for the video cost him $5. So everyone out there thinking that. I mean, I never would have thought of that. I never would have thought to go to Fiverr to get a voiceover guy, but trust me, I definitely will. Now.
There'S voiceover guys we've hired for, like, you know, 150 bucks an hour.
But in this particular case, none of them worked out. The other voices were not very good. And then we decided to just go to Fiverr and put a bid and see what we can get. And we got about three responses. And one of them was pretty good.
Nice. That's awesome, man. It's all about being efficient again. Those types of things are the reason why you should be really pumped and excited that you're here, because.
Look at.
What technology is doing. He just said that people were offering $150 to do a voiceover, and now you can get it done for pretty much five bucks. People are willing to do this type of work, which means that technology is truly taking over. So you gotta be able to position yourself in front of it. I think that's why these events are great and awesome. So I appreciate it, man. I look forward to you coming on. And feel free to pop in and out all day. We'll be going on. Stick around all day. We're gonna be here having a great time. Greg's up Next in about 25 minutes.
You ready on this hangout?
Yeah, we'll be here. We're just gonna be here going all day, man. So it's gonna be a hard run.
Alright, I'll try to pop in after lunch. I'm gonna go boarding right now. I'm in Mammoth and then I'll make it back after I've fallen my butt a few times.
Awesome, buddy. Well, be safe, man. We don't want you, you know, on crutches.
And no excuses, don't break your car. I don't either, man.
All right, buddy, thanks for coming on.
There's a video of me snowboarding on Facebook that I posted. So go check it out.
I definitely will.
Alright, guys, you guys take care. I'm gonna take off.
Take care. Alright, buddy, take care. Alright, guys, so what I want to do right now before we get started and we've got some more people gonna be popping in, I want to go through, I want to go over some of the people who did really well during our affiliate competition. And also I want to show you.
Something that we did actually, that I did yesterday. So let's get into that. Let me go. Let me. Actually, Greg, entertain us with a joke for about two minutes.
Okay, so two dudes. Two dudes dress like nuns. They walk into a bar. Bartender says, get the heck out of here. What are you doing?
That's the joke. It's awesome.
It's one of those running gags so that later on when there's a lull, I'll say it again and everybody will start laughing. It's pretty solid. Watch.
Awesome.
I love it.
All right. I think I was just. What we needed though.
Was that enough entertainment?
I think it was. All right, so I got my slide ready. Let's see.
Let's see what we got going on here. All right, so give me a second, guys.
I was going to mention while you're doing that.
Oh, Google effects. That's why I'm doing it wrong. While Fernie was on, I was going to say that I am the reigning expert of experts from last year's event and that's why I was wearing the crown. It wasn't because I think I'm Kinkahuna. It's because of that. And then when we were on the hangout the other night, I put on the tiara that I found in the effects, and I didn't get a chance to be able to wear it. So in the group. So there you go.
That's awesome, man. And I was the one in the crowd, like, screaming the loudest, like a raging fan.
Something, huh?
Yeah, I was there, too.
Actually. I just want to take credit for you winning, but.
No, I'll give credit to you for the win. That's exactly it.
No, I'm kidding. He honestly was honestly, like, there's not. I don't want to. Let me just say it like it is. There's not a lot of people who.
I can, like, just hear him say a couple words and be like, okay, that guy clearly knows what the heck he's talking about. A lot of people out there, you're like, what are you talking about? Like, what? But Greg definitely is. So let me see what I'm trying to do here.
What am I doing?
All right, so let's see. This is what I'm trying to do. All right, here we go.
This should work now.
This should work.
All right, here we go. I want to say congrats to everyone who took part in our amazing first month, and, you know, it was awesome. So for those of you who did not see the winners of the competition, we gave out over 25,000 in cash and prizes, and it was awesome. So I invited him on Gavin. And Gavin Cornelius is an amazing marketer and pretty new to the industry, which is why I think that him being able to get into the top 10 was phenomenal. I mean, this guy is actually one of the top producers in my other marketing system. So he takes home an ipod shuffle and the honor of basically competing with the big boys and letting everyone know that he's a serious marketer. And I can't tell you by you just competing, by you just challenging yourself and pushing yourself. And I will say this. If you can market your business with the intensity of a product launch every day, everyone can make six figures. It's just amazing what people do when there's a competition, when there's, like, an ipod shuffle and a notoriety. MLI Like, I actually, mentally, when I'm marketing, I act as if I'm always in a product launch. So just a quick tip there in ninth place, Mr. Greg Gomez, who I'm pretty sure would have probably Finished a lot higher. He got started a little later. You know, all these guru guys are doing a gazillion things. Sometimes it's very difficult to, you know, plan all these different things to promote. But he still managed to find things I was promoting. I know you were all over the place. And he still wins ipod shuffle and, you know, obviously ninth place. So awesome, man. Awesome job.
Thank you, sir.
And I'm really, you know, honored to have you here, man. And then eighth place, a guy named Mr. William Rapp who should be jumping on any second. I sent him an invite here. And, you know, I love William because he truly cares about the people that he, you know, brings on on board. I mean, I can't tell you how many times I spoke to him. And also, just like Martin, I see him at a lot of the events, and he does well. So he cracks the top 10 and gets in eighth place and wins the iPod shuffle as well. And seventh place, Mr. Martin Ware. I'm actually going to have you say a few words, man, and talk a little bit about some of the strategies and bonuses. I actually did a webinar for Martin. It was one of his first ones, and he did an awesome job. Takes home seventh place. And it was really tight. I mean, Martin made a push for sixth and even was pushing fifth for a while, so he did an amazing job. In sixth place, Mr. Vincent Ortega Jr. You know, a great guy. I mean, guys just. I mean, honestly, one of those guys that I truly respect more and more and more. I get to know him. He takes on sixth place and then into the top five. It was definitely a battle to the end. In fifth place in our competition, it was Mark who finished fifth, Mr. Mark Hoverson. And he takes home a mini hi pad and $250 in cash bonuses. And you guys, obviously, we'll see that. I like Apple products. So he takes on the mini iPad. He was really excited about it. In fact, he was like, man, maybe I should just try to get fifth. But we really wanted that iPad, the mini iPad. In fourth place, Mr. Justin Glover, who came out of nowhere not to win, but literally from the last 10 hours of the.
Melange, I mean, he just went. I just kept seeing order after order. I mean, the guy just came roaring in to take fourth place. And it seems like every affiliate competition, this guy's always in the top five or top 10. So he takes home an iPad and a $500 cash bonus. And then third place, Mr. Matt Lloyd, who will be speaking later on. And it's funny. Matt made me Have a heart attack. Another one that I had probably the last few hours trying to figure out all this stuff, stuff we're doing now. But he calls me last night and he's like, dude, I can't do because we had him scheduled to go first where Greg is. And we were gonna have Greg go next month with Mark because Mark Hogerson speaking next month. And he's like, dude, it's gonna be like one or two in the morning in Australia. I'm like, dude, you the one told me to put you with the first speaker, so I had to sweep. He's gonna go later and be the last speaker today. And it's exciting. So he takes home the MacBook Air and $1,000 in cash. And then in second place, my mentor, Jonathan Budd, who did an amazing job and obviously I don't really need to say much, you know who he is. He basically crushed it and takes home the imac desktop computer, which I tried to desperately keep and say, hey man, you really don't need that thing. It's the flat screen version. It's way better than the one I have. I was pretty jealous. And $2,000 in cash, I should say. So not bad for a few weeks of work. And then in first place, Mr. Ray Higgin, who's also going to be speaking later. And I can't wait to hear this because he's going to be talking to you guys a lot about becoming a best selling author and something that he added to his repertoire of things that he does. Obviously the number one income earner in this company, he takes home the where you want to go vacation package pretty much anywhere in the world. And a $5,000 cash bonus. So congratulations to all of the people who took place.
On our first competition and we're going to continue to have them. And I'm sure that a lot of you watching will be there in the future and be on our next ones. Let me go back here. So what I want to do is. Martin, how did you do it, man? Tell us how you did it.
Wow.
I just wrote this down just like always for more. Like it's a launch, you know, I just literally, and I'll be honest with you, I didn't sleep.
I took this.
My very first event that I ever went to. I actually heard.
It'S a leader in this industry. Tracy Walker, very first interview I ever did. I was super nervous and I just asked her like, what, you know, if you can give me any advice, like what could you give me? And she's like, basically don't sleep, you know, And I was like, okay. So I took that on and through the launch, I literally did not sleep. So I was just basically just going after it, you know?
You know that. And.
I just, I approach people that I truly believe needed this, you know, and, and people that I really wanted to work with that I built a relationship with and you know, people that, that, that I respected and that we've built some type of rapport. So I approach those people first. And then I started, just started doing posts, started doing videos. I just got on Google and some, some. Some sales came from. From that. So.
It was just being out there, being relentless.
Not giving up and just believing in yourself, knowing that you can actually do this.
Awesome, man. Well, there's a lot of people watching right now.
And.
Let me know specifically what was your plan in this launch? We did a webinar. You obviously promoted hard for webinar. You do a lot of videos. But what's your thought process behind it? Because a lot of times we people like, like for me, something that I'm really focused on right now is when I share something I don't want to take for granted, like that there are some people that have no idea what I'm talking about. Like, so for example, when I'm telling people that with global Apps network.
You.
Can.
Basically go after businesses, right? You can go talk to businesses and go to be. Go B2B. I was saying B2B all the time. B2B B2B. You can go post ads and say B2B opportunity. B2B opportunity. And then finally someone was like, what does B2B mean? You know what I mean? So we as marketers fail sometimes to realize that they are people that have no idea what post a video or do with some of the things that you did. Give us something specifically like your thought process of actually like what? Let's just take us to the Google or the posting on Facebook or a strategy that you actually. What does that actually entail? What did you actually do?
Okay, I guess this is a bigger one. And just to go straight into specifics.
I actually offered a bonus. And you are on my webinar and you heard the bonus I was giving. I actually just threw a bonus in there that anyone that joined me would get a bonus. And a lot of people took me up on that offer.
But basically I was giving some stuff away. A lot of it was my time, so people that joined me. So here's the strategy. You can give a bonus away. And I actually learned this from Matt Lloyd, he's one of my mentors that's going to be speaking later today. But giving away a bonus definitely helps. There's a lot of people promoting, I don't know how many exactly we're promoting for this event, but.
By you stepping away from everybody else and offering.
Your time or a product that you've had or something, a Facebook private group, I did that. And a lot of people actually like that because they like to interact as human beings.
We like to associate ourselves. That's why we join sports, that's why we join groups. That's why some people join gangs. Not to be negative or anything, but.
That'S why we do that. So if you can offer something.
Even.
If you're a brand new person, you can offer your time. There's some people, even if you're a week old into this industry, you know more than the person that's just a couple steps behind you. So if you can offer your time or you can offer something that's of value on top of what Vince was already giving. Because, Vince, I mean, you gave a lot of stuff on bonuses and things like that, but I actually just threw some stuff on top of that that people really, they were going to join anyway, so they were pretty much shopping for bonuses.
Okay, well, let me tell you what I heard you say and what I saw. And this is kind of like my marketing eye. Maybe someone can pick it up. First thing I heard you say, and something that I saw was you did a webinar. Everyone had finished in the top, except I think maybe, I don't know if Gavin and William did a webinar, but I think every other person did a webinar that finished in the top. That was the first thing. So they got a group of people together, they shared themselves, and they finished in the top 10. So my question would be if you didn't, did you do a webinar? Now, I know this is one of the first few webinars that you had ever done, correct?
Yeah.
It was actually one of my very first ones.
So you didn't have a ton of people there, but you had enough to get you into the top 10. You had enough to get you right here. Now people know that you're a serious marketer and that you don't have to have all these technical skills in terms of being this techie guy, which I'm clearly not, to finish the top 10 on leaderboard. So that's the first thing that I saw. You did a webinar, you got a group of people together. So how did you promote for that webinar? What did you do to get people there?
I actually just use Facebook chat a lot.
I sent a lot of messages out. I didn't promote it. I've actually. I've gotten banned from Facebook, so I can't promote on Facebook for some reason. So I actually just used the Facebook chat.
Martin, get with me and I'll show you how to get around that.
Okay.
Awesome.
Yes.
I have four accounts back. Yeah.
See, guys, it's about associating yourself with people that are way smarter than you, like Greg and Jen and Vince and everyone else. So that's the secret. No, I'm just kidding. But I definitely just. I use Facebook chat. You know, anyone that I.
Approach, I definitely let them know that I was having a webinar. I also use. Here's another thing that you guys can probably use that I use, and I saw a few sales come in is I actually use the Facebook events. You know, if you use a Facebook event, I just use that every day. I was promoting while we're in launch, and a few people came out of that. I mean, it's super easy to do if you just go to Facebook and just click on events. You just, you know, you add a title, add a description, add a hyperlink, which is basically a link to go, you know, to wherever you want them, wherever you want to send them to. And I use that. That actually helped me. That got me a few sales as well.
So just promoting on Facebook, I didn't do no solo ads. I didn't do anything. Any paid advertising, much of that. So it was just mostly free stuff, if you guys want to call it free. I mean.
I paid with my time, so I was just promoting like that, basically.
That's awesome, man. Okay, cool. And there was one other thing that I noticed that you did, and I want you to know I watch everything. I'm like. I'm watching, right?
You mirror. You mirror, man. I saw that. There was, like. I saw one thing that you do. You blogged. You blogged about it, and I noticed and on some of the blogs, you even would take some of the copy that sent out. So you didn't have to worry about copy. Make it your own. And then you would send the blog post out. That would drive more traffic to you. Talk a little bit about that.
Right, right. So, yeah, I just basically swiped the copy that you sent and just changed up the few words. I didn't copy it all to just everything that you said. I added a little bit of my touch to it but basically that was pretty easy because I didn't have to write the whole blog post. I just used a lot of your words and just added a little touch of mine.
Posted it.
On my blog, on my website and started getting traffic from there. At one point I was actually ranking. I actually had about six things ranked on the first page of Google, which was awesome. So it was videos and also blog posts that I had.
Another thing that I did. Oh, go ahead.
No, no, go ahead. I was just going to say. So you just failed to keep those secrets from us, right? The fact that you run page one of Google. But that's okay, man, it's cool, go ahead.
If you go to YouTube, you can actually see a video I created where I was actually on the first page. I had a whole bunch of stuff on there. So I did document it. I did take your advice and I did document some of that.
And what advice is that? What do I always tell you?
Well, Vince, I see Vince a lot at different events and every time I see him he's like, man, you got it. You got to document your stuff, you got to post stuff and you got to capture when you're on Google and things like that. So I did take that advice. I did. And just those little short wins, guys, it doesn't have to be a big win where obviously yeah, we all want to make a six figure income or higher, whatever, but.
You got to take on those little wins. Like even getting on the first Google, so many people think it's hard, but if you just, just practice right, you could get, you could do it right or you can come in intense or in, you know, top 10 in affiliate content. You just gotta, you just gotta want and want to go for it.
That's awesome, man. Very good, dude. Well, we appreciate you for being here, man. And I know that you are gonna be here a lot because you definitely committed industry and that's awesome, man. Any other things that you would tell people like that you, they could do to, you know, I guess get more people to see their products and put their information in front of more people or any advice, just in business in.
General.
I would say.
If I give any advice, I would say, you know, definitely go into the back office. There's you know, before anything, before you approach anybody, make sure you do your homework. Because by doing that I literally when I first joined Vince, I stood up. I mean, you know, I literally, like I said, I stood up quite a while. I stood up a few hours just going through the back office and just digging through all the training. So before anything, go through the back office and go through the stuff that's back there, because that's actually going to give you.
It's going to give you confidence to actually talk about what we're doing here. Because if you don't know what we're doing, you just approach somebody like, hey, you want a business app? They're going to ask you questions or they're going to stump you. And once you do that and you don't have an answer for it, you just lose all credibility. So by you actually doing your homework first, going through the back office, and by the way, there's a lot of. Everything in the back office has a video, so Vince actually goes through in detail and explains everything in the back office. Anything you need to know before even hit a support ticket or ask for support ticket, definitely go through the videos because pretty much everything's in there that you need.
Yeah, I would say, yeah, I definitely go to the back office before anything else. And, and. And definitely, you know, do your. Do your homework. You know, it's like anything, if you. Anything that you take on. If you don't do your homework or actually know what you're talking about, you're not going to give 100% effort.
Absolutely. All right, man. Well, look, I appreciate it. And we're about at the time where the expert of experts will grace the.
Global Apps Network stage for the first time. The first speaker in the history of Global Apps Network. The man, the myth, the legend. My best friend in the industry. My roomie. My roomie.
That's it, man.
My workout partner.
Yeah, more like you dragged me through your workouts.
I winded him, guys. Mr. Cleave. Mr. Cleave.
Too funny.
I really am excited to have Greg on board and I think that. Who's that? No, I'm just kidding. Somebody was walking behind Jen. I thought, you know, it was like the movie. I thought it was the movie Scream or somebody comes up behind. We're like, can you see him? And no one else came.
No, it's my husband.
No, I know. All right.
No.
So, but anyways, honestly, the reason I'm really excited to have Greg here is because a lot of us are approaching businesses, we're approaching individuals, and we're talking about actual physical product. I think what makes this cool, the whole Global Apps Network thing, is not just the training, these live events. I mean, can you imagine how much better these things are going to get as we really get going with these each and every month?
Your ability to understand sales, your Ability to understand what goes on.
From both perspectives is important. And there's nobody in this industry better than Greg Gomez. So with that being said, man, the floor is yours. And I'll be taking notes.
I want to start before we get going here. I do have a presentation and this is my first time doing a screen share, guys. So you guys are going to have to excuse my techno not knowingness. But Vince and Martin and Jen as well, if you want to chime in on this. I always ask this question to folks who are online marketers or people that recruit online or do things online for lead generation, all that stuff. The obvious question becomes, in today's day and age, why should we still consider using the phones? Why would we even want to pick up the phone to do stuff? You know what I mean? And one of the things that I run into with a lot of people, especially in this industry, is you see people posting about how, oh, I made X amount of dollars, a ton of money and I didn't have to pick up the phone to call anybody at all. I wanted to know what your guys thoughts are on that. Vince, if you want to take a.
Second to start in terms of picking up the phone and calling people. Yeah, it's the only way to grow your business.
Okay, why do you say that though? I agree with you. But why do you say it? Because there's a big confliction here and a lot of the people that are on this, watching this webinar right now, one of the things that they would say is, let's be honest, I'm not excited about picking up the phone for all kinds of different reasons. I'm going to get into those reasons right now. But in all honesty, that's not everyone's favorite thing to want to do. Would you agree with that?
Absolutely. I mean, everyone kind of the Internet and Ray Higdon is. I heard this first from Ray Higdon. A lot of people come to the Internet out of weakness.
Oh yeah.
Because they don't want to basically pick up the phone. They don't want to communicate with people. The Internet and these strategies that we teach are just ways to get you to pick up the phone and actually have more people to talk to.
Right.
Not the other way around. So it's the only way to grow your business.
It's the only way. I don't think that it's one of the ways you've got to be willing to pick up the phone. Now granted, as you get going, you don't have to talk as much as you used to.
Right.
But it's still important and that's why it was a necessity for me to make sure you were part of this in a big way. Because those skills, people are losing those skills, the ability to communicate with people. So that would be what I would say for that.
Absolutely. Martin, do you have anything you want to add to that?
Yeah, actually I was actually one of those people. So if you're on here and you're like, man, I just don't want to pick up the phone. I just afraid of the phone. Right. I actually got a few sales from actually picking up the phone. So I didn't disclose that earlier, but that actually helped me get a few sales. It was actually pretty easy because people were. I actually Facebooked them first and I got them interested and then I transferred it into the phone call. So it wasn't like a cold call, but it was more like a.
I transferred it from one place then to the phone call. So it was just. I totally agree. You got to get on the phone. Sales come in faster and you definitely grow your business like that.
Absolutely. Jen, anything you want to add on that?
Absolutely. I'm not afraid of the phone. I love the phone. So I'm the opposite. But I tend to.
What I tend to do on the phone is not close on the phone. I just want to talk and get to know them and let them know that I'm there, that whatever I'm marketing has value. Whether it's Vince's product, your product, my product, Jonathan Budd's product, I don't have a problem talking to them. It's the closing on the phone that sometimes it gets a little. I don't think I do that well of a job. So that's what I'm looking forward to taking from that. But talking to people is absolutely the number one thing. That's how you build a relationship.
In my network marketing career, they don't join necessarily the business. They join you. And if they don't know you and you can't be their. And they don't really have access to you and know that you're a normal person and hear your voice, that part is awesome. So I'm just looking at it on the other end. I'll talk to people all day long. But that's really what's going to grow your business to the next level, is talking to people.
I agree with that. Absolutely.
No, hey, thanks for all your guys feedback. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to do my best to screen share. Let's see if this works.
You want to make sure you show your desktop. It'll be on the left side.
Okay. Show desktop. All right, so I showed desktop, start screen share infinity.
So you'll want to lower that down. Yeah, there you go. And then search.
You guys see that? Okay.
Yes we can.
All right, so I want to welcome you guys to my Simple Selling Blueprint. This is a course that I've done for several hundred dollars for my paid clients. They have to be members of my programs to be able to get access to. That's what I'm going to give it to you guys here today. So I hope that you enjoy this. So the title of today's talk is Simple Selling Blueprint. Easy fun strategies to increase your bottom line profits by 300%. Three simple systems to maximize your startup profits while virtually eliminating rejection. Now here's one of the big things and really one of the reasons why I wanted to start with perspectives from successful people. I mean guys, if you're not generating the revenue that you want in your business, you got to understand your business goes through stages and when you're first getting started, it's all about getting at first getting leads, secondarily converting those leads into sales. And if you are an Internet marketing bad ass to really use that term correctly and you don't need to pick up the phone as much, that's fine. I still argue that all of those folks at the top tier still pick up the phone. No matter what they tell you about. I never picked up the phone to talk to anybody. They're lying to you, period. They did pick up the phone and here's why. They developed relationships with top tier folks. They got bigger people involved in their businesses on the phone. You know why? Because many of them call me on the phone trying to get me involved with different things. Alright? So that being said, I just want to plant that seed to understand that the phone is a necessary tool. But I understand and I get that there are a lot of fears and that kind of stuff. So one of the big things that I always ask where I go over is why phones and a social media world with all this technology, why do we even need to use the phones? We have all these other different modes of communication. And before I go into justifying why the phones are important, I want you guys to understand I start all of my trainings with this. You've got to understand that there are three marketing basics to running a successful marketing campaign and a successful business. If you want to generate more money, you have to adhere to these three golden rules, the trinity of marketing, I call them. In order to build a successful marketing campaign, the first thing is money. Market selection. Who is it that you are talking to? Who is your lowest hanging fruit? And if you say anybody in the world that wants this product, that can help everybody, like network marketing companies like to tell you that's wrong because you can't afford to market to everybody in the world at first. So what can you do? Common thing I hear from chiropractors that I've consulted with in the past. Who's your ideal prospect or who's your ideal client? Anybody with the spine, right? Come on, man. If you think about it, there are ideal people who are perfect for your offer. And here's a good example of that. Picking the wrong market. I don't care how awesome your site is, I don't care how cool your opportunity is, your products or services or whatever it is you're doing, you pick the wrong market. The rest of that doesn't matter. The example I have is if you're selling fur, you don't go to a PETA convention to sell your wares. You get that you are going to get beaten. They say don't hurt animals, but they're going to throw paint at you and all this kind of stuff. So it's important that you are focusing your offer to the most dialed in, laser focused, lowest hanging fruit of a market that you possibly can. So that's market selection. Message creation then is what do you say? That laser beam hits that group right between the eyes and gets them to pay attention to what it is you're saying and break their preoccupation from everything else they're doing and get them genuinely excited over what it is you have to offer. It's not about what you want to sell, it's about what your market wants to buy. That's really a big thing that we all as marketers need to shift our focus to. You want to sell more stuff? Here's a simple solution. Stop focusing on what you want to sell. Start concentrating on what your market wants to buy, why and how. Why do they want to buy it, how do they want to buy it and what do they want to buy? You focus on those three things you ask those questions that naturally progress just from thinking. That way you'll get a better idea of who your market is and ultimately you'll learn how to craft a compelling message that gets those folks super excited about your offer. So first two steps, who are we talking to? What are we saying to get Them excited. Third thing is our delivery mechanism. Now this is where everybody goes all gaga and falls in love with stuff. And this is the challenge that's plaguing our industry. Shiny object syndrome I call it. This is about how we put this targeted message in front of that targeted group. That's all that this is. These are in order of importance. You've got to have a great market, laser focused market, a really compelling message, and then you need to put that message in front of those folks in a way that allows you to maximize your time and have maximum impact based on that specific group's needs. So if I'm targeting the elderly and elderly homes, Facebook and Twitter is probably not going to be my best communication method. It might be direct mail, it might be phone calls. More specifically, it might be a person to person visit. Those are all delivery mechanisms. So let me give you some examples. Radio, television, newspaper ads, magazines, flyers, brochures, three way calls, belly to belly hotel presentations, you have the Internet, you have Facebook, you have pay per click marketing, you have social media, you have SEO, you have all these other things. They're all ways of delivering your message. We all understand that. Does everybody get that? That is what it is?
Too much. I see this industry focusing on this thing, even picking up the phones is this process. What I see a lot of folks doing is they're all giddy and love struck and dumbfounded over how awesome the newest, latest, greatest delivery system is. Apps is a perfect way, or in this case, text messaging is another delivery mechanism. The reason this methodology works so well is because of the impact that cell phones have had in our industry. In the world in general, there are more cell phones than there are computers basically going to be sold and people are going to own them here very soon. My desktop, I don't even touch, I moved to a laptop. And then from my laptop I'm starting to find myself more and more doing stuff from my cell phone. And I'm starting to see finally the benefits of an iPad. And now that it can do a lot of the stuff where I can pretty much run my business from it, I'm starting to go more towards that. Okay, so bottom line is this. If you concentrate too much on the delivery mechanism and you never focus on who your market is and what they need to hear to get excited, you're losing out on 90% of your revenue. That's how impactful it is. Sorry, I didn't want to lecture too long on that. But this is it guys. You get this down, you know how to do this. This becomes your morning Cheerios every day. Or breakfast cereal. I shouldn't use brands or logos or whatever. Once you really grasp this, you can then create compelling stuff. You guys were expecting me to be silly this whole time? You didn't realize I was going to get all serious on your butt, huh?
I love it though. I love it.
Alright, so with that understanding then we come back to the original question. So why the phone? Why do it right? If done like I'm going to show you guys here today, it's going to make a lot more cash with a lot less effort than traditional selling. The big challenge I see is that you've been taught to sell incorrectly. You've been taught to use the phone incorrectly. It's like using an ax, but using the blunt end of the axe to try to chop down a tree. Of course you're not going to enjoy doing it. You were taught the wrong way to do it. We're going to fix that today. Phone sales Doing it yourself. The good of doing it yourself. Let's see if I've got some good stuff. Dramatically increases your sales volume. Allows you to collect real time feedback about your offer and your ad copy. This is probably one of the biggest million dollar points I'll make today. If you just have the courage to pick up the phone and talk to leads that you've generated and ask them what attracted them to your offer. You'll collect real time feedback about what's working and what's not working and more importantly, where you missed in your offer. So you can go back to your ad copy, adjust it and start generating better quality leads, laser targeted, cheaper, so on and so forth. This also allows you to create a significant income with a much smaller lead base. Guys, you're not starting with 100,000 lead base. You're not starting with even 10,000 leads. In most cases, you're usually starting with a few hundred to get going. The way you have maximum impact on that lead list is developing a relationship through online mediums and then picking up the phone and driving that relationship home. And then I take it even further and say that you drive those relationships you've acquired over the phone even further by just shaking hands at live events. So again, another way to go, the bad side to doing telephone sales yourself is the selling part. And this is what it's because you've been taught incorrectly. So two ideas I'm going to suggest here. Nothing in business happens until a sale is made. I don't care whatever else you're doing in your business, if you're not selling in some capacity, you're not doing business. In my opinion, business is all about sales. Nothing in business happens until a sale is made. All great marketers on stage learned to sell first. Might not have liked it, but they did learn how to sell first. You look at guys like in our industry, Mike Dillard, he did cold dialing doctors and he learned how to get good at that. Dagan Smith, king of no calling leads, king of never calling leads. He learned to sell. He was an outside sales rep and he got good at it, at least decent enough that he learned how to progress it and got the basics down so he can continue it online. I got started as a telemarketer, then I started applying my strategies online and it just converted. I can go on forever with everybody that you see online, but that's it. So what's the bad side of it? Fear, rejection, ridicule. We're afraid of rejection. They're going to tell us no. Oh, oh my gosh. And I'm going to go cry under my sheets and all that stuff. It's easy for you to say, Greg, because you've developed a thick hide. You don't care what people think of you. But it's hard. It's this latent fear that we have of rejection, fear of ridicule. I told you that business wasn't going to be a success. I told you you weren't going to be successful with it. Right. How often have our friends or family, quote, unquote friends, quote, unquote family, supported us by telling us we're ridiculous, we need to go get a job. Right. And that fear of not performing is something that holds us back and the phones is amplified because those people can tell us and they could reinforce that fear that we have. Here's a big one that I run into a lot. Fear of success. People are terrified of becoming successful. You are afraid of success. If you're on this call right now and you're not where you want to be financially, you're afraid of success. Even the hosts on this call are afraid of success. There's a bigger vision that we have that we're not really willing to step into just yet. In fact, Vince, that was the first conversation that we had, wasn't it?
Absolutely.
Vince always lovingly says, yeah, the first time me and Greg talked, he lectured me for like an hour and a half.
He did, definitely.
And it was. The biggest reason was because I saw that was a new thing for me. As I was saying, the lack of or the fear of success, I Should say, and a lot of folks, and we all have it. I have it too. Pushing to a hundred million dollar business, there's tons of fear that goes along with it. So if you're here, you have a fear of success and that relates directly to the funk. I'm not going to go into hiring or recruiting others. You can get other folks. The good side to that is it eliminates your need to sell, leverages your sales reach so you can reach more people and allows for duplication. The bad side to it is training. Sales associates can distract from your core business focus. It's hard to find decent sales reps. Really what it comes down to is it's hard to find honest sales reps. If you advertise in papers and if you do sales teams, you have to do sales team babysitting. Again, which distracts from your main core business focus. The ugly is you have theft, you have fraud. If you have a sales associate that decides, oh, I got a credit card that I sold this person at, I think I'll go ahead and go take a trip to Tahiti. You have fraud that happens with that, like affiliate commission frauds, or just buy it and cancel it in a week and then I'll get the commissions and then it won't matter and then they disappear. It happens. Not as often as you would think, but it does happen. And if they are stealing from people, you're on the hook because you're the person that got them involved. So you got to be careful with that. The shipment paperwork, you got to do. So again, Greg, you've really done a compelling reason as to why this is not a really good reason to do phone sales. There's a lot of negative stuff that goes into it.
There's an easier, more effective way to find develop killer ninja sales teams that can make a big impact in your bottom line. You need only about three to five people, but the first person has to be yourself. You got to start with yourself because when you learn how to do the sales stuff, you're going to greatly impact your ability to sell. It's going to improve your overall online performance. And ultimately it allows you to outsource smart, knowingly and basically with maximum impact to other folks as you start to bring these people on. Okay, so one thing I want to do before we go forward. So that's basically why we do phone sales. Three things I want you guys to take from this. It's going to make you more money faster than anything you're doing right now. It's second thing is it's going to improve your online sales conversion because you're going to take the feedback and go implement it into your online process. And the third thing is it's going to allow you to scale out and outsource the selling portion very, very rapidly. And I'm going to go through how to do that stuff here in just a bit actually. I don't know if I'll have time for that. I'm just going to show you guys how to make more money today. Is that okay? Can we just focus on that because I got like 43 more minutes.
Absolutely not.
Greg.
We not talk about making money.
We want that.
No more money. Okay. I could just put a sombrero on and do the cha cha. Would that be better? Alright, so before I go into the three simple selling systems you guys can use right now to start generating more revenue in your businesses today, I don't care if your list is only 10 people big, I'm going to go through a fear refrain. Alright? So if you're scared of it, if you're scared of something, it means you're growing. It's forcing you to grow. Procrastination is another form of fear. It's a latent, more passive form of fear. You're finding yourself procrastinating at doing something. What it really means is that that's a growth opportunity for you. The most successful entrepreneurs are terrified out of their mind almost on a daily basis. Not because they're not calm or.
Not confident in themselves, but it's because they are stepping into a new area in their life and pushing bigger and better. You got to get over your fear of failure because you're going to fail. That is this industry. Everyone here has failed numerously, probably too many times to count. The difference is we fail our way forward, right? We're falling forward the entire time and eventually we stumble on big stacks of cash. Okay? You get up and keep tripping your way forward. I've seen, I don't know about you guys, but I've seen some of the dumbest, dumber than rock people I have ever met in my entire life. And they hand my lunch to me when it comes to making money. And I'm thinking, how the hell did you do that? And their biggest thing is that they do. They're not smarter, they're not better looking especially. Oh my gosh. But they're not better looking, they're not more educated. They just. They're what I call too stupid to quit. They get up and they move forward. They fall flat on their face. They get up, they move forward, they fall flat on their face and they continue to do it. And eventually they learn from their mistakes and they just figure it out by default, right? Another fear that people have is fear of making a mistake, failing your way to the top. We already talked about that. Just get over it. Speed of implementation. The key here is that you're going to fail. What you want to do is take a new technique that you get, not collect a bunch of. Because today, guys, here's something I want to break your stride here and we're going to go on a completely different real quick tangent. You're going to hear a lot of great stuff today. You want to make it work. How many times have you heard great stuff, guys? How many times have you been to a seminar or a conference or you've been on a train and you thought, man, I've got like 12 awesome ideas here and you never implemented any of them.
You can have all the knowledge in the world, but if you don't apply it, it is meaningless. Get off the webinar, go and hang out with your kids. Shut up, Greg. Vince says if you're not going to implement, it's not going to do anything. If you want to be successful, take notes on two or three me main strategies today. And your goal for this week should be to implement at least one or two of those this week and then another one or two of those the following week. These are monthly events. We're going to cram a month's worth of badass content in a few hours here. You guys need to take my recommendation. If I can suggest it to you, is if my opinion is worth anything to you, take a few of these strategies. Pick one that just says that's the fastest one I can implement and I know it can have an impact on my business and implement it. Take action with it. I guarantee it'll make you more money than knowing all the stuff in the world. All right, done lecturing you on that. Then we have fear of rejection. Prospecting is about sifting and sorting, not selling. Okay, guys, this is really one of the biggest things people are always concerned about prospecting. What I'm going to teach you today is going to show you how to eliminate a good portion of that prospecting, a good portion of that rejection. Because you're not going to be calling cold telephone leads. You're not going to get the phone book and dial leads from the phone book. You're actually going to call folks who already have some type of interest in what it is you have to offer. I'm going to show you how to frame it in such a way that you have a natural, what I call an in or a gate that allows people to be more responsive to you. So you're practically eliminating all of that. But here's what I want you guys to write down. Prospecting is not about selling. Prospecting is about sifting and sorting the interested from the non interested.
Prospecting is not about selling. It's about sifting and sorting the interested from the non interested. So what does that mean? It means you're basically calling folks up and you're saying, hey, I saw that you did this thing online. You were looking for this. Is that true? Yes, it was cool. Are you interested in learning how to do xyz? Yes, I am. Great. Then you continue the conversation. If they don't, they say, no, I'm good. I wasn't really looking. I was doing that. Okay, great. Thanks. Get them off the phone, move on to the next person. It's no big deal. You're sifting the interested from the non interested, and that's all you have to do. That's mind frame number one for rejection number two. I think it was Jeffrey Combs that I heard this from. I don't know if he originated it, but I really liked this. This encapsulated so much of what marketers have known, great salespeople have known, but most beginning rookies don't get when somebody says no to your offer, they're saying no to your offer, not you personally. So if you get somebody who doesn't take what you have, that doesn't make them stupid. That doesn't make them fools. I've never seen this more prevalent than in network marketing. This is one of the dumbest things I see taught in network marketing. In culture, this is encouraged. Well, they must be stupid because they don't see the opportunity in what we got, right? Come on, man. That person has their own reasons for not signing up with you, which most of which can be directly pointed to your ability to lead. If you're not a strong enough leader to guide them to that opportunity or to see that opportunity, then what winds up happening is that that person is just saying no to your offer because you're not framing it correctly because you're talking about yourself and not their needs. So when they say no to you, they're not saying no to the opportunity. They're not saying no to you. They're saying no to the offer because it's not right for them at that time. So we get defensive when these. These people are just too stupid to join our business. They don't get it. Ha ha. Guess what? That's not it. You can't use that excuse anymore because that's not true. The truth is, you have to take time to figure out what they're really looking for. And once you figured that out, then you say, this is what I've got. Would that help you? They say, no, that wouldn't help me. Or, I'm not interested in that. I'm happy with what I'm doing. Okay, great, thanks. They're not saying no to you as a person. They're saying no, that. That offer doesn't fit me framed that way. So bear that in mind. And here's the big thing you guys need to be aware of. We take it so personally when somebody tells us no that we're like, oh, my gosh, I'm so rejected. I'm going to go crawl under my covers and pull it over my head and go to bed and I'm never going to come back. I call this business narcolepsy. You get those folks that come in your business, they're all gung ho, and then they get that first level of rejection or resistance, and then they go to sleep and you never hear from them again.
So if you want to avoid that, start asking this question. Everybody knows everybody's favorite radio station. This is a marketing ploy, or it's a marketing. What do they call these? Anagrams or what do they call the. I forget the names of them whenever. It's just the initials. But this is every prospect's favorite radio station, wiifm. And it's the call letters for what's in it for me? Your prospect's constantly asking what's in it for me? About your offer. And when you can focus on that, you remove that self pressure. You eliminate the fact that you're not thinking about yourself anymore because you're irrelevant in this equation. It's about your prospects. Get over yourself. It's not about you. It's about your prospects. It's not about you making sales. It's not about you winning the affiliate program. It's about really genuinely becoming interested in your prospects, wants, needs, and desires. And when you can focus on that and then concentrate your offer to match that, you will make more money than you could possibly make in your lifetime than you could spend. And here's the other side of that. You won't get rejection because it's not about you anymore. Rejection is about focusing on ourselves, selling and Helping people improve the quality of their life is about focusing on their needs. You understand that shift? So Vince and guys, help me out here because I can't see anybody. Are you guys getting.
All right?
I'm taking notes.
All right.
One thing that I will say that I really think that people. I want for me is important for people to understand is the. That people aren't saying no to you.
Yeah.
And I don't want to take too much time, but it's one of those things where it's like. Because we are just used to everything being yes. And I think we equate yes to just like picking up the phone and dialing a number and having it work, turning on the computer and having it work. These are just all yeses. Everything is easy. Everything's a yes. So when you say when someone says no, it's like, oh my gosh, you said no. And unlike sports, you can bat like 100 and have a million dollar business even under 100. It's not like you don't have to bat 300 to be a good player. You could fail nine out of 10 times and have an amazing business. Anyways, I'm going to be quiet. That's all.
And it goes back to. You brought up another point that's really critical to this whole process is that you guys need to understand that this is a, a no based industry. Rejection happens. And you think back to why is no such a negative thing? Why does that drum up? Say it with me, guys. This is going to feel like a silly exercise, but I really want you guys to go through this. Say no. Say no right now. Say it out loud. Say no. No. Think about no. Right? Think about when you're told that. You're told that by, I mean most back to our childhood, told by our parents. And I don't know what kind of household you guys were raising, but when my parents told me no, it usually came with a little I told you not to do that.
We learned that that is a bad thing. And then we go to school and we want perfect grades, right? We want A's. Some of us strive for that. I did when I was in school. I didn't care until later on. But bottom line was that that's another way of telling us no. That's not correct. You've got to be perfect. So as we go through our life, we're conditioned on our first date. You start to reach for a kiss no again.
So we get these negative connotations that are attached to no. And we're just sorry Guys, I had to take it there.
We associate so much negativity with the word no that we want to, we've learned that it's a bad thing. Well, in business it's just the opposite. No is great when you can learn from it. Because it's not just no, it's why not.
When you can start to ask the most important word in the English language, which is why? Why did they do it? Why didn't they do it? It doesn't matter just why. When you get the understanding of that and you seek that, you won't always find an answer. But when you make that the purpose of what you're doing, then what happens is you ultimately start to ask the right questions. Why didn't that work? How could I have made that better? What would have gotten their attention more? Why didn't this sell? Or why did this sell? And then if something takes off, why did it take off? What was the elements that made that a success? And then you can look to replicate that. So I want to change your guys thought process about selling. It's not about selling. You know, you heard an old adage about telling is selling. It's not asking is selling. Right. So I'll talk about. Let's see how much time we have here. I think I've just got to teach you guys how to make more money right now. And just know that I have a very Socratic approach to sales.
Hey, Greg, don't worry about time. Just do your thing because I'm next and I want to know this is important so we can go. You got time, man.
Okay. All right, so let me if you guys are ready. All right, so I got to take a deep breath. We've been 30 minutes kind of going over principles and foundations and stuff. All right, so now we're going to go into three simple selling systems you guys can use right now to generate extra cash. And if you do this correctly and if you have even kind of a simple list right now, you can start generating anywhere between five to $10,000 extra a month, depending on the products and services you're selling. When I share this with certain marketers who don't have anything at all, they have lists, but they don't have any kind of phone processes at all. 20, 30, $50,000 at a chunk is not really uncommon. Okay, wait a minute, wait, go ahead.
So you just said these things can help you if you have a small list, generate how much more extra?
Between 5 to $10,000 on a monthly basis.
Okay, now what I would say we have well over a couple hundred people viewing. And if I were you guys, this is what I would do. I would have my link and I would post. I say, Greg Gomez is about to share a strategy and a tip on how even with a small list, you can boost your income from 500 to what?
5,000. Five to $10,000 a month.
Five to $10,000. And I would have my link. That's just what I would do because this is an important lesson. I'm going to be taking notes, but this is like one of the ways that you can. That I do in terms of generating buzz. So right now I think we should just take over Facebook and everyone should list and they should probably tag Greg if possible or whatever and say, greg Gomez at this event is about to share this strategy that will teach you with a small list how to generate 5 to $10,000 extra income. Go here and you can get people right now to come in. This is a good way for you to create leverage. This is the whole idea of these events, guys.
And then hashtag awesomesauce.
Exactly. Awesomesauce. So you can even put it right in the comment box. And I don't mind, put the link there. Grab your and drive them to the homepage. Link your affiliate link to the homepage and they can get in. Right now we're going to be going all day. Say, hey, we're going all day. This is just the beginning. But you can be doing this all day. You can be doing this all day. This is a great recruiting tool for you.
Absolutely. Cool. All right, so three simple selling processes that I use to get this done. Are we ready, guys? We built up enough anticipation for this, right?
Come on.
Great. Get to it already. I've got places to be. So the most obvious one is we're going to talk about opt in forms, we're going to talk about webinar phone captures, and we're going to do rant call requests. This one's an older one I used to do that works so stupidly well. And of course, what did I do? I stopped doing it because of the new tech stuff, but we're moving back to it and we're using some. I'm not going to even mention because we're on a place that most marketers can't be right now. And I was going to tell everybody about it, but we're still testing some stuff before it's ready to go. And Vince told me, don't tell anybody until it's ready to go. I'm like, all right, but this model works so well on that that we are doing half a million dollars in less than three months as a result of it. So I'll share with you guys here. So that's a good way to keep you guys here to the end, right? Just kind of tease it. See, I'm being transparent in my selling. So opt in form the most obvious mundane expected one. Right?
Let's just go into it. Email only versus phone number. So I know a lot of marketing processes. I know Matt does this. I know Dagan teaches is this. I think you do this as well, Vince, where we do like solo ads or any kind of marketing we do. What are we taught? You only run email only because it increases our opt ins gets more eyeballs on our offers. I challenge that. I've been running some tests on that recently.
And I would encourage that you guys want to split test some of your stuff especially for paid traffic like pay per click. If you're doing pay per click right now, split test email only versus.
Name email and phone number. Okay. And here's why. If you do email only, the advantages to doing that is obviously get a higher opt in rate. You can see 50, 60, 70%. I hear some people do. I don't know, I must be doing those wrong because I don't get better than 50%. Maybe 60% on opt ins. I've never seen 70 or 80% opt ins unless it's already a warmed up list. But not to cold traffic. But you do get higher opt in rates. You build your list faster. So that's an ego thing. It's easier to get leads. So it gives you a big strong ego boost. And that's important in the beginning stages of your business because you want to see results. It makes you feel good on paper to say I've got this massive list. But the downside to that is look at your bank account. It really matters.
Not how big your list is, it's how much money that list is putting into your bank account. Do you understand that? And with email deliverability rates as low as they are, or open rates, I should say as low as they are right now, it used to be just build a list and don't care. That's not as true as it used to be. That's the reason why global apps network and the texting process works so well. So bear that in mind. What do you need for a cell phone from a cell phone to get people.
To continue to message them, you need them to download your app, but initially you need their cell phone number. Right? So think about that, some of the disadvantages to email only is looky lose. You get a lot of people to give that raise of hands, physically raise your hands. How many people here have that junk email address that you never check? Right?
Never.
Right?
Never.
What do we do on those email opt ins that look all funky and we say okay, I'll just throw in that bad email address and go see what's on the other side. Think of that psychology. Think of what that person's doing.
I made a suggestion. You guys want a subject line that I believe converts pretty well. I know one of my colleagues is testing it, but I haven't tested it yet. Put the subject line, hey, am I in your junk box? Am I in your junk email question mark and then have the content be if this is in your junk email box, here's a link to put this in your good email, your legit email so that you're getting this on a regular basis. If it's not in your junk email box, why haven't you taken a look at blah or whatever? I really want to connect with you and then move them to a more higher connectivity like Facebook or something like that. Okay, so looky loos, no alternative way to contact them about your offer if it's a junk email or if it's a misspelled email and you have no other way to reach out to them. It's not a lead, it's just information that may or may not work for you. Big list equals less responsiveness. I actually should change this so it's an aged list, equals less responsiveness. I have a list that's sizable. And the other day when we were on our webinar or a couple weeks ago, I should say with Vince, I literally went into my aweber account. I said I've got 4% open rates, I've got 3% open rates. Okay, I have tens of thousands of leads and I'm only getting a few hundred people to open my emails. That's awful. That's bad. Several reasons go into it, but it's still not as good as it used to be. So we are now moving back to using phone numbers and here's the reasons why. So advantages is it's a much higher quality lead. Now I want to make sure that you guys understand that yes, we'll talk about a much lower opt in rate, about 50% lower. But the bottom line is you get much more responsive to emails in the first 30 days. I find that my open rates over the first seven to 30 days, if they're really good subject lines get higher open rates than just email only.
These folks tend to buy more often.
These folks tend to buy more often. So you're dealing with fewer leads but they have a tendency to buy at a higher rate. One of our offers right now on email only and I can't show you stats because then I have to go into stuff that I don't know how to get back here. But our email only stuff is converting roughly around 8% and opt in 7 to 8% in conversion with phone numbers it's nearly 20%.
Now here's the kicker, they upgrade to my next one time offer at a much higher ratio of about 30% where on my email only they're converting at roughly around 15 to 18% and taking that one time offer. And that's where our money actually comes from is those additional upsells. So not only do they tend to buy more often, but they tend to buy more of our upgrades. Food for thought. Oh, disclaimer here. Sorry I forgot to give this in the beginning. Don't drink my Kool aid. All right, all of this is a ball faced lie until you've tested it and prove it for yourself.
I don't care what guru tells you, this is the best way. This is why you got to do it. Is this an adult only show? Are there kids in the room? You might want to cover their ears. It's complete bs. I'll be pg. Alright, it's complete bs. Test it, test it, test it until it works for you, it doesn't work period. But you got to do it. Now if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean that doesn't work, it just means you haven't tested it so that it works. So test until you find something that works and exhaust every way to make it work. Because if it's working for somebody else, it can work for you too. Alright, Much higher earnings per lead. Buy more, buy more often. We talked about that already. It's a shorter sell cycle. It doesn't take as long to get that person to buy for several different reasons. Now these are all just the Internet advantages. I haven't even talked about actually picking up the phone and talking to folks which we'll go into here in a minute. The disadvantage is much lower lead conversion rate, higher cost per lead. So what you were getting for two bucks might cost you five or six bucks slower to get an opt in to test an offer. So now what I recommend is if you're testing an offer, go email only first. See what the Opt in rates are just to see what your baseline is and then start throwing phone numbers in there. If it's not converting very well, try to capture a few phone numbers and then pick up the phone and call them to figure out hey, what's going on? You opted into this thing, I'll give you guys a script here in a little bit but you basically ask them what's going on, what were you looking for, what didn't you like, what did you like? And then you use that feedback to adjust your messages and that will typically double, sometimes triple conversions on your opt ins and your overall form. So what I recommend is as I said, start with email only, get a sense of opt in rates, offer conversion, etc, etc etc. Once you have the general offer in place, move to phone numbers to start engaging folks in surveys and research. Here's really the perspective here at this first stage for opt inside. This is about improving your sales message. This is all market research. Don't focus on trying to sell, focus on trying to learn what your market wants. Remember what I said back in the beginning, if you do this thing, if you do this, I can guarantee in blood that you will make way more money either by abandoning the offer to move to something more specific to the group's needs or B actually more realistically converting higher percentages on your front end offers. When I show you this last strategy here, that made me over half a million dollars in like 90 days. I literally took my feedback from my group and they wrote my copy. I didn't even write my copy. They wrote my bullet points, they wrote all my subject matter, they wrote my product basically and I generated a ton more money because of it. So there you go, funnels for opt ins. So you get an opt in, you do a prospecting call and again that's all about research and development. And then eventually you go into a presentation call or a webinar. You manually invite them to a webinar. Gasp. No really. Yes you do. Here's a secret why I always place in the top tens of affiliate launches with a small group of people interested. I sub categorize my list, I develop a good interested list. I have a team member call them and invite them to a webinar that's happening that night. By doing that we typically will add anywhere between 30 to 50% more people to a webinar than would go had it just been email notifications only. Does that make sense? Little nugget dropped on you there. So they go to a presentation call or webinar, then they call you back, have them call you back.
You do Objection. Obliteration. Which I'm going to be talking about at no excuses.
And then you close. So let me recap. That was fast, right? This is the process. So I have them opt in with a phone number and you can even have a simple thank you page. You can do a sales letter video and that kind of stuff, which it's like kind of almost counterintuitive or it's like blasphemy if you don't have a sales letter video. But just if you have that ring, then know that it'll go sales letter video up, sales, blah, blah, blah, blah. Wherever they end, you immediately follow up with a prospecting call within the next 24 hours. So important, because they're going to forget you. Anything less than that, even when you say, hey, you bought my stuff yesterday. Who are you? You're going to get that. Because people are so time torn, they have no time at all, basically. So you follow up with them. Hey, Vince, this is Greg Gomez. I was calling you. You've gone online. You were looking for a way to do blah, blah, blah, or you just joined my program. It's funny because if you're the person postured and positioned on the website, like if it's your product or you're the face or you're the voice, they're almost like many celebrities. Oh, wow. This is the Jen Behringer. Wow. That's awesome. That's so cool. Oh, my gosh. This is the Martin Ware. Wow. I can't believe I'm actually talking to you. It's cool. And then you say, okay, you talk to them for a bit and you do prospecting. This is about uncovering their wants, needs and desires. We'll talk about how to do that in a minute. And then you drive them to a presentation called Webinar. So, hey, I'm doing this webinar tonight. Check it out. Or we're doing a webinar on Thursday. Make sure you're there, you're able to attend. Awesome. Here's the information. Actually, I don't give them the information for the webinar. If it's a couple of days away. I tell them I'm going to follow up with you 15 minutes before the start of the webinar. Or I'll ask them to be part of an email list now. So they'll get the notifications prior to the event. And then I'll have a team member follow up with them 15, 20 minutes beforehand. And we'll have like 50 people and I'll have three people doing this. And if it's just you get 10 people on a webinar. Guys, you don't need a lot of people on a webinar to make big money. You can get 10 people on a webinar and with this process, you can close three of them into whatever it is you're doing. Ooh, three people. Big deal, Greg. Yeah. Do that every week and then start to have them do it and then see how rapidly you grow your organization. My first business that I jumped from in six months to adding over 250 people a week followed this model. It's so old school. Yeah, I made a lot more money than a lot of the guys teaching shit right now. Sorry. So I digress. And you can too. I am America. And you can too. They call you back after the presentation. They have questions. This is so important. Answer their questions. Figure out what it is they liked, what they didn't like, what their obstacles, what their concerns are. Answer them, address them. At first it'll be sloppy, but you'll learn to get better at it. Just like kissing, right? And then you get them involved. Hey, time to take. Can I answer any. Jen, here's your clothes. This is how you do it. So what questions can I answer for you? Here's my clothes, guys, Word for word, verbatim, write this down. This is exactly how I close folks. So you had an opportunity to listen to this. Awesome. I'm sure you got, how did you like it? And they say, well, I like this. I like that notice a lot of folks would say, what did you like best about it? That's cheesy old school crap. Don't do that. Give them an opportunity to tell you what they liked or what they didn't like. If you don't get out their concerns and you're not dealing with their concerns, I don't care why they liked it, to be honest with you. That's nice in the beginning phase. Makes me feel good. That, oh yeah, I'm so awesome. What didn't you like?
When I know that I can close. When I don't know that I'm lying to myself. Alright, so you had an opportunity to listen to this thing or see this thing. Awesome. How did you enjoy.
Was okay. Okay. Just okay? Wow. Must have been awful. No, it wasn't that bad. It's just that blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and they'll tell you. Okay. Or what if they say I was awesome? Good, man, I'm glad you liked it. It's a phenomenal program. But I'm sure you got tons of questions. What can I answer for you first?
Say it again. I'm sure you got tons of questions. You talk a bit about it. Yeah, it's really helped me. I was part of Global Apps network. I was having such low contact rates with my group, man, I couldn't get anybody to open my emails. I got started on that building my apps list and we see a 90% increase in contact and deliverability. It's phenomenal. We've never seen anything like this. But that's enough about me. I'm sure you have tons of questions. What can I answer for you first? You see what I just did there? I positioned Global at gan. I always forget the call letters for everything. I positioned gan. I gave a brief testimonial. I didn't sit there and talk about my dog or my life story. They don't care. They just want to know that I got a result that works. And then I went right into the most important thing. But I'm sure you have tons of questions. What can I answer for you? First they ask questions. They're interested. They don't. They may not be. And then you got to kind of dialogue with them a bit. And then here's the, you know, Jen, you do this. Well, here's how you close it up. So what questions can I answer for you first? They ask a question, you answer it for them. They say, great. Does that make sense? Yes. And then you say, okay, great. What's the next question? What else can I answer for you? They ask another question, you answer that one for you. They said, you see how that works now? Yes, it does. Awesome. Any other questions I can answer for you right now or what else? And they say one more question. Three questions is about your goal. Then get one or two questions by the third question when you're answering that question for them and say, great. Does that make sense now? Yeah.
Cool.
Anything else I can answer for you about that? No. You know, how do I get started? Is not uncommon.
If they don't say that, then you say very simply, great. How did you want to get started today? How did you want your name to appear on your paperwork? Was it first and last name or do you have a middle initial that you want to use on that? If you don't feel that bold, that's my favorite clothes. If you don't feel that bold, you can tell folks. Okay, great. And so how, you know, does this sound like this is going to help you out in your business? Yes, it is. Great. You ready to get started? Yes. Awesome. How do you want to get this done? Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover? I pull a credit card every single time. All right, that's enough of that. Does that make sense? Does that help? Is that beneficial?
Absolutely.
Very, definitely.
Okay, cool. So that is the opt in process. Guys, let me let you in on a little secret. You know how many people are calling their leads right now?
Not very many.
Zero to none. Very, very few people actually call their leads. As much of a phone guy as I am, I don't call my leads as often as I want to. I can't. I don't have time because my activities are bigger producers doing other things. But my sales associates can do it for me or my team members can do it for me. But when I'm first getting started, when I first got started, I crushed everybody in our space because I was willing to get on the phone and I was good at it. How did I get good at it? I was willing to get on the phone. That's where it came from. So there you go.
I don't know if people have questions about it, Vince. I don't even know where we can answer it, but if they have questions, I'm happy to take those about that process. If they have something confusing, if you.
Have any questions, just post them in the comments box. In fact, Jan, why don't you post something? If you have questions about anything Greg is saying, post the question here. And then you guys will be able to see that underneath where you're watching it now from inside, and we'll get to them at the end, make sure we get to all the questions.
Okay, great. So now I'm going to move on. This strategy right here is for all you folks that already have a list but have built a pretty sizable list without phone numbers. This is not a sneaky way of doing it, but it's a lot more tier 2 level way of doing it. What I Mean by Tier 2 is if you don't want to capture like, I've split tests and I find that I generate more money with email only, not phone numbers. Okay, then I don't want you to stop that. You do what makes you most money up front. This second stage builds on top of that first stage. And this is why it's a tier two. It's a second tier. This is the next level, baby. This is how we do it. It's like Michael Bay Transformer stuff. All right, so what you do is you host a webinar. Pretty straightforward. We've all Done that before, right? Here's the difference. Request the phone number. Make it mandatory.
I'm going to show you guys. I don't know if I actually can show you guys one. I can, I can. Let me, Let me. Give me a second here, guys. Infinity and beyond.
All right, so.
Ah, shoot. Let's see if I could do this real quick.
Go to.
Let's see if this is it.
I see a bunch of tags on my names. Awesome.
All right.
Go ahead. Take your time.
Look for it.
We'll a couple things. We can fill the space.
Okay, go ahead. Let me go into my gotowebinar.
So, guys, let's see. Jen, you were able to do that comment?
Yeah, I have. It's in. So under the video that you guys are watching, I just posted a comment. If you had questions for Greg to reply in that comment, and I'm on that other screen monitoring it right now.
Okay, so you posted it obviously on the live broadcast page, right? Yep, inside Global App Center.
Okay, cool. Right underneath the video that's playing right now.
Okay, cool. Also, so everyone knows if you won't actually see it, it goes to the bottom. So I think you got to scroll all the way to the bottom, I think. Or does it go to the top?
No, it should be at the top.
Is it at the top?
See, there's so many of them. So many. Yeah. Let's see.
And what did you actually. What'd you say on that?
Says if you guys have any questions for Greg, post them in this thread.
Okay, let me refresh. Maybe I need to refresh. I see it. Did you see it at the top?
It's actually like in the middle.
Oh, it's on the top of mine. That's weird. Maybe it's because I posted.
Oh, okay.
Because it goes to where you last posted.
All right. When you're ready, I'm where I need to be.
Okay, cool. All right. But yeah, definitely look through that. If you're watching live, look through it and if you have any questions, go there. All right, cool.
All right, so as you guys can see, I'm in my GoToWebinar account right now. And basically, as I was saying, make the phone number field. You just check that. Make required, and then you add a new question. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Here's the question that I ask. And I make it required. I'm going to edit it so you guys can see what's your biggest frustration you have with.
Online lead generation. I make that required and I update it and I make sure that that's there. Another trick is I have a monthly continuity program that I have folks into and I have it redirect automatically. So make an offer after they into your event. That always helps.
Wait, don't go back to that one. You're trying to zoom by. You know what? I've been meaning to do that and you just made me realize, remind me that. Talk about that. Can you just tell the psychology of that? Sure.
I just signed up for something free and I watched something that's positioned me. You got to think of the psychology of your prospect. They see something for free. And again, let me tell real quick, philosophy my attitude towards businesses. If I wow you with free stuff, then the question I want to supplant in people's minds is I want them to think crap. If this is this free stuff, what's this paid stuff? Like.
What I do is I kind of ride that out and give really awesome content, do my best to give awesome content on my free stuff so that when they do come through and they register, it's like, wow, that's a question I've always wanted to have answered. And I give a little bit of content prior to them registering for the event. Now I don't record my webinars, my free ones that I give out. What I do is I say in my preliminary opt in video on the front end before they register for the webinar, I say, oh, and by the way, at the end of your registration, wait 10 seconds and it will redirect you to a new page. I have something really special there I want you to see. That's all I say. And then they go and register for the webinar. They ask their question. See now this question does something psychologically too in that it's asking what's their frustration? What's going on with them? And they vent a little bit.
They're opening up so it's starting to lower resistance. Then when they get that 10 second spot and it goes to the next video after the registration page, they see this offer. Hey, thanks for registering for the webinar. We're going to share a lot of really awesome content with you. But here's one of the downsides to my free stuff. Because we get so many folks on these, I can't record them for everybody because. Because it kind of crashes our servers. So here's what I'm going to do for you is that I have a paid monthly membership group. It's $37 a month. You get recordings of everything we do. Plus here's everything else that we have and I just make a simple offer. It doesn't have to be rocket science, but low dollar something just to get them started. And then I give them the buy now button and I make an offer. And if you get started now, you can get registered for like 17 bucks today. And then every month you'll be billed $37 a month. And you have to test your sponsor pricings. For me, $37 a month works better than just about anything else. And that works. Does that answer your question?
Yeah, I think that's awesome. I mean that goes into my. I always try to get three things that I will make sure that I do from every person I hear like that week and that's definitely one of them.
Cool. Awesome. Let me see if I got my email invitation here so I can show you guys what the page looks like real.
And doesn't look like it came through. Maybe I didn't save and email me the invitation.
So while you're looking for that, you guys, if you are in the live page of the Global Apps Network, if you click up on the top under where it says 48 comments or however many comments, you can rank it by chronological or reverse chronological. Try reverse chronological. And that should give you an opportunity to see the thread that I posted. And the thread is if you guys have questions for Greg, post them in this thread. There's a couple of you that have found it, but there aren't any questions at this point. So I'm just wanting to make sure you guys can find the post that I made.
They don't want to know about sales. Get onto the importance. Let's see the Internet stuff. So here's an Internet strategy for you. Your top questions answered about building a successful business in the next 90 days is kind of the template for our thing. This week's topic, $0.01 traffic, 90% delivery, open rates and Google wants you back. It should be a question mark. Our biggest announcement this year and this was for our Global Apps Network deal. So we have name, last name, email, phone number is mandatory. They see that asterisk, they know they got to put it in and they do. And what's your biggest frustration you have with online lead generation? And once they fill that in, they're answering a question. So here's why this is important. I got this introduced to me by a guy by the name of Alex Mendozian. He's a phenomenal marketer, old school. He's been around for years. You guys don't know who he is.
He's awesome.
We call these Ask campaigns. Don't guess what your market wants. Let them tell you. Ask them what they want. So what's your biggest frustration with this? And they will tell you. I'm good, brother. What's up?
So, that being said, let's go back on to the rest of the strategy. So, webinar phone capture, request phone number.
You track attendance. This is where you get your. I don't want any rejection. Okay? This is going to be your lowest hanging fruit. You track attendance. GoToWebinar prints out a report for you. And whatever webinar interface you're using should track out a report and how long those people were on the phone or how long they listened to you. And you're really looking for making a marker that when you're doing your webinar presentation, make a note as to when you went into the offer portion of your offer.
He didn't mute himself.
Let's let him finish.
That's funny.
Brother. Are you Vince?
Sorry, I'm back. I missed that. I missed the huge part. I wanted to see that. No, it's all right.
I waited for you because we could hear you making your call.
All right, sorry.
So again, just to recap, just in case somebody did hear, so, webinar phone capture. You request their phone number, track attendance. And here's the thing. When you're doing your webinar note, when you do your offer, at what time that is. So if it's like 10 minutes, 57 minutes in your presentation, make a note of when that is, look at the attendance and track how long they were there. So if they were there after 57 minutes, then they heard the offer. It's a good chance they heard the offer, I should say. Then you follow up with those people who heard the offer.
You soft close them. And I'm going to give you an example of that right now.
So.
Hey, Vince, this is Greg Gomez with XYZ Company. How are you?
I'm awesome.
How are you? Good. Good, man. Hey, I just wanted to follow up with you about the webinar we hosted last night or last week or whenever it is. Did you get a chance to attend that? Now, hold on. Before you answer. I know the answer to this question, but I'm asking it anyways. Why? Because it's going to get me a yes. And we call this yes momentum. I'm going to talk more about that. I think I'll have to talk about that in excuses, but you just want a lot of yeses. Just note that. So, hey, I just followed up with you. You attended Our webinar last night. Or actually, I hosted a webinar last night. I know you registered. Did you get a chance to attend that?
I actually did. It was awesome.
Good, good. Great, man. How did you like it? What did you think?
Well, outside of the fact that you're stunningly handsome.
And I'm happily married, it.
Was a great weather, though my door don't swing that way, but boy, oh boy. Awesome.
What's that?
People already think we're weird, that we're always roomies on trips. I'm going to start some crazy stuff happening here.
I constantly always have to watch. My comments online are always like that pseudo questionable, like, where's the line drawn kind of thing. And I think about myself. I'm like, okay, I've been married like 14 years. I really got to let people know that I'm. I'm in love with my wife. All right, so awesome. Did you get a chance? Cool, man. That's great. So did you get a chance to take advantage of the offer that we made at the end?
I didn't. I didn't yet.
Oh, no. What happened? Okay, stop. That's it. And that's all you have to say. They're going to tell you, they're going to start justifying and whatever their issue is, you do what I call the set aside. And I'm going to cover this at no excuses quite a bit. Or maybe in a future training here for your group as well. But bottom line is that you set it aside. Okay, Put that aside for a minute. Let's assume it was the money. Set the money aside. If that wasn't an issue, would there be anything else that would have stopped you on the program? Did you like that? And they say, well, yeah, no, absolutely. I loved it, man. If it weren't the money thing, I totally would have gotten in. Okay, so let me make sure I'm clear. If we fix the money thing, would you have taken it? Well, yeah. So if I fix the money thing for you right now without getting lights shut off or taking food off the table or anything like that, is this something that you want and you can tell me. No, it's okay. But I want to make sure that you're aware you exhausted all your options. Because if it's just a money thing, I don't want that to be something that stops you from getting started today. Does that make sense? Yeah. Yeah. So if we fix the money thing, would you take it?
Absolutely.
Yeah. Yeah, I would. Okay, great. Well, let's fix the money thing. How do you Fix the money thing. Credit cards. You have credit cards now, right? Absolutely, yeah, I do. Okay, great. Put it on a card. That way it's not upsetting your monthly budget. You can finance it out as long as you'd like. More importantly, I'm going to show you some things right away that you can do to help start generating some revenue sooner rather than later. And as soon as you start generating some revenue, you just use the revenue from this product, service, opportunity, improvement in your business, whatever it is, or the money you save because your weight loss or whatever the product is that you're doing, or in global apps network, the revenue you can generate by having a higher impact on your connecting with your audience, you see how that's going to make you more money in your business. Is that right, Vince?
Absolutely.
And honestly, do you see that by having this communication method that you're going to be able to communicate more frequently and with higher open rates? Do you understand that?
I absolutely do. I think that people need to understand how important that is to one.
I think what it does, Greg, is it makes you become a lot more real.
Yeah.
You know what I mean? Because a lot of the sales tactics that I see people doing is they don't ever want to actually face that possibility. Possibility of someone saying, well, you know, I didn't get stuck. They don't want to face that quote unquote rejection. But the actual rejection is probably what you need to make the close.
Yeah.
Here it is, guys. If you have children, I want you to think and frame it this way. If you have kids, do you want your kids to lie to you or do you want them to tell you the truth?
Tell you the truth.
You want your kids to tell you the truth. And if you don't have kids, trust me, you want your kids to tell you the truth. But you got to understand that people are only kids, especially they're only honest with people that they feel comfortable being honest with. So if you give your children permission to tell you the truth and they know there's no repercussions from that, from being honest, then what happens? How does that change them? Doesn't that free them up to tell you the truth?
Absolutely.
Your prospect's no different. They want to be honest with you, but they're so used to everybody trying to pressure them into doing something that may not be interested or to their best benefit. So when you focus on, when you say, dude, it's totally cool, Martin, man, you can tell me. No, it's all right, brother. I'm not trying to Twist your arm into getting you to take this thing. It's not mandatory to do it, but when I saw you, we started talking. Originally you said that this was a challenge, that you wanted to make more money and have bigger lists and contact with that list more often because your open rates right now aren't very good. I mean, and that's what this is designed to do. Do you see that this can help that or do you not see that because it's okay? You see how I just framed it for him to be okay to tell me the truth? Here's what's going to happen. People are going to say and they're going to sigh. And when people sigh, whatever comes out of their mouth next is truth.
They're literally saying, okay, here's the truth. And they might get a little angry. They might. You know what, man? I'm going to tell you the truth. Cool. Please. Okay, let me say this. You just closed this person. Whether they buy or not, that's not relevant. What your real close is for is to get them to be honest with you. I call this truth seeking. True salesmanship is about seeking your prospect's truth. When you learn to do that, the entire financial world opens up and you can make as much money as you want. And the best part is you feel great about doing it. You are serving people, you're not selling people. And that's a big difference.
Get to the side. Get them to tell you their truth. And it could be, you know, man, I get offers like this all the time. There's app networks all over the place, blah, blah, blah, blah. And they'll tell you whatever it is. Let them vent and address their real issue. That's when you can close. That's when you make money. Alright, I digress. Does that help you guys get that?
Absolutely, man. Awesome stuff, awesome stuff. We definitely have to have you back here soon to get into more depth because I think that.
We talked about this. Just this element of business is lost. The element of communication and sales and phone sales and digging into getting the answers that you need, good or bad, is huge.
I want to get into some of the things I took from this, but I wanted to make sure you're good from where you are. I know you may have some more stuff you want to cover.
I have one more thing I need to cover, but I don't know how much time we have. Let me just breeze through it. Sorry guys, I want to do more.
Don't rush through it, man. Go ahead. Because like I said, for me, I was going to talk about a bit. Little bit of things that I'll come back. We'll have time later. I want to know. To me it's cool for me because.
I think that you'll see when I get to some of the points, I think when people can take away from this, I think it's really important. So go ahead.
Okay. All right, real quickly I'm going to show you guys a website. One more. This is an old site. This is not a site I originally designed or that I run traffic to anymore. Actually, you know what I should sell you. You guys want to see the ugliest?
Hold on.
Not the site that Google should. The one that you showed me the other day.
Yeah, the other one.
I'll just show you the ugly. This is like the world's ugliest opt in page.
But you know what's funny about that page? That page is actually awesome for its time.
Yeah.
So look at this.
So this was one of my first ad pages that I ran back in 2000. I think this one was in 2004. I had an uglier page before this. But this was like my crowning piece of achievement. You can see invisible text here to format stuff and to keep things centered. It was awful. It was a bad page. But this page converted at like 25% for opt in rates. And you'll know it's old because there's no aweber form. It's an actual hard coded opt in capture form. And you see 2003 back then. But the reason I'm showing this to you guys now is because I had this funnel where they opted in phone number and email. It doesn't have opt in up here at the top. I tested that that converted less than this. But then it led to. Eventually I fancied it up and this was the original page that happened. So opt in page then to a couple of different pages. But then I got them to this page and here was the context of it. And I'm going to read a little of the copy and I'm going to explain the process to you. So I have an extra special one time bonus bolded down below. Below you'll see yet another blank form for you to fill out. This one's not mandatory however, I could really use your help. Here's the deal. I'm stuck in the middle of a big project. I'm on a zealot like mission to provide every networker on the planet a step by step manual for recruiting big numbers successfully into any home based endeavor in less than 30 days. No big challenge, right? I'm not going to read all this copy because it takes forever, but I go through one of my biggest pet peeves in the industry that I absolutely hate and then I say okay, so.
What do I do? Man, this is long. Look at this. And people read this and it's good copy. Why am I asking these questions and why do I need your help? As I said, I'm on a zealot like mission to get the most focused, results driven material into a format that is going to be as impactful as possible. I meant it when I said I want you to provide every network, I want to provide every networker on the planet a step by step manual for recruiting big numbers, blah blah blah blah. So then I give them an opportunity to come down here and fill out another form and I just say what's your pet peeve? What drives you up the friggin wall? This is just one of my things, but I'm sure you've got several. What is it? Put your fill this form out and let me know. Here's why this is such an important psychological piece they gave me.
Thank you. Your deepest desires, goals and frustrations in building your six figure a year network marketing business. Name, phone number, email. They give it to me willingly. All of these are mandatory. And then they go in here and give me paragraphs of their most emotional responses to the challenges they're facing. Venture a guess why would that be valuable to have?
Think about it. They are literally going to tell you what pushes their buttons and gets them so worked up emotionally. When you can take that and understand what drives your marketplace. Dan Kennedy calls this. If you can learn what keeps your prospect up in the middle of the night, you can write copy that will specifically solve their issues and as a result serve them. But as a byproduct of that, you make tons of money. Right? This was absolutely one of the crowning jewels of my marketing process and I don't use it anymore. So we're going to go back to using it again. So you guys should implement before I do and go start implementing this now. Going back to giving you the bare bones of why this works. So what's the process? A simple email opt in. You can do an email opt in. Do my rant offer. And what I did is I gave them an extra bonus training. Hey, I'm going to. If you do this for me, I incentivize them. And then they gave me some feedback and then we gave them some stuff. Bonus training valued at X dollars and this Time asked for phone numbers versus the first time that you didn't. In doing this, what ultimately winds up happening is getting the phone number is awesome. The real thing is you get the engagement from these folks and they tell you I've written all my bullet copies. My best selling MLM business blueprint that I've sold for the last four years, all of that ad copy still converts at darn near 20% to targeted traffic. And the advantage to it is that everything that's in there, I didn't, I didn't really write. It was written by this group of people and I formatted it and restructured it in such a way with good copywriting structures, headlines and all that other stuff. But I basically took and answered their biggest concerns and stuck a knife in the pain points and twisted it and used that to be able to get those folks to be able to join my business ethically, honestly and more importantly. Here's really the kicker, guys. I wrapped my deliverable around their frustration. So what were they concerned with? That's exactly what I sold. That's what I built, that's what I fixed. I didn't concentrate on anything else. I used this to get it done. I then used the phone. Now here's how the phone comes into this. When I prospected these folks and I actually got them on the phone, something psychological has happened. They have felt that they've shared with me their biggest challenges and they've opened up to me already my trust factor in these folks. I wrote more business from this 25% tile group of my opt ins than I did from all my other main lead bases combined.
So you want to earn trust of your prospect and if they can trust you enough to rant with you for a bit and they can bitch and moan. I know some people say don't listen to the bitching and moaning. I say you're missing gold if you don't let them vent. Why? Not because of the bitching and moaning, but because that shows sign that they trust you enough to let you in on their truth. And when you find their truth, you find big pockets of cash. So there you go, my friends. That's my presentation. I have a ton of other stuff that I could could waste time with here, but I know we got other people that need to speak.
That is awesome, dude. I appreciate it. And again, so, so much needed if you're going to grow businesses are the skills that you just talked about. My notes, some of the things that I took and I'd love for some of the each one that's here hanging out. We're gonna have people popping in now all day, by the way. Awesome.
But the thing that I took the most out of it was.
I thought it was cool is the. You know when someone says no, it's kind of like the question is, why not? But not the. Like, well, why not? But for you, like, why not? Why did they not want and learn from that? Does that make that right?
It does. There's a thing called the Colombo clothes. I don't know if you guys have ever heard of that.
Hey, what is that? What was that?
Somebody's dancing in the rain. Okay, so it's the Columbo clothes. And the way the Columbo clothes works. Have you ever seen that old show, Columbo? The way he would do it is he'd go in and ask a question, and they'd tell him, no, no, we're not going to help you. Okay? And then he would get up and start walking away, and he'd get to the door, and just as he puts his hand on the door, oh, one more thing. What was it about? Blah, blah, blah. And they were so excited that he was going to leave that they're like, oh, they just give it to him. And then he'd start. And that was the information he was really looking for. That's also the. No offense, but the Jewish market negotiation strategy. I've heard from a good colleague of mine who lived in New York who says that what you do is you go in there and you pick a product that you want to buy and you haggle over that tooth and nail, but you don't really want to buy it. And then as you're walking. Oh, no, no. You know what? No, no, I'm not going to tell you. What about that one over there? Almost like you don't care. But that's the real one you came in for, right? So it's this Columbo distraction deal. So back to you. The why not Insurance sales. The way they implemented this is they would say, okay, great. Thank you, Mr. Such and Such. They put all their stuff away, they start walking out. They get to the door, they're walking out. So just as I'm leaving, what was really the thing that stopped you from ordering today? It's okay, because their sales resistance has dropped. Now this person's leaving my house. Cool. I don't have the pressure of the salesperson now. Oh, it was just this thing. They cough it up because they're so excited to get you out of their house. That's what they want to do. You use that tactic to figure out what it is. You make it okay for them to say no, that they're not going to do it. And then you say, okay, great. Hey, you know what? Just for my own benefit, Vince, I know you're not doing this today, that's totally fine. But what was it really? What was really the issue? And they say, well, you know, it was really this. And they'll tell you the truth whether you try to go close that person again. You can, oh, we can fix that, blah, blah, blah, blah. Or you can just leave it, move on to the next thing. So there you go.
Awesome, man. Definitely, definitely important. I really like the one of the things that you do. I haven't. No one really talks about it, but obviously clearly you do. It is I'm really big on reports that I get from GoToMeeting and a lot of people. And we really focus on the people who don't attend versus the people that do attend.
Right.
So I'm gonna start focusing a little bit more on both. So basically, guys, when I do GoToMeetings, we get a list with GoToMeeting. This is why I like GoToMeeting and I've had them forever. In fact, I'm like at $99 a month and I can get 1,000 people on my webinars. That's how long I've been with GoToMeet. I think it's like 500 or $1,000 now if you want that. But anyways, you can pull the CSV file of all those attendees who came, see who didn't come, how long they were on the event, what questions did they ask. So on occasions I'll pull those files from each event to see who's consistently at them, see who didn't come. And also you get good email addresses. So what a lot of people don't know that you can do is you can actually import that list into your autoresponder. And now you can. What you did, we tested it. It didn't work the way I expected it. But you can email what you said to them, get the list of people who didn't attend or people that attended, import that list and do it via email. Hey, I saw you. And make it personal. Hey, you're on the webinar because it was just getting difficult to call all of them. So that's just another example if you are a person that you know too many people to call back. But that's awesome. The follow up call though. Yeah, was definitely the follow Call to initiate the webinar. Now, did you say that you would call people to personally invite them registered? So after they register, you call them up and say, hey, I'm looking forward to seeing you. I think that's a cool thing. If you have webinars and you have like 5 to 10 people or 25 people where it's manageable for you to call. I think that is important. Again, the ability for you to just connect with 2 out of 10 or 3 out of 10 people on every webinar. If you did this each and every week and then you get them to do it. That whole concept and you being able to call that person, I think it's huge. Hey, guys, I don't know what that is back there, but somebody's trying to paper.
Yeah.
So yeah. Oh, is that what it is? Okay. But I think that's huge. Understanding the realistic conversions is what I wrote down, like, realistically, like 10 people. You only need one or two every time. Do that every week. That's eight to 10 people every month. You teach your team to do it. You don't have to have these huge crazy numbers that people talk about. So things like that phone follow up is awesome. Also, I think something is huge if you're doing your own webinars that redirect afterwards to your affiliate link is huge too. So you can do your own webinars and it's almost like a double lead. So the person registers for the webinar and then afterward they're taken to your affiliate link or video or something that that connects them to you. So now you're capturing a lot of people who can't make it. And I think that's a problem that we see a lot with where normally you're going to get like 50% of people show up to the webinar, if you're lucky, who actually register. So I think all that was awesome stuff like the truth seeking to me is huge and getting over the objection. Most people, I would say, you can tell me if I'm wrong. It's the money issue. They're just afraid to spend the money. We want to hoard the money. It's a product. They don't know what's going to happen on the other side if they buy it, are they going to actually get the results? If you can focus on making.
If you make the products, think of it like this. You're investing whatever you buy. You're investing in yourself. It's not necessarily about how much money you make from it or who's Going to buy it. You're investing in yourself. For example, if you were going to go to Stanford or college, you wouldn't step back and say I'm going to spend $100,000 for this education. Like is it going to work for me? You just spend the money, right? And you say, okay, I'm believing that this is going to make me better. So if you one of the questions that I would ask, I'd say forget about if it works, forget about how much it costs. Do you believe that this will make you better? You know, and I think that that makes will allow not only you, if you're the one buying, to cope with your purchase, but the person that's looking to purchase understand that this is bigger than just the amount of money that they can have. Go ahead.
Well, I'm going to say something too. That money can be one of the things I talk about in Objection, handling. There's two core issues. The only two real reasons people aren't going to buy or three really when they're genuinely not interested, it's not going to benefit them. Number two is I don't have the money. I want it, but I don't have the money. Or I'm skeptical. I want it, but I'm just a little skeptical. I want that result, but I'm just not sure it's going to be good. So people will give you. People are professional non buyers. Now we get bombarded with so many different sales messages all the time we learn to ignore them. That's why we have ad blindness and that's how we can function on a daily basis or we die from all the advertising we get. So we escalated as buyers on how not to buy. So think about it. When you go into a store and they say, can I help you? What's your immediate knee jerk reaction? No, thank you, I'm just looking.
No thank you, I'm looking.
You could have fully gone in there to buy something. But most folks will say no thanks, I'm fine. Because they don't want that pressure of a salesperson. Bottom line to your point here is that they can say it's the money. That doesn't necessarily mean that it is the money. It could be skepticism, it could be lack of interest. It could be all kinds of different things, all kinds of different situations.
Awesome. I don't know if Jen popped out, but I wanted to see if we had some questions if she's around.
But what about you guys? I saw Brandon pop here where she said William Rapp, always the alias, I guess all of that. What's going on, brother?
Will, what's going on, man? How you doing? Are you there?
He's muted.
You're probably muted. You gotta hit the mute button.
Yeah, we can't hear you.
The top right.
Hey, Jen, while he's figuring that out, you could keep me posted on questions.
Yeah, yeah, there were. There was actually just two questions. I think you answered one of them, but I'm going to go ahead and repeat the question in case you want to add to it. But from Jason, he wanted to know what is your favorite objection obliteration technique for a prospect that says I don't have the money?
The best way I like to deal with the money is. Okay, set that aside. Let's assume for a minute the money wasn't an issue. Would there be anything else that's stopping you from taking advantage of this today? And the reason I do that is I like to isolate what the real concern is. And then they say, no, no, if it weren't for the money, I'd be totally in. Okay. And then I do it twice. I say, okay. So just so I'm clear, if we fix the money, then you're saying this is something you want to do today? Yeah. Okay, great. Well, let's figure out a way we can get this done without getting light shut off so you can get started today and then we start looking at what options they have. I'll go through a credit card. Close. I'll do. Drop close. I'll do. My philosophy is this. If you have somebody who's interested in what it is you have to offer, you should have something to sell them and money shouldn't be a factor. Whether that's financing or a lower tier package or if it's your own products. Don't discount your stuff because that makes it cheap. But you can take bonuses and other things away and offer a smaller bit of the process for a smaller fee and get them involved that way. So if they want to spend money with you, you should let them spend money with you. Call me cynical, but that's the way I believe.
Awesome, awesome. And then, Vince, there's a question in here for you in the sense, is Greg's mind map going to be available in the area, Member area? I know we're not recording this, but what about the notes or anything like that? Because they're really loving the notes and everything that Greg's done today. That's a lot of the comments.
I think Greg's selling the mind map for $59.95.
No, I don't know.
I can make that available for you guys. That's fine.
Yeah, there's about three people that asked that question, so they're going to be really happy. Let me refresh really quick. Let me see if there's any other questions. You guys, now's your last chance to answer a question for Greg.
Actually, Jen, can you show your screen and show them obviously the video they're looking at it through will be not playing because we're watching it through the actual, I guess the Google area. But can you show them, show your screen and show them the comments below and like how to sort what you just were talking about.
Sure.
On the left. On the left side, yeah. And then you just click desktop.
Yeah, I got it.
Yeah, there you go.
Oh, not like you're funny.
Okay, right here, you guys, you're here and you're Super Saturday special. Can you guys see all that?
Yes.
Okay, then right down underneath here. Now it shows up top here, 52 comments. But if you want you can sort it by reverse chronological and you should be able to find.
My post here. But these were the questions that were answered. So see the recap, the notes. Great, you're getting a lot of comments. Will it be available? You just answer that.
Okay. So Vince, so this is Frank, he's asking you, Greg, he says Vince is teaching using Craigslist tactics with double opt in. Is that a good use of using the rant box? If we word our Craigslist ad properly, sure.
Any place after your initial opt in again have them go through your normal funnel, whatever your normal funnel is. That rant group that I posted there was actually a fourth or fifth opt in from that initial opt in series. They had to go. So they had a regular opt in. They had a free report that they could read, no video. Then it was a call request at the bottom of that form and then it took them to a share function which was go and share this with your friends and I'll give you a bonus. We got 25% of the group to do that. And then out of those folks that landed on that page, it was literally like maybe 5% of our overall lead flow, 10% of our lead flow that was there and that's where I ran it. So my answer to you is don't mess with your overall lead converting funnels on their own. Add that rant group on the back end or in a follow up email. But I find that if you can get it in your front end funnel somehow it works best there. And that's where you're going to get some of your best feedback.
Yeah, absolutely. And then what you're referring to in terms of the Craigslist training what you would do, remember the reason there is a double opt in is because of the strategy that I taught you guys in that Craigslist masterclass training.
You have to have the double opt in which is actually better in this case because of what we're doing particularly on Craigslist. But what I will say is something that you can add to what I taught you on that Craigslist masterclass was when you tell them to email you to email you to send more information in the body tell them to make sure they put their phone number because they're basically emailing you. And the way we've set it up is our system communicates back to them so have them put their phone number in that follow up with obviously that.
Craigslist strategy would it be possible Vince to have a link there to that rant group website if they wanted to do that? What do you mean? Instead of asking for a reply with a phone number I would still suggest you do that. Whatever the shortest path to the phone number is probably best. But instead of requesting them back say hey by the way I have something special I set up for you. Check it out, here's a link and it should answer some more questions.
Well the way it's kind of like this kind of tricky strategy. I taught them on how to build a list without actually having a person opt in. Have you ever heard that before?
So basically they're requesting information from you and by them doing a certain action it puts them into the list. So what I'm saying is when they email you you just tell them hey email me. And basically long story short we're inside a global apps network so I can share freely. So long story short when you create a list in Aweber a lot of.
People don't know this.
Let's say you name the list Greg Gomez number one that's the list name when you create the list. I like that if you tell someone to email you Greg Gomez1 if that was the list name@aweber.com did you know that that person when they email you goes into your list?
Basically if they email you greg gomez1dweber.com then aweber sends them a double opt in request saying please confirm that you wanted this list. So I taught them how to do this messaging. Just ask for more information about this on Craigslist. Please send me more information. That's what they emailed you. So we're telling them to email us so we can can send them more information about how they can basically get a job with us or whatever it is.
Got you. And on the confirmation email when it comes out where do you direct them? Do you direct them to the GAN group?
So what happens is when they. So this is the process.
Sorry, you can explain this to me later. That's fine if you want.
No, no, no, I actually want to explain it because there may be some people who are on who didn't go through the Craigslist masterclass yet.
Right.
You can actually go to it underneath blog and then there's the stack, the cool bulk products that we have there. So anyways, so person looking for job on Craigslist sees an ad by Greg Gomez says tech company looking for outside reps. We have the copy and the training teach you what to write. You write the copy and it says email.
If you want more details about this position, email Jen at the email address below. And the email address below is jenben1aweber.com and in the body and the subject of the email say I want more information. And we say in the body list your name and phone number.
Okay.
So when they do that we get that information and then Aweber sends back a confirmation says to make sure that you know and we can, we can set this confirmation up. It says Craigslist request for more information. Please confirm a little message says hey, before we send you information about getting more details about our business please click the link below because we want to make sure it's you before we send you information. So then our follow up email sent to our autoresponder because now they're in their list when they confirm sends the link to the website. Another opt in to an automated webinar or whatever it may be.
Now hold on, I'm going to suggest something. When they click on the link you have the option to direct them to where you want them to for confirmation.
I say that in the training, in the training there's a success link where you can actually send them right to the webinar. You can put a thank you page video. I tell them to kind of be creative, do it how you want.
Right?
Absolutely. You can put right. When they confirm you can have them go right to the page to opt in. Absolutely. And I encourage you guys to do that. Quit the automated webinar. In fact I guess I'm up right now. I was going to show you guys this. Let me go and show you what I was working on last night. I Was going to get into lead jam, but I think this is probably a little bit better for me to show you guys. Let me actually show you my screen, actually. You guys can give me one second and we'll talk a little bit about that and I'll go to my screen.
William's back. Can we hear you now, brother?
He's always got the snazzy hats on, man. I dig it.
Hey, can you guys hear me?
I can now. Hey, what's going on, guys? Sup, brah?
Sorry, I was having a little technical difficulties. I'm not really too good with this technology stuff.
Hey, you're having fewer tech issues than the guys aren't here, right?
So tell us a little bit while we're getting ready to go here, how you cracked into the top 10, man. What was your strategies? How did you make it happen?
You know what? Mark Overson said something in a training that I watched right before I decided I was gonna try to get into this. And he said, most people don't compete. Like, they don't even try. You know what I mean? And I wanted to actually get into the futuristic competition and somebody talked me out of it. They're like, ah, there's too many people, ah, this, ah, that, whatever. So I just kind of made up my mind. I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna go in and just see what happens. And.
Yeah, that was pretty much kind of my. I just decided to do it and.
I just went in.
That's awesome, man. And so what were some of the, like, key strategies that you actually used to get yourself, like, what was your day to day? What was your plan of action to get there when you set out to compete? What was your main strategy?
You know what, I actually didn't spend any money on marketing. I didn't do a webinar. I didn't do any of that stuff. Mostly was talking to just people on Facebook.
Over the last, I would probably say, like six months, I really started to focus on how to become a better marketer and how to.
Basically looking at what you, Greg, Matt, all these people are doing. And I started to understand marketing from a deeper level. My ability to speak to somebody on Facebook exponentially grew because I started to understand that it wasn't about.
Global apps network, it wasn't about this product, that product, you know, that product. It was more about, you know, people are looking for a solution to change their life. And I started to reframe everything that I was doing. And instead of me coming at them with an opportunity, I started Marketing solutions. And so I started talking to people about global apps as if it was the solution, not. Not as if it was like this new traffic thing or all this other kind of stuff or whatever.
I would kind of lead with that. But then when I would get them on, like, chat or Skype or whatever, I would talk to them about how it could impact the future of their business or what they're already doing. And then it was basically like a vehicle to achieve what they wanted. And that was really kind of my strategy, just really talking to them like that and getting them to see that if you can invest $19 into yourself and you see all the people who are doing it, I mean, you buy all their products, you buy all their, you know, everything that they always put out, why wouldn't you do what they're now doing? And that was kind of how I.
Approached it, and it just kind of worked.
Dude, that's awesome. You made some huge. I like the point you made about competing. Now, I do have to ask you a question now. Why did you not do the webinars and some of the other things? What held you back from that? Was that something that you would do next time? Now, knowing what you could do, what you did do, without really spending money on marketing, what do you think could have happened had you done that?
Well, partially the reason why I didn't do a webinar is because I was in the transition of moving. And for me.
Like, I'm moving from Canada to the United States. And so for me, it was more.
Like, good for you.
If I'm gonna get. Definitely if I'm gonna do a webinar, because I've done a lot of webinars and I need to put time into it. And, you know, just. I didn't really feel like I was just ready to do one at that particular moment. And so that's just the honest truth. That's the reason why I didn't do one.
Absolutely. But you should have confidence now to know that, I mean, look what you did without it. I mean, imagine if you. If you were. You might be awesome, man.
100% agree with you. So what I kind of did was I said, okay, you know what? Since I can't do a webinar, let me focus on helping somebody else that I brought in to get into the top 10. And that would actually, to me, for what I'm doing, it would speak a lot because I work with a lot of new people that would speak loud because somebody who's a brand new marketer came in And I literally coached him through this whole process.
You know, that was kind of the goal that I set. So I don't know if that makes sense.
And for those of you guys who don't know, Gavin, who finished 10th, was, I believe, one of the individuals who you coached, Correct?
Yes. Yes.
To me, that's the sign of a true leader when, you know, you're teaching that duplication and you start to see people that you've coached reach different levels. That's awesome, man. That's sweet. So, okay, so. But I'm not gonna let you off the hook that easy, because I drilled Martin down. I said, okay, what do you actually do? So that's good around the surface. That's what everyone else does. We go deeper at Global Apps Network. So what did you do specifically on Facebook to communicate, to share value? How did you get people to see that this could be the answer to some of their problems that they have? Specifically, like, when you communicated with someone was these. Were these new people? Were these new people? Were these people that you already friends with? Like, what actually took place? What happened there?
You know what? It was funny because a lot of people that I talked to were like, hey, I just joined through Martin. I was like, man. But no, it was.
You know what? To be honest with you, I did not overcomplicate events. It was not. I don't have, like, a secret ninja nothing. It was literally, I did what you said. Like, I did the same thing Martin did. I watched all the videos, and you did a video on. Posting on Facebook. And that's what I did. I went into my Facebook account, I put the message on, you know, the news feed, and I sent it out, and I started to get. You know, people just started hitting me up about it.
Awesome.
So it wasn't really. Now, the only thing that I could probably say that might be a little bit different is the copy that I wrote and, like, the way I write my posts, because it's not like, hey, check out this, or, hey, check out that. It's really more about.
Something that I learned from a guy who makes hundreds of millions of dollars online. He told. He basically taught me that products are based on emotions, right? And so instead of me outlining all the features of Global Apps, I did a one sheet of all the emotions that people were looking to kind of get over or kind of achieve, basically. And then.
So what I did with that was I literally had an avatar sheet. And every time I write a Facebook post, I would just look at that, and I wouldn't say you know, like even if you read my post, it never really said get 3 cent clicks, blah, blah, blah, all the time stuff. I would talk about how people could self actualize if they knew how to.
Get back on Google or if they.
Knew how to do this or if they knew how to do that. So I think that really helped out with, I mean, I got hundreds, probably like almost 500 clicks on my links and I don't really have that many Facebook friends. So.
That's cool, man. But the cool thing is that you had that is a strategy in itself. Just your philosophy, in the way that you're posting and the fact that you've gone a deeper level to think through that this is what a person is going to see when they see my post. This is the kind of emotion that I want to.
Start to have the individual develop from just looking at it. And that is when you know that you're evolving as a marketer when you're thinking deeper. And that's why I always try to what is the strategy? Because again, we go on these webinars, we go to events and everyone knows you have to work hard, everyone knows you need to develop skills. But there's something different that top marketers do. You're here for a reason. And.
Showing up and being here and finishing the top 10, it does something deeper psychologically to your customers. So now you can add these types of awards to what you're already doing. Like you said, the ability for you to compete. It goes much deeper than just the fact that you're competing with yourself, letting yourself know that you can do it. It's doing something deeper to now the people that you're communicating with, you're saying to them, look, I just did what was taught to me and this is my result. And I didn't have to do it throwing hundreds of thousands of dollars. I didn't have to do it cursing and screaming and acting crazy. All I had to do was basically share exactly my results of my experience and solve a problem. Yeah, and that's basically what you did. And not to mention, not only did you not solve a problem, a person that you coached cracked the top 10. Like, how cool is that?
Yeah.
You know what I mean? So yeah.
It'S definitely like a lot of people that I would talk to. What I see a lot online is that people just kind of like jump all over the place. Like they just do a bunch of products and do a bunch of, you know, the latest thing that looks hot. And what I was telling people when I would talk to them about this is that you gotta. You gotta stop that. Like, you got to go deep with something. And if you're looking at, you know, Matt Lloyd and Mark Hoverson and Greg and you and Ray and all these people doing this, I'm like, it's time to stop. Not stop buying from them, but you got to do what they're doing. And I think a lot of people that started to resonate with them because a lot of people spend a lot of money on stuff and I'm like, you got to do what they're doing. And for me, that's kind of. My philosophy is like, I buy products and buy stuff like that. But with your stuff, for instance, I decided I'm gonna go deep with your stuff. So if you have something that's coming out or whatever's going on, I already not have an advantage, but I'm already kind of acclimated with your style and your stuff. And so what I encourage people to do is just go deep with one thing. You don't have to know every strategy, Facebook, Twitter, all this kind of stuff. Just pick one thing, go deep with it. And then when these type of competitions come along.
You'Re positioned correctly so that you can just. Because people already kind of know you for that one.
Absolutely. And also, you're building trust with your people. You're not selling a new thing every single week. And that's what makes it cool. So let's see. Let's do this real quick, guys. It's 11:40. Let's all just kind of stand up and take a deep breath. I'm looking at the schedule here.
We got at 12:30. I'm going to start in about four minutes. And I'm going to be showing you guys a couple things that I think you can tie in. I'm going to stand up myself. Let's take a break. Let's do the dance. All right. Because we've been going a while. This is going to be fun. And we still got. I mean, I think it's awesome. Amount of people that are just engaged right now, they're still here. All right, cool. So by show of hands, I mean, just you guys here, how cool is this going to be? I mean, being able to do this once a month, bringing on awesome people, being able to share, go deep. I mean, this is the kind of thing that just for this alone, I would pay $97 a month. I mean, I mean, absolutely. Just for this type of stuff. Alright, so what I'm going to do right now is I want to Take you guys into inside.
Hey, Vince, real quick, brother. I got a bounce, man. This was last minute plan for me or I'd be here all day. But I got kids I got to watch. My sitters got to bounce after this.
All right, brother.
I appreciate you guys.
I will. I'm gonna go.
I'll see you guys in a video.
I will. I definitely will. Thanks for having me, guys. I'll see you guys in a bit later.
Take care. All right, so guys, what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you guys a couple things because my goal in this is I can always get into like.
Techie lead gen strategies. I mean, to be quite honest, there's a ton of them inside the global apps network already. But I want you guys to know something, that at least my philosophy behind stuff. So let me just go to a different page. Actually, I don't want this. What I want is.
My little paintbrush here.
All right.
So I want to take you guys deep inside the philosophy of what goes on inside of my mind with marketing. And I want to dig a little bit deeper into what you said earlier, William, which is doing what they do. We get caught up a lot in watching what everyone is doing and amazed by what a marketer is doing. We almost just sit there and we're like, what did they post today and what did they say today? If you ever find yourself doing that.
Can you try to think of yourself being the person that people are saying, man, I should be doing that from what you're doing, if that makes any sense. So you gotta try to. You need to focus on putting marketing blinders on and develop a sense and a strategy to get people to say, okay, you're not the person just on the outside and watching. You're the person that people are watching.
Okay.
And this is one of the things that I do. Instead of actually drawing this, I'm going to show you guys an example. Okay? So, like, obviously Facebook is a huge marketing method for a lot of Internet marketers. Hey, guys, if you guys are on, if there's stuff going on in the background, can we mute that a little bit? Because I'm hearing a lot of feedback.
Okay.
Jill, Jen.
I think that's Jen.
Yeah, I'll mute her.
All right.
Jen's muted. All right, so. All right, so. But what we want to do is we want to be.
We want to always be.
Innovative, right? We don't want to do the same things like we want to be our own unique self. We want to take what people are doing, and we want to.
Be a little bit more innovative. So what you guys will probably see here very, very shortly is a lot of Facebook type marketing strategies. For me, you're going to see me posting a lot of stuff, and I want to take you guys inside of my thought process. Now, one of the strategies that I use with Facebook.
Is I use what's called a sandwich method a lot of the times. Now, a sandwich method is this. I'm going to give you guys an example of sandwich. A sandwich method. So Facebook basically allows you to advertise right here on the side of the Facebook page, right? So when people click on the ad, that'll drive you to either like a fan page or to an external link. So this could be your fan page. Okay. Or like a website or a lead capture page or something like that.
Right?
Website or whatever. A sandwich page is something that goes in between here.
That captures the interest of the person and then leads them to here. Now, some people may say, why would I add a step from where the person clicks on the ad to my page? Why would I add this step right here? And let me explain to you why. And this, you guys are gonna have to, like, really get and really, really kind of dig in and go deeper than what you may possibly think. There's a few reasons. Number one, and some of you have already probably sent me an email saying, hey, Vince, some of the Facebook strategies you have back there, they aren't working like they used to because these sites are businesses. Remember that they're always going to change. I can teach you a Facebook strategy today and tomorrow. Facebook can change everything. That doesn't mean that the strategy I talked to you doesn't work. It just means that you may need to think of a different way to make it work. So a sandwich page is a page that I add in between. Maybe it's a video right here with a button that leads here. Now, the reason I do this is because when I create a sandwich page, I can change this anytime I want to go anywhere. It can go to my fan page. This button could link to a website. This button can link to a webinar.
Okay?
But once my ad is approved, this sandwich page is just a filler that allows me to kind of beat Facebook.
Are you guys understanding those of you who are here? Can you. Do you guys get what I'm saying from that right there?
Let me come back to my screen. Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm gonna unmute. Jen, Jen, you're now not muted. Do you get What I'm saying there.
I think you probably muted yourself. Do you get what I'm saying there?
Absolutely, absolutely. It's very important to just follow the Facebook rules, get approved, get what you need to have done and then you can finish do your business that you need to have done. Absolutely.
Okay, cool. So let me give you guys a real idea, an example of this. All right, so let me show you this sandwich page that I created last night.
All right, so here's an example of a sandwich page. Internet sales workshop. Learn the secrets to earning a full time income with no training, no experience or products. Free workshop reveals 100k per month club Meet Ventry Free online workshop. So at the end of the day, this doesn't really do anything. And check out what happens when they play in a video. When they play it, it just says, you have to register first, my friend. Enter the money vault below. So I'm not doing anything that different than what someone else may do. I'm just being a little bit more creative. I want this definitely will stand out in the crowd. I mean, I haven't really seen anyone say enter the money vault below. I've seen things like that. Now again, nothing like that techy about this. It's just a video that I made that it just keeps playing that once you click play and it'll go away. And it just says you have to register first, my friend. Enter the money. Enter the money vault below. Again, digging in psychologically to like, people want to be part of the club, they want to essentially be part of it. Like what you guys are part of. The reason why we close down these events now is because this is a closed community to people that are movers and shakers, right? People that want to create amazing results. So down here again, free online workshop reveals my secret cash flow method. Enter to click to enter. You got the money bowl. Now you can click to enter. Now if I'm putting this on Facebook, okay, I'm putting this on Facebook. This is my example of a sandwich page. So I can be really generic with my advertising method and I can take this button once this ad is approved and have it go anywhere that I want it to go. Okay, this is the example because for me, I'm always thinking about like what's going to prevent me from doing what I need to do. It's marketer. What is going to be the next thing that's going to block me from getting to my end result, which is to connect with as many people as possible. And it's basically when you post an ad and you're leading people to your fan page or to a website that they don't like. So my thing is I want them to get to my website that Facebook doesn't like. So I'm going to create a sandwich page that could do it. Now, this page may not get approved with the original ad. I may tone this down, but my goal is to. Again, this is a branding sandwich page. I call this a branding sandwich page page because if you refresh the page, the button doesn't stop. But there's a lot going on here. It lets you know that. Okay, hey, this is definitely a leader in the industry. He's speaking like, what's going on here?
Right?
There's some decent colors. It's not too much. It's bright, so it's not.
Dark where.
It kind of makes you not want to click off of it. And then as you come down here again, it's capturing what's going on inside of the prospect's mind.
When the video plays, it says click the money, enter the money vault below and it says click to enter again. Psychologically, I want the person to feel as if, okay, they're entering into something amazing. So now this one in particular, okay, actually links to an automated webinar for gan. Alright, So I give them a quick presentation and then they can go to an automated webinar. Alright, so again, I'm still capitalizing on a free online workshop reveals. So if I go back here to the page, it's still in that workshop. Free online workshop reveals. Mentally, in my mind, anything that I sandwich to this will be in tune with that same type of copy. Okay, in tune to that same type of copy. Now what happens on the other side like once they opt in? So they click here. And again, this is a page where some people may say, well, how did you create this? I actually created this in. I have a company called Netdivvy where you can create these squeeze pages. So if you guys aren't part of netdivi, you can definitely check it out. But you can do this with your own squeeze page. This isn't to sell that.
It's just.
I know that's going to be a question as you create this page. Alright, so, but again, this is just an image that links anywhere. This image can link to anywhere that I made. Simple, simple image. And again, I have this connected to my automated webinar and I'll use this to connect to a lot of different places. Now I actually just saw that the ads that I created didn't get Approved. So the ads that I created for this sandwich page didn't get approved. And there's probably a lot of reasons. And typically I'll resubmit and go again. So we'll actually go into Facebook and I'll take you to my ad campaign. Let's take a look at the ones I created last night that didn't get approved. And I have an idea of why. But I was kind of pushing the envelope. I wanted to see how far I could take it. So we'll go into manage the ads.
Now.
As you can see, this one right here, it says GAN companies. M means males 21 to 50. That's just the age group of the people that I'm targeting. So if I click on that, you can see this ad actually got disapproved. So I just put it up. And this is another quick tip. When you're creating Facebook ads, don't create all of your ads on all of your keywords. Just put it up like one ad. And once it's approved, you can just duplicate the ad and change the interest or who you're targeting. And if you're questioning how I do all this stuff, again, if you go into the partner sales training, there's some Facebook PPC training in there. Anyways, as you can see, I want you to see this ad that I created. This is my thought process again. I want you guys, my goal in this entire journey, wherever we go with mobile apps network, is I really want you guys to understand psychologically my thought process behind my marketing. So if I'm targeting companies, this particular ad is targeting companies. Now it says, meet Vince Reed. There's a method to his madness. You have to see it to believe it. Leaked video inside. Okay. I think that I'm pushing it a little bit with Facebook. All right, now let's see. I've never actually seen this, so let's see what they say.
Before resubmitting your ad, please visit the help center. I've never actually taken a look at it. Let's see.
Let'S see. Ads and sponsored stories may not directly call out specific likes or interest in the copy as unrelated to the advertising product.
Okay.
The positioning is appropriate for your target audience. The creator is relative to the product. The ad is sponsor. Does not assert or imply user prohibitive characteristics. Okay, so what I'm thinking personally and you guys can give me feedback, and I think this is actually really good training because we can see the process and maybe we'll even resubmit it and see if it gets approved by the End of the event. I think they have an issue with the leaked video. I think that they want me to be a little bit more transparent in what I'm going to do. So I bet you if I change this to just say something like register for the webinar inside instead of leaked video, it's kind of like you're just tricking me to get inside.
Also, I know that they don't like you to have a lot of things capitalized. I don't think I'm there that bad there. I honestly feel like if I just change this from leaked video to register for webinar, I think I would be good. That's what I'm gonna do. What do you guys think?
Yeah, test it.
Agree.
Alright.
Yeah.
Alright. So what we're doing is I'm gonna go in and test it. But before I actually do that, did you guys notice how the image that I used was the exact same image that you see on the video? Did you see that?
They like that continuity.
Alright, so what I'm trying to do here is I'm basically saying I want to close some of this stuff down. Alright? What I'm saying here is I want this one. And by the way, I'm targeting network marketing companies specifically for this because a lot of these people may have no idea who I am. So it's like, meet me, my name is Vintrea. Meet Vintrea. Okay, so what I'm gonna do here if I have enough time, I mean, enough space. Let's see.
There is a method to his madness. You have to see it to believe it. I think that could be a little weird too with Facebook. But I'm gonna leave that and just see what happens.
Want or let's see. Register.
Four. I like to get numbers in my ads too. For some reason, numbers work. Register for webinar. It's kind of bad, but it converts. Where? Well, register for webinar now.
Okay, we can't get that. We're out of space. All right, let's just see how that does. There's a method to his madness. You have to see it to believe it. Register for webinar now. I think this is going to get approved this way. Alright, so I'm going to come down and again, I'm talking to you. United States, 21 to 50 males. Males only on this one. And as you can see, My target is 14 cents to 46 cents. I just put. I didn't really even think if I was the first company popped into my head. This is at like midnight last Night. And then we come down here and you can see I just. You can add your budget. I optimize for clicks at 14 cents. I went right in the middle at 25 cents. And we'll go ahead and we will click save. So we'll resubmit and let's see what happens on that one. All right, so that one's now resubmitted. So let's go into the other ad. I want you guys to see the difference.
Alright, so this one Right here is GAN leaders, males 21 to 50. So on this particular campaign I'm targeting the leaders in the industry. So this is great because if you're targeting leaders in the industry, then.
Chances are people are going to be doing their own research or be connected to them via Facebook. So this is one I think I just threw in JBUD in there and this one got disapproved as well. So let's take a look at this one and see. Let me actually go inside now on this one because I'm targeting another person. Like a different people who are associated or like other leaders. I'm not gonna be like, hey, meet me in this one. My thought process is they're already in tune and like someone else. This one I want to play off of the whole, the whole thing, right? So as you can see, this one says guru or fake question mark.
Okay.
Because I'm targeting a leader. Again, go deep inside my thought process behind like what I'm doing.
Alright?
So I'm saying, is this dude a real guru or just another Internet marketing fake? And I think like I said, the problem is leaked video inside this will take them to the same page, okay? It will take them to the same page, okay. Where they can then register for an automated webinar. You guys getting value from this? From this, like seeing how this works.
Everyone's muted.
Yeah, definitely.
This is awesome. All right, I want you guys to see. I mean it's an open book.
Yeah, definitely.
Now I'm targeting leaders, remember that? So if I'm targeting big name leaders like Bud and all these guys, when a new leader, let's think again. Let's think back to what happened, right? In marketing, when someone's targeting a leader in the industry, they normally will put themselves up there and say, hey, I have strategies. Look at me, right? And most people that follow leaders, if they already have interest and we're targeting them, they kind of already respect the leader. So you gotta kind of earn your stripes. So instead of me saying, hey, meet Vince Reed, basically saying, hey, you should look at me as being a leader amongst these great marketers. I'm basically playing against myself and saying what I know people are already thinking. The minute they click on something that I have, they have absolutely no idea who I am. So it's like guru or fake, right? Tapping into exactly what the person is already probably thinking. And then I'm kind of using words that just kind of drive emotion. And is this dude a real guru or just another Internet marketing fake again, being congruent with it, but we're still saying, who is this guy? So when they click it, they're going here and they're like, okay, this is this guy. Meet Vintuary. Now they can meet me and then they can make the decision for themselves at that point. Alright, so what I'm gonna do again is I'm gonna just change this leaked video. And what I'm also gonna do, let's just go to register for event.
Instead of register for webinar, I'm going to say event. Actually, let's say workshop. No, I say event because I want to put inside.
Register for event. Oops. Register for event.
Inside. Oh, that's too long. Register for event now.
Let's see how that looks. Does this do the real guru or just another Internet market? Register for event now. All right, so as you, by the way, guys, I only do web. I love marketing and driving traffic via webinars. That's my thing. Like, I don't do a lot of like sales videos. Like I know we give them. A lot of people want sales videos. They want to be able to say, this is what I'm selling. Here's the product, look at it and buy.
Now.
I don't believe, like, I don't believe that. I think the amazing things happen at events. Like right now you guys are at an event, you're learning a lot of strategy. You're engaged, you're learning strategies. This is the same process that's happening with the customers who are going to this event. So register for. And also what I'm going to do here is not capitalize everything because there has to be a certain ratio of like, they don't really like you doing that on Facebook, having too many words capitalized. All right, so is this dude a real guru, just another Internet marketing fake? Register for event now. Alright, we'll try that one and we'll go ahead and we'll leave it here. You can see same thing, 25 cents. I mean, take a look at that guys. 25 cents a click. So I'm going to go ahead and hit save and we'll see what happens. And if it gets denied, guess what will happen, guys? I'll come in here and I'll play with it and I'll figure it out and I'll do it again.
All I'm doing is driving traffic to that sandwich page. And then we have GAN Systems. So males 21 to 55. And again, this is mail. So what I will do is once these are appropriate, I can go in and add additional.
Companies and leaders to this ad. And all I would do is once it's approved is if I click on this.
And if I click on the ad.
Okay.
And then if I click create a similar ad, it'll allow me to create a very similar ad. Just like that. Alright, so let's see here.
Hey Vince, I have a quick question for you. Sure.
When you're creating another ad and this might be helpful for others on the call, do you just do one ad and then wait for it to get approved and then once it's approved, do you go and create another ad, a similar ad targeting other people or do you try to create a few ads all at once?
I don't create a few ads at once. As you can see, I just created one in each category. And then once it's approved, I'll go in and recreate a similar ad and just put the different categories. So like for companies, if this ad gets approved, what I'll do is I'll come back in and then make another one for a list of like 20 different companies and put it in that category under the same thing, under males 21 to 50. And then I'll go in and I'll do it. I'll do females, I'll do the same ad, I'll see if I get one approved and then I'll target females, same age, same thing. So then I see which ones are converting and which ones aren't. And then I'll actually start removing companies that aren't getting anything. So I can maximize my clicks. And then one other strategy that I use is I don't always run the same ad every day. Because you gotta realize Facebook isn't like search traffic. So for example.
Facebook works like this. Let me show you how Facebook works again, understanding psychologically what's happening. Facebook works like this. So you will start seeing these ads. Trust me, you guys will, you'll get bombarded, you'll see it and then all of a sudden you get a lot of clicks right here. Then the next day the same thing, the next day happens. The Ads pop up. And you'll see the ads right here, right on the side of the page. Now, what most people do, and this is really, really important, most people place ads, right? And the ads run. The budget runs, and then it runs out. And then the next day the ad will play run again at the same time every day until they say they stop running their ad. I consciously think about it when I see the same ad. Now what do I do? I don't click on it, but maybe the first time I click on it. And then if my budget runs out at like 3pm and it's because I run my ad in the morning and it runs every day at the same time, what I do is on Monday, I'll run my ad in the morning, and then on Tuesday, I leave it paused, and I won't run it until like five at night. Then on Wednesday, I'll turn that, I'll pause that ad and run it on Wednesday morning again. Do you see what I'm saying? So I switch it up, understanding that it's not like people are searching for this information like on Google. When someone searches right on Google and the result pops up and your ad shows up on Google on the top or whatever that person at that very moment is interested in, whatever it is that they just searched for. Facebook isn't that way. Facebook is kind of like the equivalent of a billboard. The beauty of it is you actually put in your marketing abilities or your products in front of a person who, you know, has some type of interest in your product or service. So that's what makes it different from a billboard. So, for example, you're driving down the highway and people see you at a billboard. Okay, that may not be for them, right? Like, whatever that is on that billboard may not be for them. But the company who paid the money is praying that somebody drives by and has interest in my billboard. Facebook is cool because it's like billboard marketing. But you can place the billboard on people's pages that, you know, have some type of similar interest. Okay? So with that being said, with anything just like, what's hot and what's not, People get things. It's hot for a second, and then all of a sudden it's not. So you've got to adjust your psychologically adjust your marketing. So you post your ad on Monday, and then you post it on Wednesday. So why do you think I'm doing males 21 to 50? And then I'll create another one that's females 21 to 50? Because I can switch my times around in different points of view. So different people are seeing my ads at different times. So if I go into systems, so everyone knows mlsp, you can target different systems. So now why do people join systems? People join systems because they want to learn how to generate leads. That's why you join a system. You join systems because you want to learn how to generate leads. At least in our industry, that's why they'll join the system. So look at my thought process here. I use this weird pink color on purpose because again, it's like I said, the lead guy speaks. So I'm speaking to males, but I use kind of like a color that normally isn't associated with the male color. Again, because all we care about is clicks. That's all we care about is clicks. And if you look at some of the psychological things that you see here, it says leads, but it's like not really saying leads. It's just subliminal. And then there's a penny right there, back there. So it says the lead guy speaks the truth about one penny leads and converting them into sales. Leaked video inside. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to do the same.
Thing.
And say, register for webinar. So there's a conscious effort to think through where I'm placing my ads. I think, again, this is just. This type of stuff happens the more you start marketing. Every dollar counts, right?
Every bit of your marketing, it counts. It matters. So.
If you're not thinking that way, if you're not thinking about who is actually seeing it, what's going on inside of their mind, inside of their brain, it can affect your marketing down the road. So again, think through the message that you're trying to portray to your audience. So we'll go here and we'll save this one and we'll see what happens. So as you can see, I'll come back over here to the hangout.
One second here.
All right. So as you can see, the message that you want to basically.
Portray is that there needs to be a thought process behind what it is that you're doing with your marketing. If there's no thought process behind who you're targeting and why you're targeting them, it's going to be extremely difficult for you to get the kind of conversions that you want. Make sure your message is congruent. Make sure there's a thought process behind what this person is feeling, what they're actually experiencing and going through.
Again, it will make all the world in your marketing. So what I want to do Right now is we've got 20 minutes. I want to take some questions and I want to do a little break to let you guys grab something to eat. But Jen, were there any questions that came in during that? And if you do have questions, feel free to type them in.
Yeah, let me go back over there. There was a couple.
Hold.
Oh, yes, Scott, we'll break for lunch. There are a lot of people that I want to.
Yeah, we're going to be breaking in the next 20 minutes, guys.
No problem. Okay, so a question. He goes, he has a lot of friends on Facebook who are in the same MLM as him. And when they post their offers, it goes on his Facebook. How can I stop them in my post without deleting them, as they're my friends and want peeps on my post to buy from me. Hope that makes sense. So I think what he's asking is he has a lot of his friends on Facebook are in the same company as him. So he wants to know, kind of, how can you still make these kind of offers if you're competing against some of the people who are your friends?
Yeah, well, I don't know. Maybe, Jen, you're more familiar with how. Maybe you can answer that one.
Chris, the way that you can do that is you segment your Facebook lists. So when you. You would put all of your. You could create a list called same people in the MLM as me. So if you're an XY mlm, you can create a list and put all of those people in there, and then you can create a list with everyone else. And then when you're creating your posts, Facebook lets you direct it to what lists you want it to go to. So you would just need to spend the time to separate your lists on Facebook. Facebook to target people who aren't there. The other thing is, it's not really that I'm not sure what challenge you're seeing it is as it adds. When I was marketing my MLM through my Facebook, there were a lot of people who were in the same company as me. But just like what William said is some people don't take any kind of action. So as long as you're out there posting, don't worry about it too much. Just keep doing what you're doing. But if you. You really want to separate them, you do it via the lists. Okay, Absolutely.
Right.
I also started doing that. I'll just jump in and just to touch what Jen was saying, I actually did that. A lot of people, I mean, for those of you that I don't know if this happens to you, maybe Vince or Jen, but people that I'm targeting are not for.
They would just never use this.
Right.
Like my friends and family.
Right.
They just don't have a business. They're not business minded. I actually segmented them. I put them all on a friends list or my family list. And when I do my posts or do like an event, I make sure not to invite them because it just won't make sense to them. I actually got people like, on my family saying, hey, stop sending me invites. You know, I don't have nothing. I can't use this, you know? So, yeah, the segmenting part definitely, definitely works.
How do you actually do that on Facebook?
Yeah, Martin, show them how you segmenting. Show them how you did that on Facebook.
How do you actually segment people from just the post? I didn't even know you could do.
That on Facebook because I'm in the questions.
Okay, okay, let me see if I can. Is it on the left screen?
Desktop?
You'll see where you're looking. You just minimize that once you click it, then you'll be able to see your screen.
All right.
Let'S see.
Whoa, that looks like.
Can you see my. My Facebook?
Not yet. I see, like.
I don't see anything up on your screen. Do you have two screen?
No, I just have one.
Oh, yeah, now we see it now.
Okay, perfect. So let's see what I do this.
So on the side right here. Let's see.
I think I can show this.
Sorry to put you on the spot, man.
Yeah, I don't even remember now how I did this.
Okay, Martin, if you go into your post, if you go into your. Make a post on your page at the bottom of the status bar, it'll ask you how you want to make this. Do you want it to go public? Do you want it to go to your friends? Do you want it to go to friends? Except acquaintances. Only me or customer. And you can make it these people on the lists and you can create your list.
Do you want to say what's in.
Yeah, sorry. No problem.
Yeah.
Before you do that, I actually found it. You can actually create a.
If you go to like, where did I go? I don't even remember where I went. Oh, friends. Right here. So if you go to friends and you hit more, you can actually create lists. So let me just create a list.
Real quick before you go any further.
Hey, Martin, is his screen a little blurry to you for some reason? Is it clear to you when he's. When he's showing the screen.
Well, okay, it's you again. Oh, no, it is a little blurry. I was think I was on the other page. I'm back now. I was on the question page. I'm back now. It is a little blurry.
Go ahead, Martin.
Okay, I'm not sure how to fix that, but all you got to do. Let me just go real quick again. Create list. So what you're going to do is you're going to go on the left side of Facebook. I have different groups that I'm a part of. I have different pages that I have set up. There's like a little friend section right here. You just hit more. Hit that more tab and then you can start creating lists. So here, different lists that I have some people from high school, some people from my college that I went to. Add the nitrous business builder champion. I have different ones that mob.
Tug. I have different lists that I've actually created. So let me just. You create a list, you can actually just name it whatever you want. So I just put gan and then I'll put people, whoever I want to be on this list. So I just put. I'll put Vince and I'll put Jen.
Just so you can see. And then I just create the list. And when doing that, you can actually segment your list or segment the people that you want on this list. So when you're sending like Jen said, and maybe Jen, you can take over from here. But when you're doing a post or you're doing like an invite, you can actually just send it to these lists. Instead of trying to send it to everybody, all your friends, you can just send it to specific lists that you want to see this message.
Okay.
Yeah.
So I don't know if that helps.
Can you guys see my screen?
Yes.
Okay, so here, when you're in your. So this is my personal profile. So when I want to send a status and you see right over here, public friends, friends, except acquaintances only me or customer. And then you can share with these people on your lists or you can say you don't share with and you can say you don't want to share it with your family list or your friends list or those type of things. So it's each post you can decide what you want to send out to them. So there's a lot of people.
That are hesitant to build their personal profile because they are afraid or they want two profiles because they go, well, I got one that's personal with my friends and family and one that's business and you guys don't need to do that. Facebook actually doesn't like you to do that. They will kind of, if they find it, they'll kind of shut one of them down or give you an option to shut one of them down. So the way that you do it is just exactly what Martin said is segment your list, and then when you're making your posts, you determine who you want to go, who it goes out to. If it goes out to public, it goes out to every one of your friends.
Someone needs to make a video showing that in depth. Like, that'd be awesome. You send out to the community. I think that's. I think a lot of reasons people don't promote us is they're afraid of what their family's gonna say. And I'll tell you what, I used to be that way, too. Like, I didn't want people to know what I was doing. And finally I got to the point where, like, I don't really care. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
That's what happened to me. I just got to the point where it's like, I don't really care. I mean, people that really know me know that way back in the beginning, I didn't even show. Have a picture of me. It was just like a symbol because I didn't want really everyone knowing what I was doing. And, you know, and also, especially when you're getting new. I mean, I get it. Like, when you're new and you haven't made money and you're talking about this industry, you know, your friends are like, oh, this guy, he's not making any money. Like, why is he posting this stuff? What a waste of time. What a scam. I get it. So that could be preventing you from making money because you're not posting. You're not doing things you want because you're worried about what everyone else is going to say. Screw it. Who cares what they're going to say? At the end of the day, they're going to say it regardless. If you start making money, they're not going to believe you. It was funny because when I was actually going to write that ad, the ad that I was writing last night, I was in the shower.
I don't know.
I get some great ideas when I'm in the shower. But I was in the shower and I was like. I was like, I'm going to write this on that page, the one that you guys saw, where I can actually go back and show you guys. The one where I was on the sandwich page. Actually, I won't show you. I was gonna say.
If, like, because it said something on that page, like the hundred K club or something, like a month club. And it said if I told you I did it, you wouldn't believe me. If I told you you could do it, you think it's a scam?
Yep.
If I told you you couldn't, you try. Isn't that weird?
Yeah.
So it's like I was gonna write that as points. Like if I told you I did this, you wouldn't believe me. If I told you you could do it.
You'D think it's a scam. If I told you you couldn't, you would try. Isn't it weird how when you make somebody, when you challenge someone, you say, oh, you can't do that naturally. Like, okay, I'm gonna prove you wrong.
That was some of the copy I was gonna do. Alright, so I got a notice just now on this that says that for whatever reason our hangout is going to end in an hour. So I guess there's a timeline on how long we can be on here. So what I'm gonna do guys, is everyone that's streaming live, we're gonna break for. We're gonna have a break and I'm gonna close this one down and we'll put the new one up. So we'll start back at about 11 15. So be back at 11 15. And everyone that's on right now, I'll just read, I'll send you another thing to jump back on. So try if you're on the hangout and you want to be continuing, make sure you're back here.
Like five or 10 before one. It's 12:20, so we got 40 minutes. We'll go get something to eat and then we'll get back. And we got, what do we got? We got Ray Higdon, we got Dagan Smith, we got Matt Lloyd. So I'm like extremely pumped up and excited about it. All right, so again I'm going to end this and then again I'll read invite. I'm going to jump off probably 10 minutes before and I'll make sure. So if you're watching live through global Apps Network, what you're watching now, we're going to end it and then we'll repost the new broadcast page. You'll come back in and be able to log back in.
