Hey guys! I was not feeling so great, and so I decided to get outside and take a self-care walk. If you're not feeling good, the best thing to do is to change up your environment. Sitting inside, moping, ruminating about what it is that you're upset about is not gonna help you. Putting on Netflix and watching a show and zoning out and trying to pretend that you're not upset doesn't work either. What I find is that when I can get outside and get my body moving, things start to shift. My perspective changes, literally and figuratively, and I'm able to really change my emotion into something a little bit more positive, even if it means that I let out some of the sadness, the anxiety, the frustration. This gives me space to experience more peace or more gratitude and to see things a little bit differently. So I hope that the next time you're feeling upset that you decide to do something for your self-care. Whether or not it's going outside and walking is up to you, but hey, I've gotta say, it totally works for me. See you next time. Bye!
