A coach reflects on getting stuck in indecision about marketing their business, then being challenged to commit to a decision. The turning point came when someone pushed back on the endless deliberation and forced a choice.
There was a while ago, probably three or four years ago, and I was starting to do marketing for my coaching business. I started. I was trying to sell more spots for my coaching, and I was spinning so hard in indecision, and I couldn't even decide if I was going to send the emails out to my tiny email list. At the time. I think there were, like, 400 people on my email list that maybe weren't even qualified to attend the challenge. But that's all beside the point. I remember having this conversation with her, and she looked at me dead in the eyes, and she said, are you going to do it or not? Like, decide right now if you're going to run the challenge, or are you not going to run the challenge? Challenge. Because if you're going to run this challenge, you have to send the emails today.
