Vince Reed (speaker) shares a concise marketing lesson he learned from Russell Brunson: having top-tier skills (a “level 10” skill set) isn’t enough if the business vehicle or market opportunity is too small (a “level 3” opportunity). He encourages listeners to evaluate whether their chosen vehicle is large enough to match their skills and financial goals.

So I want to share with you a billion dollar lesson that I learned from Russell Brunson. And this came to me as I was walking through my pool table room where I keep all of the gifts and things that I get from all of the gurus out there that send me cool stuff. So I was looking at these books here from Russell, and I wanted to share this concept with you. So I've watched Russell grow. I'm so proud of him, you know, as he's on the billion dollar fast track. And, you know, as I started to kind of develop online and, you know, teach people marketing and lead generation, I. I remember I saw a talk that he was doing one time online, and he was talking about how for years he was great at marketing and he'd make millions of dollars, he would lose it, and it was kind of like this spiral effect in his business. And then that's when he realized that basically he had a level 10 skill set, but a level three opportunity. So you have to ask yourself, if you're a person that you feel like you got the skills to pay the bills, but you're not making money, you have to ask yourself, is the vehicle that you're in big enough to get you to that billion dollar mark?
