We're recording our entire lives on TikTok and phones, creating a massive video archive of daily culture. Thousands of years from now, future societies could literally watch human evolution happen by scrolling through this footage.
We're entering a really interesting part of human history where a large percentage of humans are starting to document their entire lives. Platforms like TikTok and cameras like iPhones are making it possible for somebody to document their entire life and all of their interests and the activities that they are doing on a daily basis. It's going to be incredibly interesting 1,000 years from now as a more advanced human society looks back and literally is able to watch human evolution through video content. Imagine if you could watch events through Earth 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 years ago and you could see the evolution of human history.
