I started off fairly young. I was 12 years old when I had my first real job. Okay. And 13 when I tried to start my first real company, which failed miserably, but I was 13 years old. My actual real working background is 6 years in manufacturing. Okay. Back in those days, 6 years in marketing before I was recruited by a bank president to become a banker. And I worked in both commercial, traditional, and non-traditional banking. Till the point that I became frustrated with the system. That's when I left, which was almost 30 years ago now, to start my own firm. And the whole reason we started this was to make a sustainable difference with clients where I couldn't do that in the corporate world as I viewed it then.
