This is a YouTube video titled "Fears Unlock Our Stronger Versions" containing a reflective monologue recorded on November 25, 2022. The speaker discusses overcoming fear of being on camera, addressing subconscious patterns and the power of neuroplasticity to reprogram the brain and change self-perception. The content is personal and motivational in nature.
Why was I ever afraid of camera? Like, I love people. Why would I not want another opportunity to connect with people? Why did I make it such a big thing in my brain of what it meant or what stories I had about myself being awkward or weird or, you know, like, unable to connect with people over video? Like, I had all of these stories, and to be honest with you, I don't even know where those stories came from. Maybe at one point I had an awkward phone call with somebody and then I started hating the phone, which I guess is also still true. But, you know, you realize that we have these subconscious patterns in our lives. And when you do face that fear, when you take the, you know, you know, you rip the band aid off and you do the thing, we completely reprogram our brains through neuroplasticity. And then we see ourselves in a brand new light.
